Bad news! Anthony Davis (shoulder and rib soreness) will not playtonight against the Golden State Warriors. Even without AD I think the Lakers will handle this game easily.

I hate to break it but Lakers smoothly outrun the famous warriors during the game. As many players step up during Davis absence. Kuzma added a 22 points, and Mcgee working out on the inside with 17 rebounds. I know it's hard for the warrior's fan to see their team beaten like that but since Curry and Thompson are out, you can't expect anything from them for now.

I'm so happy my laker team advancing now with 9-2 standing.
Of course the warriors can do nothing against a team with LeBron in it. Even without Davis, the Lakers simply put up a show to dismantle the undermanned warriors.

I watched Timberwolves vs Spurs last night, as i wanted to see Wiggins.  For the last few years he is considered to be one of the worst max contracts in the NBA, he really played like he didn't care whether he wins or loose, but this season he is playing much better. Finally showing why he won ROTY award back in 2015 and why he got that max contract . If he keeps playing like that ( and improving) and with Towns playing on his level, Wolves might be an interesting team to watch.

They've got the chance last season with Butler and DRose but like what you've said he's not performing that well, but now he's improving and he's helping the team with Town's aggressiveness they are bringing the Wolves to another level. lets hope that he will continue being consistent and
also keep delivering to have a big impact to his teammates.

He average 25.5 points as of the last game,  ( https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/w/wiggian01.html)
That average was an improvement already compared to his last season's average of 18.1 points, so let's hope that he will continue to help the wolves in the big way so this team will reach the playoffs this season.

Lakers they have the dominant players and provably they will be the biggest contender thru finals.
They are playing against a very short handed Warriors, please don't make judgment on this game and easy to conclude that they will be the best contender in the Finals. You are hurting our feelings man, lol...

seriously, we also have the Clippers, the Rockets, and the Nuggets, they are some of the good team in the West that could compete against the Lakers in the series, I don't want to be so confident about the Lakers this season as there's a lot of teams that are playing well also, like the teams I've mentioned above.

First day predictions are harder because you don't know how teams perform in the beginning of the league. Pre-season games show a little, in regular games you can see teams better performances.

Atlanta Hawks - Detroit Pistons
Although I'm expecting Atlanta win this match will finish very close.

Chicago Bulls - Cleveland Cavaliers
Derrick Rose is not back yet, he's injured in practice again. Cleveland can win this season opener.

Golden State Warriors - New Orleans Pelicans
Time to see Anthony Davis' capacity this season. This will be another close game and I'm in side with Pelicans.

performances because of the trading and import of other players, from the previous champions, raptors, still has excellent performance and they are in the top two of the game record. Also, Celtics got the number one spot on this season by the improvement of Irving, and even to the GSW against the lakers, we didn't expect that the lakers won against the previous NBA champions. It was too hard to predict which team will go to the finals and to be the next champion, but base on my study and analyzing, raptors still have a considerable chance to win again this season.

I expect them to lose this way and maybe they will get the worse record this season since their main stars has been injured and they didn't have firepower on the bench although russel is playing I think he's still soft since he can't play defense and can't influence his teammate to boost their gameplays and Look how deep the roosters of  Lakers they have the dominant players and provably they will be the biggest contender thru finals.

It's a big contract and that comes with a big responsibility as well.
They won in this game and thanks to Wiggins as the top scorer of the team, however, I think he needs to remain consistent if he wants to bring this team to the playoffs, they failed many times and thus far only KAT is the consistent guy in the team, its time for him to step up and prove that he is worthy of that max contract.

For anyone who doesn't know about this contract, check on this source.

Andrew Wiggins and the Minnesota Timberwolves took a little flack when he signed a five-year, $148 million extension in October of this year.

Good game between Houston and Clippers.

James Harden waxing hot in the first half putting Houston on top. But the Clippers come back at the end of the third and still in the game in the fourth and even takes the lead however, Harden and Russ closed out the game. I thought that Clippers will win because they have the momentum but after a time out, Houston did show us a good defense. Harden with 47/6/7.

In the other hand. Kawhi Leonard puts a lot of effort in terms of offense and defense due to 2 of their first five member is not that effective. James Harden is really commendable in this game.
He show a lot of fire power and put that whooping 47 points in clippers ass. I hope that he will sustain that play until play-offs because that is what's lacking about him.
They are strong in regular season but always choke in the play-offs.

Los Angeles Lakers will face Golden State Warriors tonight, well it will be an easy game for Lakers to complete the leading of the western conference. For the Warriors they are soo weak this season with 2 wins in 11 games, they are really in trouble this season.
They already said in that they don't expect that they will clinch on the playoffs this season. With the injury of Thompson and now Curry, the dynasty of the Warriors are over FOR THE MEANTIME. They can redeem themselves next season alongside with their future draft pick + trades. I'm still a Warrior fan right now but I don't expect too much for them this season and I'm predicting another team to win this season.

As the Warriors are in the last spot at this moment, who'd expect for the Boston Celtics to be in the top spot right now. They are still undefeated in their home and now, they got the win again against the Wizards 140-133. Their strategy to put Smart in the Center position is working effectively against them. They are having a 9 win streak right now and their chemistry on and off the court are great.

I'm favored back then that Warriors should trade D'Lo but the way the guy is doing recently looks like they need to consider other options.

a) Give up their goal for a playoffs spot this season or at least, don't expect. Let the current roster play in their own way while following Steve Kerr's system. In that way, these guys will be used to doing it more and this season is the best time to improve it.

They can use their worst record to get a nice ticket on the draft pick next year. They can choose wisely from those top candidates that might fit to their system. Next season is going to be a new Warriors with a healthy Curry, Thompson and Draymond Green.

b) Push for a title and trade D'Lo since Klay Thompson is expected to go back in action early next year. But kind of a waste since D'Lo is now slowly adapting the Warriors system.

I will go to Letter A. Tanking to get a good ticket next lottery.

Same goes for me.
Do not be taken by the hype of forcing DLo for a trade.
That kid is really good in my opinion. If he somehow make a good chemistry with the Splash Brothers then it would be stop to stop this guys who can really spread the court.
Imagine three guys running everywhere even without the ball. It will be exhausting for the defense. The good thing is DLo is still young.
With his stamina he could make plays like how Curry did it. Keep him running.

We are not even halfway for the whole season. With the role players of GSW gaining chemistry, they could be a great 2nd team the next season.
That is if the trade won't happen.

Iman Shumpert joins with the Brooklyn Nets. Free Agent Iman Shumpert has found his new home after signing a contract with the Brooklyn Nets today. Shumpert took the place in Roster which was still available because there was a 25-match suspension aimed at Wilson Chandler. iI think it's a good opportunity for Shumpert. what do you think guys?

Bad news for this game, but the good news is that the injury is not serious.
https://www.latimes.com/sports/lakers/story/2019-11-13/anthony-davis-is-expected-to-miss-lakers-game-tonight-against-warriors

anyway, these are just warriors with a lot of injuries in their squad too, so Lakers can still get the job done here.
if Lebron want to avenge his many loses against the warriors, this is the best time because Curry and Thompson is not here to defend, lol.

Okay that is good news. Thanks for the update, you save me some time to read more.  Grin

Yeah!! More time for Stuperman!!  Grin Howard will gain more minutes without AD. How fun is that?
But going back to the Lakers against Suns. I saw them hacking Baynes inside or even outside the paint.
Is there a "Hack a Baynes" now? But the guy is not that bad with his freethrow?
What is with the strategy of the Lakers defense? Is this the work of Jason Kidd?

No paul george starting in tonights game so then it will be tomorrow against new orleans.
https://www.latimes.com/sports/clippers/story/2019-11-12/paul-george-will-make-clippers-debut-on-the-road-this-week
They even mentioned it before the game against houston started he will be starting for the first time this season along side kawhi it will now be against the pelicans.

Paul George is more likely to play against Pelicans tommorow, but I saw an Nba article(I forgot which article was it, or maybe that was on facebook) saying Leonard wont likely to play, since the Clippers management wont let Leonard play back-to-back games. Probably another load management?
Can someone verify whether that rumor is true?

Something to look forward to then. This tandem has made quite a noise when they decided to join forces in LA and a lot of people have been waiting to see Kawhi and PG play together. Against a pelicans team, led by young guys, I think this is a good warm up game for PG to get going after being out. He's bounced back a lot stronger before with a worse injury.
