I don't even watch basketball often and I view this particular thread even less, but I too was extremely shocked when I first saw the TMZ news article about Bryant's death on Tweetdeck and then more and more confirmations rolling in as the minutes passed. He was an amazing and extremely influential person that me and my dad respected more than any other player in the NBA, and it's even more saddening for me being part of the sneaker community to see people disrespecting Bryant trying to profit from his death by buying up stock of his shoes and reselling them for higher prices. Truly something hard to believe still even hours afterwards.
Im so shock when I saw the news few hours ago, Kobe Bryant is one of the best Basketball player in the NBA in the last few years and one of My idol. I really miss him and for sure the NBA will sad and not expect that this happen to him. When I saw the saws the first things that I think is that is fake news because we know there is a lot of news who are not true. I really misa him!. 😥

There's only two NBA legend that I watched played and idolized, it's only MJ and Kobe, Lebron is good but I don't idolized him as greats because he can't take over in crucial minutes and give a team a win. Indeed this is a very sad news, everyone of us here are sad because of this surprising news, but we can't do anything but accept because life is never certain and death could come anytime. KOBE, you will be missed, though I haven't seen you personally but you are on the icons in sports that made a lot of fans happy with your career in the NBA.
