In the western conference playoff game, it is difficult to decide who can get out of the line until the last minute!

I think Timberwolves may have made the playoffs, this talented team, and it's very shaky!

Anyone dark horse team in the East that can stop the Toronto vs Cavs party?

Toronto Raptors can be stopped but for Cleveland Cavaliers I doubt there will be a great contender aside from Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors (on which I sees will also have a hard time dealing with the Cavaliers).

Let's recap those other teams that already clinched the playoffs berth on the East:

4 Philadelphia 76ers
5 Indiana Pacers
6 Miami Heat
7 Washington Wizards
8 Milwaukee Bucks

Let's say these teams will remained at their respective spot, Cavaliers will faced: (6) Heat and (2) Celtics or (7) Wizards then finals. We can see here that Cavaliers already dominated their bracket.

On Toronto Raptors, Im seeing they will have a hard time dealing with ( 8 ) Bucks and will also have the same experience on who will win between Pacers and 76ers. And that's it.

*just my own speculation

I will go for Philadelphia now in the Eastern Conference. Even with the rookies there they could have a good chance of going to the next round. I would also be happy if they could just give some of this teams a hard time to get to the next round too.
Game 7 would be lovely and shake them for being nervous.
Remeber, it will be a different aura in the playoffs. There is a big change in plays that will happen. Plus, they will be focusing on weaknesses of just one team and attack that.
76ers in the Eastern with a bunch of rookies and an injured Embiid? I dont think they will make it far, I think the best they could do if they stay healthy is a second round, but I hope they get experience because Simmons has a bright future, and a lot of rumors about Lebron joining them? Really like this young team but this year is just a rebuild, dont expect much.

Yeah just recently saw what happened to Embiid and it is really going to be a lot of problem.
I am rooting for that guy to make a big change with the playoffs since they are full of rookies.
With Embiid out the gameplay of 76ers will be changes. The outside game will be crucial from now and they will really need it.
They can do it before with Embiid around pulling the big defensive guys out because of his 3 pointer. Now how are they going to score in the paint if it is in full defense.

They will still give them a hard fight though.
9th team to win 9 straight games even without Embiid for the last games. They are creating history again.
This is a team that has future indeed, they are actually on a 12 winning streak, but in that streak of games that they won they havent played a team that will even be in the second round in the Playoffs. They played the Nets (25-53) twice, the Hornets (34-45) twice, the Knicks (24-45) and the Grizzles (19-52) and a couple of more teams that wont even make to playoffs and are just trying to tank the rest of the season. The only respetable wins that they had was the Timberwolves in that streak. However, it is hard get on a streak in this era in the NBA where every team is good and every team is going to give you a fight, but in this streak they havent played any team worth of a second rounder yet.

I think you Sixers will not go past the first round of the playoffs without Joel Embid in their line-up.
I agree with you mate. Joel Embid is such a big factor for the Philadelphia 76ers. Without him they can't go anywhere. The Process is put on hold once again.

Exactly, their chance to win is lesser without Embid in the line up.
They are a good team right now but majority of the contribution is coming from Joel Embid, he is beast inside so they need him to win.

Raptors which I think is the best team in the Conferece,
They are really the best in the conference by just looking at the standings they are #1. And if Cavs going to take over the spot they can't have it anymore since few more games left for them. The exciting part is about to come, are you guys excited with it?

Perhaps we needed to wait until the playoff was ended, a lots of things can happen though history can just repeat itself, remembering the old
bulls where the bad boys dominated them for long years, maybe that also can happen to raptors its a matter of dedications and hungriness
if they really wanted to grab the opportunity.

Agreed, dedication and hungerness is what the Raptors team must have. I'm just sick of seeing this team tops the east and fall short in the playoffs, I mean they really need to change their system, their mind set in the playoffs. They have a young talented team, I hope they will compete in NBA finals this year.

I can see the 76ers beating the Bucks in the first round. But now that Kyrie Irving is hurt this Conference its going to came down to Cavs and the Raptors. Feel really bad for the Celtics fans, everyone was expecting a lot from them and now their 2 all stars are hurt. Im seeing that Hayward is starting to run and do some small drills, but with this news of Uncle Drew and also the injury of Marcus Smart this is an emotional hit for them. The most interesting games to see will be all in the West Conference, where the final will be Warriors vs Rockets with a game 7 in Houston.

Oh my that is a horrible event for the Boston Celtics. Although they have a good squad, Kyrie Irving is a big factor to them. There chances in getting to finals are now getting slim as you know in Eastern Conference, you need a complete and healthy lineup to match and compete with the Toronto Raptors and especially the Cleveland Cavaliers. Im not saying that they will easily be loss but let's be honest here that Celtics will have a difficult game if they faced Cavaliers on their playoffs run. And not just that, others remaining teams on the East that they will faced have big chances to crushed them down.

But I know Celtics will do their best as always. Last year, it's IT and now it's Irving.
Unexpected things do really happen anytime and its sad for Celtics fans on what happened recently where Irving wont be there into their upcoming games.Chances would really go slim and I do see that Irving would always have one of the biggest contributions towards into their previous plays against other team and now things do happen. Its sad but Celtics would really need to made such adjustments while Irving isn't present.
It would really be hard for them.

And that showed in the game yesterday night with the Raptors.
They scored only 39 at the half and held that score till middle of the 3rd quarter.
This squad just couldn't score and Toronto had 7-0, 10-0 and 14-0 runs.
I can see them leaving the playoffs early instead of the Raptors.

Ouch, I initially thought that Irving's injury is not that serious and hope that he can make the playoffs for the C's. Unfortunately, its not the case and wish him the best so that he can go back next season.

Yeah, I would agree that the chances of Cavs getting to the finals increases because of Kryie's injury. Would love to see who's gonna be on top with Toronto, Celtics and Cavs. But it looks like its gonna be Toronto vs Cavs unless other teams pull a upset.

Kyrie Irving will missed games until the end of the season and playoffs depends on how far the Boston Celtics will made to the playoffs.

6 weeks maximum is the given period including the recovery time and for that span, Boston Celtics might not be on playoffs that time depending on the number of games they will played at 1st and 2nd round or if they will always win. If they will go to finals, then Irving have chance to play.

This is not a good tyming for the Boston Celtics as Irving is one of the frontrunners on the Celtics squad that's why they have a good run this season.

Cleveland Cavaliers now increasing their chances more to become the Eastern Conference Champion. Honestly even with the healthy Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors, they have a high chance and now because of that Irving scene, it increases more.

Celtics' Kyrie Irving to miss rest of season, NBA playoffs; needs second surgery on knee

Kyrie Irving won't return this season, including playoffs

Spurs lose against the Lakers 122-112 in OT. Lakers played from the last minutes in regulation with their bench and Kuzma. Looks like Coach Luke Walton wanted to rest their starters and give some experience to the young squad of the Lakers (Or tanking) who were playing great basketball, especially against a veteran team in the Spurs that had a back to back game yesterday. Great game for the Lakers and a fatal lost for the Spurs who are still debating about their seeding in Playoffs. Lets see if they can keep that streak of consecutive Playoffs clinched in a row.

The Lakers derailed San Antonio again. Because we all know how the West team is bunch from 5th-9th seed with 3 games remaining. If San Antonio for unknown reasons failed to reach the playoff this year, this game will haunt them. Again, Kyle Kuzma played one of this best games scoring 30 points and without starter Lonzo on the game, I can't really think what went wrong with San Antonio and losing this crucial match against the Lakers.

I thought they could easily dominate the Lakers, but I was wrong because instead of dominating I see a different outcome.
Actually I root for the Spurs to win because they need that win to stay comfortably in the playoff race, now it just showed that they are not consistent.
We both are underestimating the Lakers and predicted that the Spurs will win this game easily. The scores aren't that far from leading for the whole game until Lakers made it's way during the OT. I really can't feel the MPLS jersey of LAL anyway that's not a big deal as long as they've won this match.
