Green run by the cavaliers, they were down big entering the 4th quarter but they were able to win the game.
Looks like they are back now, they know that they need to win games in order to be back on top, K. Porzingis by the way is not scoring well, maybe that is one of the reason why the cavaliers came back to win.

This season in the NBA is saturated with excellent matches. The level of many teams will allow them to fight for the winner of both the regular championship and the winner of the playoff series.
Weak teams are improving now so that gives the fans more entertainment, on the other hard, good team like the Cavaliers are still struggling which for sure many are not happy because  they are the favorite in the East to win easily.
Starting to feel like the Cavaliers don't care anymore about the seedings because imo results will still be the same they'll face GSW again in the playoffs.

With the Cavaliers' inconsistent results i'm going with the NY Knicks(+5) point spread and with their better form it should be enough for them to win or at least cover. They've beaten the Cavs before and with only 2 loss on their home record out of 6 winning is likely for them.  My bet
I think seeding is still important though because for one, you can have homecourt advantage, 2 trying to avoid strong teams early in the series.

But knowing Cavs, with Lebron James as their leader, they could still finish around top 3 which is a good position if they totally giving up the top seeding as what you have suggested.

Although cavs started the season inconsistently, and it seems like they're still adopting with their new set of roster and system. Im still rooting for them. LeBron can lead them all the way to the finals. He's on the mission making it to the history as he will be in the finals for 8 consecutive years. Its also good to see those underdog teams from the past few seasons for competing against power house team like San Antonio, Gsw, and Cavaliers. These season will have a very tight competition.

This could be the reason why they are losing right now. They have acquired a lot of players and this new comers are still trying to adopt to the new system. And we don't how long will this new players will adjust, but I'm sure if the coach finds the perfect combination, it will be just a matter of time before they can click and finish strong before the playoffs.

The real test is after the all star break in February, it will be critical that they should put a string of win so that they can quality at least for a playoff position.

See, this is what I mean by Kobe is overrated.  He should never ever be considered a top 10 player.  The guy is only considered good because he came in the league when Jordan's career was ending.  He is an average shooter who shoots a lot, a terrible clutch shooter, and overall doesn't help his team win games...why is he top 10?
Kobe is not overrated, he can win championship even without the help of a star player unlike James who joined wade to win championship.
Maybe you are just basing your opinion on his last few years in the NBA when he was not fully healthy anymore, when he was still young I love to watch him play with Gasol, Odom, and Fisher and this 3 are just an average player but they reach the NBA finals many times.

He deserved the credit, he was able to market the Lakers due to his popularity and one of the best player in the NBA, in terms of being clutch, I guess you cannot question him in that area.

Not sure how you mention Lebron joining Wade then say Kobe wins without stars.  His first 3 championships can be contributed to shaq, can't even argue that.  Then you mention he has gasol, odom, and fisher.  Lebron is way better than Kobe, not even close.

Why does he deserve credit?  He was a average shooter.  Never was he the best player in the NBA in all his seasons he played.  Yes, you can't question him being clutch because he is statistically one of the worst clutch shooters of all time.

I will refrain from digging history here. Instead of discussing your concern thru game by game details, all I can say is...

...Once you hate a player, you will never appreciate their performance at any means.

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate Kobe at all, he is a top 50 player of all time.  I just find it funny that people think he is top 5 of all time.  There is a huge difference.  To be a top 50 player in the history of the NBA is a huge thing, he just isn't even close to top 5, 10, 20, 30. He isn't even top 5 on the lakers franchise history!

Well for that , different people have different set of players who will be there top 5 , top 10 , top 20 etc.... All Time Players.

NBA's own list of top 50 players who is done by voting can't be considered as reputable list because honestly there are lots of considerations and factors to be included in top 50. That is also done by voting and only the set of panels did it. Also I doubt all those who are currently on top 50 players is really good compare to some of the current rosters today.

Back to Kobe Bryant, his stats is great overall in his entire career. If some people wants to put Bryant on their top players list then we have nothing to do with that as it was their own preferences.

Boston Celtics  vs Toronto Raptors  -  The bookis made Toronto as favourites today even though they play at Houston home and despite Houstons great shape.
Im with Toronto today.

You probably meant on Boston, not Houston. The bookis made Toronto favourites because Irving is missing for Celtics.
It seems like there is no stopping the Boston Celtics, there system is really working well despite not having their star player in the line up.
Toronto Raptors is a good team just like them, they have both reached the NBA east Finals so we can expect a good game and it really happen, I am still lucky I was not able to bet today because if I were to, I would have put my money with the Raptors.

I vote For Golden State Warriors. Voted in General, I doesn't care who will win in the game 1,2,3,4,5,6,7. But all in all I Put my Trust in GSW, Since They Have DURANT,IGUADALA,GREEN,CURRY,THOMPSON  this five can give a trophy in GOLDEN State.

Cavaliers has less strength to take the Trophy of 2018th season, so Goodbye To KING JAMES 2018 is not His year. HAHAHA.

Agreed. Simply, I don't see how this Cleveland can compete with Warriors.

Can't believe all the favorites covered today pending the wolves.
Timberwolves loss in the game against the worse team in the NBA, wow that was really unexpected, I'm glad I dd not bet on them today, just happy now with the result on the Cavaliers and the Mavericks match up because the cavs won the game and they covered.

Another good team that is starting to look like a garbage team is the Clippers, they are in a long losing streak already.

Is there any chance that Cleveland Cavaliers can still go into NBA Finals? Or at least playoffs this 2017-18 NBA Season? I think LeBron too much old to help rhe team so that they will not go for NBA Finals. Thoughts about what happening to Cleveland Cavaliers and Oklahoma City Thunder that also facing bad record 4-7 current standing.
Cavs can still be on playoffs for sure and about the OKC i'm right with my prediction that having a 3 all star players on team is not good for me.

if only playoff phase can is easy
cav with golden state warior still strong candidate can win NBA seaon 2018
well its still early for them and for sure when play off is come nearer we will see them keeps winning each games that they've got, NBA is a just doing their stuff to build some good earnings, see and understand each games and build your own pattern if you are into gambling, do some martingale experiment from this two teams and see the results.

I think they will find their best form when right time comes, around the playoffs, but indeed they don't look like a team competetive for winning championship.

At their current level of play, Cav's is gonna take a lot of beating on the playoffs from the Celtics.

Well if you ask me Cavs can still go to playoffs but finals? No i don't think so even in final four in eastern conference it will be hard for lebron and the rest of the team.
