If you really want to compare AD and Lebron with a duo in the past of the Lakers then it could be Kobe and Pau.  Wink
Pau also shoots the ball from the outside and is defensive on the inside.
Davis is just better with his versatility.
If he will gain more experience then I am sure he will dominate even the best forwards of the league.
The good part is, he has his own style that plays a big role for the team.

It's definitely not a Kobe and Shaq, maybe Lebron can be compared with Kobe but Davis is cannot be compared to shaq since Shaq does not shoot 3s and does not even have a decent FT percentage, he was just dominant inside, rebounding, points and block, Davis is not that strong as a center IMO.

A very big difference between Shaq and Davis.

Way back center play the game like Shaq dominating the center position, more on dunks and blocking your shots, while now, center shot 3's and more on perimeters. That Shaq attack will overpower and kill you when he make tat lowpost, while with Davis he will kill you with he's perimeter or with his quickness against you.

TBH, I'm afraid on how the Bucks will be this season with their current roster. This might be the same as LeBron carrying a heavy load back when he is on the Cavaliers. It doesn't mean that they are a weak team but if you will compare this year's roster and last year, the last year's roster is obviously better than the current one.
I have the same concern about the roster of Lakers. The last season's roster was stronger than the current one. But that's it, change of roster has happened and even though some of them from the last season was out of them anymore.

The current roster is still strong and recognizable and is likely to have a back to back.
Yeah, Anthony Davis is still on the lakers and that will be one of the difficult to guard player including Lebron. Their tandem is really a good tandem where Lebron can either shoot and Davis can make a rebound due to height advantage or Lebron could also pass into him inside the court and make the basket. This is how Kobe and Shaq strategy they applied. Lakers wanting to get shooters and at the same time a tall player that can dominate inside the ring. This is how they played most of their game.

Yes, not comparable, Shaq and AD. However, we might see their names along side great Lakers tandem, Magic and Kareem, and then Kobe and Shaq, that alone is already a highlights for both Lebron and AD to be mentioned along the greats of Lakers dynasty.

So we hope that they can still play together and bring more championships to the Lakers. They are the key components, also they've lost a great deal of supporting case, they have replace them with better players that might fit their style of play.

What's happening with the Thunders? They've been very busy tossing players around like they are basketball Grin and it looks like they aren't done yet. They've taken rebuilding to a different level with these trades.
I have only one question. What are they going to do with too many draft picks? Smiley

I can't wait for Harden to be traded. I don't really care where. Maybe the Warriors?  Grin
Warriors are no longer interested in such a deal. Maybe, he will be traded to the 76ers or other teams like the Pelicans, Timberwolves, and Clippers.

Damn, that was a long list.
I made an effort reading them all but none of them really WOW'ed my eye.
It's like everything is for the future.  Grin
Kyrie is both a decent human but also a weird fella as well.
Yes, he is weird.
Lebron puts his relationship with players especially teammates like brothers.
I don't know about Kyrie. He says mean words without thinking about it. It could be on purpose for hoarding attention.

Let's just see if all his words can be proven on the basketball floor this season.

Kyrie is both a decent human but also a weird fella as well. He puts up 1.5 million dollars to pay for people who are hungry to eat, then says earth is flat, goes pays for scholarship to many kids all at once, then says he wants out of Cevland because he wants to be on his own team, pays for peoples pandemic debts in needed areas where government doesn't help, then says he never played with a player who was clutch after playing with LEBRON FREACKING JAMES, I mean I can't say he is a bad person, he helps the poor and needy so much so obviously he is a good person but at the same time he feels like an idiot as well sometimes, like saying he never played with a clutch player after playing with Lebron so long definitely shows he wanted to hurt Lebron a lot, how could we say someone who deliberately says something bad can be a good person but how can someone who spends millions to people who are in need a bad person neither? So, he is a very enigmatic person to say the least.

Talents are already their, chemistry is only what is necessary in order for this team to function at their maximum capacity.

Durant and Irving being a proven star players in the NBA has to work together, do their rule and expect one another, that way they'll be a tough team to beat. Compared to the west rosters, the East is not that good so Nets should have an easier path to be in the playoffs and even advance in the NBA Finals.

They are actually starting their progress with their chemistry in a different way.  Grin
The ETCs with Kevin Durant Episode 1: Kyrie Irving (Part 2)
Their discussions are in chemistry, I don't know if it's the same in basketball as a team.  Grin
But with their roleplayers like Dinwiddie, Allen, LeVert, and Harris, chemistry is not a problem anymore.
We haven't seen enough yet of the Nets, I'm afraid expectation vs reality would happen, well, hopefully it will goes well for them as that would also make the NBA a better league to watch. New popular team in the NBA is what we need, for now, all eyes to the Lakers.

How about Bucks?
D.J. Augustin will be their new ball handler. They got used to Bledsoe so there will also be a lot of changes.
No problem with Jrue since he's a versatile player.
Jrue Holiday is the real deal here,  not sure with D.J Augustin yet as I'm not really a fan of his team.

Good evening!
I would like to know the opinion of you, who follow the NBA, which news site do you see to know the player trades?!?
The Los Angeles Lakers still remain the favorite to win the NBA title of the 2021 season?
Yes, it's still LAL the favorite of the crowd.

Here's the NBA 2020-2021 power ranking.

1. LA Lakers
2. Milwaukee Bucks
3. LA Clippers
4. Brooklyn Nets
5. Miami Heat
6. Boston Celtics
7. Denver Nuggets
8. Golden State Warriors
9. Toronto Raptors
10. Dallas Mavericks

I guess GSW will be out of the top 10 for the power rankings now, after learning that Thompson suffered a season ending injury.
And a healthy Nets would beat the Bucks all day everyday lol.

With the Brooklyn, it is too early to be optimistic until you see them in the court. Remember when the Thunder have PG13, Melo and Ninja Turtle Westbrook. It didn't turned out well on them. I'm not saying that it might happen to the Nets too but for me, I will not judge them until I see their performance and chemistry in the court.

I'm a Warrior Fan since the start of their NBA Finals run and until now but I know that the Warriors are weaker right now without Thompson unless Wiggins can score like Klay then they can still be a strong team. I will just wait on how they will play in the start of the season.

The Nets are strong without Kyrie (injured) and Durant before.
Their roleplayers are still young and are in their prime.
The question here is if it will work out with the addition of Durant in the rotation and for their new head coach.
I hope it will and make the East spark once again.
Heat, Bucks, and Nets, we all want to see them clash in the playoffs to watch a great game.  Wink

Yeah the west has long been the better division even when lebron was winning titles at Miami or clevland the east was terrible.  Glad to see a little more balance come to the east.  Cant wait to see how these young guys play for the knicks.  Tired of watching them lose year after year 😪

There are lots of expectations with KD playing along side with his new teammates, knowing him as a scorer and most of the time holding the ball, setting up the rotation for him and Kyrie mught be a tough job for Coach Nash. It will be a question of leaderships and adjustments, respecting one another will bring them what they all desires.

Nets hypes will be tested this coming season, it's a good contender from the east side, together with the classic, Heat, Bucks, Celtics,Raptors and sixers. Very nice for all the fans watching more enjoyable and competitive games from time to time.

I doubt that Nets are that good, I get that they have Irving and Durant and those are some pretty good players, and Nets got some AMAZING staff additions this year so I understand that people expect the world from them but remember a team that grew together versus a team that was built recently will always have a difference. Bucks got together very early on and they grew up together and they became good together, whereas Nets got just purchased and that's it.

Definitely there is still a chance Nets could win, just like how Miami won too and they weren't even better on paper all year, but I still think Bucks is a bigger title contender than Bucks. This year might be more fun to watch, last year was a bit worse because of bubble. However I am pretty sure many players will be out due to covid all year, it is going to be tougher to control now that they are not in the bubble.

They might but you can't just throw them on paper and assume.  You need the entire team out on the court to see if the team gels.  I do agree *if healthy the nets are a better team, but they've yet to play a game altogether with Kylie and Durant on the floor.

Get the latest news on player trades through NBA news --> https://www.nba.com/news

There's a lot of outlet where you can find news about NBA or what is happening inside, just search NBA news, NBA rumors, or NBA updates, and you'll see a lot of information popping out. sometimes their website does not give all the information we need.

by the way, check this site to know which teams are favorites to win next season.

https://www.vegasinsider.com/nba/odds/futures/

In addition there are also youtube videos created by content creators where we can see some latest updates about on what's happening or updates on NBA and I find watching videos about NBA content is more fun rather than reading those articles of media.

Steph is healthy and they  have great addition from the draft so I think they are still dangerous and a dominant team, For that for sure they still deserve to be listed on top 10 power rankings since we know how good their players is although Thompsons absence is quite a big loss for them but I'm sure the coaching staff make some ways to improve their current roosters performance.
