Because LA lakers play without lebron james.and also timberwolves play at their own home which of course will be supported by a large audience of supporters.
And this season the LA lakers game has not been stable, they have lost a lot and until now they are only entrenched in 10th place in the western conference.

Lately, the Lakers seem not as active as they were when they were playing in the in-season tournament which really not good to watch because fans were expecting too much for them after they won the championship. Right now they are seriously in trouble because ahead of them are tight games because they are against heavyweight teams which will require them to exert all efforts to win all of it if they are lucky. But right now, their chance to get the playoff spot is in jeopardy because teams in the Western Conference are also improving.

Ja Morant's return will change a lot of things, I agree with that. Grizzlies will find a place in play-in for themselves. Right now they are 7-19 but it will get better faster. It's clear that Morant is half of this team, without him they struggled much. Making a buzzer beater in return game is just a proof of how hungry he is as well.
I wonder what will they do against Pacers tonight because Pacers is also a unique team. Hard to pick sides for this game, it may go both ways.

And in this game, he is a big impact, they beat a good team in Indiana Pacers, score is 116-103 not even close. So Ja's present alone is really huge as they are into a 2 game winning streak and beating good teams in Pelicans (come from behind win), and now the runner up to Lakers in IST.

And speaking of Lakers, they lost again, but James didn't play.

Tomorrow's game to watch, Suns vs Kings. Suns has been playing shit lately, will they bounce back against the Kings?

I voted Timberwolves in the poll. They got another win tonight against the Lakers.
Yeah, only the Sixers was able to beat them the other game that we thought that they can win that as well. But Joel was unstoppable. Now they come back and bet the Lakers so they are definitely back. Lakers though will have to come out with plans to win games after winning the in season tournament. As if there were a switch on this team to turn from champions to loser.

The Wizards managed to get themselves a rare win tonight. Unfortunately the Pistons couldn’t follow them and instead dropped one to the Jazz who seemingly had half their team out for one reason or another.
Pistons was good during the 1st quarter, they took the lead. But the Jazz says that they don't want that team to give the Pistons a win and so their losing streak continues. Both are in the tail of the standing, but Jazz has more better player than Detroit.

There something going on with the Lakers now. I was noticing their inconsistencies. Looks like they were only playing their hard and best during the IST, but during regular season games they lack aggressiveness and consistency in the defensive end. I guess even with LeBron against the Timberwolves they'll still gonna lose.
The trade rumors also were affecting the team performance. The energy that DLo and Hachimura are giving to the team are not the same as when they were still enjoying every game they won in the IST.

I voted for Boston but then later on I thought the Twolves could've gotten the first 20 wins after having the much easier opponents. The Celtics are just really a tough team to beat, but hopefully, this current line-up can also step up more during the playoffs.

The Lakers keep losing lately. Lebron might need to pressure the management once again to make moves before the trade deadline. They do not have enough future assets but the team is rich so maybe they can make possible acquisitions and trades like LaVine.

What a shame for the Detroit Pistons. Only 2 wins and has a 25-losing streak. They deserved a relegation if only the NBA allowed such a system.

We can really say that they already figure out the problem and know how to make their roster work right at the moment. We see how dominant Kawhi also Harden provide some quality contribution to their team so for sure we can see more cool games coming from them since they became automatically the team favorite to bet by those bettors. But even though they are having a good streak still I will think about betting on them since I will also look at the roster availability since it gives crucial points to the game. But for now its really great to see how they perform since they prove that their current stars rotation in Clippers is not a huge bust.

Let see if they can continue this since if they get more wins and continue their winning streaks then for sure it can increase their confident and they have huge chance to compete on finals.
Harden is not a player who likes to just shoot the ball, he is known for his passing as well, and even though he is a great scorer, this opens up a lot of possibilities. With Harden passing, that means teams either have to defend him and others get open, or they defend others and harden gets open. This team is perfect fit for him if he doesn't whine again and asks for a trade.

I mean at this point I am expecting in a few years at max, Harden will be like Westbrook and looking for a veteran minimum to find a team. Why would a team give him max contract when they know that he might ask for a trade? That's why he may not get what he is looking for, Clippers needs to win a ring with him here, if they do not, he will leave for sure.
Well, the streak was already over. In regards to Harden looking for another team, I think he found a place for now but we never know in the future if he acted out like what he did on the Nets and Sixers once again. I don't think it's wise for management to give a max contract to a player that already has issues like this, that will for sure be a waste of money. For now, the system works for him but we know when Harden makes some choke moment and that's when the playoff comes and that's when we say what would be the outcome for that, let's see if the system works again because for sure teams will break down that and find some loopholes.

Speaking of the Lakers they are the favorites there at -4.5 if I remember it right. But Caruso is like the energy provider for the Chicago Bulls team and whenever he is around they win games. With a bit of help from Drummond and Carter, the Bulls showed a strong team today.
That's 2 wins in a row for them now.

Can we say the struggle of Chicago is over?

They had 2 wins already, and that is against a strong teams in the NBA, first was the Sixers, now the Lakers.

This team is really good to bet on as probably they'll stay underdog going forward, and what I had notice with this team, they seemed to be sticking with their system which is making DeRozan as their main attacker, not when Lavine was still around where they shall the ball and the attempts.

Quote
Later, they will be up against the Spurs and this should be a win for them.

And they are just -4.5 against the Spurs. What is this? Is it even reasonable?
Somehow bookies analysis thinks the Chicago Bulls are still weak. Alex Caruso's impact is so high that the whole team's energy went up. What he is doing cannot be seen in his stats but while watching him you can definitely say he is the heart of the Bulls.

They think it was reasonable, all we can do is take advantage of it.
Chicago Bulls - San Antonio Spurs - Chicago Bulls (-4.5) The Bulls are hot ever since Alex Caruso returned. Will they continue this winning streak? It will be 3 if they win again.

I got it, and shared it from the other thread. Man, I should've increased the spreads to -6.5 and got a 2.0+.

The struggle is over but they will still be doubtful to win against stronger teams. Without Zach LaVine there will be times they will struggle in the offensive end but thankfully there are players who are stepping up their games. Like today, Coby White and Patrick Williams are doing a lot of damage in the offensive end. Williams scored 18 points and White with 22 points.
Then, they keep on rotating players. Drummond is above 15 minutes in his last 2 games and so does Jevon Carter. This pair is phenomenal and I think they have good chemistry. Drummond is also maximizing every minute that he will get by contributing on both ends of the floor.
Even when LaVine goes back, they should not stop this kind of rotation as it gets every player involved which I think is a good thing for every team.

Detroit Pistons, finally. Another loss. Cheesy
Fans chanting to sell the team. Yeah, they'd say that because Utah Jazz was damn undermanned without their stars. They are literally going to play against the bench of the Jazz and yet they still lost. I would be angry too if I am a Pistons fan.

Speaking of the Clippers, their streak might end today if Leonard is out.

At first glance I thought they'll lose but they are still on this game. OKC is just leading by a single digit, and though PG and Leonard are both out, please remember that there's still two superstar remaining that played on the same team with the Rockets, we got Harden and Westbrook bro.

PG is playing and currently helping to keep that distance close, currently OKC is leading by 3, if both Harden and PG continue producing numbers
the chance of winning still on for the Clippers.

Still early as it's just the beginning of 2nd half, it's always the last quarter where both teams will try to win the game.

Let see if how the rest of Clippers will help PG and Harden while missing the service of Leonard.

I wonder what will they do against Pacers tonight because Pacers is also a unique team. Hard to pick sides for this game, it may go both ways.

I guess we should follow the Memphis as long as they are winning. Right now, they are leading by 18 points against the Pacers, so this is a statement from Ja on what he can bring to the team, now this Memphis team now will be one of the hottest topic and it looks like if they win here they'll also make their own winning streak, like the Clippers.

This game is not over yet as Pacers were able to come back in the 2nd quarter. A once 18 points deficit by the Pacers are now down to 2 at the end of the first half. The score now is 56-58, so this game now is becoming interesting to watch. Good luck to the Pacers, I like this team to win.

Joel Embiid really went off yesterday. Scoring 51 points against a team with the best record in the NBA and likely defensive player of the year. I’m actually impressed. I was thinking it would go the other way and Embiid would struggle and his team would lose. That was one of those games people get reminded about when the MVP voting starts.

Yeah, I think he has something to proved this year, he put all the big men of Wolves into foul trouble. And then his shooting touch and grab 12 rebounds. Maxey too has a great performance. We should not forget as well on the defense they put against Anthony Edwards.

OKC vs Clippers, this is the game to watch tonight, OKC huge favorite, but Clippers is holding that they can continue with their winning streak.
And then we have the Wolves vs the Lakers. Lebron needed this win to get back into the groove, they are 1-4 after winning the In-Season Tournament.

He is playing like an MVP and I’m glad to see it. I think if I were a voter this year though I would still have to give it to Luka Doncic. He’s playing at another level as well. It would be great to see Embiid win a title to get the last missing piece for his career. It’s going to be tough getting over Giannis and Dame in the playoffs though.

Well, this can even be a tactic let's say that they go to the finals.

The opposing team will just have to piss him off and they're all good to go and there goes one of their key players is gone out of the game indefinitely.

That's why he just need to calm down as well, whether he's a man of action and won't sit around tolerating things. He has to weigh things no matter what the situation is.

I really think there is a positive that happens when Draymond Green is suspended and that is because in his steed there is Trayce Jackson-Davis that have changed the landscape of defense for the Warriors and I say Literal defense getting the block and now has helped the Warriors a lot and in their game against the Boston Celtics Trayce Jackson-Davis helped them a lot as the defense is so elite and with his tall stature those assist inside where a safe scoring spot now for the Warriors a truly a unicorn of his caliber and he is also learning the Warriors play style, for sure on the way he plays now he is like more reliable than Victor Wembanyama, but I think it is because Wembanyama ended in the wrong team,

Even Hollywood couldn't write a better script for a comeback I think.

I mean come on, coming back from down 24, scoring 27 in the 2nd half and then win the game on a buzzer? When have we seen something like that.
After that 2nd quarter beating the game was as good as over. Memphis played much better of course but NO can also only blame themselves for this loss.

The last 2 games of today have also been crazy with a big comeback by the Warriors in the 4th and the other comeback by Portland(!!!) after losing the 1st quarter by 16 vs the Suns.
I saw bets on stake made by some high rollers better 5 and 6 digit amounts on these 2 games. Some guy bet 300k on Boston at 1.1 odds, that didn't go too well. Another one bet 50k on the Suns and lost.

NBA crazyness at it's best!

There are many insane Comeback for sure and there are tons, the Ja Morant comeback for the Memphis Grizzlies from that 5 game consecutive losses has solidified the Grizzlies' winning for sure,

While the Golden State Warriors win against the Boston Celtics was really shocking a comeback for sure and because of Trayce Jackson-Davis there is a new dimension with the Warriors' defense and offense aswell and because Draymond Green is not around it becomes a good thing as now Trayce Jackson-Davis has more playing time and now that Steve Kerr have noticed this kid maybe he will surely give him a lot of playing time now,

Another Comeback was the 1st win for the Portland Trail Blazers after the 7 consecutive losses they had and now they won against the Phoenix Suns in a close game last time it was surely a victory for them,

I think I can say that Joel Embiid actually single-handedly was able to win them the match.  Of course, he had support from another player, Maxey.  However dropping 51 points in a single match is definitely something to appreciate.  Well, it is pretty sure that if he actually did struggle,  his team would have lost. But of course the opposite happened. He was able to score and his team was able to win without any problem, to be honest. The team definitely got the win because of him.

I wasn't all in on embid getting mvp but he is playing with a chip on his shoulder it seems.  Dude is having the best year of his career and NO ONE can stop him.  What a great move shedding Harden from this team.  So long as embid is healthy they will certainly contend for the Eastern Conference Champs at a minimum. Very early on but dude looks different this year.

Do you have any idea for new poll? Let me know so I can change it. For now I'm going to change it to first 30 wins.
It may change this time because Bucks and Timberwolves are going great as well.
I think now that we are nearing the All-Star weekend next year, we need some All-Star polls then. How about who will break Clippers winning streak, will the Thunder break it today or will they continue? Sorry, it may be short lived poll if they lost but good thing if they run it while they're hot.
