At the moment, Derick Rose is negotiating with the Cavs, according to ESPN. The max that Rose can get in Cleveland is 2.5 mln per one season.

It seems that Cavs will bring half of league just to match with the Warriors. But... Wink

I can't say any word but it's about desperation. Cavs is getting desperate to get this season's championship. They sure are upset with what happened and they want to upgrade their roster. Well Rose is another good just like Lebron who is a one man team.

Yes, Dennick Rose seems like a desperate attempt.
Cleveland was wrong to lay off GM Griffin who had almost convinced Jimmy Butler. Cleveland can win his conference (probably against Boston) but is clearly inferior to Golden State. LBJ next year will surely change team

If Derrick Rose goes to Cavs, what role should he fit it? A backup to Irving? I don't know if this is a good moved from the Cavs management. I guess what others have speculate, this is a desperation move from their end. I think what they need is a good role player that can defend a opposing teams main man and not another superstar which career is going to the pipe. I know that Cavs owner has a lot of money to spent, but they should choose a player that will perfectly fit with the team and not to disrupt it.

I don't know what to think about this one, for me the Cavs should just take it easy and wait for a miracle (and upset in the Western conference or some injury). They are already in the NBA Finals unless Lebron gets injured, I don't see the Cavs even losing one game in these playoffs if they are healthy. Boston did ok but adding Hayward and a rookie won't stop James.

As for Rose, if he can fit into a role player model he could be a great addition, I'm more worried about his attitude honestly not about his fitness or skills.

Somehow true but maybe it was minimized now. Attitude can be changed, at least if he will feel the intimidating aura of Lebron James if they will play as a teammate on the same floor. I see Rose will step down here and will just do what kind of help he can bring to the CAVS.

But still prior to that contribution, the questioned if he can play at leats 50% of Cavaliers game throughtout the season. We all know that this guy is prone injury resulting minimal performance by him in every game.

With lots of games he missed because of injuries, he is lucky to get that offer.
Although Warriors still is more solid with their current team composition.

Rajon Rondo has signed his contract with the Pelicans. Rondo will get $3.3 million next season, as reported by Shams Charania.

There's no big deal and attraction for Rajon Rondo anymore. But this is still a good contract for him, old players seems to have lower their salaries also by the management. And yet he is now on a team that isn't that making some noise and attraction in the league. Good luck to him and for the rest of the Pelicans.

Well money-wise this may not seem to be a good deal but adding rondo to a team that has a very formidable and solid frontlibe makes the pelicans dangerous this coming season. We really can't take away what rondo can bring to this team experience and leadershipwise. Perhaps that's anthony johnson and cousins need to take this team to the next level

I feel for Derrick Rose right now. There are not a lot of teams interested in signing him, especially for another huge contract, as we all know that most teams have already hit the salary caps and only very few with some money left to spend on smaller contracts. Gone are the days when he would command a big money contract, even from endorsements. He might have to settle for a small contract and maybe work his way up and prove that he still deserves big money even after his injuries.
Before the injury he was sensational but injuries after injuries slowly kill his carrier, I miss the old DRose but it seems like it's hard for him to bring that back again. He is not the same as his old self but he can still play and that is important, slowly if he can recover I think he can make another big contract and he still young so I believe he can still grow if he will really do his best. Paul George was once suffered a serious injury but he made his way back and prove to everyone that he can still play, now he paired up with Westbrook, I think he will make a name in Thunder as well.

that's a good pick from the Pelicans with davis and cousins, rondo can build a good chemistry with this two superstars just wanted to see holiday
to be well communicate and create threat and open the space for davis and cousins, silently creating their own versions of super team glad they
took rondo as an addition.

I seriously doubt that Rondo can built a chemistry with the Pelicans specially with Cousins. We all know Cousins tantrums and this will make Rondo agitated when Cousins will have one of his antics like technical fouls specially in the crucial times of the game. Still a good pay though for Rondo assuming that he had already built a not so good reputation around the league. Goodluck to Pelicans for getting him. Wish him though to blend with the team, but I'm not seeing it will happen.

Time would tell on it and surely Rondo is big fit on their system since Rondo is still a veteran and eventhough they have little issue regarding to each other but surely they will manage to play since they are in the same team. And I'm sure that their team management coaches will boost them up to give their best to create winnings on their institution so chill out and everything will be ok for both on them and by this time pelicans is strong contender for playoff spot and thats for sure.
Rondo is a good player with the ability to run a play successfully, if he remained healthy they could have advance in the first round but unfortunately he was out. Now, that he will be playing with two superstars big man, I am sure he will make his stay worth with the Pelicans because it's his time to prove to get a good contract amount.

Looks like everyone is fine with their trades for now except for the Cavailiers who are probably going through worst case scenario with LeBron almost on his way out.

Carmelo isn't my favorite player particularly for his hobby of shooting bad shots he doesn't need to shoot, Kevin isn't much better in that aspect but at least getting more use to playing in Cleveland, Carmelo would need to through the process from the first year.

Regarding summer league, Lakers looking like a promising team right now, will be curious to see if they continue that next season, not putting much hope on them though considering their top players are rookies or 2 year players.

If we will compare these two players I would say that Kevin is much better and being loved by the people. I'm not underestimating Carmelo there is just an issue about his attitude and maybe he needs to fix it or try to make up his mind and play with a nice way so that people will love him back. I wish the both players a good luck for this season.
Yes Kevin is much better than carmelo not just because of its attitude but also in game. But lets see how Carmelo will do this coming season Boston in NBA finals.  Grin

I'm loving more to watch Kevin Love rather than Carmelo but we still don't know what's going to happen. If Carmelo is going to make some enhancement and going to adjust with his new team maybe we can see on how he is going to play well on that new team.

Looks like the Knicks aren't giving up on Melo, at least for this season. Would love to see him play on HOU though.

Is this for real? Oh come on..

Lonzo Ball exceptional game during the summer league and won the MVP. His is now making his way up to prove that he can really compete with other great players in the league. I just hope his dad won't destroy his reputation *somehow*.
Yeah, that was other people also said on social media about his father. Why not he just shut his mouth and just let her son prove what he got, not that he's preceded by egoism. That would reflect on his son and maybe his son will received so much of bashing because of what he's doing. He should stop it.
well its making him (Lonzo) more popular and more people are now actively checking his performance and how big will be his impact this coming season
and like other mate said he's father is a businessman he knows and maybe somebody's behind him knew that this will come and they need more publicity to sell this young boy's future.
yeah he looks to be a great talent in the futur and his stats were good for a rookie he seems very smart and dedicated to improving his game and every player who encountered him in summer league knew the hype behind him and a some probably tried to get him down on the court and he still won games and got triple doubles but he will have large boots to fill to keep up with last year's Summer League MVP . I'm hoping him and Ben Simmons becomes the rivalry in 5 years both starring as passing phenoms. I think Lonzo makes teams better at this point in due to the style he's been able to lead his whole life.

I think it will become more worst if Carmelo Anthony will combine with James Harden and Chris Paul. They are not perfectly fit based on their role. Although there is a thing called "chemistry", it will take time or if someone from there will adopt Harden system at the Rockets.

The only thing that New York Knicks can give Melo to stay from them is offering a max contract worth decent of $$$ which is not likely to happened. Im seeing no way for Melo that he will still play here next season I guess even revamp on NYK roster will be made.
