I guess GSW will be out of the top 10 for the power rankings now, after learning that Thompson suffered a season ending injury.
And a healthy Nets would beat the Bucks all day everyday lol.

I think Lakers is one of the favorites again but the league is a very long marathon.
Thank you very much for sharing this information with me, thanks!!

I’ll go deeper into that, but I think the Lakers are this season’s favorite, but anything can happen.

Lots of twist will happened along the way, Lakers still have a good chance indeed.

But who knows, this incoming season might be differ from the last bubble, as those last time bench due to injuries are now expected to play with their respective teams, then trades happened and will continue until the deadline, expect more competitions
between teams around the league.

However they really do not need to trade Derozan and LMA this year, their contracts are ending soon enough anyway and they could get those players back for a lot less soon as well.

I have to agree with that. Let DeRozan and Aldridge finished their contracts or just consider trading them if these players asked to.

Didn't see any rumor yet that both players want to get out on the team so it's good news for the Spurs that they are comfortable with the team. Spurs just need to do better when picking role players to surround and support their main scorers.

It will count several seasons before we see a competitive Spurs roster again.

Well, there was a rumour on DeRozan wanting to leave the Spurs because he was unhappy as how the team turns out last season. But he himself has already Spurs’ DeMar DeRozan’s strong statement about alleged trade demand.

So he will still play with San Antonio because he says there are things that he wanted to do. And San Antonio is willing to give him the chance to prove himself again this season.

As a side note, I layed some money on the knicks +23 wins this year.  I'm a homer cause I usually don't bet on my teams but I'm hoping the knicks can win somewhere in the range of 30+ games.  At a certain point they have to wins some games right?
Sounds interesting, may I ask what site did you put your bet?
Yeah, have the same question. I want to put some bets on that too.

Precisely, i will be surprised if they even make the playoffs this year given how stacked some teams are in the West. "new look Spurs" shooting 3s in transition, haha sorry but that's just funny.

Spurs will be better off trading DeRozan and Aldridge for whatever they can get in return (picks/maybe some young talent) and develop Dejounte, Derrick White and Lonnie Walker.

Well, we will never know once they stepped into playoffs again.
Pops will not just let that chance slip away and might go for a championship again.
If this new style that Patty Mills is talking about will work then maybe they can go higher than just making the playoffs.
We'll see.

I went to a local casino i did not use an online site.  Its convenient and I know it will still be in business once the bet comes due.  I like using sites for immediate games or bets in the near future.

It is obvious that Spurs can't compete for a championship, they know their roster situation, and they do have great players that are good enough for Spurs but at the same time they realize they do not have superstars that can bring them championship neither.
They are other teams that don't also have roster caliber to a championship but there's nothing they can do but to continue it.

Well, it seems that fans need not worry about them, they've even expecting not to advance.

If they want to get rid of their contract now, they will have to give up so much and as a team that already has 5 championships in the recent 22-23 years, they had their fair share of success, so they could just let this team run for another season, get their stars for cheaper, and try to look for another star in the free agency to actually run for a title chance.

It will not work right away, though coach Gregg Popovich is one of the greatest coach in the NBA, he can't transform a defensive team to a 3 point shooting in just one season, that's crazy, and I don't really expect that. The fact that it says freedom, which means no pressure, they are not up to a bigger goal than a playoff spot.

Toronto Raptor will definitely win this match 4:0 with this strategies they are using in this first half.
What match? I'm confused with the strategy you're mentioning.
lol.. he must be confuse or living in the past, 4:0.. I think it's more like a Lakers scenario.
I'm very much confused thinking about what strategy and what match.

The preseason is still not yet on the go but it's about to go further soon. But that 4:0 thing, made me lol and confused.

Let us witness together if Westbrook will make the team great, or sh*t. Grin
Hopeful for his new home. I don't wish him bad luck but hopefully that he'll be ending up having good performance and with contributions to Wizards.
Westbrook will bring Wizards some quality but I don't think they are a contender team at all. The most they can do is going through Eastern Conference semi finals. I don't even think they can reach East Finals with that lineup.
John Wall was missing whole season so this gamble works better for Wizards.
Most of the opinions that I've seen are negative on him but I'll just enjoy watching them with their debut.

Why not aim for NBA championship?

I guess they already understand that their current line up is not capable of doing it.

I think they are making some preparations for the later season since they have been dominating the playoffs this last decade and also won some championships. Now that they don't have the big 3 in their line ups, they need to reconstruct their team since it didn't work well with Demar Derozan. If they can find other good players to build up the team then their dream to get back to the playoff will become a reality since they also have a veteran coach in their hands.

The west has improved a lot, we have Dallas, Nuggets, Blazers and even the new look suns now can be a problem with the Spurs.  What they do is stick with their line up, they still keep DeRozan which I think not worth for the salary he is making, so for me, they need to trade him to improve the team, otherwise, their best achievement will only be a playoffs spot.
