Time now again for trade rumors and this time, I saw a big trade rumor that has possibility to happen. Once again, don't take this a serious one since it's just a "rumors".

Russell Westbrook is on the seat right now after some rumors that he might be able to team up with Whiteside and the gang from the Miami Heat while Heat will send a trade package centered on Goran Dragic to Thunder.

Westbrook just signed a 3 year contract extension with the Thunder a month after Durant left the team so I was thinking how will the Heat will breach the contract.

wow if heat is serious with breaching the contract i know it is just a rumors but the fire will make some serious attention, as we know what can heat do we seen it before when lebron, bosh and allen went their joining wade and win a champions, westbrook can be a good trade if this will come true.
I think that would be an exciting news if it will happen, I like to see Westbrook in Miami and I believe his life would be easy in the east. It could be a good balance for the stars since the west are full of stars and that is not good for the fans and the NBA as a whole. Should be a cavaliers and heat in the east finals if realize.

This is really exciting on how the Heat is going to breach Westbrook's contract.  Heat is going to become stronger if Westbrook will get in there.

But thinking that Cavaliers will be in finals again or just for east finals, I'm very sicked to see them in finals.

I wanted other teams to reach that achievement even just for east finals. I hope another team is going to boom just like what warriors did.

Heat will able to cope up with their missing spot since Wade left if they can get Westbrook. They will not become as strong team like in the past but Westbrook can able to help them to sealed again a playoffs spot.

Well about that Cavs thing in finals, NBA is unexpected. Who knows that there will be new faces in the final phase of this league. Also take note that Toronto Raptors is a new face in the East finals and their performance against the CAVS is highly noted. They will sure come back again.

If that will happened, Westbrook is the best addition for the Heat roster.

After the left of Wade, there's no clutch player now at the Heat roster and knowing Westbrook the way he plays, he is really on a good position. My concern now, who is the part of that trade package since it's no sense to get Westbrook if some promising players will be transferred to other teams.

Yes Russel Westbrook is a good additional for the Heat. I can't see of any player that remains in the Heat players right now that able to make a close performance of what Wade is doing.

Finally the wait is over! NBA's new season is starting today. First day games:
New York Knicks @ Cleveland Cavaliers
Utah Jazz @ Portland Trail Blazers
San Antonio Spurs @ Golden State Warriors
These are all pretty good match ups but the one that's going to generate a lot of buzz would be the game between the Spurs and the Warriors. We will finally see how the guys at Golden State adjust with Durant's game and vice versa. The Spurs with their aging lineup still has a lot left in their tank and has Kawhi and Aldridge to make lives difficult for their opponents.

When I see some highlight videos of Karl-Anthony Towns I often see a resemblance to the way he play its something similar on how Kevin Durant move his body and also a little bit of Kevin Garnett. Well obviously he was trained and mentored by him also being praised by KD as the future big man of the NBA. How about you guys do you see some resemblance of how KAT plays with the 2 guys?
i see him more a like to garnett making him a big man to play like small guy, i wish he will developed more and play against lebron , lennard and kd then create his own name inside nba like what mj did when his time came played against the best magic, bird, drexler and dr.J.
This guy is really good but definitely cannot compete with Lebron James, King James is in different class while KAT is still in the developing state, too early to tell about this guys as we do not know yet if he can remain healthy in the game.  He needs too actually as he is the main man in wolves to chase for their playoff dreams.
i agree a lot of time to improved his ability, although we knew lebron is really dominating but his age will keep him limited incoming years and this guy can show more if he continue showing good improvement from time to time we will see another star to rise up and he also needed some support from the management to chase nba play off and finals.

A rookie for the year is already a big recognition and only legitimate player are given that award, and I guess that answers the question.
The wolves are a threat this season as they have a young hungry squad wanting to enter into the playoffs, I think I am gonna bet with them in every game.

I was listening to the bill simmons podcast and the warriors are  -150 to win the title.

Thants crazy odds. So you get +130 and you get every other team lol.
Not gonna bite that trap, they too overvalued as a team, and to win in finals? Finals?

Even with Durant they are just still not that dominant team, especially now that the spurs and cavaliers are upgrading their squad. Can't believe people are falling for the trap.

From an article that I read, it seems that the East is going to be owned by the Cleveland Cavaliers for the third straight year, barring any major injuries to any of their key players. The other teams following them are the (2) Toronto Raptors, (3) Boston Celtics, (4) Indiana Pacers, (5) Chicago Bulls, (6) Atlanta Hawks, (7) Detroit Pistons, and (Cool New York Knicks. While I don't entirely agree with the list, (I have the Milwaukee Bucks going in at #6), it is clear that it is going to be another year that the Cavs are the hands-down favorites to win the ECF and face the WCF champions, most likely the Golden State Warriors.

this would be good to but it can unpredictable from start season start in two days and i think that all team will want to be in best eight in west and east
think that this season will bring some surprises at the end but maybe it will best in history so far

but this early predict final like this cavs gsw this is bold and hope you will get some good money if this can be predicted
The winner for the first game between the warriors vs the spurs will be the next NBA Champion, Lebron is going to be lucky if the warriors will advance in the west as they know how to beat the team even with Durant on board, but in the event the spurs will win, Lebron will be shut down by kawhi. Mark my word.

Interesting prediction haha, I agree that Lebron had a lot of troubles with KL in the past (but he also suffered against Iguodala). I understand is a joke that the winner of tomorrow's game will be the next NBA champion but the Spurs can definitely have a big season. However I don't see them as the true contenders in the west against the Warriors. They are regrouping after the loss of Duncan and other small moves, I just don't seem them as menacing as they once were (in the Miami Lebron era for example).

I think the team that could have a good change are the Clippers, they've been playing together forever and always come up short even if they managed to eliminate a favorite like the Spurs. This is the year that they can go all the way (if they can remain healthy and focused). The Warriors are the clear bet but I find that just one injury to either Durant, Curry or even Green will jeopardize the whole project, it really has no depth in my opinion compared to last year. The season is long and gruesome, the Cavs are much better equipped right now to handle it (plus the East is an easier ride) and should get to the Finals without breaking a sweat.

Preseason is over guys, I am now excited to see the formal opening of the regular season this October 25, 2016. Based on what I see, only the Dallas Mavericks out of the legitimate team in the west are not showing up, I hope they will in the regular season or if not, it will only proven that Dirk is too old and needs to retire, Warriors are the same team or a little better, they will dominate the west I guess.

Mavs is not always Dirk and I know they can still compete with the team on the West. Dirk is already an aged player but he doesn't need to force himself in every game since this is just a pre season game.

What I dislike on my fave team Mavs now is that they are lacking the center spot. Dirk is not a center but a power forward but since they are lacking of it, no choice but to handle the boards. But still Im looking on a good run on this team this upcoming season although Im not expecting a title contender. At least they should make again a playoffs appearance.
yes they need an additional player who can play for a center role so dirk can focus with his shooting and offensive threat.
it will be harder for them to compete this season as many trades happen but hopefully they show some rally too.

I think this is the last season of Dirk Nowitzki. The Mavericks cannot contend for the championship this season. I think they should rebuild now with the young core.
Yeah i agree that this year's mavs team doesn't have a legitimate chance of advancing deep in the playoffs right now. The dirk era is almost over and i agree with that the next couple of years we would see a rebuilding mavs team built on younger players. Wishing them luck thus season though, dirk is still one of my favorite players

No bad blood for Dirk and the Mavs but I will not entrust my bitcoin to them. I rather bet on the young Minnesota this season, because even if I loose I will enjoy ewatching them
