I've seen this trade and news lately and Heat really knows what's best for them. I have nothing against Kyle Lowry but that's it for him and Heat with his role. Getting Terry Rozier by the Heat is a good deal. While Hornets is on the building phase and Ball needs some help there, let's see on how they're going to go up with the new roster that they're adding to their pool.

But in all seriousness, if Ball wants to have a championship ring, he needs to step out of the Hornets and ask the management for him to get traded somewhere. If not, will he be able to bring the team at least to the playoffs or semis? we'll see if Lowry's going to be effective with that. Having that experience and being a ring and title holder, he's probably gonna be a big help for the talents there.

What I think about Embiid's 70-point career high tonight was an exclamation point and part of welcoming a rival center position in the league. We saw the video of him getting near with Wemby and was shocked on his height, absolutely terrifying as a center on his POV but he got more mass and muscle that could easily get the advantage in the paint in terms of power and force to get offensive and defensive rebounds.

What should we be looking now is the Miami heat acquiring Terry Rozier, we know Rozier's impact with Hornets and now he's in a team with higher championship chances.

It's a great trade for Miami. Giving up Lowry and a draft pick for a 23ppg player like Rozier is gold!
Let's see who else is on the trade block in Charlotte. They want and need a rebuilt fast, so they will be collecting offers left and right.
I doubt they will consider any talks about Lamelo though.

I am seeing lately a lot of emotional posts on socmed about D'Los transfer. Well, it's painful to see a good player like him to be that much emotional but this is just temporary emotion and he'll get to move on with that soon.

What's important to him is he's at good shape and prove the LAs management that they've traded the wrong guy that have passion for the sport and the team that he's playing with.

He's now welcomed to the 70 pointers gang, they're only few on that bracket.

Embiid was absolutely a beast in this match. He was unstoppable. And let's be honest, it was his night. He almost single-handedly was able to win his team the match. Of course, his team supported him well. But he was the main man for sure. And his performance was definitely one of a kind. Will do not see that kind of performance every other day from even that best of players. Spurs did play well. But that was never going to be enough. They also needed someone who could pull off a performance like Joel Embiid.

He can possibly do it again on team like Piston or Spurs. His score only shows that his teammates don’t contribute much on the game because they are just a head by 10pts with that kind of monster scoring. He also get 20+ point on free throw alone which show how amateur the enemy is on defending him.


Who will not? Hahaha. He is a center which means his game is more physical in able to get a score. I’m sure his whole body is aching right now due to the extreme fatigue and probably he might be slow down on his next game.

On the other side, It’s impressive performance for Wemby despite he is facing a monster like Embiid. They still manage to have a tough battle despite the high scoring of Embiid.

Memphis are so unpredictable too, they even beat the Suns without Morant, so how much more the Raptors who aren't as good as the Suns. They are paying the price now, but I believe they understand this possibilities will happen without Siakam, so they'll play their cards, regardless of the outcome of their ranking this season, because they are sure next season they'll be able to acquire young and talented players. That's the price for letting Siakam go, they'll get the number 1.

Dallas are sometimes inconsistent but we can't discount their opponent as they are against the best team in the NBA now (I guess). I was thinking that Dallas having a good rest will be able to defeat the Celtics, but I didn't see what i expected as right from the start celtics are already dictating the game.

About the Wolves, that's unreal. They are -15 on bookies, means they could win easily but indeed it was an upset. LaMelo is really special though, with him this shitty team gets better.


They are tired of losing I guess, and with this win by the Grizzlies, we've seen how big the impact of losing Siakam. Of course, they can't expect a playoff spot after giving one of their best player if not the best.

Also, please look at the field goals. He made 41 attempts and made 24 out of them. Since when did we see a player shoot 41 attempts? James Harden is back on the Houston Rockets in 2019. Who is the coach? Mike D'Antoni, is an offensive coach who likes to run and gun.
76ers was never that type of a team and yet, they reach that amount for Embiid. Why? I will leave that to your imaginations.

What I like more is the Boston Celtics defeating the Dallas Mavericks at their home nd the Minnesota Timberwolves also being defeated by the Charlotte Hornets at their home. An upset that will be remembered with LaMelo Ball recording 13 assists.
Then, the Grizzlies defeating  the Raptors which means Canada is giving up their playoffs and Finals opportunities.

It was a phenomenal performance by Embiid, but I wouldn't hold out much hope that he can do it again, as such performances are extremely rare. For most NBA players, such a result per game is impossible to achieve, and the top players, as a rule, manage to achieve such results once or at most twice in their careers.

You must not be watching NBA games. Embiid is a very popular player, he is the star player of Philly and he won as the season's MVP last season.

Now, with this kind of performance, I would not be suprise if he will once again win an MVP award, that would be a back to back MVP award and he'll for sure a fulfilled player. However, there's still one thing that is lacking on his accomplishment, and that is winning the champion. I hope his 70 points on their recent game will boost his confidence more to become more elite and will be able to take his team to the championship.

I didn't know there was a basketball player named Joel Embiid until he broke the record. Philadelphia - San Antonio match ended 133-123, but Embiid is talked about more than the match score. In NBA history, 9 players have scored 70 points in a game. Embiid is now known to everyone interested in basketball in the world. He scored 70 points and grabbed 18 rebounds in the game. From now on, I will follow Embiid game by game. Cameroonian basketball player is 29 years old, but I heard his name for the first time 🤔

I guess he already know that he will be traded that's why he perform so good as he can so that he can leave an impression to lakers that he is a great loss for them since imagine how big the numbers he contribute lately. He should learn something and never be so relax on his current team then he should perform more better and became more consistent so that he will not get traded again.

Dlo can provably give significant changes to Warriors especially that he can contribute and for sure he can fill the inconsistency of Wiggins on the team and might he can be one of the option of Warriors to provide them points especially if Steph and Klay struggles. Let see how both perform on their new team if this trade plan would proceed. Or Lakers have more bigger plans and target other player on this planned trade.

Embiid and Towns both gave their best tonight and managed to reach new career highs with their personal scores in a single game. But Embiid's 70 points are way more historical since he clashed with Wemby and it won't be forgotten unless he makes another even more personal score in the future versus Embiid in their next game next few years from now. If only he could shoot more threes and make it count in that game, surely he will be able to surpass Kobe's 81 points but let's just wait for it maybe next time it would be possible since big men nowadays are both dominating inside and outside the 3 point-line as well.

I believe this is a possibility. I confess that D'Angelo Russell has been performing so good in the last few games, that's a significant improvement, but will he be consistent with that performance? I think it's unlikely to happen.

Is there a possibility of this trade happening? Can Dlo make a significant change to the Warriors? And Wiggins on the Lakers? Well, I don't know, but I don't see this trade being viable. Anyway, i imagine Murray is more solid and consistent than Wiggins.

Ask him to perform in playoffs against some tough defence . Mans too soft for that. Won't take away the 70 points against the worst team in the Western Conference though. Will give him some credit.

That's really some crazy numbers tonight.
Embiid's numbers seem a little inflated though since he also has 21/23 free throws and took overall 41 shots from the field, with 24/41 that's a good FG % though. He took 41 of the team's 97 GD attempts, that's a quite a lot.

On the other hand he got those 70 in only 37 minutes and with only 1 made 3 pointer. Normally if you see these super high scores there are plenty of 3s going with it.

Anyway, big night it was indeed!

Embiid's 70 points, and Towns' 62 points is only the 4th time where both players scored 60+ or more in a single night.
What's amazing is that, it also happened during the 18th anniversary of the late Kobe Bryant's historical 81 point game against the Raptors. This is a very historical day indeed.

Maybe let's give some credits to Durant's 43 points as well on their win against the Bulls. It seems like the Spurs really are careful about Wemby, eh? Well, it's their generational player so I guess they will be careful to him not to get injured.

D'Lo can be impressive on one game, but can play like an average player the next game. This is the reason why he's always on the trading blocks, and I guess only time will tell until he will be traded. I saw a Facebook post regarding trade rumors, saying that the Lakers, and the Hawks are finding a 3rd team that will complete the trade between D'Lo, DeJounte Murray and other players. Maybe let's just wait for the official announcement?

As for Wiggins, he will be traded. Ever since the incident regarding him with his family happened, he is playing like an average role player of the team. The 2nd option of the Warriors offensively became the worst player in plus-minus category. It seems like he's very much affected on what's happening on his personal life. Nevertheless, I will not be surprised if Wiggins will get traded before the trade deadline knowing that the Warriors need to change something to at least gain some momentum because they're now on the bottom spot of the standings.

It may be the case that Dlo worked more in the wake of hearing his name on the trading list. But Lakers is unpersuaded and is committed to trade him. In this case, this could be an ideal time for Lakers to trade Dlo while he is improving because that implies it is selling a much more developed player. The team is reported talking to Warriors to exchange Dlo and Wiggins. However, it is unclear if Warriors officials are interested in receiving Dlo again. Wiggins is not consistent this season but there is no assurance of how long Dlo playing at this level will last because he is likewise not consistent all through his entire NBA career.

Sixers won 6 in a row and after Embiid named players of the week, he dropped 70 on Spurs tonight. That's a franchise record. He scored 30+ in 20 games in a row.
Wemby dropped 33 in his limited time after his injury, doctors don't let him play more yet.
In Timberwolves game Towns dropped 60 and there is still one more quarter left. What a crazy night. Meanwhile I'm watching Celtics game, they widened the gap in the third quarter.
