Celtics close in on the Cavs and Spurs get closer to Warriors for the top spot.

It was Boston Celtics defense that really won them the game. They just made it tough on Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. Bradley and Smart made sure that they had contested every shot and make to them take though shots every time. Although they still need to prove their surge at that end of the court is real. They will need to stay healthy in the playoffs. If you look at the fourth-quarter box score you will notice how their defenses affected the splash brothers. Curry has 0 points in 5 minutes 0-for 1 shooting, while Thompson in 8 minutes has 1 point and 0-for-3 shooting.

Lol. Don't be overwhelm about Golden state warriors lose on boston. I think they are not just playing 100% on their game since they got the spot on play offs. It is hassle to play full potential on a game you already won. They are just reseving their full strength for play offs just like san antonio spurs did. The only difference is they can't pull out steph and klay to rest because their team is totally useless without them. The real show will begin on start of play offs.

LOL. let's just give credit where credit is due. Boston Celtics defeated Golden State by shutting down its 2 main scorer. If they want to really reserved their energy, they should be sitting and not playing until the 4th quarter. And this win will boost Boston's confidence coming in the playoff. But I agree with you saying that the real show is on playoffs. This is just 1 game, if this is a series, I'm pretty sure Golden State will adjust and will win the next game if they are match against Boston in the Finals.

Maybe. But keep in mind that celtics beat also the cavaliers on their last match. I think Boston is experienced enough to fight these top teams at the playoff. I really Boston Celtics because of they're improved a lot. I notice that their shooting are improved. They're rreally deserved a shot to conference finals.

Surely that regular season is far from the playoffs. I admit that GSW is always showing a good game and each of their games does have a very good performance so I have to say that I think that GSW will be able to make this match and will advance to the finals again. Though I'm not underestimating the Celtics.

The race for the top spot in the West is now heating up, as the Warriors have been vulnerable without Durant. Suddenly, the Spurs are turning up their game a notch and are closing in on the Warriors. I am actually rooting for the Spurs to go all the way to the Finals and for Kawhi Leonard to be the MVP. They have been doing it without much noise and fanfare and by just playing solid, no-nonsense basketball, as they have been doing over the last two decades.

Golden State will play 11 matches at home and only 7 away of which 2 against San Antonio.
Probably the two Direct clashes on 12 and 30 March will be decisive.
If Golden State will win at least one of these two games I think will win its conference.

Let's see what will happen then, I'm sure that will be an exciting match and GSW is looking for a revenge at this game after they were routed at home early in this season. I like how the Spurs played so far, Kawhi is getting more matured with the way he makes decision and that kind of leader is what a team needs to win championship.

Honestly, I'm getting bored with a possible GSW vs CLE finals, I want Spurs to advance in the west and face whoever wins in the east.

The Timberwolves showed that there is still hope for them to make it into playoffs. With a 107-91 win against the Clippers you know they have a caliber to defeat a playoff team. Also for people thinking that Rose is better than Rubio think again he got a triple double recent and know with a double-double in this game with 12 Assist. The bench also have help a lot now with Lance Stephenson back with the organization.

I think the spurs will lead the league, until such time Durant is back, the warriors will be having a hard time to dominate in the game. I wonder if how they feel with their bad losing record, they should be realizing now that they cannot get into the Finals without Durant playing with them.
Boston is great and I'm thinking, what if they will become the NBA champion this season, I'm sure it will be a surprise for most people.
