San Antonio Spurs doesn't have a room for Melo. They are already done finalizing their lineup. They will not target any players now in free agency nor do trades prior entering the 2019-20 season.

So Carmelo Anthony also turned down by the Team USA? He tried to join but denied. It will completely make him feel more down plus the status he is facing this free agency.

The reason why does make sense and I agree to that. He will just destroy the momentum of the current Team USA lineup.

Should now serve a lesson for Melo to changed his behavior. He only has few seasons to go before hanging his jersey. Why just now he is determined to get back on the stage. Looks like he surely thinks that NBA teams will always seek for his service but turned out negative.

I don't think salary is an issue here, Melo will take the veteran minimum for sure, he can realize that nobody wants him and he got paid enough already so he is just gonna get paid the minimum he can get and be the 8th man on that team in minutes, will try his hardest to be a locker room camper and he will just try to play another 3-4 seasons.

I still think the best place for Melo to go would be Spurs, they usually have a mid-range game when starting because Derozan and Aldridge both play mid-range and Dejounte is not a lights out shooter neither so the game is not spaced out anyway so they have a strategy for that, if they bring in Melo as a bench for when SF changes (gay would probably be started but Derozan will move there most of the game when white and Murray plays together at guards) he could at least keep that mid range momentum going and who else than Popovich to actually tame a player.

Many players don't care about winning rings, they are already getting paid millions of dollars each year to play a game. If that was my life I would be free of worry and would be so thankful I woundn't care much about winning a championship.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they moved on from that issue. Hell that was 3 years ago. They gotta move on. I mean, moving on, on that issue remember the all star game? The lob to brooks? That made it up, I guess.

Regarding to James Harden, he said that he knows how to play with Russ and Russ knows how to play with him. It's a win-win and probably Russ is the 'action' James Harden figured out on summer when he was interviewed on their 2018-2019 drought games(failing to win).

Injuries.
Did you know that Iggy was forcing those games in the Finals. It is like all bad omens came into the Warriors and they began falling down. Iggy injured, Curry still got that finger injury, then Durant then Klay.
So how do you think a defense chemistry can be done with all of that, add up the state of mind they are into seeing their comrades having a bad Finals game.

All Warriors core players have seen struggling last finals, not just Igoudala.

I don't understand why people think of Iggy that highly even after last season. Dude didn't manage to slow down any of the players he faced against and Kawhi cooked him easily, dude is basically a bench player that can't get decent minutes anymore. That Curry-Klay-Iggy-Durant-Dray lineup wasn't as effective as it used to be and any effect it had came from playing those 4 amazing players together.

I am not saying Iggy is worse than Melo and not saying he is better neither but from individual stand point without putting Melo into this topic I can clearly say that Iggy is well beyond his time to make any difference in Lakers. Melo would be team chemistry dude that Lebron loves to hang out maybe, that could be the only positive for him and I think his playing would be limited but Iggy doesn't even have that.

Give me chills to see Vince player still playing in the league for more than 22 years in the league. Damn, I still remember his slam dunk contest and I still vividly remember that because I was in the States watching it in tv. So that makes me what today 4x years old today, lol.

I think it will be his last stop with the Hawks. He can still play and contribute to the team but as far as getting a ring? I doubt he can get it, but still his memories will live for those who have witnessed his greatness at his prime.

That's still a reasonable amount for a veteran who does not have to play a lot of minutes, it's most likely his popularity is getting paid for, and I'm pretty sure that investment will have a good ROI since he could attract the crowd. He is just an intelligent player to last that long season in the NBA and he has really improve his 3 point shooting and he can step up whenever he is called for the team to help.

Yes, still millions and for someone who has his prime past that amount is considerably good.

If we can just get to the back where he is always surprising us with each of his game, well those days are gone but hoping the best for him on this season.

If giving them a chance Iggy is one of those best pick to be added from the team, It will bring good defensive weapon plus the fact that Iggy also is a good offensive player if the team needed him to operate then he'll be able to deliver, Lakers will be more entertaining to watch if the coaching staff will be able to work things out with this new squad.
