Him and James Harden can't co-exist

I agree, I can even make an argument that no star could co-exist alongside Harden under D'Antoni's offense. Unless of course, you are willing to stand up in the corner/wing and jack up 3s while Harden has been dribbling for 20 seconds already.  Grin

Now on the trade, if Sam Presti and the Thunder are indeed ready to move on and rebuild their team, they would want from Houston multiple 1st round draft picks and a third team to pick/absorb CP3's huge $124m contract (lol good luck with that).

As a realistic destination for Westbrook, I can see that being Miami.
Harden and Westbrook was able to achieved the west finals together with KD before, putting them together might be a big  question with chemistry, both players wanted to hold the ball and even plays will be created for the team their individuality will be there when playing inside the court, it's hard to blend two superstars when mentality is about individual capabilities.

That's good destination for him, playing along with Butler would make them a good duo as Butler does not demand the ball all the time but this guy can make a difference when he is called to make a play especially when Westbrook is shooting 5-25  Embarrassed or even worst.

There are rumors that Russell Westbrook is heading to the Houston Rockets and seeing the situation I would say it's possible to happen. Like Westbrook and Paul George Chris Paul and Harden does not have the best of relationship after the season as ended and I could see that one of them (most likely Paul) would be traded away as the main centerpiece of the trade in exchange for Westbrook. This might not be the only power change we will see in the West and Houston might be another improved contender for the Championship.
Huh really? that is going to be one of the worst decision of Westbrook if he opted to go to Houston. Him and James Harden can't co-exist, two ball hog players, who just love to boost their statistics for personal reason, nah I doubt it will happen. We have seen CP3 and Harden clash, it will be much worst when Westbrook and Harden, more drama in the locker room for sure.

I don't even know if this two are aiming for the finals. Statistics can boost their advertisement to other teams, they will be forever in the NBA records but how about their team? I am so annoyed on how Westbrook play, and wehn someone pointed out that Harden is also like this I was pissed. Jeremy Lin has his championship, while these two is still playing for their records.

Clippers made the playoffs without a legitimate Superstar on their team. Adding two superstars, both a two-way player, definitely shoots their chance for a title up.
Yep, sure they can and this is totally awesome to see a superstar comes to them and that's not just a superstar but the recently crowned MVP just won the championships.

Many will eye for Clippers for this season.

That's for sure and that is because of Leonard, I believe PG is a good teammate, and I have a feeling that they will have a good chemistry with Leonard.
PG's performance last season was really good, they would have beat the Blazers if Westbrook was consistent, but now he teamed up with a consistent player like Leonard, so let's see.
I also think that they will be having a good tandem. I never heard any issues of PG13 with his former teammates and wherever he goes, he's good and intact.

We will see their tandem soon, I can't wait as everyone starts to take their eye on their preferred teams.

Having Westbrook in Houston will hurt the team rather than improve it. OKC is in the right to rebuild now that Paul George is out of the team. And trading Westbrook is the right move. But I do not think that it is a good fit for Westbrook to go to HOU. Rockets already have a ball hog in their team, and adding another ball dominant player is a disaster.

Clippers didn't become playoff contenders, they were already in playoffs, they took warriors without injuries to 6 games, nobody played the uninjured warriors except clippers.

With this two trades they became championship contenders for sure, I am not saying they will be champions but at least we know for a fact that there is no team that can easily beat clippers, yeah it can go to 7 games or 6 games or have a very difficult over time games and what not and eventually clippers may lose, that is a possibility but nobody can sweep clippers. Lakers between got bunch of great additions, rondo is back, cook came in, cousins came and of course my favorite ; Danny green is in Lakers now. Considering they missed out on Kawhi and had to wait a lot during free agency, it was a great roster fill up by them.

I can't disagree with Clippers becoming championship contenders after they acquired Kawhi and Paul.

Lebron James
Kyle Kuzma
Anthony Davis.
Javale McGee
Danny Green
Rajon Rondo
Quinn Cook
Kentavious Caldwell Pope
Jared Dudley
Demarcus Cousins.

Let us see how this guys will work it out.
I think the addition of Danny Green made the difference here. They got a decent starting 5 in James, Davis, Kuzma, Green, Rondo. Let's just hope LJ and AD's egos won't clash everytime they lose games.
Rondo and AD and Cousins used play good together. So now they are back, this time with the Lakers. So there are no adjustments. Then adding Green and Cook, yes, that already a potent team right now. This is really a upgrade from last year and the players they added have the experience now.

Let's forget all of those rumors and speculations that we've made. All of those were finally over as Kawhi has been announced on where's going together with PG13. Clippers will be one of the toughest team on this season? hmmmmm.. interesting!
While KD and Irving on Nets.

Nets VS Clippers on Final lol
Kawhi ruined King James plan by joining to the clippers team. Now, I know why Kawhi takes to a long time to decide this move, I think Kawhi and PG13 discussed together with their move to the clippers lol
Don't have that conclusion yet, there's more to come. I think this is also one of the most awaited moment on NBA, the roster changes. With $142M contract for four years, well this could be a good try for Clippers with the span of time but who knows if there will be some interesting and unpredicted moments. It's not just Nets and Clippers will be the interesting team, we'll see on how the super teams before react with the season. GSW won't be the same before.
That's right, Clippers are healthy while Nets are not, Durant will not play next season, so I don't think we can guarantee they will win, and also, take into consideration that Durant might be different by the moment he comes back since it's a long lay off and coming from a major injury that will affect one's confidence.
Yeah, I've seen players before that didn't played well after coming from an injury but I still wish all the best for K.Durant for making the next season the best of him if possible and if situation permits.

There are rumors that Russell Westbrook is heading to the Houston Rockets and seeing the situation I would say it's possible to happen.
It's possible and that's his management that wants him to transfer but if he wants to, he's doing the right decision because it looks like there's no highlight for the team if he stays there for a long time or the team itself needs a buff together with him.

On the Lakers part, I only consider Danny Green as the great addition to that team aside from AD.
On another note, it's funny all those three (Davis, Cousins, Rondo) being reunited in another team.

Too much bigs for the Lakers, I think they need more outside consistent shooter so they will be unpredictable.
With a small line up but good shooters like the Warriors, I doubt they can compete much especially with Thompson and Curry who really shoots the ball well.
A must thing to be have but with that line up then i do see that they can compensate on whats lacking and heck they can shoot outside of those lines. Its just a matter of play execution either defensive or offensive.I didnt expect to see Green and Cousins on the team.

The line up is strong enough to fulfill what has been established for the team and I think Green should do his best to be worthy Lakers. Let's see what legacy of new set play could arise in the next rounds of games in the future of NBA court.

I love reading the opinion here, I expect the Lakers to be the top contender in the west but when the news came out about Kawhi, then I put my trust on the clippers to win in the west, I hope I'm wrong as it will again break the heart of Lebron James and the Lakers fanatics here.
I had some big expectation during his 1st season in Lakers but his injury seems to minimize his speed, but let's see if he are fully recovered as the season starts.
We cant still conclude yet and we don't know if the injury is fully healed or not.Clippers can give a fight but doesn't mean that Lakers would really let that thing to happen easily.

Someone is missing on the list and it's Carmelo Anthony  Smiley. He's been spotted training hard in the hope that he could find a team next season and with things going around i think the Lakers is the most probable team that could land him and why not, they are friends with Lebron. I just hope that he would swallow his pride of not being on the starter list.

The problem here is that PG is dating of Doc River's daughter in the past but he cheated and even impregnated a girl in a party. This is so awkward for them but I want to know how will this awkwardness unfolds.

Remember that these are professionals. They are basketball players but still, they are professionals. They know how to separate professional from personal issues.

Too much bigs for the Lakers, I think they need more outside consistent shooter so they will be unpredictable.

They actually run out of options going after Kawhi. That was an all-in bet to get Kawhi, unfortunately, Kawhi played them. Even after that, they still got some decent players. They can still be a contender if they can blend well together.

This is true that they are professionals but they should also understand that their personal life becomes public as they are starts and public figures. This may impact to many of the stars as they may not like something like this and can also take away the follower ship if such things happened.
