Iverson made it to the NBA finals with a mediocre Philly team, that was a huge accomplishment. Plus he was one of the greatest fighters along with Kobe, those guys played with broken fingers, swollen knees, ailing backs, you name it.
the achievement of this little guy can't be compared to anyone since he already showcase the world of basketball when he's still at his prime iverson is the great example of a little guy who knows how to use his skills and quickness.
He was just unlucky he was not able to continue his career in NBA, he resigned at the young age due to some problems in real life, but if he would play now I would be happy to see him just for the sake of entertainment.

An Epic Class — Each year sees a new class inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame, and by nature, some classes are more star-studded than others. But the class of 2016, inducted last night in Springfield, was as big as it gets. As our own Scott Howard-Cooper writes, last night’s induction ceremony was some kind of party.
Here are some of three NBA Hall of Famers.

Shaquille O'neal, Allen Iverson and Yao Ming really deserve to be in Hall of Fame, even though Iverson and Yao has no rings. Yao has the shorter carreer of those 3 because of injury but he is really a dominant in his stint.

Shaq and Iverson being inducted is no surprise, Iverson didn't get a title but he was very close with a mediocre Philly team against much better ones like Lakers, Spurs, etc. Yao Ming career was a little dissapointing in the sense that his potential was huge, he lacked a little personality in my opinion being a chinese player among NBA superstars but he still held its own and it was a major force in the league when healthy. I remember him putting some monster numbers, stats line like +30 pts, +15 rebs, +4-5 blks were very common. You don't have centers like him or let alone Shaq anymore, the closest thing was Howard at his prime.

On the other hand the game has changed an evolved to a more perimeter focused one so it makes sense. But I would love to see young Yao or Shaq play against the Warriors, Cavs and other teams and see if they could impact today's game dynamics the way they did back then.
I want Iverson because he has great talent, I like the way he played and his discipline in the court. Though he failed to win in the championship but he was able to take his team into the playoffs many times.

Will Derrick Rose be somewhat like prime rose this season? You know he felt some type of way when Chicago dissed him.

I think he's motivated to be on that superstar level like he was before. What you think guys?

No. It's hard to bring back the prime Rose where prior to the state where his condition isn't affected much by those injuries he had. Motivation is not enough if his body isn't appropriate now on his prime status.

But one thing for sure, he can contribute much to NYK this season as we all know how D. Rose is playing well on the court.

This season we can see the reborn of derrick rose, he will try to impress the big crowd of knicks as he is in new york now. I believe in his capability and he is very entertaining to watch, let us hope fellas that he will remain healthy throughout the season to see some good action in the east.

That is the main issue with d rose, his health. I think he has not yet fully recovered his confidence after that almost 2 years not playing in the NBA because of his injury. And when he came back, I think he is not playing 100% to avoid getting injured again. I hope all these will change in knicks.
that's what he needs getting confidence back and trust coming from his coach and team mates if rose can maximize his game and continue to be healthy for the entire season he can still be a big threat as we see how paul george showing up right now he went from a big injury but when he came back indiana did not hesitate to let him play and show his skills.

well I think derrick rose will play a big part in the knicks' campaign this year although if we're talking about derrick's mvp season performance, I don't think he'll ever have the same as '10-'11 anymore. Especially now that he's with Melo.

I hope so, derrick rose was the king when he was not injured yet, they are a big threat in the east because with his presence in the floor to manage his team he can deliver both the running the play and scoring.

If we can see the good ol' Derrick Rose back in his previous seasons, he might dominate the next season, and let's expect lesser injuries to make him successful.

He should be able to do that, he has the star quality inside him already so given that his performance is great this season then he could be another superstar soon. There is no way that he wont be able to do that, unless he is unlucky with this season, something that involved injury or some sort

The main reason why he held back last year is because he saved himself for the contract year. Also, if he didn't suffer a freak injury to the head in the start of the season, and a couple of random niggles towards the end, he would have probably had a 20/4/6 season on 45% FG. Which is what he will most likely have this season and return to the all-star.

For me Derick Rose will never be the same again. He must improve more his shooting ability to be still a threat and can give a support on Carmelo. But I have still high hopes on him.
rose still deadly specially now that he moves to another team placing him beside melo and  Porzingis would be exciting to watched i don't know if how the coach will build chemistry among them since that they all have capability to lift the team but for me give more touch for  Porzingis and let rose and melo support him to win the game.

if he can control his quickness and convert it to skills derick rose can be a big threat as knicks really needed to go back to play off and show how they materialized after acquiring him, lets see what he can add to the entertaining industry for the fans of nba especially the knicks fans.
He'll be good in some stretches, but shitty in most. That's how he has been since "the return".

Melo should take some load off him. Hope they get Porzingis enough touches
me too they should let the young guy to carried them and put good support but this young boy should be the first option not the older one, as we knew how this young guy played he had a good potential to improve more just need melo and rose to give him a good back up points to win the game.
