Anyway, I hope I'm wrong, but I think this is gonna be an easy path for the Bucks in the East towards the NBA Finals.

I might disagree with that "easy" path.

That was the same expectation last year for a much dominant team in the East like Bucks, Raptors, and Celtics but in the end, the unexpected Raptors owned the Eastern Conference and even got a hand on the Larry O' Brien trophy.

Compare to last season, we can see a much better competition in the East today. Even how currently good the Bucks' record today, once playoffs came, they will start at 0-0 and that's where the real challenge will begin.

It differs when it goes to the playoffs.
All players just become more competitive and trying to knock down the higher seed. It is their chance, specially the number 8th spot.
Last time I saw it was the Memphis Grizzlies knocking down the number 1 San Antonio Spurs.
That is why we cannot say it will be easy after this season.
They really have to be careful every time. One error could lead to losing all the effort they made since they Game 1 of the Season and also this streaks that are happening.

Anyway, I feel bad for my team Warriors. They have completely fallen from a very competitive team. It's like they have switched position from Lakers. Too bad, it seems not going to see them in action in playoffs.
You have an excuse on why the Warriors are not the playoff team this season, without Curry and Thompson, it's impossible that it will be the same warriors team. There's still another season, they struggle now or let's just say they have chance to others to come back strong next season.

Even if Curry and Thompson will come back soon, being one of the worst team in the NBA, it's not likely the Warriors will make it to the playoffs.
It will need a big run if they will:(

We will see what will happen in the midst of their game, and for now it's not yet certain if they'll still be worst. Curry and Thomson has the capability to play hard, so we can't judge them based of their previous games because as the game run through it's always giving off unexpected shots. As you said a big run is needed, that's how it works as they focus on their goals for the team.
Their status now belongs to the rank of the worst team in the NBA, I am basing on fact which they have a record of 5 wins and 20 losses as of this time, they are just a little ahead by the NYK with 4 wins and 19 loses. Maybe their ranking will improve once Curry and Thompson come back to play again but like I said, I am not expecting them anymore to be in the playoffs.

NBA Power Rankings: Lakers, Bucks battle for top spot; Jimmy Butler leads rising Heat; Celtics getting healthy

Just about a quarter of the way into the 2019-20 NBA season, and the Los Angeles Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks appear to be a step ahead of the competition. Behind the stellar individual play of Giannis Antetokounmpo, LeBron James and Anthony Davis, those two teams are the class of the league right now by pretty much every metric. But that doesn't mean it will stay that way.

Look at that. It's just Giannis for the Bucks while Lebron and AD for the Lakers.
Could we say that is unfair for a comparison?  Grin
Should've put Middleton on the spotlight too. He is an All-Star now.

The next against the two will be December 20. Hoping to see the Bucks still in their streak before they meet that strong team as they say it.  Grin
It's more than a week before the clash but viewers are hype about this two most favorite team. I can feel how Bucks badly wanted to beat Lakers. They will gain momentum and will erase doubt if they stand a chance against Lakers if ever they meet in NBA Finals. Anyway, I feel bad for my team Warriors. They have completely fallen from a very competitive team. It's like they have switched position from Lakers. Too bad, it seems not going to see them in action in playoffs.

The best team in the NBA will be determined on December 19 (20 in the Phil) if both Lakers and Bucks stays undefeated here after.

The best team in the NBA will be determined on that single game? How? Why? Is that really an important game that can dictate who is the best?

I'm seeing that as just another day of the NBA season. Don't take that game as a reference who will be the best. As usual, it's more of testing strategies and checking both the team's strengths.

The real battle will happen once both teams will face in a series match.

Don't forget about Sixers who also doing some good winning streak and the defending Champ which also trying to still holding to their position
even Leonard already left them. It's a good way to see that all those teams are working and trying to comes up with playoffs caliber performances,
they are all competitive and working for every opportunities that they can get while the first round still ongoing.

Still, I didn't see Sixers going to the finals and winning a title this season. Maybe a conference final but an NBA Finals? It will not happen this season.

Not to underestimate but we should consider first those powerhouses along the way before thinking off about that Finals thing.  Grin

About to that power ranking list, then im not surprised on this one but it would really be interesting to see on how these 2 top teams will clash on.

Yeah Middleton gets overlooked.  Take him off the team and it's a whole different look.  I like the team construct of the bucks.  They seem like they have the right pieces to contend with any type of team.  Not knocking the lakers, I just think they are very top heavy which isnt a bad thing, just need the top 2-3 guys always on their game.

It is not gonna be an easy path for them. They have good competition in the east with sixers, celtics, raptors and heat. It will be a different game when playoffs start since they are bound to face in a series. Strategies and adjustments are important. The bucks better not think they will get the east easily or they will be in a lot of trouble.

Great comparison, though Lakers still have a deeper bench and with those stars support cast who can also bring something to help the team
it's good to see this two compete and see the preview of the finals if ever they continue dominating both sides. They are tied and both from
the top of their respective conference divisions. We never knows what this teams are capable to bring in once they've met inside the court.

That's your opinion but they have players that are capable on winning in the playoffs.

I like the starters of the sixers especially the following, Ben Simmons, Tobias Harris, Joel Embiid, and Al Horford because these are proven legit players whom you can count on them to help their team to win.

IMO, these players are an all star caliber players and I know they will perform more in the playoffs.

Of course we are seeing what the defending champ has been doing, there were in a winning streak but then they suffered a losing streak and just today they won and break the 3 losing streak. With Gasol, Ibaka being defensive players in the NBA, they'll help the team win, and also they have VanVleet who is getting better and better, and hopefully he will be back soon.

I also noticed the Heat are unnoticeably slowly becoming a strong team in the East. Butler is a good fit in Miami. While Brown, Tatum, and Hayward doing a good job showing nothing really changed in Boston since Kyrie left.

So long as the Lakers want more recognition than being able to win a championship, I think they will be on top of the power rankings. But if they will let some games slide through and let their key players relax since the season is just a quarter through then the Bucks will take the lead.
