Steph Curry has signed off new contract with Golden State champion for another five years, for which he will be rewarded with $ 201,000,000. It's about the so-called "supermax contract" - the best ever signed in the NBA, for the first time in history has exceeded the limit of $ 200,000,000 - absolutely earned for one of the best players of today, as he has not been on the list of top 30 basketball players In the league.

IMO Durant deserved that way better than Steph based on their performances this past season.
Maybe gsw doesn't wants to let go steph that's why they gave him this offer though you are correct that Durant should be more deserving for that but still we also knew how steph help them in terms of numbers and gsw will not let them lose the opportunity to lose him up.

for someone who won both mvp and the championship it is well deserved We had before in past seasons kobe, garnett and the big shaq got to be the league's highest paid. But it will be insane for the GSW to keep all of there big four players together when Thompson becomes a free agent in 2019 and Green in 2020? They'll be in tax territory with those just those 4 players. If they keep them together, the Warriors will be paying an obscene amount of tax in 2021. They will to be champions every season to keep the cash flow in.
Winning the championship every season seems to be no problem with the warriors if they will all be healthy, but in my point of view I don't think they will all stick together because in the end there will be a problem with money for stars who will not be compensated well.
Players like Green and Thompson maybe underrated but they are a good member of the team especially green who is the most defensive player this year.

Well this is for real that Paul George for Kevin Love. Why they need to trade away Love, it's better to have these two players play at the same time with Lebron James. I don't see any hybrid roster from them if they want to strengthen their roster for matching against GSW they shouldn't release Love but well it's their management and this is just my opinion.

They have to clear some cap in order to have PG13 and Love is the best they can give away. Anyway, nothing is going through yet. At one point cavs was willing to give away even kyrie but it did not push through. Maybe PG13 is not meant for cavs.

It's up to their management on who's going to be more effective for them. If that is PG13 or Love. They only need some additional player but they don't need some trades as they already had a good current roster, just an additional power is needed. But I think it's going to be hard for them to do it so.
yes mate the line up itself can still compete with gsw even without adding any big names they just needed to play with good chemistry
i think they can still perform and still can defend the east title, now that rumors are spreading with certain trade lets see if how the
cavs will adjust.

I think they already had a very good chemistry we know satisfaction isn't stable even though last time they are able to win after having a losing streak from the last last conference.  But it seems that every expectation seems to change like this one.

Oh wow Paul George was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder now

Oh wow Paul George was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder now, will this be a one shot for him to prepare him going to the Lakers as what the rumors tell us. Or him and Russell Westbrook will be a long term partner in OKC. Well stepping all of that aside I think the value of trading superstars for a good player is gone. Look at what they exchange in order to obtain Paul George and Jimmy Butler? Its like this superstars are really want to be gone in those cities that is why they are on a bargain trade. That is what I am seeing right now.

I thought he was going to HOU. HOU is trading so much right now that it signals it's acquiring another star besides CP3. Let's see who he is.

Minnesota is creating a great team! Minnesota has taken Jimmy Butler and with Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns is already a playoff team (last time in the playoffs dates back to 2004).
It can also take a strong free agent (like Kile Lowry). Minnesota may be a surprise in the coming season

Indeed. These young guns mixed with veterans like butler and rubio definutely makes them a formidable team to seriously make it to the playoffs next season. Though it may take a season or two to get them jelling to their full potential i think. But none the less, it's going to be pretty exciting to watch these young wolves

I like to disagree here. Jimmy Butler is good but I can't see him as a good addition to the Timberwolves current roster which is now not a playoff contender.  They need to add other. Remember, Chicago Bulls choked to Boston Celtics after 2 nothing lead during playoffs and what's more special Butler is alongside with Dwayne Wade and good lineup compare to Timberwolves but still got 4 consecutively losses and waived goodbye to the playoffs. Is that you can called a contender?

And by the way, Rubio is traded now to Utah Jazz.

Rubio is good, but not on a star level. Playoff contention? It's all gonna depend on KAT's performance this year. He's gonna be a superstar, way better than Butler would ever be.
Ricky Rubio was traded to the Utah Jazz for a 1st Round pick that belong to OKC in which as of right now acquired Paul George but the good thing is it is a protected lottery pick in which will obviously move to another year if it happened. Also what the Timberwolves have acquired in exchange for Ricky Rubio is Jeff Teague in which honestly I don't see any improvement, Rubio's contracts is really a discounted contract for his talent that he brings to the Team, Jeff Teague is an aging star that I don't know if he will able to contribute just like what he did to Indiana.

Yeah but I had a lot of rumors say that Carry is going to leave GSW.
Not sure if it's true, anyway with the new stars rising from the NBA Development league I guess that we may have a chance to see a different champion at the next season.
Gonna be good for sure!

I have not seen any of that rumors you are saying. Maybe they are just fake news spread on facebook or social media. Curry won't be going anywhere, at least this year.
Some time peoples create these rumors for enjoyment and some attention on social media otherwise there is nothing in this Curry is not going any where until next season but some very good and exciting players coming and this is going to be very interested for NBA in next season because now we are going to watch some new teams in play offs

No they cannot. They can dominate the east but they cannot get the championship and that is their aim. If after 3 years of playing together and they still do not have chemistry, I do not think there will ever be. They need another superstar because gsw is full packed with it. That is the trend in nba now.

I put those same rumors at the same level as LBJ leaving Cleveland, in my opinion there's a very small chance for that to happen at least for the next upcoming season. Curry situation is a little different since his salary renegotiation can actually fuel some speculation. I still doubt that he'll leave since I can't even imagine a destination for him (well I sort of do with the Lakers and Walton, that would be crazy!).

The Warriors appear to be a solid franchise but many of us have known for years that there are some conflicts with Green and Kerr and other parts of the organization, so far it's all good as they are succesful but we'll see how negotiations develop and most importantly what happens on the next season after this one which most likely will be much more important in my opinion.

buying the rumors well its yes we will be seeing new champion if curry will leave gsw as we knew that he really give big value for the game and for his team mate even Durant receive the mvp finals award its curry who create the impact together with green Thompson and iggy so if things won't favor their side and curry will leave them I think cavs will dominate again.
