Rondo's getting traded within the first month!
There just isn't enough basketballs around for all three of the Chicago Ballhogs to play with. Coupled with poor spacing and no shooting ability in the backcourt, Rondo is likely the one to be traded for a point guard who can actually shoot the 3. Do you guys think that Rondo/Wade/Butler is going to last? Spacing wise, shooting, off-the-ball etc are all very bad and Rondo/Wade backcourt are not exactly sipping from the fountain of youth.
I get your statement and I slightly agree with it, rondo is not really a good shooter and sometimes does not have a good relationship amount teammates due to his attitude problem, if the 3 wants to be treated as superstars they are just simply competing among themselves and not good for gambling.

I think its a little chancd that Rajon Rondo will be traded. There is always a rumor going on that Butler might be traded because of the ability to resign with the team. Possible destination is the Minnesota Timberwolves because of their coach.
What I know is that Minnesota Timberwolves has already a great line up which are still young and very hungry to get in the playoffs, with the current coach they will be more competitive in the coming season and they don't want their team familiarity with each other to be destroyed because of the new comers, definitely they will not get butler.

Whoa check this S?!t out!

Enes Kanter from the thunder disowned by family. Crazy stuff.

http://www.foxnews.com/world/2016/08/09/nba-player-disowned-by-family-in-turkey-changes-name-to-honor-us-based-cleric.html

I saw him play in high school (he played in California) I was told
he was always really into his religion and would pray at even halftime.

well there country has its own laws and ideas of honor. Well to me, he is a good player and he is a devoted in the nba and in his religion. sometimes it's hard to understand there own political or family honors. it might disrupt his play but i think he can overcome that.

The Golden State Warriors have hired Willie Green as an assistant coach/player development on Steve Kerr's staff.Green played 12 NBA seasons and was a teammate of Andre Iguodala for six of them.He last played in the NBA in 14-15 and i think he will be a good coach someday as he is liked very much by the fans

Anyone bets on outright 2017? I think it should be Warriors, if Cavs can be the winner, Lebron will be no.2 superstar in the history, no.1 is Jordan.

I'm not  a Lebron fan but if he continue playing like he does he can surpass Michael Jordan as the GOAT. No hate for Jordan, he's a legend. I'm just a basketball fan, appreciating the game.

I agree, I ain't a Lebron's fan, I am Iverson's fan, but i think his spirits are awesome, never give up, working harder. One of the greatest player in the league.
Although he is one of the best floppers in the league but still you cannot help but like this guy, lebron has so many haters and he keeps proving it everytime that is why the NBA likes him as he draws so much attention for the sports fanatics which would give them good ratings.
It helped that Lebron was gifted physically and he never lost his focus on his goals. As he always says, he doesn't get too high or too low whenever the team wins or loses. He just gives his all and delivers when needed the most. I bet most of his haters from his early Miami days have turned into fans, as well, given how he has reinvented himself into one of basketball's most revered individuals.

Just saw this report on the wire that Mark Cuban doesn't think we should send
pros to the Olympics anymore.

Not sure why he cares so much... He only has Bogut who isn't even good enough to
make USA team, he's playing for australia.

Dude is such a moron would he rather we send high school kids and get our butts
 kicked?

Well I can definitely understand that NBA teams have nothing to gain really from the Olympics and they are a risk for the players in terms of getting injured (Paul George anyone?). But I agree that international level is top notch, even NBA based teams lost against Argentina and similar squads in the past so I don't see a College or a Euroleague American players team having a shot at gold against Spain, Australia, France, etc...

Even a sub par NBA team would have a hard time (Let's say for example a starting five of Isaiah Thomas, CJ Mccollum, Wesley Matthews, Kenneth Faried & Eric Monroe). That's a very good team but I can't really say they would bring the gold.

Yes the NBA teams have nothing to gain, but I think Olympics is the battle of the best of the best. They shoukd still send theirs best player of any country. Your competing for the pride and honor of your country.

USA should send their best players from the NBA to compete in the Olympics or the other countries will eat their players alive. One time they send College and Minor league player into the Olympics and they only got bronze medal. If they want to keep their title as the best in basketball, they should send their NBA star players.
They did already, they are sending their best player and simple the other countries just can't match the skills and strength of the USA team. They are the best in the world and they have proven that several times already.
I just even wish that they send a team that is not so good so I can see a good match up for the game, apparently the current line up of the USA is unbeatable and it is clear already that they will bring home the gold medal in the basketball game.

the added poll is really funny. Whoever votes for the knicks needs to get their head checked lol. Or a super fan cause there is no
way the knicks are making it past lebron lol. Maybe the playoffs? depending if their old team doesnt get hurt.

Yes probably knicks would be taking lebron so hard but who knows? we can't really tell what would really going to happen. Of course those persons who voted knicks are a solid fans i think lol.
Lebron is the superstar in his era and the knicks could not match the current line up of the cavaliers as they are a new line up which still needs familiarity with the play and its new teammates, it takes time to achieve their goal to match but they are aging every season especially anthony.

yes but anything could happen right? That is why i will always argue with predictions that this one will surely wins lol. It happens to pacquaio and marquez 3 boxing. It was predicted that pacquiao surely dominates and yes it happens but that lucky punch end it all and it will surely going to happen also in other sports like basketball

Lance Stephenson remains an NBA free agent and he may have to head overseas to find a deal.Stephenson averaged 14.2 points per game in 26 games with the Memphis Grizzlies but they didn't pick up their team option.he clearly remains talented but teams have likely been reluctant to take a chance on his sometimes difficult personality.i think he may go to The Cavs as they lost Delly

You can't make even %20 of NBA earnings in overseas. It's the last option for an NBA player. Veteran contracts still got million of dollars every year. NBA contracts are ridiculous. It wasn't same 20 years ago, now teams don't even check for salary cap and build super teams with at least 3 superstar players near to the maximum contract.
These huge contracts are brought about by the collective bargaining agreement, which the players fought so hard to reach. With income from broadcasting partnerships, the money just flows and the players are not going to let the owners have it all. After all, they are the ones busting their ass off night in and night out while the owners sit in the court side enjoying the game and laughing all the way to the bank on their way out.

What Lebron did to Steph and Klay is underrated

Even as much as we talk about it, it's still not enough. He broke both of them, he took their souls. They started talking shit about the Bron Bron and then he came out like a basketball God and made them run to the locker room and cry. Klay wouldn't even look at Lebron after the game to shake hands, that "man" ran away and cried on the floor. He broke that team, it was so bad they had to get another broken man to help them.
