Lakers starting strong in the 1st quarter outscoring the Kings, (44-22), THAT 22 points up in the first quarter alone.

Can the Kings come back in this game? Let's find out if they can, but I am confident Lakers would win by blowout to bounce back from a loss in LA.

They'll win this game, Kings has no answer against them and they can't make a big rally, it's already in the 3rd quarter now yet the lead is still 20 points, if Lakers can hold on to that lead until the 4th quarter, then I believe 1 quarter is not going to be enough for a rally, maybe they'll cover but less likely.

The 3 point shots of the Lakers was superb and thanks to the 16 points 1st quarter game of BRADLEY.
They really got the touch in 3s in this game, KINGS had some answers from the deep 3 but not close enough to stay strong in that game.
I really admire how the KING makes those passes and sees those unguarded teammates.

The Lakers has been almost undefeated from a team under .500 and by far the best record for road games this season. So, if the Lakers will play against a low seeded team, the chance for them to cover the spread that the bookies will open is pretty high. But, when playing against above .500 teams, the chance for them to win or cover the spread is fair. That's what I noticed from the Lakers team so far this season.

Great! Thank you for that.

Chances of them losing against under what you mentioned is really low.
That is why I had been losing my bets against them.  Grin

I learned something though. That is why I already stopped betting against them anymore.
But whenever they are against Dallas or Nuggets, chances of my emotions being pulled is there.
So again, back to betting against the Lakers.  Grin
I would keep this in mind though.  Wink

That's why they lose against the Blazers, right?
Well, we really can't tell if that would continue to be the trend, that is only based on your observation, for how many games?
It's nice if we can find some stats on that and hopefully some members would share sites than we can check on different betting stats.

If Nygeets will continue their winning streak this handicap is more enough to place a bet. They can cover this if they play the same way
against the bucks, They've known for good defense and if they continue working to make it more tight it will be hard for piston to execute
and make this as close game.

I do agree with that.
The handicap is way too low.

Pistons had been losing in 5 streaks and they should have been given more if they consider how strong the Nuggets is.
Easy bet for all of us here as we could see the history.
What are the odds of Pistons winning this game? I think it is way too low.
How about this?
Bucks -12.5 @ 1.93 against the Suns. Is that enough?
Bulls also is being given +10.5 vs Raptors. Wow!

They won 5 points in the 2nd quarter and 2 in the 3rd.
Still not enough to get near that 22 points lead made at the first.
They did not make it at the end.

Tomorrow will be Detroit Pistons against the Nuggets.
Nuggets have won 2 in a row with strong teams, Jazz and Bucks.
Now it is just -1.5 and I think it is a good bet.
Yes, putting my bets for them.

I kinda understand how Lakers could lose the game, they probably do not feel like playing, I understand that Kobe would have wanted them to play hard and win on his behalf but Lakers know the fact that they are a better team than Blazers any day of the week and could easily sweep them on playoffs as well, so it wouldn't be really hard for them yet they were feeling horrible, check out the before game ceremony and how many active players on the roster was crying, you can't just switch from crying to fighting, that is not something so easy.

As long as they win the cup this year and tribute it to Kobe, I would be super happy, Lakers getting another ring just at the year Kobe died would be really all Kobe would have wanted, he was always a champion and would want that to continue after his death.

A loss is a loss though.

They can just take it back. There will always be a next game and game after that. They could always take back what they lost in this game. I think I would also not be in the mood of playing just after paying a tribute to him, they lost by 8 so I think it is really kind of a tribute game for him.

I do hope they win to at least ease the pain with Lebron at the helm of another championship ring for the Lakers this season.
That remains to be seen, though the Lakers now have a good record but I can see some inconsistency on them, in the playoffs it's a different story and they'll have to beat the best teams in the west, unlike his time with the Cavaliers where he dominated the other teams.

here in the west, there's clippers, Jazz, Rockets, and Denver which are all good contenders, it would be great if they'll win actually but me I am just looking on the realistic possibility.

Let's just say it is going to be a good playoffs.
Win or lose they will play well, no doubt about that.

Both Pelicans and Trail Blazers are now playing to dominate the game with 3 winning streak.
They both want a spot on the 8th seed.
This might become more like a playoffs game even if it is not starting yet.
Grizzlies will need to secure their spot. Ja Morant should prevent their team from losing too much starting now.

The pain would bd eased but the legacy is being passed to him and that is not an easy taks, it is a huge task. Shouldering a legacy, a team that is built by a legend would be so tough but I know Lebron is ready for it especially this is for him, for his family that's lost. It will not just be lebron who will be pressured by this, the whole lakers team will.

The lost to the game by 8 points 127-119.
8 points?? Isn't it the number of Kobe when he first played? A coincidence Cheesy Weird happenings right now Cheesy.

I was thinking the same. I guess the NBA doesn't want to forget his legacy and will forever engrave his name in the league.

That's 8 coming from a lose and Kobe is about winning, they should have at least tried everything to win as a tribute for Kobe, a lose doesn't look good IMO.

Well, yeah that doesn't look good either, but let's just consider the fact that the LA team were emotional during the game, and just like Damian said, the game started slow because everyone is emotional. It may sound absurd like everyone said " It's just a regular season", what's important is to win the NBA finals this year.
I hope they will do everything they can to win it all.

Exactly, Lakers are still devastated from Kobe's untimely demise, so its really hard for them play because there are no energy, it's emotionally draining to cry, and then go on to play and try to win when there's no energy from you, physical and psychological.

Knicks have sucked for 2 decades.  Allan houston era was the last good one with all the miami rivalry games.  Knicks had one decent season with melo and even then they were never in position to go far in the playoffs, they need to stack draft assets and hope one of these draft picks hit
They are not doing any of the things you guys think they are doing. They are just sucking because they suck, management sucks, the front office sucks, hell the coaching sucks right now as well and anyone who plays at Knicks doesn't see it as something serious but only a thing where they can play and get money, they are literally entertainers at this point and not basketball players because they can finish the seasons 10-72 and the management will still make a ton of money.

It is New York, everything is expensive, and Dolan also owns the stadium, so dude will charge whatever he wants for the tickets AND for the food, drinks etc so they are literally profiting from it. By comparison, Spurs lost money in 2009 for example when they made it to playoffs, New York Knicks made profit last year and all of those past 20 years.

Basically, it became something like "no matter what we do, we will profit anyway, so why Boter caring about getting better" for the Owner and the management.

It really comes down to management.  The coach can only coach the players on the team.  Choices like giving tim Hardaway a 4 year 70-80 million contract, trading draft picks for what are bench players on other teams are the decisions that have killed this thing.  I was on the side of trading kp.  He just tore an acl and is a 7 footer that usually doesnt bode well long term.  They need draft capital and now they have it.  They will have all the cap space they need moving forward and multie first rounders in the next coue of years.  They need someone like rj to become a star.  Land a FA or 2 and have good drafts going forward and they can finally turn this around.

So LaVine and Gordon's rematch will now finally happen*. Although LaVine still not confirmed, he's the one who started this rematch thing after the majority seems not happy with the outcome of the Dunk Contest last year.

For those who forgot, this is all where it started:

2/2019 Zach LaVine Hints At Dunk Contest Rematch With Aaron Gordon On Cryptic Instagram Post
8/2019 Aaron Gordon sends out a challenge for 2020 Dunk Contest

Actually, I almost forgot this challenge since I think that won't happen again soon. But now we can assume it is on an 80% chance to happen. And Dwight Howard, again, will surely entertain the crowd as he did before. And another confirmed participant Derrick Jones Jr., I'm waiting for the creativity of this guy. His leaping ability is closed to Lavine and Gordon.
The LaVine and Gordon rematch is a little bit close to reality as Gordon already confirmed joining the 2020 Dunk Contest. I really like the energy they are giving in on dunk contests. People are enjoying the hype, the excitement is surreal when even just one of them doing a fancy dunk on a normal game that could be put on their own scrapbook. Plus they get to have Derrick Jones Jr. Now, it's triple happiness and it'll be very hard to judge between these dunkers who'll win this year. All of them have their own creativity in their show.

The lost to the game by 8 points 127-119.

I think it's normal and it's just a coincidence. Unlike getting a 24 shot clock violations just to honor Kobe's death. I just don't know in a situation in which Trae and Devin end the game with 24 FG.

Chances that they've matured enough not to focused with Giannis alone will help them to have a better chances to win the eastern finals.
With how they are playing right now and how they move the ball it's good to see a well balanced rotations, even Giannis is their main offensive
weapon but the supporting cast are also bringing the challenge and contributes.

We can see the improvement even at the start of the season. And I think this will be the play of the Bucks until Antetekoumpo retires since the co-owner of Bucks wanted him for the rest of his entire career. Well, with that kind of player, who would not want to take care of that.
Agree to that, Giannis is one of those star player that owner of the franchise will surely offered satisfying paycheck to make sure that he will stay with the team till he retired he's jersey. It will take a long journey with the Buck since he's still young and he's athletic body if will not get any major injuries will let him to carry this team till they successfully reached the finals and win the world title.

Something fresh and some veteran, with a rematch from the highest scores in dunking.
Will be a great show indeed.

As of Derrick Jones Jr., you can see not much effort when he jumps but yet it is always high enough that you will think there is a flubber on his shoes.  Grin
Question will be the creativity. It will be difficult to win against LaVine when it comes to style.
