So Kyrie Irving is tired of being a sidekick to Lebron James and wants to shine without a superstar? Or become a main man?

Probably he is and now wants to make his break and while it is still early let's see if he can shine alone with his new chosen team. I think he wanted to become a main man and that's why he is making sure that he will get out first with his former team. And also I'm thinking that he lost his faith that Cavs can hit championship.

I think he is disappointed with the result of the NBA finals. Remember they climbed back from 1-3 deficit and won. GSW must be very disappointed with the results but they remain intact and added a another piece, which is Durant. However, on the contrary Kyrie left and look for a new team. Well San Antonio is not a push over, but in ever they face GSW in the semis next season, he will still see the ghost of GSW again. So think the reason for leaving is:

1. He doesn't want to be just a sidekick to Lebron
2. He doesn't trust that the Cavs can win the championship again with the current team
3. He has beef with Lebron that pushes him to go out and look for other team
He got the the championship already once in his life and he made a good contribution to win that title although majority of the people believe that it was lebron alone who it possible. Well, if he can really decide to join other team then that would be better as he tries to explore what more he can do, also he is still young and it's just right to look for better salary like  a salary of a real star.

So Kyrie Irving is tired of being a sidekick to Lebron James and wants to shine without a superstar? Or become a main man?

Remember Cleveland Cavaliers without Lebron James? Kyrie Irving from 2011-2014 can't even bring his team into playoffs. He must used that time to shine rather than just to plan it for today. And if we look today and in the past season with Lebron James, Kevin Love and the rest of the Cavaliers squad, can they played well without Lebron on the floor? Can Kyrie lift them up? Cavaliers are having a worst record this past season if James is out. Kyrie, don't think it's an easy task to carry a team on your own.

Yes, that's what I'm saying all along. He doesn't want to be the sidekick to Bron but did he proved anything when Lebron is not with Cleveland? No. Well you can argue that he matured and Cavs has a better player compared to what he have before. Perhaps there are some kind of beef between the two that push Kyrie to leave. Again, I think Cavs will still be good without Kyrie, and Lebron will have his best next season statistical wise.

So Kyrie Irving preferred Spurs as his destination. It's clearly that his reason wasn't to become a face of the franchise nor mvp title. I guess he want's more ring and maybe he thinks that he can't get it anymore at Cavs or maybe he wants a teammate that isn't acting like he is the boss.
that's right i think kyrie doesn't want to have someone who will control him inside lebron act like a boss and he and irving can't connect anymore
but sure thing if irving will move to san antonio it will be a big addition to this franchise they will be a good contender now from the west side.
Irving and Lebron haven't a dynamic duo just like Kobe and Shaq. Irving is one of the best 1 on 1 player and it's big problem if Kyrie will be traded. Cavs should find a fit player that is good passer and scorer that replaced Kyrie's position that can team up with Lebron and Love. I think Rose doesn't fit to Cavs either Melo and if Kyrie will traded, San Antonio should keep their veteran players.
I think it will be a good move for kyrie to go to spurs so he will be develop according to his rule, coach Pop are known as one of the
best coach in the NBA and the Spurs played like a team which is more easier compared to relying on players who played one on one.

I feel for Derrick Rose right now. There are not a lot of teams interested in signing him, especially for another huge contract, as we all know that most teams have already hit the salary caps and only very few with some money left to spend on smaller contracts. Gone are the days when he would command a big money contract, even from endorsements. He might have to settle for a small contract and maybe work his way up and prove that he still deserves big money even after his injuries.
Before the injury he was sensational but injuries after injuries slowly kill his carrier, I miss the old DRose but it seems like it's hard for him to bring that back again. He is not the same as his old self but he can still play and that is important, slowly if he can recover I think he can make another big contract and he still young so I believe he can still grow if he will really do his best. Paul George was once suffered a serious injury but he made his way back and prove to everyone that he can still play, now he paired up with Westbrook, I think he will make a name in Thunder as well.

Sad truth but this applies not only to Derick rose but also on other players. Remember the number one pick Greg oden? Who gave up his knee and became a bench player. Paul George is lucky because his legs are alive and kicking. Of course Derick rose is one of the best in his days. One of the fastest in the league and really great leaping ability but his body can't catch up to his talent.

I don't know if the new rooster of the new nba season is a good one but superteams are being created these days and I think when a team has some money to offer, they can get a very good player and legacy is the least important these days. Everybody in the league is chasing rings but the legacy is missing.

Oppss. I've heard that Kyrie Irving is being traded.

The Wizards have signed Potter for 4 year making a $106.5 million max contract making him.the highest paid player next season at $24.8 million for the Wizards all i can say after this move is RIP Wizards honestly i have no idea why teams constantly are willing to pay guys who barely move the needle.

That's a big contract for Potter.

I don't know why there are teams that are paying big if they can get some rookies who are playing good.

Well we can't interfere with their decisions. It's their money.

There's big difference about Rookies and big contract old players. The rookies are under observeation if their performance will click with the season. Because other rookies were beast in their collegiate league but suffering in adoptation in the world of NBA. If the team wants to win the season they have to pay with it. Its their passion every players continuing improve themselves as their dream to bwcime a star.

Look on how much Derrick Rose' contract supposed to be in Cavs.. only $3.5 M if I'm not mistaken.

But well this is how the NBA management gives contract to the rookies, it's bigger than the older ones.

Because they are more powerful and has still strength to play better.

Because Derick Rose is not the same anymore. Post injury shows that he's explosiveness is somewhat not the same and plus he is injury prone. Last season he didn't complete the full 83 games if I'm not mistaken and miss a lot of (crucial?)games. If he is the same Rose that we knew when he once burst into the NBA, then he will surely get max contract and still with the Bulls. If he can proved after 1 season with Cavs then surely they will re-sign him with bigger contract.
yeah I don't think it's arguable that Rose was the vastly better player when healthy. Wall is more consistent and a better playmaker, but Rose was literally a one man show from the "point guard" position. I hate how people discount how good Rose really was - if he and Noah remained relatively healthy the Bulls probably have a Finals appearance or two in the past half decade the Wizards also have signed John Wall a a four year deal for a $170 million extension to be honest it's a massive overpay for a player can't shoot.
That was your opinion but I think wall is one of the best player now, he is a clutch player and he can make plays in order to win.
His shooting might not be good as curry or harden but he is improving and for now that's what matters.

BREAKING NEWS:

Kyrie Irving Requesting Trade From Cleveland Cavaliers

I verified first the story and I found it legit. To the link I provided, Im just disagree to the last part "Is this the end of LeBron James’ era?" LOL. Cavaliers with Kyrie when Lebron is not yet returning to The Land never entered the playoffs for 3 season and his first playoff experience just started when Big 3 of Cavaliers was formed.

Just amazed that even he already experienced championship, still he will give up his max contract in Cleveland worth lots of $$$$$$ in 2019.

Hmm. This is interesting indeed. He is worth millions of dollars and what give up on it? Did he think that he and Lebron can't make a good run together and be a champion again? Or he want to be a franchise player and proved that he got what it takes to be a champion without Lebron on his side? Or he and Lebron has some kind of beef? What do you think guys?

Maybe that is why Cavs is shopping and want to get to Derrick Rose. Contingency plans if ever Kyrie would leave. But I think its gonna be a different Cavs once Kyrie leaves. And where would Kyrie move that will make him the superstar that he wants?

He probably thought it would be better to try and make a championship run woth another team as lebron has too much control over what's going on in the franchise. Kid might have thought that teams are going to get a lot better trying to beat the warriors and notnhe cavs. There are whispers that he wants to be traded to a team from the west, most likely the spurs though i don't think there will be a good trading option for cleveland as kyrie's stick has considerably risen these past few years
It is all about wanting to be the key player on the team that he wants to play with.
He did mention during the press release he wanted to be the focal point on a team that he plays for and being paired with Lebron he will never reach that goal of his if he wants to run for another championship.
He was looking at going with New York, Miami, San Antonio or Minnesota.
I can see him picking the last one on that list of teams he wants to play for since Minnesota needs a veteran on their team as they are all young players there but with big potential.
All they need is a leader or focal point who they can all learn from and gather around when they need that leadership role filled in Irving.
Now he was acquired back in 2011 and is only 25 years old so is far off from Lebron's age of 32.
So he still has alot of years left to play. While Lebron probably only has about 5 more solid seasons to still play effectively.

I guessing that the only reason for Kyrie leaving is that he wants to be the main man and not second fiddle as what he is to Lebron James in Cavs. For sure, Lebron doesn't want this to happen, but if Kyrie wants to leave so be it. I think Lebron can easily adjusted without him and can still proved to his bashers and haters that he is still the 'King'. We can probably see Lebron getting big numbers again come next season and will bring the Cavs to the finals again. At 32, I think Lebron still has it in him. He takes care of his body and yes probably a good 5 years for him to play solidly.

At the moment, Derick Rose is negotiating with the Cavs, according to ESPN. The max that Rose can get in Cleveland is 2.5 mln per one season.

It seems that Cavs will bring half of league just to match with the Warriors. But... Wink

I can't say any word but it's about desperation. Cavs is getting desperate to get this season's championship. They sure are upset with what happened and they want to upgrade their roster. Well Rose is another good just like Lebron who is a one man team.

Yes, Dennick Rose seems like a desperate attempt.
Cleveland was wrong to lay off GM Griffin who had almost convinced Jimmy Butler. Cleveland can win his conference (probably against Boston) but is clearly inferior to Golden State. LBJ next year will surely change team

I'll wait for this if this is going to be a deal or not. But it's still up to Derrick Rose if he's going to accept this contract, $2.5 M seems to be small for him I don't have an idea on how much his current contract for his past team. If Cavs will still not become the champs for this conference, well I can see it too that Lebron will jump to another team.
well if kyrie will move out from cavs rose would be another lift for them lebron still can provide he just needed some guy who can also score like
kyrie always did if the management of cavs can bring rose as replacement of kyrie maybe they can still defend the east.

I don't think they are going to let Kyrie out of the team but if that is going to happen shuffling is everywhere and every team has been doing this. But I want to see Cavs playing with Kyrie his a very versatile player and he's one of the best tandems together with Lebron. Well who knows if Derrick Rose is better than him when it comes chemistry.
I am sure that Kyrie is also dismayed by the Cavaliers during the transfer, They haven't added any notable players to their squad and if they really want to win the championship come next year p, they need all the reinforcements that they can get, even The Golden State Warriors if all their star players are reinforcing, if Kyrie leaves then am sure the other big guns are surely going to leave too.

its a big challenge to lebron. I think lebron will not agree with it. Its his big challenge without kyrie. But if their team will trade player they have to make sure that that player will have kyrie's skills or better than kyrie but kyrie's skills will always be unique.

I don't know if Cavs is thinking about this matter but to me what matters most is that Kyrie is a big fish for the team. But if that is his personal decision to be traded we can't blame him. There is a possible cause that there are some boundaries between him and Lebron that he can't take it any longer so he decided to go out.

Cavs is still strong guys, it's a trade and Cavs will not let their guard down and reduce their strength. They've got Paul George right in trade for Kyrie? Hope that Love will remain.

So what, it's gonna be a GSW dynasty? Seems to me Kyrie doesn't want to be the 2nd man anymore. A big blow to the Cavs.
