Regarding Kyrie's winning shot, here is the reaction of Luka,

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/RpATvB4duO8

I guess everyone of us here have the same reaction. I can't believed that he did it against Jokic with his left arm. That is crazy, Jokic's almost got a block, few cm and he could at least touch it to change the shot. Probably one of the best buzzer beater that we have seen in years. And if there is a best game winner of the year award, this could be it and I think everyone would agree.
You mean Kyrie Irving's winning shot. Wink
That was one heck of a shot and he is using his left hand, the weak one. If I was his teammate, I might react the same as Luka did. I mean, that was one incredible shot, the finisher, we only see those magic shots to either Luka or Jokic.
How I wish there was time left after the shot, Jokic might also make some magic if he was given more time.
I bet for the Nuggets on that game so I was okay to let it go to overtime because I needed -3.5 to win my bet. I was shocked in disbelief, it's not every day you will see this kind of thing, so it was damn great.

Mavs was not shooting well behind the three-point line in that game. But they are lucky they are still in a close game against the Nuggets. The offensive rebounds and the 2nd chance opportunities did help them to stay close and better, win it. I might watch the game one more time. Cheesy
Oh sorry for that, yeah it was Kyrie,  Grin. I watched it several times already and seeing the reaction of the team. It's just perfect, shot went it, and the Nuggets doesn't have the time to recover. And the beauty about it, is that he did it against Jokic, left hand and with no time remaining and it snapped Nuggets 5 game winning streak. And as what boxing analyst said, great defense you can't do anything about it. Even coach Malone give credit to Kyrie with that shot. And this overshadowed Bam's winning shot as well, it was a three way behind the line against the Pistons (who would want to lose against the Pistons,  Cheesy).

Houston Rockets are preparing to give a new contract to Alperen Şengün. If he gets a max contract, Alperen can earn $225 million in 5 years. Alperen, who increased his statistics this season, deserves to receive a max contract. It's not easy to find such a good center. If he gets this contract, Alperen will make history in Turkish sports. The Turkish athlete will be the one who earns the most. And he's still very young. He has already become a player who will write his name in history.

Just don't get too cocky in getting his new contract this has happened to a few NBA stars after getting their max contract they suddenly change and are barely practicing like what happens to Ben Simmons and Jordan Poole after getting their max contract they were truly exposed not having something with the team and a disappointment for them, I think those 2 really fits the bill.

He needs to continue working on his diet, whatever his following now it's helping him to keep his stamina and also helping him to avoid having an injury, his performances really help his team a lot, with that numbers that he's prducing that brings more offensive arsenal and what we are witnessing right now only proves that his presence really have a big impact to their rally,.

Just need to keep away from any injury to help his team moving to the next round, still far but the team is really improving.

Hopefully, he continues to be an arsenal that you are talking about for the team, especially on their crucial nights, just like what happened in the recent Trail Blazers game and Los Angeles Clippers game where both games were electrifying for Zion Williamson, if this continues their team will surely lift into the playoffs.

He, on the other hand, didn't even drink or eat anything since it was the month of Fasting and yet he plays like he never even needed any of that. this is how strong they are and they are really committed to what they really like because no matter what the reasons for them not to exert all their skills, they still find themselves playing like how they used to be and it gives them even more motivation since he said those things in his interview.

Here's the video of his interview

That is what I like about Kyrie Irving his dedication to his religion however there are times that he is not performing well but I think his motivation to do something for his religion surely affects his playing and what is he capable of doing, so kudos to him for making it a motivation, while his partnership with Luka Doncic really needs improvement.

Kyrie is a great player there is no doubt about that but I still think that he is the last shot type of guy and they already have Doncic. I have always said the same thing and will say the same thing for a long time, Doncic doesn't need Kyrie, he needs a big man. Imagine if Doncic went to Denver today, or Jokic came to Dallas it doesn't matter, in that situation both of them playing together, can you imagine what would happen?

Not like we haven't seen active top 10 players playing together, we had Lebron and Wade before, or Durant and Steph before, we had Shaq and Kobe back in the day, so 2 of them top 10 players getting together was always possible, we are just not seeing it there. Doncic needs a star big man, not a ball hog.

Kyrie is so much more than a last shot guy.  Dude is considered by some to have best best handles ever.  Defensive specialists can't stand to guard him.  Some people might not like him personally but Dallas is worse off without kyrie than with kyrie.

That being said as a knicks fan and we hold this year's 1st round pick from them I hope they lose every game from here on out lol.

It's not that Doncic needs Kyrie but the Dallas needs a player like Kyrie, or at least a star player like Doncic that could help carry the load. About a big man problem that you are talking, they already got one, and it was Gafford who have been playing impressive basketball ever since he was traded to the Dallas. I think they are very much ready for the playoffs, so let's see how they'll perform this time. I have a feeling that Dallas will end up at least in the top 6.
They are only 3.5 games behind the 4th seeded Clippers, and I guess the top 3 teams in the West might not change anymore unless one of them will have a losing streak in their remaining games.

Aside from that, 6 of their remaining 14 games are against the playoff teams. 4 of those 6 games are against Sacramento (2) and Golden State (2), and I think their games against the Kings will decide if the Mavericks will get at least the 6th spot or not. TBH, their remaining games aren't that difficult because most of their games are against teams that aren't competing anymore for the playoff spot. I agree with what you said that the Mavericks are a playoff-contender team already with the acquisition of Gafford and Washington. It's just they only got them at the 2nd half of the season. If they only got both of them at the start of the regular season, they must be at the higher spot right now. The Clippers are playing pretty awful in their last 5 games winning only 1, and if that continues, that'll give an opportunity for other teams to steal that 4th spot and a possible 1st round homecourt advantage come playoffs.

Anyway, the Mavericks are a fun team to watch especially their lobs.

I just saw this online, and I think this is the most hilarious jersey swaps in NBA history already. Grin Grin Grin

I agree, Mavs is in good shape having Doncic and Kyrie. There are teams that has a lot of superstars but they can't make use of them in their maximum.

I like this roster much when it's not just all about Luka or Kyrie but they seem to be a balance roster for me. I don't feel looking at those teams with a bunch of superstars as they've got ego problems.

And most of them have ended not with a good one in the playoffs.

Unlucky for Denver that the Joker was on Kyrie, obviously he is too slow and can't really contest. If Gordon would have picked him up maybe he could challenge the shot. But of course it's always hard to challenge a hook shot, especially when it's a running hook shot.  Cheesy
What do you mean unlucky? I thought Jokic actually played a tight defense there. He was quick to recognize the switch and was able to contest the shot. Irving was forced to use his left which is a lower percentage shot compared to his usual jumper. I doubt anybody could have done a better job stopping that lucky shot from going in.

Well they had a 13 point lead in the 4th before letting the Nuggets come back into it and take the lead back in the final minute. In other words, Dallas didn't keep it close, Denver did.  Grin

But yeah, the shot by Kyrie was special, the whole play was pretty nice. Unlucky for Denver that the Joker was on Kyrie, obviously he is too slow and can't really contest. Nice shot but still a mix of luck and skill.

That could be Irving's best winning shot. AFAIR, I haven't seen anyone who shot like that far from the basket, it was only Irving and that tells how talented he is. As long as he is health, hopefully this season he will, this team is going to be interesting to watch in the playoffs. Luka and Irving is having fun, and I like that Irving had already accepted that Luka is still the main man of the team.

Shams is reporting that Isaiah Thomas is signing a 10-day contract with the Suns. I think this is a great signing because Isaiah has earned another chance in the NBA, the Suns lack a true point guard, and if this goes bad it’s only a 10-day contract. I’m really hoping it works out though because I think Isaiah got a bum deal in Boston and should have been rewarded for his loyalty and sacrifice.
Whoa! That's nice. Finally.
That dude had been lurking in the shadows of the NBA and had been asking for a chance to play again. This is a great chance for him. He will need to show off his talent in a good manner. Make the Phoenix Suns win games and we will probably see more of him after that.

You are right, the Suns badly need a playmaker. They had been playing isolation plays and at the time when Booker was hurt, all the defense would do was double-team Durant and they could win their game. Somehow, a playmaker/point guard could change this. Thomas was a threat everywhere back when he was playing for the Celtics. Let's see if he can still do that same feat and help the Suns secure a playoff spot in their last 14 games. They are in the 8th spot and would probably tie with some team if they stay there. The 6th spot is the safest to avoid the play-in tournament.

Yeah, wo would forget IT's performance when he was in Bostin Celtics? Although the Celtics has f**k him up as they didn't disclose the full extend of his injuries, I think it has healed completely after several years and he should be good to go. However, after that news, there are no teams that's willing to take that risk on IT. But it's good to see that the Suns are taking a risk on him. I do agree, when CP3 left, there's no true point guard for the Suns and they need someone who has the experience like IT. Suns is on the brink on falling in the ranks if they remain very inconsistent and I wouldn't be surprised if they land in the play-in tournament. The Lakers and the Mavs are trying to close the season on a strong note, so there's a lot of jockeying for position around the 6th-10th spot in the West.

No one is yet to talk about how that last shot and buzzer beater made by Kyrie against the Denver Nuggets today. 2.8 seconds left on that 4th quarter and the ball was in their possession. Score was tied up with both 105 but just one good shot and they'd end the game and Kyrie did it.

What's amazing on his shot is that it was a left hook shot or floater or whatever you call it from the free throw line. This is what amazing it is to watch some of these games when the game is too intense and they're on the verge of having an overtime but then, the other retaliates and don't want to prolong it.

A nice finish it is for the home court and this is going to be one of the greatest plays not just for Kyrie but also for the league itself. Wow.

That was against Jokic who is tall, Irving did it again with a game winner, I hope we will see more on that in the playoffs as he deserve another spotlight again. What I don't like with the Dallas is they were up but they allow the Nuggets to come back and even lead the game, since not all the time Irving could make a game winning shot, Dallas should learn how to protect their lead when they are up comfortably.

Also, they are lucky that Murray made a mistake that he didn't consume all the time before making his last shot, that 2 seconds was enough for the Mavs to draw a play that could give them a win. The same situation happened with the Heat where Adebayo made the game winner because pistons draw a bad play to shoot the ball early, or they panicked.

He will likely get a max because he plays like their best player and he is still young, currently at 21 years old. It's true, NBA doesn't have a lot of good centers so the competition isn't that high. This season he is averaging 21.1 PPG, 9.3 rebounds, and 5.0 assists, these numbers showed he is an all around player, a big man who knows how to pass, create his offense and very hard working on defense and grabbing the ball.

We don't know if it could happen since it's just a speculation for now, but if it will happen, we should not be surprise as he had the best season in his NBA carreer so far.

It will happen, the kid deserves it. He works his way up to achieve the kind of level and intensity to consistently increase his stats . The Rockets better not going to make a mistake by not maximizing the opportunity to build a team around Sengun. One thing that's concerning about him currently is his injury. Everyone hopes it's nothing major that doesn't affect his performance when he fully recovers moving forward. I'm not familiar with some medical conditions and treatment, but a 3rd grade sprained ankle is not something as serious as a torn ACL.  I think it's fine that he'll miss the remainder of the season as they only have very little to non chances on making the play-ins.

Not directly with the diet but Los Angeles Clippers just can't stop Zion Williamson on that night. It was pointed out by Tyron Lue after the game that Zion is not just an inside scoring machine but can also hit shots from the perimeter. Currently, Zion is still not concerned about his diet as long as he can perform well as for him, there's no problem lol.

If he cares about his diet now, there should be no clause about the mandatory diet on his current contract.

The first time I heard given for a player lol.

Oh well, that's a good point, if he already done managing his diet the claw in his contract might be updated already but since there's no update about that maybe he's just doing so well and it's really giving the team that good impact winning games, just continue what it is that preventing him from suffering with another hard injury and continue performing well I guess.

What a game for both teams, just so happened that only one can take the win but both shows up good competition and regards to that last shot, Kyrie got a lots of amazing shots I guess it was an intinct and a call to him as one of the super stars of the team, you can lean on him and he delivered it so well.

Yeah, it was a entertaining game between this two great team, and this could be the best version of Kyrie that we have seen so far with Dallas. He is healthy, moving like he was still with the Cavs together with Lebron. But right now he is with Luka.

What a shot, a hook shot that we have never seen since maybe the team of all time great Kareem. It was a back and forth game, Murray, a dagger 3 to give them the lead, but Luka comes back with his own 3 to tie. And then Murray missed what could have been the game winner for them. But he missed Dallas called for a time out and everyone is looking for Luka to get the ball but it was Irving for the great left hook.
