A lot of analystare saying GSW will be on playoffs but never a Finals.
Zero percent. That is what they are speculating.
Do you agree with that?

Yes the West is filled with strong teams but yet let us not forget the greatness of Curry. He is still in his prime and a 2 time MVP.

Lakers might have Lebron and AD but who else do they have after that? Their roster is a whack and it cannot be done by just two players.
If Kawhi will sign on Toronto or Clippers then it will be a good balance.
Nah, I don't agree with those analysts that tells that GSW will never make it to the finals again. They have lost the finals but they aren't too old enough to be gone out of the league. I agree with you that Curry is still on his prime and he can still perform well.

No more super teams. Which means? Betting games will be unpredictable.
Not yet sure about that, there's still enough time for the teams to announce and sign contracts with their trade players.

Hopefully, things will be turned out like that. We need more competitive teams and not a landslide.

Prior to the 2018-19 season, Warriors have a line of just @1.5 at the opening NBA Future bets. What a heck. 82 games to be played with but Warriors were already given a low odds at the start. See how the NBA was closed to being predictable or should I say, we can just only pick a few teams to become a contender. And in the end, Toronto Raptors, which I think has an odds @80+ or @100 if I'm not mistaken, sealed the championship last season. Who will try to bet on that team on the NBA Futures in the first place?

If any other team got Durant and Kyrie together they would have been championship contender whereas nets manage to be at best second round team with them.

That is not just that.

It is a good boost to the confidence of this players.
They got 2 of the best players in the NBA and even though Durant is not playing for this year Kyrie will give a lot of impact for the team.
Brooklyn Nets for this year will be a Kyrie show.

Let us not forget also the winner of the 3 point contest. Joe Harris.
If he can give a lot of space for Kyrie to penetrate the paint (which he is good at) then it will be an easy offense for them.
I am just intrigued on how good their plays will be with their new additions.

I have realized everyone talked about how Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant could be beasts on Brooklyn and how Brooklyn despite giving all their future picks and making a huge mistake with the Boston trade managed to turn the ship around without tanking too hard like some other teams.

However, Kevin Durant is out for the season plus who do they have that could potentially be any threat aside from Kyrie and Durant?

I mean they got Deandre Jordan as well and maybe Jarett Allen will learn more from him and Dinwiddie is still a decent player but none of them are enough to fight against the 4 horseman of east with bucks-raptors-sixers-celtics, they will at best be the 5th best team on playoffs and either will be eliminated on the first round or maybe go to second round at best case. That is not turning the ship around, that is just getting a bit better by acquiring amazing 2 players. If any other team got Durant and Kyrie together they would have been championship contender whereas nets manage to be at best second round team with them.

This is just sad.

Not because of Curry's effort to go to China to meet Durant, its because he respects Durant's decision. If you all will be reading the article, Curry went to China not to talk about his decision but it is his respect to Durant. These two made the Warriors great with their teammates, I think it is really natural for a great teammate to spend some time, some last times before saying their goodbyes as teammates.
I can project the attitude of Steph. He's a real teammate and he gives value to KD and I guess it's also for his other teammates but it's not just publicized.
Change is constant for everything and these two will be part of the Golden State Warriors history streak.

I think it's pretty obvious that Curry did take a back seat when Durant join the Warriors. He didn't mind that because both of them are chasing for the ring, so yes, he is a real team mate, in and out of the court.

Time to move on then, they have separated in a good and professional manner. I don't know about Green though, he was vocal about Durant will leave the team and they have clash inside the court. But being professional, for sure it's nothing personal.

But GSW will be Steph Curry's team, and not Durant felt that he is under appreciated not by the GSW management but by the fans itself. They won 2 championship, he was a 2 time NBA finals MVP but still the love still goes to Steph. And then there was the case of Draymond and Durant clash and then the final straw is the injury he suffered. For me regardless if they win another ring for a three peat, Durant will eventually leave GSW.
Nothing can be sure if Durant will leave if they did able to get that three peat.I highly amazed on what Curry did there, showing respect for team mates decision,no hates or any other fuzz and the thing they had achieved on last 3 seasons wont really be forgotten but well time pass us by and we all need to move on forward for an another step to make.

^^ The core team of Golden State is still intact, so I think they're still a force to reckon in the West. Maybe we can see the old Steph Curry who will lead the team again in the Finals.

I also agree that their will be some sort of balance on both division. So we still doesn't know how Bron and AD will perform, and we won't see KD in Nets uniform this year. And we do hope that Giannis will be healthy.

I remember that he bought a massive house in LA, hmm. But let's see what team he will go when the season starts.

https://www.latimes.com/business/realestate/hot-property/la-fi-hotprop-kawhi-leonard-rancho-santa-fe-home-20190124-story.html

This one could be the basis of some rumors that Leonard is gonna sign with the Lakers.
Usually people will think that he will live in that place since he bought a house and Leonard is a family man he want to stay a place with his family where they could stay forever if possible, Toronto Canada is not his place actually, I think even if he leaves, the Raptors fans would understand him.

Teams aren't loyal so it is no surprise that they got ride of Andre Iguodola.  People think the Lakers were loyal to Kobe by letting him retire a Laker but the only reason they did that is because he was still filling up the seats in Staples Center.  People don't pay to come watch Iggy play and he is an aging player.

The story behind Iggy is different from what happened to other teams.

What is the connection of aging player, filling seats lol? So if Iggy will remain, there will be fewer tickets now that will be sold every time the Warriors will play? That aging player you talking is making $14m-17m a year. If you know what's that mean, then you should understand why Iguodala was placed on the trading list besides the fact that he is the only worthy player that Warriors can trade.

I suggest you to go back to the Kevin Durant's signing in Brooklyn Nets.

Lost of premature reports today about Kawhi. That's why even it's not intentional on the part of Kawhi, people take it again as he is starting to create a drama again lol. People should relax a bit and just wait patiently for progress.

I actually like that Kahwi is delaying his decision and taking all the time he wants. If he gets more by doing that, then so be it, he deserves it. I wouldn't mind if he announces it on the very last day  Grin It just shows that he doesn't give a sh*t about all these media hypes.

Exactly, he has worked so hard last season so I think he deserve the respect. Maybe he has a lot of offers right now and choosing not just the salary but where he and his family will be comfortable with.

I'll be happy to whichever team he will choose to play, this guy deserves some big respect and recognition and whichever team he will play, I will believe that they have a chance of becoming a championship team, and to be more excited, I'll probably gonna put a bet in the NBA futures once it's live.

Discredit for what? Do we have an official source stating that Iggy has been discredited by the Warriors itself or some post by people in the social media or it's just a self-opinion?

---

Don't see anything like that. Even on the most toxic page about NBA, I didn't saw any post or comments regarding Iguodala being discredited. He is a humble player to the point that I can't see the involvement of his name every time fans are arguing between Warriors and other teams. Maybe you just saw few so it's not a big deal after all and just ignored it.
I'm talking about the fans not the management mate. If you have read the past posts that I replied, the credits were just given to the superstars excluding Iguodala for the championships that they've made.

It's about their reinvention everytime there's an event like this. They were about to get the title for the last season but they think it's best for them to take a trade.

Let's accept this fact happens in NBA and other leagues.

Sad truth that even the players did there best and give everything to show love on this sport, franchise will still take care of the business, letting go of the players is no longer important right now as they need to make sure that fans will be at the teams back.

Iggy was there when warriors starting the journey to the finals, he's been named as finals MVP back then, but again it will just ends up as business, warriors needs to adjust.
I'm also sad when I heard and read about that but then like what others said, it's a business. For sure if Iggy will retire and request into Warriors, pretty sure they will give him a one day contract. He is part of GSW era and made a good contribution for the team but Warriors move is surprising. No one knows it was coming.

He has most of his wonderful experience with the Warriors, and he won a Finals MVP guarding Lebron in the NBA finals, that's a big achievement to him.
But things has to change and we should also accept this, players are aging and not playing as aggressive as they used, so Warriors needs to find a solution for this.

If he was able to stop Leonard last NBA finals, maybe we will not see this news now.
