Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks is the Most Improved Player. I just didn't include it on my recent post because I minimized the post images. Smiley

Hey mate is this final? I wanted him to have that award as he surely is the most improved player for this season. And if you will have a check to his salary, look on the big increase that he got for this year and for the next years of his contract to Bucks.

Very well deserved for the kid. It's been a breakout season for the greek freak and it's quite scary to think that his game is still bound to improve as he gets more experienced. Put in a couple of more quality players in the buck's lineup and they can match up very well with the big dogs in the east. Looking forward to seeing how much more giannis will grow next season.

Definitely, the Bucks in my opinion were poised to do a much better Playoff run this year than what they ended up accomplishing. Especially not because of other players level but they clearly missed their second scorer in Jabari Parker. He's definitely not a star in this league but he was definitely a second weapon to take some pressure from Giannis and get some buckets when most needed.

They need to add some elite level shooters to their team too. The problem is that it's hard to get quality free agents in some cities (my Cavs suffered from this forever, including in the first Lebron chapter...)

On the side not, congratulations to RUSSELL WESTBROOK for winning this years MVP award. That guy deserve the award with the performance he put up this year and how he carried OKC to playoffs.

Russel Westbrook deserve the MVP award. The way he carry his team on his shoulder. Playing tremendous since day 1 of the Elimation round up to play offs. He's a triple-double machine. Hope Westbrook will get a good back court duo in the upcoming NBA season.
Congrats to him, he deserve the win, if only he has a good partner like the ability of Durant they could have advance at least in the 2nd round.
There is a lot of improvement in the coming season, no doubt westbrook can get another MVP award but I am hoping Thunder will also improve as a team.
Congrats to Russ on an incredible season and the award. I love Westbrook, I love that he's keeping us in the playoffs.
Yeah i agree with Russ being crowned MVP of the season. he did everything for the Thunder. and thats also the problem. does he make his teammates better? I dont think he does. thats why I dont think you can build a championship team around Russ. he is a one man team. its hard to say who you should pair up with Russ because even with KD it didnt always work that well. it was isolation basketball for both of them. While i didn't like it seeing Lebron finishing 4rth it's clearly he is better then that Lebron missed 8 games this year Cavs lost all 8.. Kawhi missed multiple games and Spurs won most of them.. Russ missed one game and his team mates lifted and won the game... so he is atleast at top 3.

Well whatever all people say about his teammates making him better by feesing him stats and all that, he almist singlehandedly willed his team to a playoff spot. That's counting for a lot considering that they lost kd the same season. I think russ took it upon himself to step up bigtime since kd's departure really left a huge void. The man deserved the mvp more than anyone this season

He deserved the Mvp award of the season! He made an incredible record of 42 triple doubles, with an average of 31.6 points, 10.7 rebounds and 10.4 assists!

Congrats to Russ. He truly deserves the MVP award. He's stat says it all. And seeing him played the way last season is truly amazing. We are luck to have watch him break the record of Oscar Robertson. We may never see it again, unless he break it again next season.

I thought cavs are just willing to let go of Love, I never thought kyrie was also on the table. There was a deal that involved kyrie going to suns, and 4th pick for paul george. Luckily it did not pushed through. I think it is best if they keep kyrie.

Majority will love to see Paul George playing with Lebron. But isn't their roster will be on a hybrid? I think the chemistry for the current roster of Cavs is already good. Probably George can be a good addition for them as long as he can adjust since he is a versatile player. They will be able to make it again in the finals.

I think Paul George can really improve this team because it seems the golden state warriors are miles ahead of the others and there's the need for them to build up a stronger team than they have capable of matching their arc rivals and I think Paul is a perfect inclusion.

He will make this team great and he's an exceptional player and he only needs to adjust if that's going to be a final update regarding his decision.

This is a good news for OKC fans and as well as Westbrook fanatics, he is one of the versatile player for the past season. He do deserve this MVP title.

Yes maybe a rematch against the Golden State Warriors at the Western Conference finals but if Kevin Durant stay, no MVP for Russell Westbrook surely. Thunder needs to improved their roster and market those other players to acquire decent one.

Malcolm Brogdom is the Rookie of the Year huh. That was a great steal from his both fellow finalist in Philadelphia 76ers, Joel Embiid and Dario Saric .

Who wons the Most Improved Player? I hope it's Giannis Antetokounmpo since he really make name this past season but just got their journey ended by the Toronto Raptors during the First Round of Eastern Conference Playoffs.

That's it. Russell Westbrook is the NBA 2016-2017 Season MVP. Well deserved Cool. Congratulations! It was really a close one against James Harden and Kawhi Leonard. Kevin Durant is the Finals MVP and he is the Season MVP, at least he's not left with nothing.

I thought the picture that was being shared by my friend on facebook is not true. But well this confirms that it is for real. Congratulations to Russel Beastbrook, Westbrook rather. He do really deserve this award and I'm thinking what Kevin Durant is thinking right now? "That award should belongs to me."

Are the Minnesota timberwolves the next super team? I think so they are a good matchup versus the Warriors

No way are they a match for the golden state warriors. Well Minnesota needs to keep rebuilding for future laurels but currently the GSW and cavs are still in charge and it's going to be difficult to break their duopoly.
Hmm theres a good communication, bonding and training with the Golden State Warriors. And I doubt it that Minnesota Timberwolves are going to be the rival and goos opponent of GSW, Cavs is still the close rival of them. But still theres no sure roster and prediction if we still dont see plays this coming season.
What? The Timberwolves traded Lavine, Dunn, and the 7th pick for Jimmy Butler and you are still saying the Timberwolves are still on the rebuilding process? Are you even serious with your statement? Because sacrificing young players for a 3 time all star is not a process in a rebuilding stage it is a process in being a contender, I hope you get it right. And now news about spending big and going after Star Point Guards for the Roster is all over the net hoping that the Wolves go in a serious playoff run. (Right now they waived Jordan Hill to clear some cap space).

That is just even the 1st week after the draft. Who knows what gonna in later months on the most rediculous trades ad even superteams being traded everywhere. A lot of point guards and even bigmen can now shoot three's. So this era now is a whole new team of offense. There maybe rebuilding teams but we can say that a lot of players are also improving this year.

Timberwolves are going the right path. They made good acquisitions lately and slowly they are building a superteam. Given time, they may dominate nba in the future. The young members just need to mature a bit and they will be the next superteam.
