And thats how Klay separates from real superstars. He's ability is limited to only pure shooting skills, if he's having an off-night, he cant do nothing to help his team get the W.

I disagree, Curry also have an off night when he is locked down by his defender but they are lucky to win some games.

Seems like we don't notice how improve the Portland TrailBlazers this season, they have improve their defense inside and the back court duo of Lillard and C. J. McCollum are blending well, they are moving the ball well, and shoot outside with great percentage, and we should also note
that some of their players even big man are shooting well in the 3 point spot.

I disagree as well. Klay Thompson is a better defensive player than Curry so he can contribute in the defensive side as well. It's just his on a off-night and he can't do anything and definitely he vent his frustrations. Lillard and C. J. McCollum on the other hand is clicking I saw some youtube interviews of the two and it seems they're really focus to bring Portland to the next level.

Well, thats just my opinion and views towards Klay, besides, there were couple of defensive players around his team, so that makes him less noticable on that end.
While on the other hand, Portland is a team that really has something to prove in the playoffs.  Lillard and CJ is a perfect compliment for each other.

Yep, the Lilard and CJ tandem is a perfect match for Portland. As for Klay, of course his main weapon is his outside shooting but his defense is sometimes underrated. He play good defense in my opinion. I wouldn't say elite though, as others may have suggested, but he has a good perimeter defense.

As for the Team World vs Team USA, I'll go with Team World here.

Tomorrow is the Rising Stars Challenge, who do you think will win and why?

Team world vs Team US, team US are the favorite in all sports book.
I'm with the Team World, Luka Doncic and Ben Simmons fan boy. <3

For team USA, Lonzo Ball is currently injured.

Bogdan Bogdanovic, Luka Doncic and Ben Simmons will lead Team World.

But Team USA is pretty solid as well with Kyle Kuzma, Donovan Mitchell, Jayson Tatum and Trae Young so even without Lonzo Ball they can still win, so I go with Team USA here.  Grin
Doncic will show hell of a performance against the Team USA. But I'm still going with the Team World, both teams are solid.

But it's more exciting to take my bet with Team World.

Doncic would easily be one of the stars. Averaging at least 20 points, it is definitely increasing the contributes in Dallas. I know he will be talented enough to push his team to victory.

Let's not forget Lauri Markkanen. Bulls are not really taking off but he has improvements to his shooting rates. I think with the next games he will do, he is getting pumped and maybe continue scoring in the game itself. Maybe filling the support that he needs.

I dont know if its just me but the All Star week has become the most boring event in the NBA. I'd choose the regular game week over the All-Stars. Talking about the Rising Star challenge, I think team World got this.. they have Ben Simmons, Lauri Markkanen,  Bogdan Bogdanović and the  main man, Luka Doncic. Team USA has Kyle Kuzma, Donovan Mitchell, Jayson Tatum but they all have the same game style. I'd say its not wise to gamble on All Star weekend as the players themselves dont take the even seriously. So, anything could happen. If I had to put my money on it, I'd say team world. Worth the odds.

Thanks for your honest opinion, team world it is, they have a more matured player and Luka will be playing for the world, how sensational this player is.
I think team US is just overrated, why the hell they are the favorites in this game but it's not something to complain if you are a gambler.
You'll pick whoever give you a winning chance with the odds of the team world, it's good to gamble with the dog.

Great game for the Minnesota Timberwolves yesterday, they have actually defeated the Houston Rockets 121 - 111.  Even without two of their starters (Wiggins and ROCO) their replacement work well for them especially Okogie who contributed mostly in defense. I like what I am seeing on him he could really be the starter for the team compared to Andrew Wiggins.

One bad game can't define how good the player was, it's not because thompson got his off night means he's no longer effective, great players
always been there when they needed the most, GSW players are just same with  others, they are also getting tired and need some breaks,
a sorry lost to a new build stronger team.

Seeing how Lilard and McCollum adjust and really blending well, plus the team who have a balance stats.

There's a lot of drama in GSW lost. Steve Kerr was ejected, Cousins didn't play and the management just decided to rest him, Green was called for a flagrant foul on Collins, and then there was some words thrown between Collins and Klay.

It was a tight game until Portland out scored them in the 4th canto, 35-12. Portland snapped GSW's five game winning streak, before the all-star-break.

And aside from that, so unusual to see that Warriors only made 12 points from the last quarter after a quiet close game from 1st to 3rd. Even bench players in a garbage time are not like that.

Thats right, its very unusual to see an offensive team scored less than 20 in a quarter.

well then, it's an off-night performance and that is common even for a dominant team. Klay Thompson only at 9 points but still Curry and Durant made an impressive performance with both 30+ points.

I don't know when Kanter left Knicks, I knew he was on the trade block and was looking to go to another team with trade but didn't know there was a buyout. Portland got him and that is a great deal for Portland because now they have Nurkic and Kanter on the low post which means no one can play small ball against them since both of those guys would bully the smaller guys. Portland has always been a decent power but never too good. They do have the power to beat warriors as we have seen today but at the same time they could definitely get destroyed as well, they are definitely one of the most inconsistent teams out there.

The game that got my attention is between Brooklyn Nets and Cleveland Cavaliers.

They went on a triple overtime and the final score is 148-139 Brooklyn Nets. That was really an insane scoring with a total of 287 points especially between a 6th against the 14th in the East.

Warriors had a blowout loss today losing to Portland 107-129. Trailblazers had good contribution from the whole roster with NINE players in double digits and Lillard scoring 29 points on top of it. On the other hand, just Durant and Curry managed to reach double digits scoring 32 each.
Nice game hustle for the Trailblazers, props to them. It is very rare to see a solid line up like GSW get beaten in a game, and take note, with a double digit lead. Anyway, if Durant and Curry are the players who carry the team then what happened to Thompson? Hmm, it seems that he is not so lucky today lol, what a very unusual scenario Grin. (Sorry I wasn't able to watch their game)

Warriors win again last night? Roll Eyes
They havent had their usual blow out games and only won by 2 points against miami the other night and 7 points versus utah yesterday.
Can portland finally put an end to their winning streak tonight.
Somebody has got to beat them soon. Because it is just getting ridiculous. Undecided

Actually it aint ridiculous. It came already from you.
They won only by 2points against Miami Heat then 7 with Utah. That means they can be beaten with more effort.

Teams are getting stronger now. I want to see them against 76ers next. With their new addition, it will be a great fight.
Embiid and Boogie getting physical again and with their new big man addition of Tobias Harris. Both can now make spaces since both have 3 pointers in their line ups. Harris against Durant both can do 3's, Klay against Redick.
The good thing is also both Embiid and Boogie can shoot the three.
I will be betting for Philly if ever it will happen with both healthy roster.
Warriors against Raptors would be great as well. Marc Gasol now into their line up and he seems to be rejuvenated. They are just giving the ball to him when he's on the floor and he's working his magic under the post. Raptors have good outside shooting as well so they cant really cheat and double team him.
