The losing streak continues, reaching 4 games now. Once again, the offense isn't flowing effectively, and they're scoring much lower than their average before the Harden trade. They are still in the process of figuring out how to fix this issue, but with 4 losses in a row, the chances of solving the problem seem to be diminishing. The next game is against the Nuggets, and in my opinion, that's an automatic loss.
I watched this video more than 5x already. I think that many of us watched this video regarding how a reporter roasted Harden on live television and spanked him with the reality that he isn't the system, but he's the problem. For those who didn't watch the video here it is:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fE3_WfFei00On the other hand, I saw this YouTube video that was uploaded hours after they lost to Memphis. On that video is a short clip of an interview with him, and here's the link:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HrGLX6ueIT0. Basically, he said on the video that they're trying to figure it out together, and there's no negative atmosphere around the locker room even though they lost 4 in a row with him already. The Sixers now are playing way better since they traded Harden, and Maxey just recorded his first 50-point game in his career. He and Embiid are the best duos currently. Clippers are against the Nuggets in their next game. Automatic loss? As much as I want to say it, I don't want to because we just saw the Nuggets lose to the Rockets. Who'd expected that to happen? Only a few, so I would lean towards the fact that anything can happen still.
What are your thoughts on the Warriors' struggles? It's their second consecutive loss at home, and despite the scoreboard showing only a 6-point loss, there seems to be a lot happening behind those numbers. Clearly, the Warriors are facing huge challenges, and Curry is struggling to find support from his splash brother. I don't know, I think they need to start finding some consistent player and replace Klay on the line up, seems like he wasn't the same anymore after he suffered an injury.
Not enough help from other teammates offensively.
He's the oldest player who averages more than 20 PPG in their first 10 games. Let that sink in, and look how his teammates' scores in their past games. They are playing better in the first games, but they are now on a losing streak. I guess Coach Kerr knows what to do to his players. He'll make an adjustment soon. Replace Klay on the line-up? Who will? I mean I can't think of anybody.
