17 consecutive wins for Bucks till now and they are unstoppable.
It is their season to get the title and Giannis deserves a ring, he has pushed this team to their best performance.
This record is the 2nd longest streak in franchise history and I hope they are going to continue and get the best streak in history.

Yes, looks like the Bucks has quickly settled down, their chemistry is 100% and it seems that they are really invincible and unstoppable at this point. But this game is very long and gruelling, 80+ so we still don't know if they can hold it.

I'm waiting for the big test, Lakers in about a week. This will be a big game for them and every NBA fans as going to watch and see who's going to be on top.

In fairness with Jimmy he really tried to fight and compete with this super team, seeing how they keep chasing the leads and need giving up till the last dying second. If that last attempt of Jimmy went in the game will be send to overtime, but same as you think it's really hard to defend AD while your focusing with what lebron will do while dribbling the ball. This two monster leading the way building deeper foundations for the Lakers.

Yeah their chemistry is starting to be fruitful.
Anthony Davis though is really showcasing all of his skills.
This young man is really something to watch out. Big size with shooting skills. It is difficult to whom you will compare him with all the forwards and centers of the NBA.
Toughness is there and so is speed even with his height.
It will be an even more offer next year for him, he just needs to stay healthy.

The Heat will be a tougher opposition for the Lakers tonight however I still can't see the Heat winning this game. The Lakers have been on fire on the road this season and even when they are down they seem to find a way to win so I think this will continue tonight. I also think the Clippers go on a run and string several games together until they meet the Lakers on Christmas Day so I'll be rolling with both LA teams until then.

That was a close fight.
It got away when the 3rd quarter started.
Two monsters of the Lakers both have a double double. Anthony Davis got his 30+ game again.
Once he does that, it will be difficult to the opposing team to have a good lead.

Butler is really not enough in my opinion although he got 23 points. He needs to do more than that if he still want that celebrity spot in Hollywood.  Grin Just kidding.

As you said, the Heat is truly a very formidable opponent.Lakers win the game by just 3 points. Lakers' mentality this season is truly extraordinary. After earlier it was quite far behind in the second quarter. I have a feeling they will become NBA champions for this season. They have everything to make it happen.

The Heat indeed became a team to beat in the playoffs as they are quitely displaying such good basketball. Regardless of the loss from the Lakers tonight, they showed good defense and offensive sequence during the 1st half, which I think is a good thing for the team to slowly build up their rythm while half of the season is approaching.
Anyway, props to the Lakers for remaining undefeated on the road games.

Luka Doncic’s 40-point triple-double vs. Pistons sets multiple records

Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic set multiple records with his 40-point triple-double in their win over the Detroit Pistons.

https://clutchpoints.com/mavs-news-luka-doncics-40-point-triple-double-vs-pistons-sets-multiple-records/

Love this question from that webpage.

Quote
With a ton of games left in the 2019-20 season, it seems that Doncic is just showing us a glimpse of his astronomical talent. What does he have in store for us next?

There is still so much room for improvement with this guy.
I hope I could live long enough to see it all. Will be following more about this guy.
So for now he had equaled Lebron with a 40 point triple double. He will break it. There is no doubt about that.

He may be the most entertaining player to watch by now. Yeah!, he is.  Cheesy

Nevertheless, it is a marvelous achievement for such a young player from Europe to be even in discussion of MVP let alone being just decent, even back when Manu or Dirk came to league (in my opinion best foreign players) they were not this good but became good, this kid is good from the get go.

Are we talking about Luka Doncic here? He is an exceptional player even when he was still in Euroleague. A professional player at a very young age and achieving a lot in Europe, it is expected that he will be bigger here in NBA as he matures. The MVP race is tough but I believe he will achieve it soon.
We do know that NBA is different if you remember Toni Kukoč he also have spectacular skills wayback but when he enter the League he just relying
with MJ same with Ginobli who's also have the same caliber back in European league, but with Luka the type of his supremacy in his age it's really
exceptional for sure he will achieve more as he grow and matured he's talent will bring more recognitions.

He already building up that recognition gradually.Setting new achievements and i wont be surprised if this guy would get some MVP award.
What i do like with this guy is on his versatility plus his shooting success percentage no matter what range he's in plus having some
coordination with his team specially with porzingis/kp.Still have a lot of years to progress and might become a legend someday.  Cool

I know tree young is a good player and all but imagine being atlanta hawks knowing you drafted luka and instantly gave him up.  I remember leading up to the draft he was highly regarded but people are always shy because the the whole darko milicic night.are detroit had to go through.

Luck or whatever you call it, a win is a win, period.

Cavaliers are desperate to win because they are in a losing streak and they got it today, give them some credit for making the right plays and spurs losing to a bad team doesn't mean they are now a bad team also, it is just like that, a player experience an off time, same with the team.
Even if the spurs are heavily favored, it doesn't mean that they are not vulnerable of losing.

It was Sexton and Clarkson stepping up.
But the special mention goes to Kevin Love.
Again with his strong game. Looks like the healing process is over.
30 points with 17 rebounds. Not all forwards can make that kind of number but this is just a normal thing with Love.

Last game against the Rockets was 17 points and 11 rebounds. Despite coming out from an injury he is still playing strong. No signs of mental issues.

Clevland is for sure going to give kevin the best ability to have great games.  He will be a valuable trade piece come close to the trade deadline.  A contending team would gladly give up a young player or draft pick for love.  They are rebuilding young and love probably would like to leave a rebuilding team anyway, he doesnt have many years left to contend

LeBron transcends from being a forward to an all around player and it pays the Lakers well. Right now, LeBron became an efficient playmaker that he is playing the point guard position and their bigmen were the recipient of his plays and accurate passes.
I don't really think saying transcends is the appropriate word to use on LeBron James. First I think to categorize all around player to their role in the court. It's so different the roles and how they play the game. I think that he's an all around player since he came in the league. He's already an elite scorer, he can get you some boards and can pass the ball.

There must be some "change of game" involved with this as well, these type of players didn't existed in the early 2000's and all of 90's, it was still possible in 70's maybe but even 80's were difficult. Game changed to such a speedy one and changed to a level where stars are playing however they want that right now we have a basketball world where teams possessions last less than 10 seconds and stars have the ball at the start of each one, so they either score or assist most of the time since game doesn't slow down too much.

That is all he needs.
Shooters and big men.
So they just dug the plays they used for Magic and now they are still in good use even with the new era of basketball.
They just need to tweak some of it because now 3 pointers are more reliable and so does the big men which shoots outside too.

In my opinion this is not much of an adjustment for Lebron, he is already doing it in Cavs before Kyrie came to the team.

It is easy to talk about how good Lebron is right now because everyone is seeing how awesome he is playing right now, however if you go back pages and check out what people were saying about Lebron last year you will see that there was a lot of people who lost hope on Lebron and thought he came to LA because he felt like he is done and he wanted his last years to be in Hollywood and grow his business and he stopped caring about basketball.

Not all have the same though but I agree with you.
There is a reason for that and that is because he is not playing much due to his injury.

But there are also optimistic people.
It was Magic who brought Lebron in Lakers and I have the idea about why.
He see Lebron as one who is like him. A playmaker.
He want to see the old Lakers in where he dominated it using his play style.
It is more like passing the torch to him.

That came true. Look how he plays now. He is more difficult to defend because of his play style.
He holds the play and so he could also use it as a hesitation move. Sadly, Magic is not the president anymore of the Lakers.
