Does anybody know when the season is going to start because I thought that it already started but it seems like I am wrong.
If anybody knows it let me know because I am looking forward to this season.

Why you thought for it in the first place? Even NBA pre-season games hasn't started at all.

Well Google is just one call away for that basic concern. Smiley

Anyways, the regular season will begin on October 25, 2016 with the hosting of current NBA Champion, the Cleveland Cavaliers. They will faced the New York Knicks with Derrick Rose as his debut for this team.
That was the biggest surprise for me in this off-season filled with interesting transfers, I always counted the knicks as an extra weight "as well as rose for 99% of the previous season with the bulls", interesting to see them together...

Howard won't. It's just his prime is over. He lost the moves, the durability, and the drive. He ain't that beast of a center anymore.
agree with you mate even he's still young like lebron but the skills and the dominance already been past, he cant deliver anymore but let see how he will make this season, star always shines when its needed.
I love to see howard take back his pride, and I hope he will do that this season and will not just stay soft again. This guys has been so good before but when he has been receiving good amount he does not make any effort like he did when he was still proving himself.
thats the problem with most players mate they are enjoying their salary and not focusing with their game anymore houston got a good line up if only howard give his best not letting only harden to play big, we knew his capability to be dominant inside but we ain't see that last season hopefully he will now.

Maybe sign of aging for him is showing, we know that Howard is bit old enough since he is in that league for so many years and provably he's capabilities to dominate inside the court are lessen just like what we've seen last season, but let should see this incoming season maybe he would do he's all best to capture some spot in playoffs and i would provably feel excited when dwight will eat those opponent in inside of the hardcourt.

But still i am a howard fan. They are just with the same age as lebron. he is although annoying. Speaking of centers, my best young centers are also cousins and davis. Davis a shooter and cousins a great bigmen ball handler. I would a good sf or pg to go with there combo.

not sure if the Cavs would want to play that run and gun. They came
back in the finals because they dictated the pace and played great Defense
(it also didn't hurt the warriors couldn't hit any shots lol)

excited for the season to start!
thats the right assessment mate cavs did not run and make sure that they have the tempo of the game even the warriors have that run and gun attack cavs still hold the ball and make a clear offense and find the right person aside from lebron who really carrying the team the whole season i know irving gave so much drama on that last game but respect to lebron who really fight for the win.
The confidence is overflowing for the entire team of cavaliers now, they had their first championship and I think it will be hard for them to beat already, though the warriors have upgraded but the cavaliers is still the stronger team.
I think they will make a repeat but it is not gonna be easy for them, warriors are much improve team now and durant can defend lebron james due to his height, so it is going to be another best finals ever if they happen to face each other.

Well it would be odd if they would face again for the 3rd straight time. But i think warriors would likely dominate the west. and may create another history. as cleveland, i think they would be 1st or 2nd in the east because i think the hawks has howard assuming he is still in his prime.
Don't have too much faith in Howard. This guy has been a cancer wherever he goes. But I hope that we get to see the vintage D12 we saw with Orlando in his earlier years. Although his knees and back are suspect and his age is also becoming a factor, he might be able to make a turnaround because he will now play in his hometown. But I don't think that would be enough to overthrow the defending champs just like that. Atlanta had seen better days and the most that they could get at this season is a top four finish in the East.
Howard looks good but when he played that is when you can tell that this guy is only overrated, he is popular before back in orlando times but his game has diminish slowly, he does not play an explosive game anymore.
No Howard used to dominate when he was in Orlando but for some reason he has never been the same sins he moved over to the Lakers and then to Houston.
I hope that he can still reach that level of play but I am starting to doubt it.

Can the New York Knicks reverse the trends that have worked so hard against them the past three years and return to the playoffs this season? I think they can, with an upgraded line up they should be more confident going forward. Health issues and familiarity might be the biggest obstacles to them going deep in the playoffs. But they should be ok, given the weak competition in the East (compared to the West).
I think they are a talented team and will make it to the playoffs maybe an 7th or 8th seeded team for me. But sadly they will not make it to the next round as they will face the either of the top 2 teams of the east.  So what do you think about the Minnesota Timberwolves? I know they are still a young team but they certainly have the talent to win against greater opponents, such as defeating the Warriors.
It will be easy for them to make it to the playoffs because they are playing in the east, but that team is not as good as the cavaliers because once again the cavaliers will dominate the east with their strong defense and offense.
thats right cavs still hot after getting the 1st crown they will do their best to keep it and if the players will stay healthy for the rest of the season for sure we will still see them back to the finals.
That's for sure because Lebron always delivers, I think it is good to be on the cavaliers now in advance and put our money on the Cleveland Cavaliers to win the east championship, easy money it is, I have doing this for 2 consecutive season and so far so good.

howard might embrace how nba works we didn't see anything from him after that popularity from orlando and nothing else happen to his carrier he just enjoying his paycheck but the dominance from the board is just a dream for his fans let see how he will play this season.
