Alperen Şengün made a career night but Rockets still lost. Alperen Şengün is the third youngest player to make 30 points, 15 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals stats. Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson were the first and second youngest players in this statline. Haliburton and Pacers were better, especially Myles Turner in last seconds. I like how Pacers play generally but they were in bad form since in-season tournament was over. Now they got back on track with this win. Their aim should be 6th place so they don't have to worry about play-in games.
Oh yeah! That dude is really amazing. IMO, he will have a place for the All-Star when the time is ripe. I am actually hoping it will be this year.
Well, about their loss against the Pacers, it's given as Haliburton went wild. Cheesy

How about the Philadelphia 76ers defeating the Orlando Magic at their home while the 76ers are undermanned without Embiid? Wow! They are the underdog in this game and lucky are those who trusted them because I bet you made some good money today.
How did they do it? Defense! 10 steals that made the Magic turnovers to 17. Lesser turnovers for the 76ers with just 10. That's the recipe for a win, defense, and protecting the ball.
Both teams didn't shoot well at the three-point line but the 76ers somehow made a good amount in points in the paint. Tyrese Maxey led the team with 23 points and next to him were Harris and Melton who scored 22.
But for me, Paul Reed was the best player of the game as those 10 rebounds are important without Embiid on the floor. Lucky are those who took the bet before the game started and was announced that Embiid would not be able to play.

Right, we have witnessed Cade shredding tears if I'm not mistaken as they have lost another game. I'm not sure though if they have time to fix it, I mean just look at the body language of this players, they surely doesn't want to be in this space.

I heard a lot of fans really getting mad, even in their reddit, if you follow them they are some fans that ridicule this group that you don't want to read what this fans are saying to their team. And I guess as you have said, they are going to carry this one for years until someone erases that record.

Huge frustrations are now in side with Piston since they are now mentally in trouble because it seems they are in situation where they are so desperate on situation they are on. Losing such huge streak is so awkward especially their fans is totally ashamed on how they perform. I feel sorry for Cade but they need to step up and win their game since if they let those frustrations eat them then for sure they might continue to get a defeat. As said they also need to have good adjustment and coach have other plan to make this things work right since their play is totally a huge means and their defense is so poor and that contribute on why they encounter another defeat.

[...]I think this is a good year for Sixers, but it's a tough Eastern conference with the Boston Celtics and Giannis lead Bucks.
Writing off the Heat again huh? It's all good though since we're already used to them being the dark horse every playoffs. Key players from previous seasons already left but Herro and Robinson are stepping up then they have the Jaime.

Yes it's always going to be tough with those two teams around but I also think the Sixers is better as a team with their current roster. They are harder to predict with so many guys capable of running their offense.

Meanwhile, the Pistons, the main underdogs of this regular season, lost once again, and their losing streak reached 27 games. Ironically, their next game will be against the Celtics, and it's obvious that the Pistons will have no chance to win that game. Thus, we can already say that the Pistons will repeat the 76ers' record and most likely even surpass it.

Actually with their recent loss they already set a new record.  Wink

Now all they have to do it keep losing to make it a record for the ages.
I just saw this losing streak is not only history in the NBA but also in whole US sports, meaning no MLB, NFL or NHL team as well lost that many games in a row.  Roll Eyes

I wonder how far the streak can go on. Do betting site accept bets on the streak? WOuld be interesting to know what the under/over looks like at the moment.  Cheesy

I think there is, if I'm not mistaken, someone already posted as to what odds that the Pistons are going to break their slump. And it's just too bad though that it be their city that will have the worse record in any team sports in US history and it could really bring some problems mentally to the players itself, like Cunningham or even Wiseman who seasons ago are playing on a championship caliber team in GSW.  And as one fans said, "it's hard to represent a team that is doing so bad". And Detroit Pistons are being trolled everywhere including their own fans. I haven't heard any reaction for former Detroit great players though. Maybe it's time to look at it as what like Isiah Thomas will have to say on the current state of his former team.

That's awkward record written in history and for sure those players part with this is really been ashamed because they experience this on their career.

But they still got some time to fix this and also their coaching staff should help this kid so that they can help their team to win at least one game since this might be a game changer for them and their confidence will be back since they might get boosted to win more games.

For sure Pistons fans are more pissed of now that they record this long streak loss on NBA so I guess they need total revamp on their roster or even the coaches handle their team since its like they had a problem in that area.

Great win as well by the Sixers, even without Joel Embiid, they travel at Amway and beat a good solid team in Orlando Magic. And as far as betting goes, they are the underdog, so no one expect that they can pull this win on the road.

Melton is back and so he had a good game together with Maxey and Tobias Harris. Morris in the first quarter was cooking as well as he take advantage of Cole Anthony guarding him. I think this is a good year for Sixers, but it's a tough Eastern conference with the Boston Celtics and Giannis lead Bucks.

^^ But then again, even though Luka has another big numbers against the Cavs, they still lost in the end. As what the announcer say, pesky Cavs and even they enjoyed a big lead going into the 4th quarter, the Cavs keeps coming back and eventually take the lead and that was enough and then they double team him in the dying seconds and Curry didn't get a good look.

So after beating Booker and KD the other night, they've lost a bad and ugly game that is winnable for them.

39 big points for Luka, but Cavs has more solid balance scoring and they have the heart, specially Lavert who lead the Cavs tonight.

I do like how Kyrie Irving was playing before he was injured. He ain't forcing himself to be a star, he lets Luka do the work and Luka trusts him back by giving him the ball whenever they need a quick score. We know Kyrie could do that either by attacking the rim, a perimeter, or a three-point shot.
Swallowing his pride is what I am surprised the most and I think that's a good thing if he still badly wants a championship. He only got one, I don't think any championship-caliber player like him will be contented with that considering his skill set and how well he plays. There's a chance he might get one more and this time with Luka Doncic who had been phenomenal at looking for his offensive ability and also with his playmaking style.
I think the Mavericks will go as high as the West Finals and if they work harder they might be playing for the NBA Finals. Luka is just too damn good, let's see if he will be healthy until the end of this season.
To be fair, Luka has some special hatred towards the Suns, one season they faced and Booker made fun of it when they were leading the series, dude literally turned the series all by himself and won it just because he was mocked.

But, I do dislike all the Luka love that he is seeing recently, I have been a big Luka fan even before he got to NBA, and I said that no matter who has the first pick, should get Luka as the first big, nobody in that draft was even remotely as good as Luka, dude is a superstar and he was Euroleague MVP even before getting to NBA, at age 18, that's something magical and teams made a HUUUUGE mistake not getting him, I literally said this on reddit before he was drafted, months before.
Luka was only the pick number 3, probably the reason behind is that they are doubtful an europian player could do well in the NBA, or would carry the same skils. There was a Europian player before named Andrea Bargnani the number 1 overall pick in 2006, he didn't do well in the NBA, I mean he is not playing like a number 1 pick, so most likely that's one of the reasons considered as Europian players could not compete with the NBA at a high level, plus they are slower compared to the NBA players, however Luka was different.

he was drafter by the Hawks but was traded for Trae Young, I think both teams already had an agreement before that trade happen.

But, the thing I dislike about him now is the fact that he looks like he doesn't care, he is not aiming at grinding hard, why do I think like that?

Well, Suns game is the proof, when he puts his mind into it, he could take Mavs to near title levels, and he just doesn't, if only he cared about every game like he cared about Suns games.

You can only say based on our opinion, but if we look at his number, you can easily tell that he is bringing his A game day in, day out.

The Detroit Pistons are the laughing stock in the NBA right now for being the worst team in the history of the NBA. They are even being ridiculed that they people don't think they can easily win against the Las Vegas Aces. That next game against the Celtics would be an automatic 28 losses. The Celtics are on fire right now and there's no way they can lose against the worst team otherwise those who take the risk in putting a bet against the Celtics would get a huge win.

I don't know what's going on with the Pistons, I mean they have got young talent. Ivey, Duren, and Cunningham and they even got Bogdanovic who is an offensive threat. I think they need to change the coaching staff.

The Detroit Pistons played well when Grant Hill was still playing there.
Now Grant Hill is also the owner of the NBA club, the Atlanta Hawks.
Although grant hill when playing at the detroit pistons was unable to bring the team to the NBA championship.
but at that time the detroit game was quite dazzling.
because his time grant hill NBA is still in the control of michael jordan

I also don't know what's happening with the Pistons, they even have reasonable players, like Bogdanović and Cunningham, but 27 defeats in a row is something surreal, I was surprised that the Pistons could break the record for the team with the longest streak defeats including the NFL, NHL and MLB.
In fact, I believe it's crazy to bet on the Pistons in this NBA season...

What is one of the reasons why Detroit is having such an extremely poor performance this season? Lack of chemistry between the players? A bad staff/coach and technical committee? Or another variable that I didn't mention?

Well, I have zero trust for the Detroit Pistons winning a game but they can surely win a close game and it would be unexpected, right now the Detroit Pistons is the team that was in the last position for the Eastern, while the San Antonio Spurs was the team in the Western that is on the last position, it was really unfortunate for them as they haven't shown great offense and defense for sure, that is why both these team are always the underdog, but there are times that they are winning some games so a great bet on the underdog and it will surely depend on something, but it is a good risk,

A close game from the Pistons wouldn't be unexpected. If you look at the results of the last four games, you'll notice that they've been losing by a few points. For example, the Pistons lost 6 points against the Hawks, 8 points against the Jazz, and they lost their last two games against the Nets by 11 and 6 points, respectively. I mean, sometimes it seems like the Pistons can break their losing streak, but at the same time, they don't get lucky or lack something else in the endings of games like this.

The misfortunes of the Pistons will end soon. But not to a ruthless Celtics team but rather to another team in their next matches. Pistons is 11x on the match with the Celtics. The next gambling odds could be 7x to 11x in their next matches. Perhaps it is not terrible to put down a bet in their next 7 to 10 matches.

But this is truly awful when it is consistent that a group of teams remain at the bottom of the table. I keep thinking about whether the owners have revenues. Ticket costs will be modest. TV channels would favor the other NBA matches assuming they had the decision of which teams to broadcast.

Pelicans vs Memphis, I think this two have been building up rivalry, when Ja returns back to play as they have beaten them with Ja's buzzer beater.

But it's time for Pelican to bring back the favor, they are leading by double digits advantage at their homecourt. But when Ja is still in the floor, we don't know if he will suddenly explode anytime to close the score again. So let's see if he still has some left in the tank in the 4th quarter.

Yeah I think with zion going 1 and ja going 2 in their respective draft I think they have a one on one battle going on too.  Both these teams so long as they are full strength will be in the mix in the playoffs for years to come.  Both very young and they match up really well against each other.  We need more of these rivalries in basketball everyone is becoming too friendly anymore.

I'm not taking anything away from the Heat but they're not that handicapped to "still" win the game. I would say both teams were evenly matched without their main player. No Butler for Heat but also no Embiid for the Sixers.

Oh yes, Emo Butler did not play in that game and yes Joel Embiid has an injury, for sure it was a very close game and everyone could surely have won this, if not for Jaime Jaquez Jr. also known as Triple J or JJJ, who is scoring like a freak for the Miami Heat, And Jimmy Butler will be so proud for sure, while the 76ers doesn't have Joel Embiid but they still have decent players and that is Tobias Harris, and Kelly Oubre Jr. but still the Miami Heat still wins the game, and I was on the edge of my seat while watching it,

They keep winning against them since the return of Ja Morant and every game is thrilling to the point that it always results in a jaw-dropping buzzer-beater by Morant. Now eyes are on their next game vs the Denver Nuggets and this will be another tough game because they're against a defending championship team. I hope they can preserve their winning streak even after playing against the Nuggets because they are really on fire right now and they are hard to extinguish by just a normal team their test is at its peak when they step on the court against the Nuggets in their next game.
