I am expecting Curry to do his usual but who else will step up their game after him? Thompson should really try to have a higher shooting percentage.

Curry has been the only consistent player in the team.

Game 1 - 27 points
Game 2 - 20 points
Game 3 - 23 points
Game 4 - 31 points

Thompson has been inconsistent, but their weakest star player is Jordan Poole, who has only averaged 8 points in the last 4 games. In fact, his best game was only in Game 1 where he scored 21 points but made the wrong decision of taking the last shot instead of passing the ball back to Curry.
Looks like we are heard.
Wiggins stepped up his game one more time with 16 points in the first half and ended with 25 points. Draymond Green is also aggressive on the offensive end getting 20 points plus 10 important rebounds. I like this kind of spread of the points, that way the Lakers won't be focused on Curry so he can move freely.

Some say the Warriors just won because Anthony Davis was hurt in the last 5 minutes of the 4th quarter, but I doubt that. Davis played 32 minutes and they are having a hard time bringing the lead to single digits until Reaves made a 3-point shot in the 4th quarter.
I don't like it when people are using injuries as reasons for their favorite team's loss, the Warriors just did better on the defensive end. Gary Payton II especially, +25 when he is around, damn that was high.

The Warriors won by 15 points. That was awesome, and now the series is 3-2. They will still be on the edge in every game, but they have a chance to win the series, especially if they win on the road, which is difficult.

Green and Wiggins made great contributions, but Thompson hasn't found his rhythm yet after having a great Game 2 performance.

The top performers for the Warriors were:

Curry: 27 points
Wiggins: 25 points
Green: 20 points
Yes, and it might be scary because we might see Game 6 Klay at Crypto.com? And I think it's the contribution of Green who really covered what the Warriors is missing on Thompson right now. Although there are reports that AD might not play in Game 6 because of concussions, but I think he will though, he just need to take a rest.

Now the Warriors won on a must win at home, can they do a must win in the road or as the predictions of 6 games for the Lakers will happen next game? Lakers now, opening at -1.5 at home as favorite.

This is really tough for the bettors as Davis might be resting or in a questionable status, if you are aiming for Lakers here, that odd
is something that you might need to re-evaluate as the chance for Davis' absence might give the Warriors a decent chance of winning the game.

If Warriors will duplicate their defense and if after this bad night for Klay, he will bounce back and add that long range threat for the Warriors.

Let's wait for the update or maybe it's good to bet during the live events and enjoy watching the game.

Oh, that's too bad, I haven't bet on this game though, but if I'm not mistaken, the Warriors open up like -6.5 favorite?
I agree, and there are plenty of Lakers bets tonight because they have won the last two games. However, this game seems to be controlled by the Warriors, and unfortunately, there is some bad news for the Lakers: Davis is out with an injury. We will have to wait for further developments; if the Warriors win this game, it might affect Game 6.
If that is the case, chances are high that they might cover it. Let's just wait for the remainder of the ball game. Fans of the Warriors at Chase are going crazy, at least they won't be eliminated at their homecourt.

Yes, the score is high because they are still leading by double digits now.

I guess when teams back are against the wall, their superstar will have to come up big. And when teams like Knicks and Warriors on the brick on elimination, superstars like Brunson and Randle carry the team in their shoulders.

Similar to what Curry and the others superstars for the Warriors team, they can't just let this game slip away from him at Chase center. They are in a double digit lead and we all know that they are a big 3rd quarter team and chances are high that they can get the job done here against the Lakers.

I don't want to admit it, but the Warriors are controlling the game now and it's their pace. Their 3-point shots are falling and Draymond Green scoring 18 points already is a big bonus for the team, as he's not known for his scoring. All he does is contribute on the defensive side and find an open shooter.

As someone who bet on the Lakers, I need them to bring the deficit down to single digits so they'll have a chance in the fourth quarter. Let's see what happens.

Yeah, that points of Draymond might be the big difference in this game, it's somewhat a low scoring game, and as of this writing they are leading by 12 points, with just 6 minutes plus to play.

The Warriors still haven't been able to dominate in the first quarter. Although they started strong, the Lakers were able to come back and make it a close game. The Warriors' 3-point shooting continues to be their main weapon. If they shoot well, they have a chance to extend this series.

So far, the 3-point shooting comparison is as follows:

Warriors: 56%
Lakers: 25%

Yeah it seem the Warriors game is gonna be a nail biter.  Grin
Now the Dubs opened up a small lead again but as this series told us, 8-10 point leads can be gone within 90 seconds.

I'm a little surprised about the NY game. 1st quarter 14 points by the Knicks and in the 2nd 36. How does this happen, haha.
Was hoping the Heat would put them away today and everything looked like it after 12 minutes. Well never celebrate too early in the NBA I guess.

They needed a big game from Butler and they didn't get it. The "big 3" of NY was impressive though, especially Brunson obviously.

Right now, the Heat are on the road of doing a bit of a history.

They're one win away from reaching the Conference Finals. There is only one team who won the Conference Finals as the 8th seed, and that's the Knicks way back 98-99 season. Though they lost in the NBA Finals, they still made history. With how the Heat are playing right now, they're on the road to become the 2nd team to do it. I just don't know if they have the capabilities to win against the winner of the Sixers/Celtics match-up. Overall, the Heat are playing very impressive in this playoffs, defeating the top favorite to win the title which is the Bucks, and now one win away from clinching to the Conference Finals.

The Knicks have been controlling the game due to their big third-quarter run, but we know what the Heat can do. Hopefully, the Knicks won't panic in the fourth quarter as the Heat are slowly inching closer. From a double-digit lead by the Knicks, it's already down to 7 points, and in this situation, the Heat are already used to it since they had a big comeback win against the Bucks in their last game of the series.

85-92 is the score now.

I was surprised to see the Knicks win but I don’t think it will matter much. Now time for the main course. The Lakers have a chance to not only put the Warriors away for the season, but it’s possible tonight might be the night that LeBron James ends the Warriors’ dynasty. I think at best they have one more year together.

Its impressive triple double performance plus a win for Jokic and for sure they are hype for the fact that they can able to handle this super team and now they are 1 game away to advance on next round.

You'll be impressed with Jokic every game as that's become normal for him. With the game now back in Phoenix, the Nuggets have momentum, and I think the road team may finish the series.

In the other game, the 76ers have surprised the Celtics by winning Game 5 and taking the lead in the series. I hope we won't see a repeat of last postseason, where the Bucks faced a similar scenario.
What's more impressive with him is his stats in the first 10 games of the post season.
In the first 10 games of this playoffs, he averaged 30.6 PPG, 13.1 RPG, 9.5 APG. In the league history, there are only 2 players who made that stat line in the first 10 games of the post season. Jokic, and Oscar Robertson way back 1963. That's how impressive he is right now during the playoffs.

The Nuggets are the best all-around team right now in the West, and even in the NBA. They have one of the deepest benches right now in the league, and to see them defeating one of the considered super teams right now by double-digits is just good to see. Now the question is can they break the record where the home team wins every single game, or they will steal one on the road.

Same situation with the Miami Heat, the team fought their way to clinch a play-in spot and who could've thought that with Butler's persistence and a little bit of help from the remaining roster, they are upsetting the favorites all the way up until now that they are going against the New York Knicks. Both play-in team in respective conference is still alive and have a 3-1 advantage over their opposing teams which are currently favorites. Now, that is really unexpected.

The Miami Heat is in the 8th seed creating a great performance against the 5th seed the New York Knicks if that isn't weird enough this season has provided us with definitely good entertainment the Warriors in the 6th seed upsetting the 3rd seed Kings, while the 7th seed Lakers upset the 2nd Seed Memphis Grizzlies, but maybe the Lakers on the 7th seed could upset the 6th seed Warriors that is what we are seeing right now,

Looks like I was dead wrong about this Boston Celtics vs Philadelphia 76Ers game. I thought the Celtics would handle them easily on their home court but this game has been ugly. Boston can’t hit the side of a barn with their shots. No way you can win a game in today’s NBA when you’re shooting ~30% from the field and 25% from three point range…

It is a good thing that I haven't made any bets at all I am taking a breather after so many losses that I took, but in that game, if I bet I will also take the Boston Celtics to win it, but in that game, Tyrese Maxey has pushed up and gave the 76ers a lift up, with Joel Embiid and even though James Harden only got 17 points that were a double-double game with his assist, so it is not a bad thing for him and because there are Tyrese Maxey backing them up now,
and Tobias Harris got a double-double of 11 rebounds and 16 points but with the Celtics, I only see 3 players

Home team still perfect in the Suns/Nuggets series. Phoenix just looked like shit tonight. Made a nice run to only be down by 3 at halftime. Really want to see the Suns win it all, but Denver has the home court advantage and apparently that's been huge for the series.

There is enough spread for the Denver Nuggets while the Phoenix Suns haven't anything at all just 3 players doing their thing but I think that isn't enough the Joker got a triple-double of 13 rebounds 12 assists and 29 points, for me I would go for the Nuggets winning at home but there is an itching feeling that the Phoenix Suns will surely take a comeback and the last games for this teams will be at game 7 to close the season,

Yeah, numbers are working against the Warriors now, and we might see that their run this year might end in 6 games. They still have a good chance to win game 5 to make it 3-2, but I doubt that the Lakers are going to collapse and lost all the next 3 games to the Warriors.

Last year it was a different team, their players from the bench are doing their role. Now, it seems that Poole ego is taking over, Kuminga's mouth is opening and telling the public that he is not happy with his minutes. And then Klay Thompson is inconsistent. And yes, it was only Steph really doing that much scoring, but he needs help here. They need someone to spark the offense next game.
It's just hard to win the series requiring you to win all of the remaining games and you need not to lose any of those.

I don't think even the best team can do that having that dominance but we'll see if they'll make history against the Lakers. Still, the games aren't there yet and we have to see it ourselves if they'll make it or break it.

Every match that they'll play now anticipating that they win game 5, is like that they're on death row and they shouldn't miss it. Anyway, good luck to both of them whoever wins the game 5.

We may get 2 conference finalists tonight as a couple of 3 win teams are playing tonight. The Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat both have the chance to advance tonight and neither are must win games for them. The Knicks and Warriors both have their backs against the wall as their next loss will be their last game of the season. I’ll be watching TNT tonight!

This will be an interesting night for the most of us and I know that there are a lot of people who are rooting for the favorites to win their respective games especially the Warriors later, and I know as well that these team's chances are somewhat good enough to force another game but I don't think that both Miami Heat and the Los Angeles Lakers will just easily agree because if they can finish the whole series, they will.

I don’t think whoever wins between the Knicks and Heat really matters. Boston and Philly would both destroy either the Knicks or Heat (in my opinion). Selfishly, I just want to see LeBron play against Durant but if I’m being honest I don’t think the Suns are going to beat the Nuggets. Denver is one all star shooting guard away from having the best team in the league.

There's no chance of either the Knicks or the Heat making it to the Championship..and if it weren't for Jimmy Butler and my love of him (as a former Bull/Bulls fan) I wouldn't even be watching this series at all.  But, he's a special player and of course an incredible player when it comes to the playoffs..so if the Heat do advance, I think he'll be able to will his team to at least a win or two..but nothing else.

Chi I actually think that if it's the Knicks (which I doubt) you are right.  If miami gentlemen sweeps the Knicks they will be an issue for either Philly or Boston.  Both of those teams go to sleep at times and this miami team is all fight for 48 minutes.  They will of course be the underdog but if miami goes through I'm laying a bet on them to reach the championship.

They are on the brink of getting knockout in the NBA playoffs same as the Phoenix Suns because they kinda blowout their chance to win one of the most crucial games of the series and they ended up getting huge pressure on their upcoming games. Tomorrow the GSW will gonna try their best to stay alive but the Lakers will not let them and will need to stop them in game 5 because they cannot afford to make GSW create momentum which will gonna make them regret and struggle to win game 7 of the series.

I think the Warriors will make a big statement win tomorrow, just like they did after losing game 1.
LA will have to win the series at home, and if they don't, they will be in trouble.

Steph will carry the team tomorrow and if Klay is having a good game 5 just like in Sacramento, there is no question the series will shift back to LA.

Of course Golden State cold also blow it tomorrow but imo there is no chance they lose 4:1 . Not with this team and not at home.

Miami on the other hand might actually close it out at MSG. They are on a roll and the game will be a close one. If Jimmy Buckets has another big game the series might be over after this one.

Just really un-Warrior like the performance they've showed last game, that is a winnable game but they let it slip away and not they are down 3-1 which is hard to make that comeback. Yes, it's going to be in Chase center and they might respond big like game 2 wherein they hit a lot of 3 point shoot. Klay should get hot early so that he can really help Curry. But they still need Wiggins as well to score or Jordan Poole to provide quality minutes, not turn overs. He should really focus on this game, one game at a time to bring back his confidence. He should understand that Kerr is making adjustments and him benching him, he should not take it as an attack on him. But it seems no one can control him in their bench.

You’re right, Curry is the only player that keep his focus even the enemy team is rampaging them. Thompson and Poole are both inconsistent because they already lost their confidence due to the low accuracy of their 3 point shot. In normal game, they gain their momentum by driving inside which is not the case because of the Davis threat that is sombig to block. Warriors is limited to do a long-range shot. It's either they will be lucky to shoot all their 3s or they will lose the game. They have a very lousy defense and their bench players sucks except GP2. The rest is just not doing their 100% effort especially on recovering the ball.

It's normal that Poole will have low points since Kerr keeps him on bench to try other strategy that will work against Lakers. This series is over and I think they need a reliable forward like Durant to beat Lakers with complete roster.
It's to hard now for GSW to win the semi finals because they need to win 3 consecutive games in order to advance to the finals and we are all know that Lakers will do their best to stop them and I think they can As we can saw their previous game Lakers are too strong in defense and Davis can take good care inside. And About to GSW I don't know what happens to their star Players as what you said above only curry have a good points per game while other struggling to make points .
