@Reid. Kahwi is not on that level and he might not reach that level, I reckon. It is hard.

Lebron is on that level, however, he will never be viewed as the best similar to how Michael Jordan is viewed as the best. Hard hehehe.

It can't be avoided that there are some comparison, Leonard is good because he won the championship 2 times already and until now he is still an underrated player. Maybe because he wasn't recognize as a star when he enters in the NBA unlike Lebron James that he knew already that he can be like Kobe when he first entered in the NBA.

Leonard is still 28 years old and he will continue to develop himself, and though he doesn't have a fancy moves like Lebron and Kobe, but look at his stats, he is so consistent, he come up clutch in different important occasions and that's the quality of a real star.

Jordan won his first ring at age 28, so there's something that we can compare with. However, we know that Jordan won 6 rings so I don't think that he can be in the discussion for the GOAT at this time. If he continues to win with Clippers then maybe just maybe we can compare him with the likes of Lebron James and Kobe Bryant.

All of Lebron's NBA Finals win happened because he pair with another NBA star or stars ,but Leonard did not choose an NBA star teammates, he played his game with whoever his teammates are and as we saw with the way he played with the Raptors, he does not demand the ball all the time, he trust his teammates, in short, he made the Raptors the best team in the NBA which was previously swept by team Lebron in the playoffs when he was still with the Miami Heat.

He didn't chose because he doesn't have the luxury, he was traded to after playing with Spurs and at that time he had the big 3, Duncan, Manu and Parker. However, since he has the bargaining power now chooses to move to a team with other star as well, Paul George. So that argument that he didn't choose star teammates is flawed. But I will give it to him for winning a ring in Toronto though. And that is why we can have a discussion about him being one of the best if he won another NBA ring with Clippers since that division is pretty stack up at this point.

Underrated or it might also be unproven. This season with the Clippers will show what kind of an effect Kahwi has on which team he plays.

We should not be influenced by the media hype. They are similar to bitcoin news media that hype ICOs hehehe.

Winning 2 championship is enough to prove that Kawhi is star caliber type of player, actually he can retire now and he will be remembered as one of the best players in the NBA. There are a lot of good players in the NBA, but most of them did not win a championship, this guy won 2 championship and was a Finals MVP on that win.

Under rated. That is correct. You know why?

I remember Kenyon Martin's interview about CP3.
There is a difference between a look of analyst than what is really happening in the locker room.
Same thing with what happened with Kawhi. He wasn't seen by analyst, specially ESPN.
So, who will hype his greatness? None.
Oh! But look at Lebron. Before he even came to NBA all the media and praises are unto him, red carpet on his way and throwing all the money at his walkway.
While Kawhi stay humble and still got to snatch 2 championships and yet until now, still no hype about him.
All are still on Lakers.

This time Lebron didn't get what he wanted, I don't understand why no team would sign Melo, I hope he is not black listed in the NBA teams yet.
I'm afraid out from his disappointment, he might leave the NBA and play in other league like Lin.
I don't think that he's blacklisted, the whole story about Melo hasn't come out. We might see something to come out within the next days on why he's struggling this much to get on a board with any team.

He's still trying to get in with any team but I think this has something to do with his demand of being a leader, well it's just my assumption. We are all feeling the same with his situation.

Oh well, we've got some drama out there. Royce White has expressed his thoughts about Carmelo Anthony being blackballed and he's pointed LBJ ignored that.

Former NBA player slams LeBron James, Lakers for signing Jared Dudley over Carmelo Anthony
Hope Melo will be picked by a team that will have make a great chemistry over its players, how about he back again at Denver and help those youngsters I guess that's make a great team. I am for sure there are teams that will get Melo or maybe by this news LBJ will pick him.
Many doesn't like his Melo but once a player has been empty and no team wants to catch him, we're starting to feel bad about them. While others were quick to judge LBJ, now it's getting clear.

If he makes another championship this year, that would make him a GOAT for me.
I like him humbleness and this guy is so focus, he is a silent type who is a killer inside the court, but maybe he wasn't getting much appreciation when they won the championship is because the Warriors are playing without Durant and Klay Thompson in the last game, that's a big loss of the Warriors since both are part of the starting line up, he needs to prove again this year playing with the LA Clippers.

It would take more than two championships before Kawhi Leonard can got into the NBA Goat talk, he did carry the Toronto Raptors for sure in the Finals and win the champions with a underdog team but he didn't stuck out to the team and gave it another shot to defend their title. Now he is just partnering up with Paul George on even a stronger team which means if he wins a championship for second in the row now it's just like Kevin Durant winning a championship with the Warriors for me as he would take the easier rout compared to what he had with the raptors.

I think it was more due to Lebron being injured and not seen as the alpha in that team. I mean we are talking about Lebron bringing Cavs team to finals just two years ago and last year he wasn't capable of bringing Lakers to playoffs. Do you really think that was because of Lebron himself not playing well?

Lebron could bring any team to finals even on west conference but you have to give him the ability to actually rule the team, if he can do that than he can actually basically be like playing nba2k20 with the players on the court. Lakers young core wasn't ready for that so they screwed up and now they are gone of course. This year it will be much better because they have players like AD and Danny Green who will be much better for Lebron, Rondo was great too, shame Cousins got injured, that would have been awesome too.

Aside from his poor attitude which is pretty obvious in the case of his upcoming movie and how he act every time he disagree to his coach during their conference games, what I hate him fhe most is the fact that he proclaiming himself as the real goat Roll Eyes. Unlike MJ or Kobe (who is a better player for me) which remains humble all the time.
I'm not a LeBron fan but I really admire the man, he's really helping on poor people, has the same chick and married his high school sweetheart, no criminal records. It's really hard to talk about who's the real goat and who's not. Since playing on a different era comes with playing a different style of basketball. Early age of basketball, Mid-range shots are the best, now is the three. It means that the league is practically changing its rules and playstyle Wink.

Noah is done, broke down.  He used to be great, 5 years ago.  Look at his time (or lack of time) on the knicks.  I would stay away from old vets that route never works.  I'd stick with what they got and get an undrafted rookie that scraps.
I would also prefer that Lakers sticks to what they have now but they are still looking for another help. With regards to vets, it sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Alonzo Mourning and Jason Kidd were both helpful when they won their only championship late in their careers.
If the mentality of such vet is aiming for the title they will influence the team with inspiration and not for trying to be inside and done nothing, vet can help the coaches in whatever changes from the play if it's needed especially on a crucial situations, maturity and dedication when you pick deserving veterans inside your bench, hard to pick though as there's a lots of options that they can take while the time it's getting nearer.
They don't need a lot of vet, Lebron James alone is enough because he won many championships already and in the playoffs, he usually hold the ball and make plays. Lebron just need a consistent player who can fill their roles, and whether they'll get Noah or Howard, it doesn't matter anymore, as long as both will play the way they showed in the best games of their career.

I agree...they already have the vets they need. Honestly I dont know how people think Noah will help in anyway, he would probably be 14 or 15th man on the bench.  This isn't 2012, lol.  He might get 5-10 minutes a game tops and that's if he can stay healthy which he hasn't in years.

it worked out in Miami but it didn't work out in LA. Was it because of the attitude of the young core or The King himself? I think that both sides are to blame.
I don't think that was because of the attitude, that is mainly because of the lack of talent.
Most of the teams that Lebron had success playing with, are teams with at least one NBA superstar on it, and with the Lakers, there's no superstar, so he had to work on his own to carry the team, plus he got injured and miss many games, that's why they drop from the playoff ranking.

Totally agreed. LeBron is the team player and he makes his teammates better but the most important thing is: do these players really want to get better under him?

It worked out in Cleveland twice (Kyrie wouldn't be THE Kyrie without LeBron, K-Love would've dreamed of playoffs without LeBron), it worked out in Miami but it didn't work out in LA. Was it because of the attitude of the young core or The King himself? I think that both sides are to blame.

Still wondering if Seattle will ever get a team again, I've heard that the NBA has been considering expanding to 32 teams and is eyeing Seattle and Las Vegas as potential locations.  Nothing against OKC but it is dumb they represent the supersonics history for records.
I haven't heard of this news, but I was an old NBA fan and I was able to see the Seattle team playing in the past.
USA is a big state, they should add more to bring more talent and more opportunity for the Athlete, maybe if that would happen, this could give a chance for those NBA players who were not able to get a contract yet to be given an opportunity, like Melo.

If Melo wants to lead a team, he should lead this new NBA team, LOL..
