I will just say that one of the competing teams will stay out of Playoffs. And it will be loser of the match between Wolves and Nuggets.

GSW against SPURS, I hope that both Curry and Kawhi would play for the 1st round!

Can't wait for the POs to start!

I believe that both Kawhi and Curry will not gonna play on the first round. But I believe that GSW can still go to the Eastern finals without Curry since they are solid team and not relying only on steph. There other players that can cover the role of curry. In terms of Spurs, They are strong too but they are just in bad luck since they will be facing GSW in first round.  Grin

In most playoff scenario, gs will steamroll any number 7 team even without steph since they're still stacked with durant leading. But with the spurs being number 7, i think steve kerr would've preferred to have faced number 6 or 5. Of course kahwi is a big loss, but if ypu have someone who can run around those losses and come up with a potent alternative, it's popovich

Wolves outlast Nuggets on the OT, Denver had a good run starting the 3rd quarter with their leader Nikola Jokic having 7-7 on the floor including 3 3s. However, they fell short, Jimmy's offensive aggressiveness and defensive stops, make the OT hard for the Denver Nuggets. Kudos, to both teams who brought a very close and undeniably great game. Also, Credits to Nikola Jokic, he's really one of a kind player and for the T'wolves the drought is over welcome to the Play-offs again! A deserved win for the wolves.

Let's see how far can they go this POs, would the Rockets go all the way or wolves will upset them? Interesting first round of the Western Conference.

Let us not forget the Defensive effort Andrew Wiggins has put up, his match was Wilson Chandler were he hold him scoreless for the whole game. I mean who can do that? With a lot of pressure in the game Wiggins maintained his composure. Its been 14 years since the Minnesota Timberwolves entered into the playoffs and its about time they did. Finally a team where we can be comfortable seeing even on the 8th seed facing the Houston Rockets. Now what is only left is for Timberwolves to have at least a good run with the Rockets. Fans are totally happy on the result of the game. Especially for those who are watching live in their home court.

This amazing season is coming to an end. Tonight might be one of the most interesting final days ever.
We will find out who will get placed where and who will end without playoff, sadly.
On the East, we will find out who will end as 3rd of Philla and Cleveland and placement from 6th to 8th of Bucks, Heat and Wizards.
What to say about West, lol.
Well, everything except first two places is one big mistery. I will just say that one of the competing teams will stay out of Playoffs. And it will be loser of the match between Wolves and Nuggets.

No sleeping tonight, definitely Tongue

76ers and the Wizards were both favorites to win their matches in the games played last night.
It seems it is either the Timberwolves or the Nuggets that will be sent off if they lose the match up tonight.
And it is too true, the games are inconsistent and can end either way the closer and closer we get to the first round of the playoffs.

What are you bets for tomorrows match?

Pacers vs Hornets

Hawks vs 76ers

Wizards vs Celtics

Mavericks vs Suns

Jazz vs Warriors

Lakers vs Rockets

Source

No bets for me tomorrow but i'm liking the 76ers to cover and the overs in the Wizards/Celtics game.
Can you give me a reason why you prefer to choose 76ers? so what's your choice between Wizards and Celtics?

76ers are on a 14 game win streak and are 10-2 ATS in there last 12 games i expect them to cover easy, also no Bazemore and Schroder, The Wizards/Celtics total is set at 205.5 which is way to low considering there last 10 meetings have gone over 8-2 times, i also do think the Wizards win they have a lot more to play for and the Celtics are already locked in the second seed with nothing to play for.
Good choice with Hawks Vs 76ers* = winner.

While in Celtics vs Wizards* = winner.

Wow you've got a nice prediction, you seem to be a good predictor.  Grin

Who we liking for tomorrows game, Timberwolves or Nuggets? whoever loses is out of playoff contention.

I like Denver Nuggets rally in trying to get a playoffs spot. I thought this team will not even make it to the 8 but they gave a good rally while season is coming to end that's why currently, they are now on the final stage to fight for the last playoffs spot. They are currently on 6 winning streak (closed to 7 but loss only a few digits by the Toronto Raptors and they played good back then). I like Minnesota Timberwolves to be in playoffs too but Im seeing Denver Nuggets will gave a good match against the Houston Rockets.

P.S. Timberwolves and Nuggets never defeat Houston Rockets this season.

The final playoffs matchup will now be finalized tomorrow after season games ends. San Antonio Spurs will surely matched on either Portland Trail Blazers or Utah Jazz.

And that's it... San Antonio Spurs playoffs streak appearance will continue this year after beating Sacramento Kings and clinch their playoffs spot. 21 years and counting and one of the longest playoffs streak in the NBA history.

Manu Ginóbili surprises the crowd with his performance. 17 big points to help the Spurs and playing like he's not on 40. Actually 3 months from now he will became 41 and look he is still threat on the floor. That nasty dunk of him during the 4th quarter showing us that there is no such thing as oldies in NBA lol.

Spurs will likely to faced the Portand Trail Blazers on which they just defeat recently. Their head to head series this season is 2-1 in favor of Spurs. Let's see if they can handle the Blazers and passed on the second round.

Let us see about that.
Portland have been good offensively but they will be playing with the Jazz who beats Golden State yesterday.
This could likely tell if they are really that strong. The defense of Utah have been talked by commentators and they are getting a lot of praise from it. 40 points lead against the GS is not a joke. That means a hard played game.

Portland cannot just play offensively, if it is against the Spurs who have a different kind of level of game when they are on the floor they will really need that defensive strategy too.

Philadelphia 76ers did crush Atlanta last night 121-113.
I was keeping tabs on the DC game as the Wizards did clinch a spot near the bottom of the playoffs race and they beat the Hawks last week with Wall as well. He got his 5,000th assist along with the win last night and their coach said he will be resting next game as they want him fresh for the playoffs.
I believe you got the over with a 113-101 score line as the Wizards played good ball while the Celtics were playing injured as they are without the wisdom of Kyrie Irving.
They won't get far into it but at least they don't need to face the Raptors as DC will be doing that first round. Wink

I would bet on the Spurs on that first round despite they do not have the home court advantage.
They are a threat because of the very discipline players, I might even think of putting my money to them to win in the NBA finals, what do you think?
Against the Portland Trail Blazers if they meet on the first round, i think they had a chance although not that big because they don't have Leonard in their line-up. Putting your money on them to win it all is an insane act. Even though their players are discipline players but their key players are not that young anymore.

I think its possible but would really be a tough path for them to made up to the top. There are lots of strong teams too.Im once a fan of SPURS and even nowadays Manu Ginobli do still amaze me inspite of his age and as being said hes still a threat on where his performance in the court doesnt still fade up.

Facing with Blazers, no doubt Spurs will win this one but theres no assurance since anything can happen.

My Two Best Bets For Tomorrow

Thunder VS Heat
Thunder -3 @1.94

Pelicans VS Clippers
Pelicans WIN @1.34

Nice win on the Thunder, not a bad result for the Heat tho looks like there going to finish 7th in the east so taking on a wounded Celtics shouldn't be an issue for them.
It seems like the Thunder are winning lately, this would help them going to the playoff stage.
George and Westrbrook are doing well and Anthony started to blend well also, they would be very dangerous although sometimes inconsistent.

Inconsistency, that is true.
Anthony is having problems with shooting and freethrows. Once I looked at how he plays (I mean just looking at him for like 5 minutes of the game.
That is a forward with not much of rebounds and not that quite good with defense. They must really train them more at that section or else even a team with that is not good good take them down.
It is not just always offense when the playoffs come. It will not work.
Playoffs is really different and you are right, if OKC will improved this factors then they will really a team to watch out from the west, the big three
are really nice to watch when they are blending to well together, it's just not good when one of them is not doing well, the whole line up can really
achieved if the coaching staff will focus and fill out those important things one by one.

Couldn't believe Harden with the nearly as good "Golden state 2016-2017 season" Houston Rockets team's record this year could not put away Oklahoma City Thunder last night.
They were knocking threes all the up until the middle of the final quarter. Then Westbrook turned on his rockets and a couple of plays (as in a steal and a setup to another team member for the score) later, they were up 10 points.
Harden got he ball stolen and then blocked with his famous lay up going hard to the rim.
I can't believe they did that going into the playoffs cause it doesn't show they are ready for the first round if they can drop a game like this in the clutch of the fourth and final corner.
The game was meant for them to clinch a playoff berth so it wasn't like they could of dropped this game if they wanted too.
So what up Harden? Embarrassed
You can't win all the games you want. Maybe that game is for Oklahoma City Thunder because Westbrook is so determined to win that one. If that is game one of a series, for sure the Houston Rockets will make some adjustments on their defense to contain Westbrook. Playoff games and elimination games are so different.

I agree, All teams are defeatable. There would be an on and off nights for the players, No matter how good a player is not all of his shots are going in. A single game cannot determine the future of the team (not unless they didn't do anything to adjust based from that game), OKC just had provided good plays and played smart basketball. Westbrook on the other side is really a top notch, his desire and passion for the game is one of a kind.
The way I see the game was the Houston Rockets are just polishing up their game, and winning is not one of their purpose against the Thunder. And if you look at the minute played by their 4 benches you will see that Gerald Green played for 28 minutes and Luc Mbah a Moute played for 25 minutes and the rest played for more than 10 minutes. The bonus here is if the Thunder gets a spot in the playoffs Harden, Durant, or Westbrook might be facing at least one of them. This might be a thrilling series to watch if that happens.
