Im impressed on how Denver Nuggets works this season. Currently sitting at the 2nd spot in the West and looks like they can maintain it until the end of the season.
LOL I thought I'm the only person that noticed that. At the very start of the season, they have been treated as not so good team. But they are showing that they are improved now and they shouldn't be treated easy by most of the big teams.

They even surpassed those favored teams, they are doing well for this season. What they need to do is to maintain their place and if they can't come up beating Warriors at the top spot, they have a chance to make it to the finals.
Underrated team, they are getting less attention maybe because superstar in other team like Lakers are more famous. Hope they will play better in playoffs as we all know, plays in playoff is kinda different. Look at Rockets they are good at regular season but outplayed in playoffs.
They are currently tested now against the OKC thunder, game is very close but I think they'll win this one at home.
We will see if how good they are if they will keep beating good teams, like teams in the playoff spot already.
Being underrated team will make them even more inspired to prove that public that they are also here.

They are underrated this season, people did not noticed them as they want the Lakers in the playoffs.
Not only that they will secure the playoff spot this season but I guess they also have a shot to beat any team in the west.

I'm also rooting for the Nuggets to win, good betting odds for this team to win.

Im impressed on how Denver Nuggets works this season. Currently sitting at the 2nd spot in the West and looks like they can maintain it until the end of the season.

Last season, I remember they are fighing to death in the last playoffs spot and had a sudden match against the Minnesota Timberwolves on their final season game which they are loss. But this time no worries now about being kicked out from the playoffs. I was expecting Nuggets to be a playoff contender this season but not to the point that I will think they can sealed the 2nd spot.

Their last playoffs appearance were way back Season 2012-2013. Their last playoffs 2nd and conference finals appearance were way back 2008-09. That was really a drought and all these absence will now be erase this season. Great performance by the current core players of the team.

With Lakers losing again they are about 4 games behind the 8th seed, spurs are losing a bit in a row (3 losses in a row) but we know that is spurs and they will pick themselves up and fix the issue and get some wins.

Clippers could be realistically the only team that will not fight for a playoff spot to death because they are working on their tank obviously but somehow failing to tank but Lakers needs to go on a winning streak very very badly, like 20 games left and 4 games behind is very very risky for these teams, considering the bottom will end with something like 48-34 type deal Lakers need to be way above 50% in this past games and considering they will be playing most the 50% and above teams from now on their schedule is tough.

I can't really doubt Lebron after a whole 15 years of showing what he is capable of but putting Lakers into playoffs would be really really tough thing to do even for him.

They are currently in the top 11 now but the competition is good and they still have a chance, but today they loss again
and although Lebron had a tripple double, they were not able to win against one of the lowest standing team in the west, they need to improve if they
want to win and Lebron needs to score like James Harden, focus on scoring more than making double2 or triple double stats.

I can say Lebron is gradually walking away from his prime. He's not playing defense and seems lost in their recent game against the Grizzlies. If he continue to play like that, no matter how he make an effort offensively, they still going to have a high lossing percentage. Lets wait and see at their next 5 games, that , would be the defining moment on whether they could make the playoffs or not.

It aint that far to get that 8th spot.
Utah, SAS and LAC are still on the brink for that spot to be taken for the Western Playoffs.
There are still like 20+ games and if the team down them will do a higher percentage of win rather than a loss then they might steal a spot.

Yep, 8 - 11 spot are in a bunch and there's a lot of games left, so there's still a possibility that the Lakers can still make it to the 8th sport.

This could also be the reason why GSW is playing like there is no life.
They are not resting but they seem to be confident now.
Also, this could be a strategy into which they want to play against for the playoffs 1st round.

GSW is just relaxing right now because they know they still have the number 1 spot in the Western Division. And unless someone chases them, they will continue to play at this level and probably rest most of their stars if needed.

While the conversation about how Lebron will go this season..
I've seen a post/image on FB and said that there's only 4% chance from Lebron's team (Los Angeles Lakers) to make it to the playoffs.

That's a very low chance, they even lost against Memphis Grizzlies.

Regular season is about to end and few more weeks to go the playoffs will begin, if they will continue to be defeated even to the lower standing team then they are rekt and it may end the playoff consecutive era of LBJ.
The playoffs won't be the same as before if there will be no Lebron James to be watched.  Undecided

I believe LBJ will make a consecutive win in this 20+ games remaining. Still a possible scenario to see where they might land to #6 or #8 spot for the playoffs berth.

Lebron is already top 3 without a doubt and many people put him above Jordan already.

Well they're idiots then.  Roll Eyes
Jordan is by far the best player ever. You may not have seen him play but there was never anyone to dominate the game the way he did and he did it against much better opposition than there is today (players like Magic, Bird, Barkley, Malone, Thomas...)
And don't give me the "he had better team" excuse, he made the team.

There is a huge difference in the playstyle that Jordan used to play and in which Lebron James plays right now. Opinions may differ on the way that they like to see basketball been played. I don't blame any of my counterparts and I respect if they believe so. For me, they are both great players that have given us amazing times in the NBA.

Of course, they played on different era's, during Jordans early years he has to bang with the bad boys of Detroit Pistons. I don't know how Lebron will react on the physically of that time. He may have succumbed, lol. Lebron already make his mark, but still 6 rings for Jordan, 6 out of 6 if I'm not mistaken. Winning 3 consecutive, take a break and then comeback and won 3 again. Grin

Since LeBron's arrival at LaL, Im not expecting him to lift this team the way he lifted his former team. He isn't the LeBron before........
The Lakers is a weak team before he arrived and now they have some improvement, and the competition in the west is stronger.
I don't think Lebron already past his prime, what I am seeing now is he does not have a buddy where he can rely to, unlike with the past teams he played, like the Heat he has Wade and Bosh and even Ray Allen, and with the Cavaliers he has Love and Irving, or even Love alone is already good.

The lakers now has no all star player so it's the weakest team he played with.

... with Lebron playing his hardest to get there ...

He already did.

Since LeBron's arrival at LaL, Im not expecting him to lift this team the way he lifted his former team. He isn't the LeBron before. Even he is quiet not showing a signs of slowing down (but there's already a sign), he already past his prime. Other Lakers should step up. Age 20 21 22 23 24 25,,,,,they supposed to be the one who are adding fuel on the team. These young guys are said to be the future of Lakers. For how long is the making of that future?

Always issue in this team: Inconsistency = Dominant today, Not performing the other day and so on....

As always in the Western Conference, the bottom 4 always fighting aggressively on a certain spot. Every win counts.

I think Fizzdale is still trying to get revenge of that "they rook us" game and always pushes his players to max when playing against Spurs.
Interesting way to look at that heh, he was so fucking mad with the refs not giving them foul calls Spurs were getting, was definitely a presser to remember.

Clippers should start to drop because they seem to be going with the tanking now (a bit late)
I agree, Clippers will sooner or later drop out of the playoff race, not because they want to tank, but for the simple reason that if they make it, they lose their draft pick that goes to Celtics, if they don't, they get to keep it.

Lakers should supposedly start to win a lot of games
Lakers should start playing defense for a change, otherwise, I don't see them stand a chance making the playoffs. Not with a 25th ranked defense and having the 4th hardest remaining schedule.

Spurs lost again, first it was to spurs now its against Knicks, I think Fizzdale is still trying to get revenge of that "they rook us" game and always pushes his players to max when playing against Spurs. Do you guys think this could be the first season ever Spurs miss the playoffs in over 20 years? It looked like that last year as well but it turned out not the case at the last moments.

Lakers, Spurs, Kings all trying to hold a spot there. Jazz, Clippers, Spurs all tied together right now and Kings and Lakers are right behind them, it will definitely be a rivalry for sure. Lakers should supposedly start to win a lot of games with Lebron playing his hardest to get there and Clippers should start to drop because they seem to be going with the tanking now (a bit late) but all other spots are up for grabs apparently.

Are you saying Jordan does not worth the accomplishment and titles giving to him?

No I'm saying he's the best basketball player of all times and by far. Comparing him to anyone else is absurd.
He may even be the greatest athlete of all times.

Whether you are a Jordan fan or not, that was a fact Smiley.

And I'm not even a fan. I heard too many bad things about the guy.
But before every season started, you knew a few things :
-the Bulls would win the title
-Jordan would be the top scorer
-he would be the Finals MVP
-and unless some other team performed great and the jury felt that for once, someone else should get the award, he would be MVP of the season

Nowadays, unthinkable. Kobe, Lebron ? LOOOL

I also supported what NavI said base on the level of Jordan experience in terms of playing, his record and accomplishments. But, there something I'm not quite understand concern your statement. Are you saying Jordan does not worth the accomplishment and titles giving to him?
