The difference between the Laker game and the clippers game is that (even tho clippers still could be a great team compared to Lakers or not) raptors faced Lakers on a fresh leg brand new day, they face clippers with a tired and horrible Jetlag situation back to back after Lakers. It doesn't matter if it was Lakers or not, if they played clippers first and go to Lakers later they would have been losing to Lakers as well.

Obviously, we can't really know if they will actually lose or not but that just feels like would be the case considering everything that happened in the last 24 hours. Is this the first time Kawhi will play against raptors? I mean he playing in Los Angeles against raptors doesn't really have any importance because him going to Canada will be a great big deal but it is still an emotional thing for him I am sure.

After the Lakers, the Raptors team is going to face another powerhouse in the west (Clippers).

Clippers can take this one as it is also their home court and the Raptors could be a bit tired from their battle with the Lakers.
The defending champs might have that extra motivation to kick their former teammate's ass though.

Who is your pick?
This is a hard pick, Raptors did an impressive punishment to the Lakers today and we can't ignore that.

However, everyone won't deny how strong LAC is and the possible choice for this match.

To beat the lakers and clippers in back to back games wont be an easy task.  My money would be on the clippers.  I think Lowry is still out for the rapters, that's a big loss on their side.  With a rested clippers team at home I'd pick them.  I'd also put a wager on the over for this one as well.

They really played good against the Lakers, specially their defense, however, it seems they put everything in the like with that game and could be tired as you have said.

Who is your pick?

I will go with Clippers here, although they have the momentum, their body are all tired with that Lakers win and Clippers are well rested and are well prepared.

Clippers is obviously the favorite to win on that match, but -8.5 spread is a  bit high for the Clippers. I mean the Raptors are still in good shape with Siakam leading the stat sheet after Leonard left Toronto. They could still kick any team's ass with how they are playing early in this season. LeBron's less aggression offensively isn't even an excuse for the Lakers loss today. Raptors just showed how the champions work.

Probably I will bet on Raptors +8.5.

The raptors might be winning against the powerhouse clippers. Why? Because they have the momentum against high ranking team and Toronto was just fresh from their championship stint last season. So yeah it's more likely I will follow to bet on the raptors +8.5 this time around.

I do think that Clippers will win but I'm still contemplating on the spread.
I might also go for Raptors at +10.5 as I don't think Clippers will win by double digits.

If Raptors will not be tired in their game tomorrow, their is a high chance that they will cover that spread.

Remember that they just beat the Lakers and the Lakers home court, so its not a different story here, Lakers are Clippers are both team with the same level and actually Lakers was the better one based on their standings.

Last game by the Clippers, they win against the Blazers but it was only due to late rally, but that was only a 6 points win IIRC, this is +10.5

I will still go for Clippers here. They are purely rested and that is one advantage.
As you said, the Raptors might still be weary from the game against the Lakers and also it will not be their homecourt so that will add up to the exhaustion.

Raptors had been great with their games and I am actually shocked when I see them fight against strong teams.
But this is the Clippers now, they might knew how Kawhi play but that doesn't they can stop him for every play.

My pick is the Clippers because they are fresh, but I will bet on the Raptors @ +10.5 as they just beat the other LA team.

Who is your pick?

This is a back-to-back game for the Raptors. Definitely, fatigue will be a factor here and Clippers are fighting on their home turf. Too much advantage for the Clippers, so I am on Clippers on moneyline.

Anyways, the triple double for James does not have a big of a deal since he only score 13 points in more than 30 mins which is not a good output for a superstar like James.
Fans will accept that there are off nights even for a superstar. And a thriple double for an off night is quite impresive.

This is interesting because the Raptors are still a heavy underdog in this game, they are +10.5 playing in the same arena but they are playing b2b here.

James had triple double: 13 points, 15 assists and 13 rebounds.
This would be good if James gave a win to the team.
The Raptors proved that they still have the confidence of a champion and indeed they beat the best team in the West.

We disregard the Raptors, we thought they will not as competitive as in the past season but they are proving us wrong here.
What more I can say here, I'm just impressed and i like to extend my congratulations to the team.

Yeah the raptors handed the Lakers their second loss of the season. Anyways, the triple double for James does not have a big of a deal since he only score 13 points in more than 30 mins which is not a good output for a superstar like James.

But that 15 assist is quite impressive.

Impressive as what it's was but we are talking about LeBron here. We usually see him having the highest score in his team and leading them through victory. I guess this was his off night in terms of scoring and yes the season has just begun and it's too early to judge them by just one loss.

Luka has a better triple double as he can scored over 30 points in games where they don't struggle.
But this is just another loss of the Lakers, they are still a good team with only 2 loses at this time so far, for sure they will bounce back and from another winning streak.

But that 15 assist is quite impressive.

Not bad for Raptors, I'm an all time Lakers fan and really didn't expect that game with Toronto will be an unfortunate lose provided an home court advantage. Ive joined a betting competition as well, with a +9.5 for Toronto vs Lakers but still my pick is for La lakers. Anyway still a good game shown by the lakers indeed. Raptors has utilized also the points from bench players which was a whooping 43 total points.

Still salute A.Davis for leading the lakers team and wih help of triple double points of Lebron James though he hasn't score that much. Anyway is still to early I know Lakers will be one of the team to seat on finals games.
We seen how the bench help siakam to snatched this win against the Lakers, it's intense if that 2 attempt of Kuzma materialized chance for Lakers to comeback still be there. I just don't understand why the ref did not call Kuzma's layup his hands been hold not to execute the easy basket. That also can change the game tempo as Lakers are rallying and trying to muscles up to comeback. But credit really deserve by Raptors they show up strong and dedicated.

With 7 wins and 1 lose from 8 games Los Angeles Lakers will face Toronto Raptors with 6 wins and 2 loses in 8 games, it will be an exciting game to watch, the NBA champion will face the best team in this season and I expect the game will be soo hard for both teams. In my opinion Lakers will win this game and show the Raptors who's the boss, I will bet for Lakers to win this game.

Lakers in on a run right now and a lead leading 7-1 record. Although Raptors is the defending champ, but without Kawhi now, it's a different team.

They are back with the old roster, but still a contender for a playoffs. Of course Lakers will be the favourite here, with Lebron at the helm and their team chemistry is almost 100% now. I don't know what the odds are for the Lakers right now, but if it is not attractive, I would rather enjoy the game, just saying.

Looks like this is a good test for the Raptors, if they can win this game, they will prove that they are still the better team even without Leonard.
People are only looking this Raptor team a good team because of Leonard but they forget that Gasol also made a great contribution during the run, they are actually underrated right now and look at their record, they have an impressive start.

And they did: 104-113 Lakers - Toronto.

Good win for the defending champion Toronto here, Siakam had a good game and so is Van Fleet. I thought that Lakers are going to win this game because of the handicap, Lowry and Ibika not playing.

But a lot of bench players did provide big help for Toronto. James had triple double: 13 points, 15 assists and 13 rebounds.

Celtics played amazingly even without the Hayward part of the game, Spurs looked not good at all on offense. They were not good on defense neither, Dejounte came back this season and he did had some great games but he doesn't look like the old himself when he became an all-NBA defensive player, this dude is young and we can give him some slack to come back from a season long injury to become like he used to be.

Celtics plays better in all aspects according to my point of view. Spurs did good on their offense to be honest but it look like the opposite somehow because the other team overpowered them. Celtics got more accurate 3 point attempts, got more offensive rebounds (I believe so) and smoother gameplays Cheesy. When it comes to defense, it's very obvious who won, right? Of course the Celtics again because they got more steals and tons of blocks as well. Thus, I realized that they became stronger after Kyrie leave the team. Your thoughts? They only seems underrated, but all in all they are a very strong opponent!
