So that is now official that Kyrie can't really take it to play with Lebron anymore.

BREAKING NEWS:

Kyrie Irving Requesting Trade From Cleveland Cavaliers

I verified first the story and I found it legit. To the link I provided, Im just disagree to the last part "Is this the end of LeBron James’ era?" LOL. Cavaliers with Kyrie when Lebron is not yet returning to The Land never entered the playoffs for 3 season and his first playoff experience just started when Big 3 of Cavaliers was formed.

Just amazed that even he already experienced championship, still he will give up his max contract in Cleveland worth lots of $$$$$$ in 2019.

Kyrie's now moving to SAS I don't know if that is official as I've seen it to basketball pages on facebook. Good luck to the Cavs now, they need to replace Kyrie's power.

its a big challenge to lebron. I think lebron will not agree with it. Its his big challenge without kyrie. But if their team will trade player they have to make sure that that player will have kyrie's skills or better than kyrie but kyrie's skills will always be unique.

The Wizards have signed Potter for 4 year making a $106.5 million max contract making him.the highest paid player next season at $24.8 million for the Wizards all i can say after this move is RIP Wizards honestly i have no idea why teams constantly are willing to pay guys who barely move the needle.

That's a big contract for Potter.

I don't know why there are teams that are paying big if they can get some rookies who are playing good.

Well we can't interfere with their decisions. It's their money.

There's big difference about Rookies and big contract old players. The rookies are under observeation if their performance will click with the season. Because other rookies were beast in their collegiate league but suffering in adoptation in the world of NBA. If the team wants to win the season they have to pay with it. Its their passion every players continuing improve themselves as their dream to bwcime a star.

If that is official that he is moving to San Antonio then Spurs will be contender and will challenge Durant/Curry's Golden State. I think its a good moved for Irving to the West and coach Pop will have his hands full with Leonard and Kyrie leading the team. I'm more excited to follow NBA now that one of my favorite player will go to the West. I'm more of a West fan.  Smiley Bye bye Bron thanks for the memories - Kyrie... LOL.

Wait mate it is still unofficial that Kyrie is going to move in to San Antonio Spurs but well if that's his new team this will make SAS stronger. What matters now is that he wants to come out to Cleveland Cavaliers as soon as possible. Good bye Lebron and well see if he can still play without a big support from his former teammate.

Hmm. This is interesting indeed. He is worth millions of dollars and what give up on it? Did he think that he and Lebron can't make a good run together and be a champion again? Or he want to be a franchise player and proved that he got what it takes to be a champion without Lebron on his side? Or he and Lebron has some kind of beef? What do you think guys?

Maybe that is why Cavs is shopping and want to get to Derrick Rose. Contingency plans if ever Kyrie would leave. But I think its gonna be a different Cavs once Kyrie leaves. And where would Kyrie move that will make him the superstar that he wants?

He probably thought it would be better to try and make a championship run woth another team as lebron has too much control over what's going on in the franchise. Kid might have thought that teams are going to get a lot better trying to beat the warriors and notnhe cavs. There are whispers that he wants to be traded to a team from the west, most likely the spurs though i don't think there will be a good trading option for cleveland as kyrie's stick has considerably risen these past few years
Well I am just happy for the Timberwolves to be part of the preferred landing spots of Kyrie Irving, but from what I know it is hard to become reality as we have already signed Jeff Teague and he won't be available to be traded until December which I believe he will be gone by that time. Timberwolves being a destination of Free agents and All-star seems to be a dream for me as the last free agent I know signing for us worth mentioning is Joe Smith. Hopefully next season we could bring in more stars.

At the moment, Derick Rose is negotiating with the Cavs, according to ESPN. The max that Rose can get in Cleveland is 2.5 mln per one season.

It seems that Cavs will bring half of league just to match with the Warriors. But... Wink

I can't say any word but it's about desperation. Cavs is getting desperate to get this season's championship. They sure are upset with what happened and they want to upgrade their roster. Well Rose is another good just like Lebron who is a one man team.

Yes, Dennick Rose seems like a desperate attempt.
Cleveland was wrong to lay off GM Griffin who had almost convinced Jimmy Butler. Cleveland can win his conference (probably against Boston) but is clearly inferior to Golden State. LBJ next year will surely change team

I'll wait for this if this is going to be a deal or not. But it's still up to Derrick Rose if he's going to accept this contract, $2.5 M seems to be small for him I don't have an idea on how much his current contract for his past team. If Cavs will still not become the champs for this conference, well I can see it too that Lebron will jump to another team.
well if kyrie will move out from cavs rose would be another lift for them lebron still can provide he just needed some guy who can also score like
kyrie always did if the management of cavs can bring rose as replacement of kyrie maybe they can still defend the east.

I don't think they are going to let Kyrie out of the team but if that is going to happen shuffling is everywhere and every team has been doing this. But I want to see Cavs playing with Kyrie his a very versatile player and he's one of the best tandems together with Lebron. Well who knows if Derrick Rose is better than him when it comes chemistry.

What do you guys think about LA Clippers and the Chris Paul trade to Houston Rockets, in exchange for Patrick Beverley, Lou Williams, Sam Dekker, Montrezl Harrell, Darrun Hilliard, DeAndre Liggins, Kyle Wiltjer, a protected first-round pick next year and cash considerations. Clippers have also signed the Serbian Milos Teodosic. NBA Franchises have been trying to sign him for ages but he wanted to keep playing in the euro league/Europe. He is comparable to Steven Nash for the Euro League and holds the most assists there. He has loads of similarities with Nash and could probably be the starting PG for Clippers. In other news, Kyrie Irving is looking for move. Do you guys think he should join the Clippers?

He's already part of the clippers. Milos did sign for clippers last July 10. I think someone already posted this last week in the same thread. But still this is still a good thing for Clippers in exchange for Paul's departure.
Yeah,  Miloš signed for Clippers back then. I was the one who posted that Tongue
Yes, many NBA teams were watching him for while. But, his dream was to win Euroleague with CSKA Moscow and he finally made it in 2016. Last year he didn' t join NBA because he wanted to defend Euroleague title.  Unfortunately, he failed to do that. Still, he decided to finaly join NBA this summer. Many teams have been chasing him, but at the end he chose Clippers. I think he is 100% ready for NBA. I can't wait to see him in action!

Apparently Kyrie wants to be a star in a team in which he can't do as Lebron James currently hold that title. He demanded for a trade not to be a contender but to be a face of a franchise. He also chose 4 teams he preferred to be traded to which are the Timberwolves, Spurs, Heat, and Knicks. Now I don't know where he wants to land or what the opposing team can offer in exchange for Irving. Also From what I remembered the Jimmy Butler trade and Paul George trade didn't have much in return on their original team.
I also read it on espn. If Kyrie will be traded the chance of Lebron getting a ring becomes much lesser. He wanted to give up his max contract. Is it really he wanted to become the face of the franchise or he seems that he can't get a ring on Cavs anymore nor an MVP title.

There are four teams, where Uncle drew wanted to be traded.

1. Spurs
2. Twolves
3. Heat
4. Knicks

I hope that he lands to SPURS, even though hes playing style will be change because of Pop's style. I feel that He could contribute a lot to SPURS. Uncle Drew, Kawhi and LA would be the next big three of the league.

Actually an injured prone Derrick Rose still has better than stats compare to other players. According to his stats last season with New York Knicks, he established an average 18 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game, for 64 GAMES. The only downside here is, as usual, lots of missed games.

If only Derrick Rose maintained it's shape, that numbers will be more impressive. He is still young but injuries will really minimized anyone's ability even you are a superstar. I miss his Prime days and actually I just watched a while ago some of the NBA highlights including his spectacular plays during his prime days. You guys can find lots of it on Youtube.

For three teams you mentioned, only Lakers did some meeting with him. He doesn't do meetings yet to Cavaliers and Bulls.

If Derrick Rose goes to Cavs, what role should he fit it? A backup to Irving? I don't know if this is a good moved from the Cavs management. I guess what others have speculate, this is a desperation move from their end. I think what they need is a good role player that can defend a opposing teams main man and not another superstar which career is going to the pipe. I know that Cavs owner has a lot of money to spent, but they should choose a player that will perfectly fit with the team and not to disrupt it.

Actually an injured prone Derrick Rose still has better than stats compare to other players. According to his stats last season with New York Knicks, he established an average 18 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game, for 64 GAMES. The only downside here is, as usual, lots of missed games.

With Rose current status today, I think it's fine if he will landed on Cavaliers. No such thing now as main role for him because he knows he have to adjust to playing style of Lebron James like Dwayne Wade did on Miami Heat even on his prime era. Like I said in my previous post here, attitude are being changed. The disadvantage here like I said is the missed games so it's hard to cover that hole if he will missed. Now what is the solution? Offer Rose a standard salary so still it will make Cavs' salary cap more rooms.

Right now, there are 3 teams courting Derrick Rose, Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Lakers and Chicago Bulls. But remember, sometimes surprises happened like what happened to Paul George.

He is but in recent seasons he didn't have "major" injuries or missed entire seasons which were pretty common for him at Chicago. It's true attitude is something that can be controlled and changed but remember he has a huge conflict at the middle of the season threatning to leave, missing practice, etc. He's definitely a prima donna type of player.

However the Cavs already "reformed" J.R. Smith. No one can deny that, he's not an all star of course but we can all see how he's a very valuable role player for the Cavs, a 3pt threat and a decent defender. He can even be a great weapon from the bench. If Rose can fit in like that in Cleveland he has a much higher ceiling than Smith.

Got your point as it was the always scenario and it can be take as a reference for teams that will adopt him. But still we are talking here in advanced and who might know that Rose "might" be changed.

About J.R Smith, that's the one I like to formed by the Cavs. If Rose will stay healthy and "removed" that traits of his, they will have a better Small Forward lineup, not on the starting lineup but as a backup. Anyways I can't see any rumor currently about Cavs target players so I can't state my final view on Cavs roster. Let's wait until free agent signing is over.
