The Denver Nuggets are deserved champions. By the way, they had already won 4-0 in the semi-finals, there is really no measure on this team. The difference with other years is that this time Nikola Jokic was incredibly good. Without him, things would all look very different. What he shows seems so easy, but on the other hand, it is also very difficult to realize. The simplest basketball is the most difficult, but Jokic owns all facets of the game. It all looks awkward from what he's doing, like he's playing basketball for the first time, but his scanner on the court is incredibly sharp every game. Rarely makes mistakes.
He was maybe the 41th pick of his draft but he is the star of this team and multiple mvp. Of course without him they would be totally different and possibly no where near this success. We can say this for almost every team. It was impossible for three-peat Lakers without Shaq, it was impossible without Duncan on their multiple titles, impossible without Hakeem for 95 Rockets, and so on.. Jokic might even be considered a franchise player at this point, and I think rightfully so, and Nuggets would be nowhere without him naturally. I have my doubts about their future though. Can they be a multiple championship team? They have a hard future ahead of them.

The Suns don't need to improve on offense as Durant and Booker can clearly score all night. Their problem lies in their defense, but I still consider them a good team despite their loss in the playoffs. Just imagine, the Suns won two games against the Nuggets, while the Lakers were swept, and the Heat only managed to win one game. If the Suns had a strong defense during that time, I believe they would have had a better chance to win the series. So, they need to address that issue in the next season by improving their lineup, without necessarily adding another offensive player with a huge contract.

Many think about that beal's addition is really good with Suns. But they don't realize that they have now three ball dominant players ao maybe with this they will get a problem.

They should look at the current rooster of Denver since they are the famous team right now and it proves that defense is really a big factor why this team won a championship. If they just get a defensive guy who also can contribute in scoring maybe they can fill the gap what their team is lacking.

I will say that every team needs to have a balanced squad. If there are too many players who can defend in the lineup, they are not going to be able to score enough. And just like that, if there are too many attacking players in the team it is actually hard to defend. I will say that they should not look at some other team to decide what they are going to do. They should think about what is going to work for them.

I will actually agree with you and say that them having the same type of players on the team might cause some problems. But that can also indicate that the rotation is going to be really good.

In my opinion the Bradley Beal trade makes 0 sense for both teams.

Beal makes around 45mil next season. KD and Booker also have huge contracts. All 3 of them are shooters, but they will take shots away from each other.
All 3 don't really play good defense . All the do is score.

So at least one of them won't make high scores as he is used to do. So how will that player will be worth the money they pay him?

Many people say the Suns will be much stronger now, I don't see it. It's just the KD/Kyrie/JH Nets 2.0 version in my eyes, and we all know how that ended.

I have that same sentiment. All 3 are offensive firepower unless Beal or Booker will adjust.

Booker already adjusted when KD comes in, I think that is enough for the Suns to be a good offensive player. Someone will have to give up if Beal enters the line up next season.

More on scoring but less in playing tough defense, I can see this setup the way GSW did as offense will be their defense.
I mean more on moving the ball with passing and finding an open man and not with "let me do it one on one" if the new
head coach will manage that and make it successful with these 3 superstars, then maybe they've got a good chance next
season.

I'm also thinking the same, it could be either Nets 2.0, a disaster, or the 3 will click like Steph, Klay and to some extend Jordan Poole. But still though, there should be balance and I think it will still be Booker's team. They also need to beef up their bench, and obviously the man in the middle of Ayton will leave the team to chase better contract.

The Suns might turn into another Brooklyn Nets, with 3 superstars and with no role and bench players on their roster. So I don't see it as a good trade for the Suns though. Why not just trade CP3 for a good point guard or center as Ayton is also going to leave?
You are definitely right. I wish all management learned their lesson from the Brooklyn Nets' experiment. It's not about putting a lot of stars in one roster, it's about leadership and chemistry. I mean, look at the Denver Nuggets, the two known stars in their roster are Jokic and Murray only but everyone is listening in the last final minutes of the game against the Miami Heat when Jokic was shouting on the bench looking for more energy and pushing them at their limits. Leadership! Will KD do that to Booker? I doubt that and vice versa. The same goes for Bradley Beal.
We will see, I am just speculating here for now but I really don't like teams piling up all the stars just to say they are a strong team and I bet all basketball analysts will bite it and hype them up. Lucky for those who will in Phoenix, you get to see a lot of stars.

Speaking of retirement, Lou Williams not announced that he will be retiring for good after 17 seasons.

Quote
Lou Williams announced his retirement from the NBA on Sunday, ending a career after winning the league’s Sixth Man award three times and scoring more points off the bench than anyone in history.

https://www.nba.com/news/lou-williams-announces-nba-retirement
When I see Lou Williams, I also see Jamal Crawford. Two NBA players are tied for the number of 6th Man of the Year award received. 3 of them.
One of the top bench players in the league and he will not be forgotten. Him and Jamal Crawford will always be the players that will come out my brain whenever they award that title to someone else.

The Suns hope that this new trio will work, or else they will fail even to have a chance to reach the NBA playoffs next season.

Has there been a new trio formed already? I believe both CP3 and Ayton will be offloaded from the team, so the player that will hopefully join will fit the system of the Phoenix Suns. This is actually quite challenging because they have a new coach, and the success of the system hasn't been tested yet compared to the coach who was previously fired.

If it were Bradley Beal, do you think it would work? What would be the trade, CP3 + Ayton for Bradley Beal? I believe they would be sending a lot of players in exchange for one, similar to what they did when they acquired Durant.

It was really a challenging game, and yes! they really need this new adjustment so that when they find themselves in the same scenario where they are going to face the Denver Nuggets in the NBA playoffs again, they will have a high chance of defeating them that time and they also be giving them a hard time to beat them because they are not the same time that they've beat anymore, they are back more potent this time. The Suns hope that this new trio will work, or else they will fail even to have a chance to reach the NBA playoffs next season.

Bradley Beal went to the Phoenix Suns.
Phoenix Suns and Washington Wizards traded.
Phoenix Suns: Bradley Beal
Washington Wizards: Chris Paul, Landry Shamet and multiple second round picks.

I think it's good for the Phoenix Suns.
Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal these three will be fun to watch.

This trade pretty much guarantees that CP3 will never get a ring. Being traded to Washington and playing on a rebuild roster has to be disheartening for him, but he will be a veteran for the younger players to look up to.

Phoenix on the other hand just got way better. Beal is a beast. Suns got a shooter to go along with Booker, Durant, and Ayton. Should be an interesting season for the Suns next season.

I can’t believe that the Wizards took this deal. Beal must have told them he wanted out. It’s absolutely insane that the Suns managed to get Beal and didn’t have to include Ayton. It makes me wonder who they’ll be able to get for Ayton. They’re a good free agent signing and a trade away from having an absolute monster of a starting 5.
Well, it seems like that the Wizards will not keep CP3 for too long because I saw an article hours ago that they are doing some talks with the LA Clippers for a potential trade that includes CP3. If that happens, we will see CP3 going back to the Clippers after how many years.

Now there are no confirmations yet if this will push through, but depending on which players will the Clippers give, it will show if they win the trade or not. It seems like the Wizards will enter the rebuilding stage, and it will be more obvious if they will trade Porzingis for other younger players as well. Nevertheless, CP3 will not stay with the Wizards unless the Clippers will not get him.

On the other hand, if this trade will push through, the Clippers will have a legit PG again in CP3 which they are lacking last season. The Clippers don't have a legit PG that will execute plays with them, and Westbrook can't do it. The only problem is that, they've added a player that's injury prone especially in the playoffs. Kawhi, and CP3 are injury prone, but they have an elite group of all-star because they have Westbrook, CP3, PG13, and Kawhi. Let's just wait if this trade talks will push through or not.

Kind of unexpected indeed that the Suns got him without any key players involved (aside from CP3), but still, I doubt their depth as always. I just hope that Coach Vogel will develop his bench players even more.
I don't think CP3 has a legit chance in LA either for the exact reason you stated, they're all injury prone there. Kawhi if not injured also sits out for load management bs. Paul goerge misses half the season along with CP3.

I would like to see the guy get a ring before he leaves the NBA and in order to do that he needs to ask to be traded to a contender. Boston, Philadelphia, Miami, Denver, Milwaukee, or someone who has a chance.

Everyone now likes Jokic, he's a real and natural man. Speaking the truth and if there's still hater on this guy, I don't know what type of people they will like.
Yeah, genuine indeed.
While there's truth on what he said that basketball isn't really his main thing because his main thing are his horses. But no doubt that he's really good at basketball and he just took it with his team.

Much love for Jokic and they're still on the prime I guess but let's see if they'll be unbeatable and will be a back to back champ.
That's where he grew up, I also think it's a traditional thing for their family and he doesn't want to let go of it. Treasuring what you grew up with is something very important to some people and basketball is not a job after retirement. When he gets old, he will still need some money and if he can grow that stable of him then I believe he won't have any problem even after retirement. It's a solid business.

They are stacking up offensive players. Phoenix Suns seems to be putting all their money in this season and it's a scary roster now. 3 top offensive players with speed. Expect high-scoring games from the Suns when you place your bets.  Grin
This might also push Chris Paul to be better again, he will prove something to them, just like how he did during his period with the OKC Thunder. He put them back on the map when WB and KD went out. Now, he has the Unicorn and Kuzma on his side, I bet they can create chemistry with a new leader on the floor. Oh, and they have a big man Gafford is CP3 wants an alley-oop play.

So far the best team for Bradly Beal to join because this might be his chance to get to the NBA finals with them if they can successfully become the best trio in the league next season. Let's see who else will be traded this year because they will make some significant adjustment because they need it to beat the Denver Nuggets. especially the Western Conference teams because the scenario will most likely be the same if they don't adjust and get some strong players to help them return to the NBA playoffs to compete for the NBA championship once again.

I wonder why the Wizards agreed with this trade.

It's called rebuilding! You acquire draft picks and expiring contracts. I expect the Wizards to move Porzingis and even Kuzma if a good offer present itself.

With this trade, the Suns just became better, but what I would want to see is to improve their depth. Yes their starters are one of the best right now, but their depth is for me one of the worst. <...>

Suns have only one tradeable asset, and that is Ayton. They don't have any more draft picks and can only sign players with the veteran minimum. There isn't much room for roster improvement since all three Beal, KD, and Booker have the max.

Obviously, the Suns won in this trade. CP3 is past his prime already, Shamet might've been a good bench player for the Suns, but his impact with the team is close to low.

With this trade, the Suns just became better, but what I would want to see is to improve their depth. Yes their starters are one of the best right now, but their depth is for me one of the worst. We've seen Booker, and Durant played 40+ minutes every game during the last playoffs, and when fatigue got them, the team doesn't have anybody who can step up offensively especially in the bench. I also wonder how will Coach Vogel handle his new player knowing that they are more offensive minded players, and he's more of a defensive type of coach.

Well, I expect more changes in this off-season especially in their bench because I think their starting 5 is for me one of the best currently in the league.

I absolutely agree with you. The winner of this trade is the Phoenix Suns.
Bech is very important for the Phoenix Suns because, as you said, there are no players to contribute, unfortunately. I think changes are coming for the bench as well.
