It is 100% shocking to me that OKC is doing this great, I mean they do not have any star level players aside from SGA, that dude and bunch of role players have made them a successful team somehow, and we are talking about a team that owns THIRTHY!!! picks in the next 7 years, which means that they may very well use all their picks to get even better picks (give 28th and 15th to get 10th type of deal) or they may even use it to get other players as well, they could just swap picks for a player and make the team stronger.

This team is already good, when you think about the growth they may have, they are going to be unstoppable by that logic. Or maybe this is an outlier season and next year (or even rest of this season) they may not be all that great.

They are on a mission this season, they failed on the last season but they have a good chance of making it to the playoffs as they are a more improve team with Chet playing his first regular season with the NBA. Looking at the production of Chet, we can easily say that he's been one of the biggest reason why OKC has become a very consistent now, and with SGA's consistent contribution as well, it's almost certain they'll make it, the question now is how far they can go once already in the playoffs.
Yes, this is true!
Maybe I'm talking something nonsense, but I have a strong conviction that OKC will get a seed in the playoffs of this NBA season...
Well... that's a good question and I'm also wondering how far OCK can go in the playoffs.

Tonight we will have OKC x Mavericks. I'm looking forward and i will definitely watch this game, it will indeed be a competitive and interesting game to watch.

It's a battle of number 3 (OKC) and number 4 (Dallas) in the West. This should be a great match, but unfortunately, we might not be able to witness a full strenght Dallas in this game as there are players who are listed as questionable to play, such as Hardaway Jr. and their main star Luka Doncic who missed the last game.

And it's a back to back game for Dallas, the first game, they've lost already. So I guess with Luka still sitting, Kyrie will be the one to carry the game for them. But OKC is one of the hottest team, with SGA and potential rookie of the year Chet Holmgren, who others think was over rated at the start of the season, even some fans of OKC themselves. But he is becoming what others have expected him to be and playing great so far.

Another great game to watch in the West is the game between the Kings and the defending champion Nuggets. Although Jamal Murray is still in the injury list, Reggie Jackson is doing great as he fills the role of their PG. The Kings is the favorite in this game.

These guys are good defensively, the Lakers really needed them, being back gives more boost on the Lakers defense, so can we expect them to turn themselves from inconsistent to consistent now? Smiley
agree with you mate these two players have a good impact once they see get back to the Lakers as we all know how they play inside the court and for the help of Davis in defense then both players is good to handle as we all know that vendo is a good defensive player he can guard even tho taller than him so it's a big contribute to the team once he will added to the Lakers team. And in offense they all players can still contribute by points.

The only issue with Davis is his consistency. He can be explosive on a single or 2 matches but he can’t sustain that aggressiveness long term since that big body gives him a cooldown after a heavy strain on it.

I notice that AD become less aggressive every time he has a solid performance in both offense and defense. It’s good that Lakers finally developing other players to cover for him since both AD and Lebron is getting older already.

They already made a mistake for having Westbrook since they don't have chemistry with their team so its good if Lakers would focus to create good chemistry and confidence with their current roster.

That was the biggest decision that didn't went out well, they were suppose to make a big 3 but one has became a burden, good thing they let him go after 2 season I believe, so both teams in LA are happy now. The lakers are still revolving without Lebron, and old superstar that will continue to make history, but in terms of ranking as a championship team, that I don't know if they are even at the top 3 now.

With the present status of the Lakers, I don't expect them to even reach the same success last season, but I still have some hope since the playoffs is a different atmosphere, and you know, experience gives good advantage and Lebron and AD had that.

I don't think that they are a top 3 team in the West, they are inconsistent that there are games that they look championship caliber and then the next game, they can't even score and we can see Lebron's frustration as if he wanted to be traded on other teams or doesn't want to play with Lakers.

However, there could be some good news that Vando and Rui will be back in the roster. They've missed both fo this 2, specially Vando's defense and then Rui has a great time playing for the Lakers.
They are inconsistent and that's the truth.
The Clipper team will have more harder time defeating the teams in their division which they will be matched a lot of times. Chemistry. That's what they are missing. Not with Paul George or Westbrook but with Kawhi.
This is the first time Harden will be playing with him and I think that took a toll on their team. The expectations are too high to reach especially, from their fans who thought those the best roster they could get. It's not. PG13 do have an experience with the likes of WB and Harden but Kawhi had been used to being the team leader and I don't think everyone could accept that especially with his rank and injuries. Respect is such a difficult to thing to receive from players who had been stars in other teams.
The Clippers have so much to work with. Their defensive players are out, might as well think of another strategy from Coach Ty Lue on how he can maximize his new players. I'd focus on offense if I were him. Use the Mike D'Antoni style of plays.

I mean Warriors won with a lot of help from the bench as well, there are plenty of players I have never heard of that played very well games that allowed them to have a good win against Clippers. I have never heard of "podziemski" for example and dude scored 13 points, or Kuminga had a great game and got 17 points, Dario Saric is still in the league, I thought he retired and dude had 13 points too.

So all in all, Warriors should be quite thankful to their bench team to be this good in order to win this game, and I think it's quite clear that they are going to end up with a much better result if they can keep getting this type of production from the bench all season long. Their starting five doesn't look all that championship level to me, it looks like they are fine but not at Denver levels or Celtic levels anymore, they look like a barely playoff team to me, like first round exit level team, and very best case second round exit, that's it, I do not see conference finals for them this season.

For sure Brandin Podziemski has potential after seeing that game and how Brandin Podziemski worked in this game it was really amazing right now Steve Kerr is giving him more time to play for every game and if the Golden State Warriors could get the right chemistry with Brandin Podziemski I think the 2nd team will be a great thing with Chris Paul could be a full point guard if he wish it, because even without Stephen Curry, the Warriors can manage a great play with Brandin Podziemski and Klay Thompson on the other team for sure,

I can't believe my Chicago Bulls beat the Celtics last night.  I was halfway watching, as I was also watching the Thursday night NFL football game, and had forgotten to check back in on the game and all of a sudden the final score pops up on my TV (I've got an alerts thing on my tv) that showed 120-113.. I was shocked to say the least.  No Lavine either is whats crazy.

Lavine is now out for a week. Some speculate it might be so he doesn't risk injury and that his trade is immanent.  What do you guys think?

Glad I didn't put money down on that bulls game!

Actually, it was unexpected that the Chicago Bulls won this game, and even I thought that the Milwaukee Bucks could easily get this one, but against the Chicago Bulls it was a different story, as the game was a close match that ended up with an overtime and in that overtime the Milwaukee Bucks was too tired to make this game a win for them,

Warriors is known to have a deep bench though, that's why in their run in the championship a couple of years ago, they have Nemanja Bjelica, and now they have Dario Saric to fill that role. And then Damion Lee, JP of course, Juan Toscano Anderson, Otto Porter and Moody and Payton (which is still with the Warriors).

So that's how deep their bench that time and they are trying to replicate it with Saric, Brandin Podziemski who did play good against the Clippers, lefty with a lot of moves, he even have that right hand hook. They also have a young player in Trayce Jackson-Davis, which also a eye catcher for the Warriors. But yeah, the Celtics and Denver have one of the most deepest team right now and it's hard to match that.

The Golden State Warriors snatched another prospect and for sure Brandin Podziemski is really slick, this new lad has sick moves and is always running inside the court just like Curry, and that floater is really hard to get in he is doing it easily for sure and for this game, the Golden State Warriors have really gotten a great pick this season and for sure Brandin Podziemski has proven that he is needed to be playing in the Golden State Warriors roster, for me Steve Kerr might need to experiment in getting more time to play Brandin Podziemski, Jonathan Kuminga, and Moses Moody for sure

This team is really unpredictable, however, just like last season, they entered the playoffs not on the top spot, they are even the underdog on each rounds before they got eliminated, so this team is still very dangerous if you'll ask me.

Lebron's favorite time are the playoffs moments, they excel on that with Davis, so as long as they'll qualify the playoffs, consider them as a threat and has the potential to win a championship.

However, there could be some good news that Vando and Rui will be back in the roster. They've missed both fo this 2, specially Vando's defense and then Rui has a great time playing for the Lakers.

OKC winning is one thing, but its quite bad that Lakers lost this badly as well. We are talking about how good OKC is, but we are not talking about how terrible Lakers was. We are seeing the later days of Lebrons career and he is going to retire in a few seasons at most, well we have been saying that for years but seriously he looks like he may have like 2 more seasons after this at most, if he continues anything after that then I doubt he would be any good. And with that, we are basically seeing Lakers ruin his last years, and that's not really that nice, I think it should be noted that Lakers should do a lot better to put a team around him and coaching around him that could get him another ring before he retires.

You do know that the Lakers management has done everything for Lebron. Trading every potential prospect they had since the arrival of Lebron. Although he is currently having issues with injuries, but getting AD brought them a ring at least. A very costly trade but maybe worth it. The other costly trade that I consider a failure was the Westbrook trade. I'm not even sure if the Lakers have first-round draft picks soon due to their previous costly trades.

I think the Lakers are still having a decent squad especially if they're healthy. It's just that the other teams have better plays and better team chemistry.

They actually have decent squad, but the problem is they can show their reap potential since the ball is always with Lebron. Lakers is building the career of Lebron that's why their production became questionable and their talented roster cannot show their potentials.

If Lakers should focus on how their player can share the ball and also can shoot on they touch the ball so that they could win. Since if they rely on Lebron and AD only for sure they would never go any far this season.

They already made a mistake for having Westbrook since they don't have chemistry with their team so its good if Lakers would focus to create good chemistry and confidence with their current roster.

Lol, Pat Bev, thinks he is Steph Curry and leads the Sixers, he even has something to say to the fans of Boston. But at the end of the game, it was the defense of the Celtics that hold on this undermanned Sixers.

Patrick Beverley's performance was very good in this game, considering he was close to making a triple-double. Honestly, it's unusual to see a performance like that from Beverley because he almost always plays a secondary role on the court and focuses on defense rather than offense.
I think if Embiid had been on the court, the 76ers would have beaten the Celtics.

Meanwhile, San Antonio failed to stop the visiting Hawks. Trae Young erupted especially in the 4th quarter. So Spurs are now on a 13-game losing streak. And it seems like the bleeding won't stop very soon since their next games they will travel to New Orleans and Minnesota.

I think it is to be expected that the Hawks are going to win, it's just a matter on what will be the handicap. And for those who bet on the Spurs on the + side, they will obviously win, but still at the end reason, they are on the losing streak and we don't know when it's going to end.

Well, the odds aren't as wide since the Hawks lost its last few games as well and the Spurs are at home. Betting on Spurs ML was tempting but the decision to take the +6.5 was right since the Hawks managed to escape a very close game.

Meanwhile in Phoenix, the Suns can only manage to make it as close to a tie in the last few minutes against the Nuggets in a very entertaining game. It's really hard to beat a team not just depending on a single player as the Nuggets scores were widely distributed. Jokic with 16 assists in the game.

Oklahoma City Thunder performed really well. In the second quarter, they performed better than anyone expected. I never thought that they were going to make such a big difference in one quarter that it will be really hard for their opponent to overcome. But that happened. They performed so well in the second quarter that it was almost impossible for the Lakers to make a comeback. But it was a good performance from Oklahoma, and they deserve credit for that.
Sometimes I wonder to myself how much OKC is surprising this season. I confess that because it is a reformulated team and with a large number of young players, they have shown a significant improvement and are consequently a strong candidate for the playoffs.
Let's see how OKC will perform throughout the regular season!

Neither Joel Embiid nor Tyrese Maxey could make the roster today, the 76ers starting five are Tobias Harris, Pat Bev, Morris Snr, Paul Reed and  Melton, I really don't know how they can handle the Boston Celtics at the TD Garden withou their best duo, this could easily be a blowout win for Celtics, except they get complacent and undermined the 76ers, if not this game should be over before the end of the 3rd Quarter, imo.
Undermanned 76ers. I enjoyed watching their bench playing like they are stars. Patrick Beverley showing he ain't to be underestimated when he hit some crucial shots and Celtics without Jayson Tatum (ejected with two technical fouls) had a hard time defeating them.
In the end, the Celtics still won the game by using their offensive powers against the 76ers. I love that assist by Jrue Holiday deep inside for Prichard with the shotclock almost expiring. I believe that should go to the highlights.

I couldn't agree more with you, The 76ers gave Celtics a good run for their money, and It was quite an interesting game to see with the level of competion showed by the 76ers, they were all over the place and exchnaging 3's with Celtics , and some times they just exchange layup or keep trade basket trading by any other means, at some point I doubted if it was indeed Beverley, Melton and Morris, even moreso Mo bamba with those 3 deep 3s and all.

It would have been very much merited if the 76ers had won the game.

But good experiment to put Pat Bev, for sure he will get more minutes moving forward from what he has shown in this game.
