Preseason games are already up, and by looking at them, seems the offseason traded players are in good condition.

Only few more sleeps left and we'll see the first match up Boston Vs. Cavs & Rockets Vs. GSW.
Is it a coincidence that the rival team does have the same schedule and on the very first day of the regular season? Is anyone here still predicting that Cavs Nation will be meeting up again with the Warriors in the finals? Any good news out there with the current roster and preseason updates as I haven't watched it until now. I'll watch it when I get home maybe the replay ones.

Yeah, that could be possible that the Cavs and GS Warriors will meet again in the finals because of their line-up that was too heavy compared  to the other team. Even the other teams ugrading too their line-up in this season, still no match with GS Warriors and Cavs and we already know it who will get in the finals.

I'd say that Dwayne Wade put on a very fine performance for the Cavalier in his debut game for them against the hawks in their preseason, Even though they ultimately lost the game they proved that they are going to be a force to be reckoned with this season in the NBA.

He's starting to get some Heat and I'd say that he's comfortably playing with his new team together with his former team that's now his teammate again. There will be a time for adjustment and the preseason is quite a good dry run for their team and to be specific, for him. They've got the balls now and finally keep on thinking some good team plays that they can show to their next match.
This is just a feel out game for Wade. Its only pre-season so there's nothing to worry about. He will definitely be comfortable because of Lebron with him again. Just wait till the regular season starts and we will see him and Lebron doing their thing again. My only concern is that he is already ageing, how will body will cope with the demand of high intensity game, in and out. And the rest of the team can remain healthy throughout the season, they will be a force to reckon with will emerge as the top seed this season once more.

I just think the opposite.
Just because Lebrom plays with him again, he may attempt to steal the show from him and it may reduce the Wade's self-esteem.
Anyway I believe that Cleveland this season are much more stronger then they were at the last season and this year they actually have a chance to win Golden State.
Great season ahead.

Yap, I know right that it's just a preseason and there's no big deal with it. There's no even standing records for that so we don't have to think heavy on those games. I like the chemistry of them since they started to play together with Miami Heat and I always wanted to see them play altogether again and now this is for real. That's why I have a big trust on this tandem and good thing that there's no more Irving on Cavs, they can now hit the championship trophy.
I think we should really wait for the start of regular season of NBA because we gotta have to see the teams have to got in that time. Pre-season is just a warm up for all teams because they wanna show what they've got for start of the most awaiting season of basketball of NBA this year. Why do I say is most awaiting because I see a lot of superteams clinging for ring this season and I really want to watch it coming for few more weeks.

Well this preseason is up until 10 of October and we have to wait and just watch those games and look on those new rosters. This is quite helpful to us who are sports betting because we'll be able to see them live playing and we can't only speculate with it and instead we will be the analysts when the regular season of NBA finally starts. Only few more sleeps left and we'll see the first match up Boston Vs. Cavs & Rockets Vs. GSW.

2 consecutive lose on warriors, is it a good sign even pra-season ?

No one really cares about the plays and matches on the preseason. There's nothing to worry about and do you think that the Golden State Warriors will just let their team lose for consecutive times. They have a reputation to take care of and they won't allow that they can hit any single win or they just want to show something or try an experiment when they played on the preseason. Let's look on the upcoming season and not with this likely tryouts match.

Can someone share their thoughts on the recent revamp with NBA. I read somewhere that there's no more East vs West thing but instead there will be captains will draw from a pool on which player will be the starter and which player will be the reserve. This is a good idea I think since there are teams that are really ramping up their line up creating a super team.

No it's not a good idea if you will bring that to the whole. East vs West is the foundation why NBA finals is exciting. Also you can't avoid super teams since there is a thing called salary cut. The only way to avoid a superstar to signed into his favorite team is under table transaction with the NBA commissioner if you know what I mean.

Looks like you missed the information on what you saw. What you read is only applied for All-Star Game and that is a good idea if applied. We can see that officially this coming All-Star game next year.

I read just now that there will be a revamp on All Star game, not on the whole system of NBA. It will take time to discussed if that will happened. I think in choosing the captain, it must be the leading player who will get the most votes.

My guesses are: Lebron James for the East and Dirk Nowitzki for the West. Why Dirk? It has some speculation that retiring is just minutes away to him.

Like what I guess and Im correct, the captain will be decided based on top voters. Last year, Lebron James and Steph Curry leads the voting at their respective conference so likely if it will be repeat, they will be captains.

For some who are unaware about the new All-Star Game format next year, you can read some here: http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/20905491/nba-all-star-game-switch-formats-captains-pick-team-conference-affiliations

Nothing to worry about, its pre-season. The starters for every team play about 50% and they only play about 1 quarter, all of this to avoid injuries for games that dont matter.
Wont be surprised if they have a losing record in the preseason, this is a chance for the Rookies and bench players to show what they have.
Jimmy Butler and KAT had 16 points each, Wiggins looked regular, just made a few 3-pointers.
KAT (which for me is the most skilled Center in the NBA right now) had 16 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assist for the night. Him and Jimmy Butler played really well.
Really like this Timberwolves team, lets see how they play when the real season starts.

Nah, nobody cares about pre-season. It's like training for them.
You could have seen that nobody from first team from Warriors played last quarter.

Don't worry, when right time comes, Warriors will be dominative as they were in previous years Wink

Agree, One thing that I also want to see is how Kevin Love will adjust with his new role as the starting center. I haven't seen the games but I read that he did well putting good numbers. This is one of the adjustment that coach Tyron has done to the team. Remember there are also speculation that Love will be dealt with as well in the trade, but it didn't happened. So I guess they are experimenting on how they can maximize his potential and contribution to the team. And moving him to the starting center position would be a good moved.

Revolution in the next all star game! the East vs West match will be eliminated,
This year, will be the 2 captains (most voted for each conference) to choose the other players and then for the first time in the history of the All Star Game (since 1951) there will be mixed teams!

The next All Star Game will play on February 18, 2018 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

That's not even the real league so that's nothing for them. Let's wait and assume with the start of this season since that was just a preseason.

It's good to watch him play now again with Lebron and this is just the start, it's like an appetizer for the whole league and for them, let's wait for some more.

players like him should retire with pride i know how he loves to play but the competition now is really hard maybe he should consider giving a chance to a young guns Dirk can be qualified as like the two Hakeem of NBA he didnt need the strong body to compete yet he just need speed and shooting capability to win a ring and a MVP award.

Im a long time fan of Dallas Mavericks because of Dirk Nowitzki. Although Im rooting another chance for Dirk to have another ring looks like chances are low. He can play this full upcoming season and can consider retiring after this.

He already proved himself and honestly Im not expecting they will grab a championship. Im happy that they able to enter the finals on 2006 and I thought that will be the last because there are lots of dominant teams back then and the competition is equal unlike today. But they able to beat the superteam of Miami Heat last 2011 which is a great achievement. His leadership back then is awesome since for the first 2 games or I think until Game 3 of the finals, his teammates were all like not playing in their 100% maybe because of pressure. But in the end they grab the Larry O' Brien Championship Trophy and the nice ring that anyone wants.

I too had been their followers since their era with Michael Finley and Steve Nash. Just sad that Steve Nash didn't able to win championship but have a great stats including his season highlights that he grab the NBA season MVP.

Dirk Nowitzki is the only humble player I have known in the league that have the same attitude on Tim Duncan. I didn't seeing them do dirty plays and just playing the game on what it should be.
I definitely agree with you, he is a humble player and he even allowed his salary to be cut so the team can acquire great players.
So far, there is nothing that can really beat the record of Dirk with the current line up, he is good at his prime and I am not seeing any player who has
his kind of skills.

That is why he was named teammate of the year during the nba awards. Such great respect for him but i do agree that right now, Dallas has low chance of even making it to the playoffs. There current best player is harrison barnes who is still underrated could i guess do better if he has a good point guard in there team.
