The fact that the Lakers got AD from the Pelicans trade, without a doubt, Lakers definitely win it all. Ball and Ingram are still developing their skills and are relatively young, they still dont have the mentality of becoming a champion. While Lebron is absolutely looking for another ring, so as AD is looking for his first one.
If the Pelicans keep this roster for the next 3 to 5 years, then I can say they can really have a shot to win a ring, of course with Zion's leadership.

Pelicans will develop but it will take time as they still have to earn experience to be matured enough during the playoffs.
When Davis was drafted with the Pelicans, I thought the pelicans were a great contender, they improve their line up by adding star players like Rondo, and Cousins but still failed as they got dominated by the warriors every time, but this time that Davis is already with the Lakers, he will make sure he and Lebron will beat the best team in the NBA.

There is no sense to compare Fall to Zion for an obvious reason mate, Undrafted vs Top overall pick.

Fall will officially play to Boston's newly acquired G-League team as part of developing him. A good chance to improve himself if ever he will come back to the NBA. The fact that no team drafted Fall during the NBA draft is proof that the majority of teams see that he is not ready yet to the official action in the NBA. NBA team scouts are professional and strict but still Fall doesn't meet their criteria despite his height advantage. There is more room for improvements that's why Celtics wants to develop him.

Fall might get more minutes in their upcoming pre-season match again the Cavaliers since their starters won't be present. Good opportunity to him to showcase more of his skills compare to past game where he only got limited minutes even for a pre-season game.

I do agree.
But just like you said these guys are still young, they can build it up and somehow make it to a championship someday.
I am not saying it will be now. I just want us to see that they have a good roster now that could have a possibility to enter the playoffs if done right.
Just like the roster of the Lakers, they also have a good 2nd stringer team. Grin

Zion W. will be the center of Pelicans this season, very athletic and has the potential to be the next big superstar in the NBA.

However, Taco with his height, could be a good contribution to the Celtics as well. That if he will be given time to play and show his skills otherwise, he will be just a regular tall and lanky guy in the NBA. If he will be given quality minutes, I'm sure he will take advantage of it, maybe we can see him play more in defense though, blocking sides, changing shots of the opposing team and of course take the easy rebounds.

Yeah he Zion is much better because of his athleticism, but what Fall has is his humongous hight advantage which can make his opponents hesitate in taking the shot.

I am proud to say that I am the first one to vote for the poll.
I voted for the Golden State Warriors to be the champion this coming season because I trust the old warriors and I believe Curry might become MVP this season.

Some might overlooked the Warriors because they are too focus with the improvement of 3 good teams in the west but they forgot that the Warriors has already build a system and they trust each other, as Curry is expected to drop more points this season, his stats will improve and as long as they stay in a good ranking when Thompson return, they can surely get into playoffs and will still be one of the toughest team to beat.

He was signed as far as a know into a two way contract, meaning he will play for Celtics or spend 45 days with the Celtics and then go back to Maine Red Claws after that. So it really depends on that 45 days, if we are going to see him play in Celtics uniform and see how he contributes, maybe that two way contract could turn into a one or two year contract.

There may be some ways to surpass that guy right? Who doesn't want that?
He is still a young player which will have much experience if he can avoid injuries and that may also be the key into reigning the NBA floor.
The game is way different by now and it aint about muscles anymore.
The better shooter you are the higher the chances you will become a superstar. If he could just improve every year without a fight then maybe, just maybe he could make it to the all-star.

With the Lakers current roster is a championship contender. I predict they'll be 60-22 this season. There will another air-tight competition in the Western conference again as the teams are still tough.
I'll be placing most of my bets in this two LA teams.
