I hope Celtics management will not be regret for trading Jae Crowder.

He did a great performance throughout the pre season and expect it will show up on the regular season games. A big man that can dominate inside that also have a good hands out from the three point area, awesome guy and really fit for Cavaliers system. Although he is still on building chemistry with the Cavs, surely he can play his usual plays.

I'm Kyrie Irving fan so as of this season i hope that the Celtics will have a great year and Kyrie will unlish his Mamba Mentality this entire season. And i hope that Gordon Hayward will have his all-star year ones again!

What do you mean Mamba Mentality? There's only one Kobe and it can't be replicated not even Kyrie. He has his own mentality but I don't think we can compare them both. Yes, I'm hoping that he has a good start being a Celtics though, However, its just the start of the season so its gonna be a long way for him to really proved his worth on the team. He should get over with the Lebron and Cavs and just focus on his games as the new leader of the Celtics. Gordon Hayward is already past his prime, he can contribute but not like before. He will have his moments, but I doubt he can bring his A game once more.

Lebron James injured his ankle during a preseason game against Chicago on Tuesday.

It's just a few more days before season starts and looks like he can't play to their season opener game against the Boston Celtics. It was waited by the fans and they are exciting since Irving and James will face off. Even he can play, it's not 100% but more exciting to watch rather than he will just sit and watched the game.
I'm looking forward lebron can play against the celtics but it will not happen a it's really a bad news for the cavaliers fans if there is no lebron then it will be sure win for the celtics

Mamba Mentality? Let's see if he can play well now with his new team. I really care about his comment about the new roster of his former team. I'm waiting for a reporter or interviewer that will try to ask him about his feelings that his former team now is one of the crowd favorite because of the addition of Dwyane Wade in that team. But still Celtics is one well known team and I'm not going to underrate it.

As Boston Celtics fan's, I love the current roster. Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward as core. I think they can count as Warrior and Cavalier contender for NBA Title.   Cool

I watched the preseason between the cavaliers and the Bulls, the line was Cavs at -8.5 and they are playing at their home court.
The result was very disappointing, I thought they will deliver and give a good show to the fans, they loss against the bulls and they were dominated. It seems like they do not have the chemistry yet, Rose as a point guard now does not blend well on the system their coach has design.

It's not because of chemistry but pre season games is different from regular season. Look at how Cavaliers didn't able to force themselves to take up the lead again during end of third eventhough they can.

Plus can't imagined you take the risk of -8.5 spread for Cavaliers on pre season game. That was a risky pick mate. Shocked
There are a lot of surprises in this pre season so you cannot really rely on the odds alone and how good the team is.
Usually starters does not play hard to avoid injury and knowing this will give a gambler a chance to win betting on the bigger odds, just like today, the sixers are +7.5 against the Nets and it seems like they are winning this game so that's a good winning for those who take the ML.

Im not really comfortable placing bets on pre-season games. It's like just a practice game so even how good am I for making analyzations, it's useless. Especially when a team is downed for 10+ points on 4th quarter, the bench squad are the ones who are on court now.

Im seeing lots of good picks at the current NBA bets but still I don't want to take the risk. I will wait for season games where every win is important.
I guess it's just a matter of analysis now, as a gambler we have to do different approach in pre-season and regular season. We don't need to place a bet based on our regular bets because we can play a little just to have fun. Further, I also noticed that most games are going over since they don't show enough defense so I guess we have to bet on the over more and choose the maximum odds if your sportsbook has that available.

Finally within 2 days the NBA starts again!

Who will win NBA 2017/18?

Golden State  @1.55
Cleveland       @5.50
Boston            @9.00
Houston         @12.00
San Antonio   @13.00
Oklahoma      @21.00

I expect to see a final between Golden State vs Cleveland but much more balanced than last NBA

I don't want to see another finals with Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers. I want to see some other teams like Oklahoma Thunders, they have what it takes and they have the guts to be in the semi's - finals. I think it's unfair that you'll not include other teams with your choices as you are undervaluing them though this list seems to be legit. Chances of seeing GSW and CV is there but I want to watch just another finals.

As much as we like to have a new team vying for the ring this year, Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers are the likely front runner to go against it once more. Teams have upgraded, acquiring new members so that they can keep up with the two teams. However, it seems that they are the team to beat in the West/East conference. I didn't say that other teams have no chance to get into the finals, but the two has up the ante and the other teams need to catch up with them. We are almost on the beginning of the season. Let's see how Westbrook game would adjust, can he make triple double every game? How about Wade? or Rose on Cavaliers? Will they have the second wind to perform better this year because they have Lebron?

They are contenders and candidates again for this year's season. But it looks like we have a beast that will stay on his nature and will definitely have the potential to bring his squad up to the finals. And that's why I'm counting them to beat most of the teams that can bring them to semi's and not only there but also in the finals, excited to watch the start of this season.

And the time I admired (San Antonio Spurs), is only at top 3. I wonder what is the  improvement of Kawhi leonard this season. As we can see hes one of the most humble yet one of the guys that has the potential to be one of the greatest someday ( I still felt bad that had an injury in the last semi finals ). Lebron on the other hand is a monster, great passing and basketball IQ and he had Wade now. A very dangerous player, this will be hard to predict but of course there are so many fans of Golden state warriors and their players are solid.
I hope that this years finals would be a great battle.

No one has any news regarding his status or anything about him I guess he's one of the most underrated player in the league. And I admire him too for his humbleness unlike those other players that thinks they are too supreme and popular. The generation of these famous players are today and they can still enjoy it while they are young, popular, has enough strength and flexibility but there will be the time that there's another good rookies out there, so whose your bet?

for me my prediction on NBA 2018 its very exciting for me i will for golden state warriors. there is still no team or team in the east or west that will meet the GSW. very powerful lineup of GSW line up for me back to back champs for that team. nothing new to the GSW team. Unlike other teams build a superstar player together to beat the golden state. GSW for champ.
Golden state warriors have their won't unique style of playing, the ball rotation, assisting, fastbreaks and especially their shooting percentage in 3 point territory. They're already a solid team. But lots of superstar player in east went to west and already team up with other superstar player let's see how golden state warriors will battle against them. Meanwhile, stephen curry are overrated with his shooting and he's range are almost in the halfcourt. Even they didn't changed their roster I think they still the number one team this season.
no question about that mate with curry durant thompson green and iggy i also agree that they still got the super team that they have last season, but with the trade happen and if coaches will able to maximize the chemistry between superstars okc and houston got a big chance to level their super team against gsw, its all about how players and coaches to adjust in order to bring the trophy.
The warriors has the best coach that's why they become a very good team, if they will play the same this year it's still hard to beat them by any team in the NBA. Warriors had already proven they are a good team why for new roaster on a team who also like to build a super team, I guess they have to prove first that they have the chemistry to play together. Durant was fresh last season and he easily blend the team despite the fact that he has injuries last season. Let's just watch what will happen, I'm excited to see what will happen when the regular season will start.

I have been in favor of San Antonio Spurs since the mid-nineties. I understand that they have few chances to become champions this season, but I still want them to win.

Can't still move on with the last season because of Kawhi Leonard's injury. They played well but they are just a certain player dependent, counting them in as a contender for this season is a good one. I'm not a sports analyst and I want every team to get into the finals but with a lot of player shuffle and trades, this season is quite tough for everybody. We can't expect the old ones will be the good ones and even those teams that has changed their roster.

A couple of outspoken NBA owners have proposed seeding playoff teams 1-16 by record, regardless of conference. What say you?

So theres talks about a 1-16 playoff teams. That would eliminate the West vs East and just get the 16 best teams in the NBA to match up against each other, regardless of the conference. This just shows how much of a difference there is between conferences. Lebron will have a free pass to the NBA finals in the following years if this keeps going like this. The Warriors will finaly have some competition on their side.
For me, this shouldnt happen, I like the format as it is right now. No need to have the Warriors play the 16 seed when it could cause one of their super stars to get hurt.

This is crazy, changing the usual thing is something that shouldn't be done. They should respect what's the old way of playoffs as they used to play like that. I think this is just something that wanted fans to worry about this thing about the whole league. They shouldn't even think about this matter since the season is about to start and preseason will end soon.
Let's stick to the current rule, I think it's more fun if we do not change anything, I like watching the warriors and the cavaliers playing again in the Finals. I don't know what made them think that fans will like this proposed change, in the end it should be the fans decision who will be followed  because we are the one who are making their business profitable in the world of entertainment.

Tell it to the management of NBA, I'm not really into those rules but changing it with what we used to watch and we expect that's a really crazy man. And I would love to say to you that it will not be the fans who will be deciding but the management, we can't do anything with it. Sticking to their rules is up to them so if ever they used to change it, we can't do protest man, it's their business and they have to do it for themselves.

I don't like the chemistry of OKC been watching their pre season i think its a bad choice to pick melo who think he is still the MVP instead they should pick a good center like Demarcus Cousins.

I know your feeling but it already happened, the trade was done and I'm pretty sure that their coach or any of the coaching staff does notice it. I have a big trust with OKC but still I have my own bet, I just want to see another team get into the finals and I think OKC has a big edge. What the team needs to do is to keep on practicing and knowing each other so that they'll play comfortably.
Well its really a question if who will dominate the west as we seen how well Houston played inside the pre season a lots of 3point shooters and a great 1-2 punch coming from harden and Paul, regarding with okc I think they are still in the process of building their chemistry they have their own versions of a super team so its up to coaches if how to control and pick who's really hot and can manage the win.

Too early to say, it's still the preseason. Everything comes down differently in the long run.

Exactly it's still a preseason and there's nothing to think about that much with those games. It's mostly like a practice game and no team does really care about it, they won't even show what they had done in their practice games. There are few more days before the regular season starts. 6 more sleeps or should I say 5 1/2 days to go before seeing the first match for this year.

PS: I noticed the replacement of title, thanks op.
