On the other hand, 76ers and Raptors finished the first round series already as they got the win against the Nets and Magic. The two will face on the next round. Whose your bet against the two Cheesy

This is a tough match. Both teams are performing very. This could go either way but my bet is it will be game 7 with raptors on the top.

Home court advantage gives the Raptors an advantage but I feel like 76ers has a good chance in this series, they have more talents compared to the Raptors. This could be another exciting match, and I'm predicting this game will be a long series, 6 or 7 in favor of the Sixers.
Talent wise, if Sixers will continue how they've shown previously the advantage of deeper bench will give them the edge, the series might end 6 or 7 games  as both team will push harder to stay and  continue their quest, in the other side, if Leonard and lowry will show their presence and playoffs
experiences, they do have the chance, without Lebron now from the East every team now is well balance to represent the eastern conference finals.

There is just one thing I am worried about. It is the Embiid injury.
Although it might equal with Toronto when the Kawhi injury also comes out.

But the game will not be that better anymore.
Embiid just got back and I feel like he is forcing himself. You could see how he really want to get the championship. He doesnt care about anything anymore but just to win the game.

I am hoping for Butler to work it out too. It seems like Tobias Harris is more aggressive now than him.
On the other hand. Siakam might be the key for the Raptors. Spped wise, shooting and his offensive awareness needs to be on full blast.

This is a good match up as both team have their own stars.
Lowry should be scoring, when he is doing well they have better chance to win the game, it cannot be Leonard alone as the Sixers is very strong from inside and outside, I think they have the size.

There are many interesting match up with these two teams. Embiid against Gasol and Ibaka, Simmons against Siakam maybe or Leonard

Anyway, home court advantage in on the side of the Raptors. This series is more exciting because both of them are performing good in their previous series. I think I will go for the Raptors for these series in 6-7 games Cheesy.

MOnster game for Damian Lillard, 50 points and a buzzer beater at the end of the game ending OKC's playoff campaign. He is the man. OKC has the lead but blew it off in the last minute. That was a good game.

He was making incredible matches in the regular season but I think that he will be among the MVP of the playoffs if he still continues this amazing performance in the next matches that are about to come.
Also, the second round of playoffs is very promising and we will see interesting matches because top-notch players.
With MVP race for the regular season, he's far behind as Harden, Giannis, Curry, Durant are those big names who can bring this one out, he made his monstrous job today as he's still the main man of the blazers after Aldridge transferred to spurs, with an amazing lineup behind him they can possibly have a chance winning the semis against whoever wins between Spurs and Nuggets,.
They have a chance of course because this team is underrated, in fact I believe in their series that just ended, they are not the favorites despite having the home court advantage, because people think they can't compete well with Nurkic, but they prove them wrong, they did will and even dominate the OKC in a 4-1 series.

There is no playoffs MVP, only Finals MVP, and for him to achieve that, he be a champ in the west, an MVP could be coming
from the winning or losing team in the NBA finals, but it's very rare to see an MVP from a losing team, so it's a tough job for them to be an NBA Champ.

He shoot it way far from the three point line. He is confident enough to do that shot and his confidence paid off. History repeats itself as he did this again against the Rockets in 2014 Cheesy. Anyway, nice game to the Thunder. My prediction is wrong in this. I predicted OKC in 6 games but they lose in 5 Cheesy.

Even during the regular season, he is already shooting at that range. Him and Steph Curry are the two players I have seen doing it. Westbrook can trash talk all he wants, but Lillard has the last laugh.

It's very hard to predict, but I would say that it will be stretch to 7 games, 76ers for me.  Grin

Led by 3 games to 1, scored tie, that was really a confident shot.

Overall the game was close. Westbrook even at 29 points showed worst percentage shooting. Damn that was a hell of bad game, not just on that game, but on their previous games. Noticed also the lacks of foundation from the supporting casts.

Damn OKC, I speculate that game will be ended at least @Game 6 or 7 by them. Paul George does have a good performance all throughout the season and Blazers missed their big guy, Jusuf Nurkić.

Kudos to Damian Lillard and the whole Blazers team. Their last appearance at conference semi-finals was way back 2015-2016.

Yeah, that was s stellar performance by Lillard, his shooting is very efficient especially the in the first half.
I was watching the game live thinking OKC could win this one and they actually have a good run leading big but the Blazers rally and give them a hurtful loss to end the series.

He also did score 34 first half point, the most by any player since Nash did it in 2005. And what made it spectacular is that it was a comeback win and they are down in the fourth but they didn't give up and now they are going to the next round. Good win w/o Nurkic.

Closing out games today.

Raptors defeated Magic 115-96. Kawhi Leonard scored 27 points and Pascal Siakam added 24 points. They showed another good defense, limiting their opponents below 100 mark. They will not host 76'ers in round 2.

76'ers also closed out the Nets 122-100 setting up a series with the Raptors. It was the big 3 of Sixers that do the damage, Joel Embiid finished with 23 points and 13 rebounds, Simmons and Harris finished with 13 points and 12 points respectively.

Thunder and Trailblazers is on a exciting match. Portland is just down 8 point with 4 minutes left.

They should stop talking about Lebron and focus their attention on how Giannis perform well this playoffs  Smiley.
Giannis played well on this conference and they are now moving to the next bracket against Boston Celtics. I'm not an analyst regarding rosters and teams but base on the stats, these two swept Indiana and Detroit.

Awhile ago, I bet with Golden State Warriors.. sure win.. hehe  Tongue

The playoffs are underway and ESPN won't stop talking about Lebron and the Lakers.  Do people really care this much?  It must be bringing in higher ratings for them or they wouldn't be doing it.

Yeah quite annoying right? And if you think about it, there's as much lebron haters as those who idolize him and they want lebron out of the playoffs and they got what they asked for. The current matchups are interesting as they are and i don't think the nba needs lebron for their ratings and sales no. Lebron drama should have been left in the regular season.

Lebron will come back strong the next season, this time give the young fella some recognition, Lebron is the king but he has fallen this season.
Harden vs Giannis is a good topic than Lebron, because these two are the closest rival to be MVP this season, and might face the NBA finals, who knows.

Sorry, GSW fans.... Tongue
