Warriors might trade Wiggins.

Warriors Should Move Andrew Wiggins Before NBA Trade Deadline amid Latest Rumors

Is it good for the Warriors or not? Wiggins has been part of the team that won a championship against the Celtics, and he was one of the main reason why they won because he played hard but just he can't be consistent all the time. Currently, the Warriors standing does not guarantee them a playoff spot, if Wiggins will be traded, will their chances to be in the playoffs will improve?

Who they should trade is Klay. Wiggins has been bad before but then suddenly had a huge upswing, maybe that can happen again.  He is just 28 and at the pick of his physical abilities.
Klay on the other hand, also because of all the injuries, is on a strong decline. Also he doesn't really show commitment to the team be declining a more than fair extension offer, seeking a max deal.  Grin
Sure he did a lot for the franchise but why would they give him a deal he doesn't deserve.

The only thing speaking for a AW deal is contracts. Klay's is running out (finally) but Wiggins just started his new 4 year deal for a "moderate" 109 million. Compared to Klay's silly deal that's a bargain. He earns 43 mil this season. Remember, he played 101 games in 3 years earning 105 million in these 3 season. That's like 1 million per game.  Roll Eyes And now he is declining 48 mil for 2 years. Ungrateful.

I don't know if it's a wise idea to put Klay on the trading block. Maybe no teams will deal with the Warriors if that is the case, and the Warriors management also value the contribution of Klay because before his production decline, Klay is a big part of the Warriors championship run, that's why they still want him to sign with the team but a lower contract. Maybe they will just wait until the contract is over and see if Klay will choose to stay or not.

However, for Wiggins, there will be a lot of team that will be interested with him since he is still the same and has already won a championship, it would be easier for the Warriors to get a possible star player caliber as well that they could use to improve their record after the trade.

Thanasis clearly isn't an NBA caliber player.

I think Thanasis could be a competitive player in the NBA, but it seems like he's not really trying or wanting to be. I wouldn't be surprised if he's happy with his current position on the team because all he has to do is attend workouts, and for that, he gets a couple of million dollars and a season ticket to a bench seat at courtside as well. That sounds like a dream job. Grin
I also get the idea from the clips I've watch. All the acting he does trying to sell a foul and the reaction he gives shows that he's not that serious. It seems to me that he's accepted that he's not going to be as good as his brother so he makes some funny moves whenever he's on the court.

Well, greatness comes from working hard and having high aspirations and because they are already rich, I don't think he is motivated enough to improve his skills because Basketball is not his passion rather they only see it as a source of income and they are already getting it and the way he got his payment easily will not push him to practice some more basketball skills to be efficient whenever he is needed inside the court and we all know the politics behind the basketball games nowadays when you are not a star, you won't be getting enough minutes to showcase your skills anyway, so why bother to practice for more?

Why is he in the NBA if basketball is not his passion? I think the question here is whether he deserve to get sign or not for not getting minutes for the team.  He was criticized, but it seems like he'll stay as long as Giannis will stay, he is part of the package, maybe a special package for a special player like Giannis. He is their to support his brother, I think emotionally and mentally he is making Giannis toughher and that job could be worth a milion dollar job too.

The Milwaukee Bucks were 4-1 until the management and Giannis weren't satisfied and wanted change and agreed to hire Doc Rivers. Doc River successfully brought change to the team and they are now 1-4 since then.

But these defeats may be understandable since some key players are missing. Doc and the Bucks are also still building their chemistry and working on their differences. And all the 4 games that Doc was handling were on the road. So we will find out how Doc performs when they are back to Milwaukee in their next 4 games.

They were 4:1 ??  Grin
Anyway, nobody is surprised the Doc Rivers hiring looks bad. It looked bad when they did it and it looks even worse now.
But hey, he can coach the eastern allstars now, good for him and robbery for Adrian Griffin.

If DR gets fired at some point from the Bucks as well maybe NBA teams will finally wake and see what a terrible coach he is. His teams always had so much potential and great rosters but only with the super team Celtics he won it once.  Roll Eyes

Milwaukee Bucks gamble for that, they can't change that anymore as it's too early to conclude. When Ty Lou had Harden they were struggling at least few games before they figure out how to be dominant, so most probably that was the model the Milwaukee Bucks want to achieve when hiring DoC Rivers.

Bucks have some good offense inside, Giannis would handle that, but it seems like they loss their outside threat. I think they need to improve that as it's very much necessary when Giannis gets some limited points inside.

Wondering how the old coach feel when seeing the current situation of Bucks now. For sure he is celebrating for that lose knowing that he still give a good record to bucks but still he's been thrown out and been replace by Doc Rivers.

Now this also expose Rivers that he can't handle this team well since for having that awful record since he join the Bucks for sure many would realize that their management commit a huge mistake. If they can't fix their issue for sure Bucks will be in trouble knowing that they want to get more wins and possibly get a championship this season since if they lose their trade made to get Lillard is totally useless. Familiarity with players is important so hopefully their coach can adjust and know how to handle his new team.

^^ Chemistry is slowly building up with the Suns big 3, and it's scary to see that each of them can score almost 30 points each in every game. Teams might have one good perimeter defender, but in this case, the Bucks have good one like Crowder or Portis or even Pat Connaughton, but it was not enough as Beal just bully himself against Payne and giving us the too small gesture. The Bucks played without star guard Damian Lillard though, who missed the game with a sprained ankle, and starting center Brook Lopez, was out for personal reasons. And for those who are asking, Milwaukee fell to 1-4 since hiring coach Doc Rivers so you can just make your own conclusion if that is a good move to hire him or not.

I don't really see the reason why they fired Adrian Griffin. Even if it is a locker room issue, Griffin can't handle his players, or the players don't want him to be the coach, they are still winning with him as the coach. Those problems can be solved internally; they should work them out; they are professionals for a reason.

Since Doc is already there, Bucks just needs to be committed to this decision. With 1-4 standing with him as a coach, I think the bucks are still adjusting to a new system with Doc. A new system and a new head coach are hard, especially when the hiring is in the middle of the season. Also, in those 5 games, they are missing some key players, Damian Lillard and Brook Lopez. Maybe a little bit of bad luck is also on their side.

But speaking of adjustments, just look at the Clippers right now. Currently, they are the number one seed. But when James arrives for the first time in the team, They are on a 5-game losing streak. But now, they are at the top of the Western Conference. Let's see if the Buck can turn things around.

I'm thinking of betting on the Bucks tomorrow. Perhaps they were able to rest after that loss to the Jazz, it was a disappointing loss because they ran out of gas in the 4th quarter, so Giannis will find a way to bounce back and get a win.
Moneyline,
Suns - 1.62
Bucks - 2.36

That's a good one for you. It's rare to see Bucks as underdog like that with Giannis playing.

I don't see anyone from the Suns team can stop Giannis in the paint, for the Suns to win, they need to keep their 3 point shooting at a high level which I believe the Bucks knows how to limit them on that area.
Are the Bucks that good at defending now? They are probably just at the same level on defense so it will come down to scoring more. I bet both teams will score at least 110 points.

I thought it was odd the Bucks are underdogs as well. I didn’t think the Suns were playing that great of basketball lately.

I’m also a little surprised we haven’t seen any big moves in the trade market yet. The deadline is quickly going to come and go. I’ve heard the Suns are trying desperately to get one more piece.

It's no surprised why the Suns are the favorite in their game against the Bucks. Big game by their big 3, I think they almost took this game between the three of them. It was only Nurkic who help with 10 points and I think this is one of the best games for Bradley Beal as a Suns.

And I think that's what the Suns did here, they keep their shooting at high percentage, enough to give him a good separation in the 4th quarter.

Yeah, I don't think we will see some big trades, I thought that there will be but so far the tracker, but so far the last trade was Feb 1 with Adams being moved by Memphis.

The New York Knicks scared their fans for a bit there in the 4th quarter. The highest lead they got was 28 points and I was so sure that I won't win my bet because I took the plus for the Memphis Grizzlies. Then all of a sudden, their hands got hot after Brunson went out when he rolled his ankle.
Even the bench of the Grizzlies was shocked at what their players could do and the Madison Square Garden also got silent because of it.
I had a bit of luck there.

It's GG Jackson who found his rhythm in the 4th quarter shooting three-pointers and their defense also got better. But Donte DiVicenzo for the Knicks is on fire too as he scored most of that 4th quarter for the Knicks registering 32 points in the process.

Miami Heat on the other hand won their game too against the Orlando Magic. Terry Rozier feels comfortable making 18 points helping out his team on the offensive end which Miami needs the most because of the lack of firepower. Heat won it by dominating more in the paint and the Magic had a hard time on the defensive end.

Phoenix Suns versus Milwaukee Bucks, up next.

Many of us where disappointed, although the Knicks won, they allow the Memphis Grizzles to score a huge 39 points in the 4th quarter, allowing them to win by just 10 points and didn't cover the initial spread of -12.5 for us gamblers, oh well.

Phoenix Suns already won against the struggling Bucks now. I know, but what is the record of coach Doc Rivers under the Bucks? Anyway, they are now in the 3rd place, as the Cavs takes the 2nd spot in the Eastern conference, having a 6 game winning streak now.

I also saw that the Bucks must sign him, and waive Thanasis which is very funny, but kind of true. Just so you know, Tony Snell has a career where he just went "cardio" for 20+ minutes. No statsat all, and the only thing he did was run on the court. Cheesy. Thanasis? What is he doing on the league? He isn't even playing, and the team don't need him aside from him being a cheerleader for his younger brother. Cheesy
Haha, Thanasis our guy.

They've been in losing streak when the change of coach has happened. He's the million dollar guy that's hired to hire his brother. But seriously, he's drafted first by the New York Knicks so maybe he's really got the talent but then Bucks just seen better deal with him.

He's expensive personal body guard of Giannis and I'm sure that Bucks is so ready to get rid of him but they can't do anything since he's under protection of their star brother which they can't afford to lose.

Also I think he will not drafted if his not a good player maybe he just need a break to show his talent and capabilities to help the team that's why if they need additional help maybe its better for bucks to used him or try to develop so that they get something from him. If they let him sit on bench I think nothing will happen and they just waste their money for him.

Obviously they're developing him, but I think that's part of the deal with Giannis.  Everyone knows this is something the Bucks are doing to keep Giannis happy.  Thanasis clearly isn't an NBA caliber player.  I'm pretty sure once Giannis leaves the Bucks that Thanasis won't be far behind.  We'll probably find out after this season, but I wouldn't be surprised if whoever signs Giannis also makes a league minimum offer to Thanasis in an attempt to keep Giannis happy in his new home as well.

I’ve heard the Suns are trying desperately to get one more piece.
Miles Bridges was the latest rumor. Do they even have enough to give up for trades?

I have no idea who they would give up or what picks they have left...  I also don't know what help a player like Miles Bridges would be.  Seems like they need another big man to me, but I haven't seen the entire team play together enough yet to know.

The Grizzlies played without 13 players against the Celtics and suffered a heavy loss. Now they will play the Knicks, another Eastern team in form. It's a tough game again and the number of missing players makes their chances even worse. There is another opportunity for the players who normally don't get minutes to show themselves. The Knicks also have missing players, but nothing like the Grizzlies, they don't have a complete team. There will be no surprises in this game, I don't know how many points the Knicks will win by, but sure they will win.

Interesting.  I was unaware of this.  Might have to add them to a parlay.  I wondered why the odds were so bad.
