the hornet game against the clippers was a very unpredictable game given that these two teams in the last few games have had excellent performance with many defeats and the scariest part is that they had defeats in which they had a big difference in points, both teams have serious problems defensive, so I was thinking that as both teams were coming from consecutive defeats in which they had a large difference in points, then in this game I could see a lot of points, given that both teams are weak in defense, but from what I see the weakness of both teams in the The attack didn't allow them to score many points. In any case, congratulations to the clippers on the victory, with this victory they leave the cycle of defeats

Utah crushed the San Antonio Spurs, it was an indisputable victory with an advantage of 12 points, what is most interesting about this game is that in the first period Utah lost by a difference of 5 points, it seemed that in the second period they would have difficulties too and were losing, but what we saw in the second period was a more focused Utah team and they managed to come away with victory and an advantage of 9 points, it was a very positive recovery that created conditions for the third period to win again by a difference of 3 points and in the fourth period they won again and this time by a difference of 5 points. With this victory, Utah has a streak of 3 consecutive victories

I think this credit goes to coach Spo for being good enough in developing unknown players.
Credit to him for giving JJJ the time on the court but I can't say the same about developing him as a player. I mean they haven't really spent a lot of time together for us to say he added something to his arsenal. Jaime's smooth transition to the NBA is probably more down to the sound basketball foundation he got from four years in college. No flashy handles and explosive leaps but I bet his footwork and moves in the post are already there prior to the NBA. Not to mention his awareness and off-ball movements.
It was his ring IQ that he developed during 4 years of college, so he is very much ready in his first year in the NBA. How surprising that he wasn't included in the conversation of players that could pontentially win a ROY, but now his name is already included due to his impressive performance with the Heat. I bet he'll continue to earn decent minutes after what he showed on their last game, and knowing coach Spo style, he based on performance of a player, that's why everyone in the team has a chance.

I still remember when Robinson was almost shut down, probably due to his poor defense, his minutes have dropped in the past season but now he is back providing spark for the team. So if a player played well, he'll earn minutes, that's how it work with Miami Heat.

Meanwhile, the Pistons, the main underdogs of this regular season, lost once again, and their losing streak reached 27 games. Ironically, their next game will be against the Celtics, and it's obvious that the Pistons will have no chance to win that game. Thus, we can already say that the Pistons will repeat the 76ers' record and most likely even surpass it.

Be careful with that one. Worst team vs  Best team, everyone will be on the best team and that's where we will not see that upset is bound to happen. LOL.. Just my theory though, but if I would have to bet, I would stay away from that game, not even gonna watch it as there are more interesting games to watch during that same day schedule.

It happens, the best teams lost to the worst teams. Worse teams unexpectedly snapping winning streaks. But the Celtics have never lost at home and is a ruthless team. This is almost certain the Pistons will tie the 76ers record. What is unpredictable is the number of points the Celtics lead in case you gambled. I am also staying away from matches like this. I will consider watching the Pistons if they are matched with the Spurs for the battle of the worst teams in the league. How hard it is for the owners of the Pistons, $137 million in wages to players alone but only won two matches.

Sixers still without Joel as they face the Magic next. Some bettors would probably expect an almost guaranteed win for the Magic but I wouldn't be too sure about that. Sixers still has a good line up.
I agree that they have a good line up but we can't deny that they are not as good as they are when they are complete.
Missing their best player has a big impact, the reason why they lose on their previous game, and with the record of the Magic at home which is 11-3, it's hard to neglict that. I'm with the home team here with the -3 spread.

[....]
but yeah Jaime Jaquez Jr seeing his stats was really amazing, but that blocking was really what I like about the kid and for sure he didn't let the defense of the Miami Heat gets taken over, latest game on the 76ers he got 31 points for that game and even without Jimmy "Emo" Butler they still win the game and that was thanks to Bam Adebayo and Jaime Jaquez Jr,
I'm not taking anything away from the Heat but they're not that handicapped to "still" win the game. I would say both teams were evenly matched without their main player. No Butler for Heat but also no Embiid for the Sixers.
JJJ is one of the main reason of the Heat's success. Jimmy will not be pressured coming back knowing his team is doing well even without him. I think this credit goes to coach Spo for being good enough in developing unknown players.

Yes, another great upset and too bad for basketball fans who bet on the Kings as we thought that this is going to be an easy game for the Kings. Sabonis and Fox have a great game, but if you don't have the support cast, even if this two scores 50 point apiece it will be not enough.

It's Blazers homecourt and they take advantage of it by shooting hot in the outside.

First quarter was close until the Trailblazers put up a show in the second quarter and never look back. Although they allow Sabonis to bully himself inside, but the team really give everything to pull this upset.
I believe that not only me, but several people were surprised, I thought it would be an easy game for the Kings.

Currently, Fox and Sabonnis are doing an incredible job in Sacramento, in my opinion they are at Allstar level, but for this to happen, I believe they need to work even harder to get a great seed for the Kings in this NBA season (playoffs)

As I said before, Blazzers did a great collective job against Kings, several players scored and helped the team, even though Fox and Sabonis played extremely well, it wasn't enough to overcome the teamwork that Portland did in the last game.

Biggest upset today!

Kings fall to the struggling Trail Blazers. Final score 113-130, it was a blowout win by the Trail Blazers, and I'm one of the victims who bet on the Kings thinking they'll get the win and cover the high spread.

Looks like the Kings are tired of playing on the road, LOL... Losing to the Blazers is embarassing, especially that they are building their team to be a playoff team.
Unfortunately, the same for me, I confess that I was surprised with the defeat of Sacramento
Sabonis and Fox had an excellent performance, in fact they carried the team on their shoulders, on the other hand, the Blazers had an interesting performance because most of the players, including the reserves, scored relatively well in that game.

I believe that a crucial point that also favored the Kings' defeat was the 3-point shots, they only had 23.8%, while the Blazzers had 40.00%, which in my point of view was a high percentage of success.

That's probably it, and you know sometimes even how good a team is, they also have their off night, and it so happened that Sacramento Kings had an off night and Blazers had taken advantage on that. 40% shooting, that's vey high, and it's not surprising at all that the Kings opponnents could shoot at a high percentage since they aren't really a good defensive team, what's lacking on them here is their offense and that's the reason why they loss.

And it just shows that the game is really unpredictable, even in the Pistons vs Nets, I thought that Detroit might pull an upset and stop their losing streak because they took a good lead in the first quarter. But the Nets doesn't want to be the team that will give them their win so Cam and company come back blazing in the next 3 quarters.

I'm thinking the same for the Kings though, they can easily go back and erase a double digit lead in the 3rd and then take it in the 4th quarter.

But Portland shooting from the outside really kills that idea that the Kings can make a huge comeback, just like they did in the past.

Wow! I did not even know Luka is already inside the top 5 when it comes to the ongoing MVP race. The odds here say Luka is at #4 after Embiid, Jokic and
He had been doing it all for the Mavericks team while Kyrie Irving was away so I guess that was the reason for his stats climbing up. Plus, headband Luka is really different in the last 10 games and he had been putting stats on both offensive and defensive ends of the floor.

Luka alone had outscored these two superstars of the Phoenix Suns, that's why they really hate Luka so much.

I'm impressed by how Luka made the Mavericks a really good thing, I think at this point we can already conclude that Luka doesn't need a superstar to play along with him, he just need more role players that are ready to play their roles and accept that Luka is their leader. With that said, I hope the Mavericks will realize early and will think of trading Kyrie.

It was really a good performance by Luka and the Mavericks and that's one of their best game this season, with this scenario and the result of the game, the Phoenix should wish they don't cross with the Mavericks in the NBA playoffs because if they ever play against each other, the same scenario will happen and they will instantly gonna get their ticket to be out on the league. They should not trade Kyrie because they helped them a lot in their recent games and made them get the number 5 spot in the Western Conference today, if they wished it to stay like that, they should preserve him.
I do like how Kyrie Irving was playing before he was injured. He ain't forcing himself to be a star, he lets Luka do the work and Luka trusts him back by giving him the ball whenever they need a quick score. We know Kyrie could do that either by attacking the rim, a perimeter, or a three-point shot.
Swallowing his pride is what I am surprised the most and I think that's a good thing if he still badly wants a championship. He only got one, I don't think any championship-caliber player like him will be contented with that considering his skill set and how well he plays. There's a chance he might get one more and this time with Luka Doncic who had been phenomenal at looking for his offensive ability and also with his playmaking style.
I think the Mavericks will go as high as the West Finals and if they work harder they might be playing for the NBA Finals. Luka is just too damn good, let's see if he will be healthy until the end of this season.

-snip-
They've got a steal on him and he's the other JJJ but the triple J that I am talking about is Jaime Jaquez Jr or Miami Heat and making his name for himself.

A rookie that has got confidence inside the ring. Incomparable with Chet and Wemby because they've got their own height advantages but Jaime has got his moves as if he's been a pro for so long but just stepped to NBA this season.

I like how Coach Spo is giving the guy playing time and he's able to see the growth of this young man and one day he'll also be their superstar.

Oh that JJJ hehe sorry I thought we were talking about the Grizzlies here hehe but yeah Jaime Jaquez Jr seeing his stats was really amazing, but that blocking was really what I like about the kid and for sure he didn't let the defense of the Miami Heat gets taken over, latest game on the 76ers he got 31 points for that game and even without Jimmy "Emo" Butler they still win the game and that was thanks to Bam Adebayo and Jaime Jaquez Jr,

I confess that I was very surprised by Luka's performance in this game.
I believe Durant and Booker played below their potential, while Luka scored 50 points (Durant, Booker and Gordon combined for 50 points)  Shocked
I was convinced that it would be a much more balanced game and would never have expected Luka to perform like that yesterday, by the way, Kyrie Irving didn't play, imagine if he had played!? I believe the Mavs would win the game easily.

Dallas next game will be against the Cavs, I imagine it will also be an interesting game to watch, because lately the Cavaliers are proving that they are improving every year, even with LJ's absence.

Yep! Devin Booker again got the Luka Special and you can clearly see that Luka Doncic still had something for the Phoenix Suns the beef is still there 15 assists and 50 points for this game with Dereck Lively II's double-double of 10 rebounds and 20 points, a and Derrick Jones Jr. 23 points, while the Suns Kevin Durant and Devin Booker just didn't do much for that game while Grayson Allen was the player for their team that could make 32 points on that game but for sure Luka Doncic still got that Luka Special for the Phoenix Suns,

Pelicans vs Memphis, I think this two have been building up rivalry, when Ja returns back to play as they have beaten them with Ja's buzzer beater.

But it's time for Pelican to bring back the favor, they are leading by double digits advantage at their homecourt. But when Ja is still in the floor, we don't know if he will suddenly explode anytime to close the score again. So let's see if he still has some left in the tank in the 4th quarter.

They loss a winnable game. This Memphis can't loss man, because once again, they win the game in a thriller OT.

Ja Morant and company were playing great basketball, everyone was contributing with their suffocating defense, and their win streak continue.
Just a one point win but that was all garbage time, Memphis already build a good lead in the OT ensuring them a big win.

Luka proved again he’s Devon Booker’s nightmare. Dropping 50 on Christmas in a win over the Suns is embarrassing. Booker better get this rivalry figured out or it’s going to start eating away at his legacy.
Luka's playing like the Suns is his home. Trash talked to the fans, made some plays, and now he has a record of scoring 50 points in a Christmas game. The last one who did that? Michael Jordan decades ago. He's very comfortable playing in the Suns' arena because of the rivalry between him, and his son, Devin Booker.

As for the Suns, there has been a report from Woj saying that Durant is already frustrated with the team because of how they're performing this season. I mean many are expecting them to be better ever since they got Bradley Beal, and many also expected them to be a top contender, but looking at the standings, they're not even in the play-in spot. They're currently at the 11th spot and have a record of 14-15. Durant is frustrated because of Beal's injury as well. Durant has a few years left, and if he feels that the Suns will not be a title contender this season, I'm afraid that he will request a trade again which might happen just by looking at how they're playing this season.

This might be my last time speaking out of the Pistons anymore because even their fans booed them after breaking the record and getting their 27th consecutive loss. The longest single-season streak in NBA history. In their first losses, I laughed at them, but in their last few losses, I'm a bit disappointed, and at the same time sad because of what's happening with the team.

Cade Cunningham's career is being wasted on this wasted team. He's getting all-star stats, but his team losses still. I hope he requests a trade and go to another team.

Spurs urgently need to add any player whose position is point guard to its roster. The point sochan experiment of popovich, who normally doesn't get involved in such ambitious things, has turned into a disappointment and tre jones can't give what is expected. Even if rajon rondo came now, he would put our idle youngsters in order, the situation is that dire. The importance of the point guard can be seen by looking at Houston this year. As soon as fred vanvleet arrived, the team started to get wins. It was a mistake for the spurs not to approach vanvleet more seriously.

This season the San Antonio Spurs are playing very badly. Until now the Spurs are ranked at the bottom of the caretaker in the Western Conference.
And today the Spurs will play meet the Sacramento Kings, ranked 4th in the Western Conference.
I think with a game that is still bad the Spurs will experience defeat when competing against the Sacramento Kings today.
