Looney and Wiggins are integral to the offensive playfield in the Warriors. With Looney’s monstrous offensive rebounds, he always takes the opportunity to garner second-chance points whenever he gets the ball into his possession. Not to mention, he fits perfectly in the team chemistry of the Warriors.

No doubt! Especially Kevon Looney who hauled many rebounds for the team, even if it's an offensive ones. He may not contribute that much in-terms of points but his role is effective enough to make somebody struggle if they will force and drive through the paint. Another talent unlocked by coach Steve Kerr.

So, we now have Lakers vs Warriors in the West Semis. Man! This is like an early present to us fans because after all these years, they meet again and will be having another tough moments together. The Warriors may have an upper hand in this series but I can't really say that the Lakers will not survive this because their roster can also keep-up with what the Warriors can do. This should be fun!

A real bummer that the Kings weren’t able to win game 7 against the Warriors. I thought they were going to light the beam and end the Warriors legacy but it just wasn’t in the cards. Steph Curry showed why he’s one of the best of all time and they live to face the Lakers. That should be a great series to watch!

That goes to say that even if the Sacramento Kings are playing like elites, they are still an unexperienced team compared to what the Golden State Warriors have endured throughout the years to be like what they are now. It was not an overnight success for the team, they also had some moments being at the bottom and under the radar. I believe soon enough, the Kings will be as strong as the Warriors if they will retain their cores but I think these days, that will be too much too ask as there many factors that needed to be consider first.

Denver used the field advantage very well in the first game. The first period of the match went head-to-head. Denver recorded the winning lead in the 2nd and 4th periods. The second game of the series will be played tomorrow at the Ball Arena, which is Denver's hall. In the first match, especially in the second and fourth quarters of the fight, the Nuggets, who defended harder than their opponent, won the match by 18 points and took a 1-0 lead in the series. I think this matchup will be very competitive. Because Denver beat Minnesota 4-1 in the first round, while Phoenix beat the Las Angeles Clippers 4-1. Tomorrow the series may be 2-0, but in the next games Phoenix can make the series 2-2. The series may end 4-3 or 3-4. This is what I've been waiting for.

Looney, Wiggins, and GPII may not contribute a lot offensively, but they are very important for the Warriors due to their excellent defense. I hope Looney stays aggressive and grabs impressive rebounds every game against the bigger and stronger bigs of the LA Lakers.

Wiggins also contributes offensively on the team. Before he was in the Warriors, he was struggling to find his role as the Wolves made him a core star. But in the Warriors, he fits perfectly as an offensive machine with backup points if needed.

This series is different from the Kings, as the Lakers have a different style of play. We will see which team can impose their playing style to win.

The Lakers will likely control the paint, while the Warriors have the edge in outside shooting. Overall, I believe this will be an entertaining series to watch. As for my prediction, I think the Warriors will win the series, but it will not be easy, probably in 6 or 7 games.
Without those names that you mentioned the Golden State Warriors may not even win these games today. I actually want Coach Steve Kerr to put DiVincenzo most of the time that Jordan Poole. He seems to be out of his game lately and that's not the Poole Party that we have seen last year.
But Donte, he is something else, he could see where the ball is going, he can shoot, he can speed up the game, and more importantly he can make the offensive guy suffer by his energetic defensive method. The same goes with Moody who did a great job when a switch happens, and he will try to guard Fox. Warriors have a solid lineup and all they need is consistency.

I may have bet for the Kings but that Performance of Chef Curry is really something and should get into the history books I am watching right now Kendrick Perkins the once unbeliever that Stephen Curry can do it, was left with amazement with this game,
Yeah, I found his tweet earlier.
Perks is a certified hater of Steph, lol, but yes, it's good that everyone in the league recognized what Steph did in game 7. Never before that a 35 year old player scored 50 points in a game 7, so he did break Kevin Durant's record.

It's a record for a game 7 performance and a series number of points for a 35-year-old above player.
Kevon Looney shined the most in this game after Steph. Those important offensive rebounds that he took from the Sacramento Kings are also what made the Warriors win this game. If there's a beam that should be lighted, it will be for him. The second chance points of the Warriors have increased thanks to his effort in trying to get another shot for the team. 10 offensive rebounds and 11 defensive rebounds. He almost made more on the former than the latter which is unusual.
Crazy Looney.
And as per Klay, Looney becoming Wilt Chamberlain in this series. And if I'm not mistaken, he also established record here with that monster performance and the last time we've seen someone doing a 20+ rebounds in a series could be either a prime Dwight Howard with the Magic or Shaq with Lakers.

And checking the records:

Quote
Who had the most total rebounds in the 2022-23 Regular Season?

Playing for the Sacramento Kings, Domantas Sabonis led the NBA with a total of 973 rebounds in 79 games.

https://www.landofbasketball.com/year_by_year_stats/2022_2023_leaders_rebounds_tot_rs.htm

So Looney breaking down the rebounding leader this season in this series, that really hurts.

Too inexperienced I guess, Sabonis was nowhere to be found in the second half, while Looney is having another tremendous rebounding game. Fox, probably hurt by his injuries, can't buy a basket. And then Malik Monk saying that Curry is old? backfired on them just like what Brooks says to Lebron and they are now both eliminated.

Curry dropping 50 points in a Game 7? that's the record for now and it's hard to break that one. And so we are going to see two GOAT's going against each other and renewing their rivalries back when Lebron is still with the Cavs. The Warriors will have the home court advantage in this series and for sure will have to take advantage of that.

When the Kings let the GSW wins 3 straight games, they were in trouble and their chance of winning the series after that was really impossible because that was the GSW place and they know precisely what they going to do which was the Kings were lacking terribly. By the way, good games by the Warriors and they are gonna faced the Lakers which is really what the fans like and I'm telling you it would be like the old times again there will be lots of trash talks by both fans and also be the most watch playoffs series this year.

They don't let GSW to win but rather they became more eager to get back on their foot and their experience really show up that's why they successfully defeat Kings. But still a good season for Kings since they make their team goes to playoffs which didn't happen for long years. GSW and Lakers match up is another exciting match up to watch since we can see here if Lakers can defeat the defending champion this season. Expect lots of physicality with this game since both team want to prove something.

Physically LA definitely has the upper hand against the Warriors, so this matchup if good for them.
What's not good is the outside shooting of LA. They will get cooked from 3 if the Warriors have a half way decent game. Of course if they don't make their 3s they will be in big trouble, but that's normal.

Dubs are also lucky that they don't play against Memphis because against the Lakers they have home court advantage while if they had played the Grizzlies they would have played on the road first.

Seeing them playing weak on the road this can for sure make a the difference!

Dubs in 6 ( I hope  Grin ) !

GSW just recently beat Kings which is far more dangerous than Grizzlies because of its all around shooting accuracy. I’m expecting another game 7 match or Lakers choke since Lebron is always beaten by Curry even when he is on Cavs.

it will be an interesting duel between Warriors and Lakers, but Denver is real winner here, whoever comes through this match, will have a hard time to get pass Denver and reach Finals

with Bucks already out, Denver now has a real chance to get title in their hands, and I believe that Jokic could net his first Championship ring this season, Celtics and Heat have good chance to see Finals from other side, although matches look really interesting

I think also that's possible for Denver as they are all playing healthy and with the same good chemistry among the players,
the chance of advancing for the west finals might take place.

Though we can't conclude it yet as the series against the Suns are just started, we can only conclude after they already achieved 4 winning games.

On the other side, it's a good series again for both GSW and Lakers, another tough competition for the defending champ with a good complete
crew playing beside LeBron and AD, the winning chance is better.

They had a good start but they are not able to shoot threes. Only Obi Toppin is the one sinking down three-pointers which is unusual for the Knicks team.
Also, they are forgetting about Gabe Vincent and he is always left wide open. 5/12 in distance shots, his first time getting 5 threes in the playoff series so that means someone in the Knicks team is forgetting his station. They will badly need adjustments, especially without Randle around.

Chef Curry, oh how sweet that win is. Game 7, on the road, they are not known to win games on the road and yet they blew out the Sacramento Kings.
It must've hurt a lot for the young Kings team but this was one heck of a good experience for them, they will be better next season, I don't doubt that.
For now, give it to the experienced ones.

Lakers versus GSW will be so much fun.

Some players of the Knicks are showing off what they can do this season, but Jimmy Butler is much experience with this, and the set of players for the Heat is showing what they can do with this matchup right now even though the Heat have won this game we can not know for sure if the Knicks could get back up again, and besides it is only game 1,

I may have bet for the Kings but that Performance of Chef Curry is really something and should get into the history books I am watching right now Kendrick Perkins the once unbeliever that Stephen Curry can do it, was left with amazement with this game,

Curry really did it all in this Game 7, and the Warriors won on the road again.
They really did fool us when it comes to road games. From one of the worst teams in the road this regular season to winning back-to-back games on the road to clinch into the 2nd round? No one really can stop Curry. Even Fox in one of the interviews said that it's really hard to stop him. I mean just look at how he releases the ball, and the unpredictability of him. This is the reason why I believe that they can still get at title as long as the core players of the Warriors are still there.

Actually, I just watched the game highlights and when I did I don't know if that was the game highlights or a Stephen Curry Shootout, or best play of the year, it was masterful the whole game highlights were for him, the NBA must have love what they did on Game 7 of the playoffs, and surely even Kendrick Perkins acknowledge him now, Mike Brown is saying that Curry has carried in his back the Golden State Team and that he does what he does best, while De'Aaron Fox was really amazed and they can not stop Curry while he is moving around the court that they have let him do his thing,

Chef Curry recording 50, the most points in a game 7, damn. 30 of that is in the second half. He was given the green light to shot and he does deliver in the pivotal game 7 tonight. Steve Kerr in the post game interview says that no one can stop Steph Curry sending the message, and that is true, even Mr. Clutch DFox says that and Sabonis is lamenting the same.
Curry really did it all in this Game 7, and the Warriors won on the road again.

So the question is, who is going to guard him from the Lakers, Dennis? Austin Reaves, D'Lo? For me Warriors are going to be a bad match-up for the Lakers. They have Wiggins to guard Lebron. And then Looney/Green against AD in the paint.
None. Simple as that.

If the Lakers can't guard Curry, the Lakers will just pray that he will have a bad night or they will lose. I mean the Kings who has younger and faster players that are also elite defenders can't stop him.

Reaves? Too inexperienced to guard Curry. He will be having a hard time following him.
Schroeder? I don't think so as well.
D'Lo? He will guard Thompson.

Take note that they also have Thompson and Poole who can just erupt anytime of the game. Now the Warriors have the homecourt advantage, but it's the Lakers. It hasn't been started, and yet I'm thinking of some good player match-ups already. Looney Vs. AD, Green Vs. Lebron. Curry Vs. Huh.
Warriors won't stand a chance if they play forced games with such turnovers, such utopian thoughts against the Lakers. Payton and Wiggins must constantly attack the starting point, we have to do whatever it takes to wear out looney and draymond davis in this series, and we have to bring that giraffe davis up to the curtain in the logo in every attack, without exception. Then no matter who they defend the interior with.

They passed Sacramento as Steve Kerr finally did what he had to do. This team is a high pickn roll team. every player of this team trying to create other than curry is problematic, one of the best defenders of this team is gary payton and the pressure he puts on the opponent's attack is very valuable, in this team curry can come out in any game he wants and try 40 shots if necessary, he should try and in the playoffs he has to try and have extreme aesthetics or extreme aesthetics as in the regular season. There is no need for organized games. Simple and effective plans should be preferred over the opponent. Warriors, or rather steve kerr, did not accept these simple truths and because sacramento put a very big character, the series came here, but if this series had been played this way from the beginning, it would have ended in the 6th game at the latest.

I am always getting so excited at these stages of playoffs. Curry just played splendidly and it even gives me goose bumps at the moment. What he did last year with the title and what he did yesterday are just amazing.

Exactly, Many people underestimating Denver because Lakers and GSW is full packed with all star. The current Denver is very strong and I don’t see any team that can beat them when they are on a good shooting accuracy. I agree that Bucks is a good match for them since Giannis can tank Jokic one on one. I believe Giannis is not on the perfect this season since they beaten badly by Heat after his injury occur. I really like Giannis experience Jokic last year playoffs when his teammates is useless when he is not on the floor.

This year Jokic has a lot of stamina and he can last until the last quarter with enough energy since he is not doing all the work inside and outside.

Celtics and Heat have good chance to see Finals from other side, although matches look really interesting

I’m still 50-50 with 76ers. vs Boston. I’m interested to see if Boston can shut down Embid since Phily is weak when Embid can’t do his jam. But they can beat Boston if Embid can unleash full force in the match.

If we cannot see them both playing in the finals, then this could be the best one so far.

People thing that Lakers and GSW is the top contender for the finals ignoring the existence of the monster Denver Nuggets. Nuggets is a very strong now compared last since Jokic already have a dependent team mates like Jamal Murray and Gordon. Last Year Jokic is the only one that doing both offense and defense with their GSW match. I believe they can beat whoever won on Lakers vs GSW since this two teams will have a hard time beating each other. Probably more physical game.

It's good for GSW to take the last spot and I thought they will lose the game since its not their home court, well Steph proves to be one of the best. Now going to the Semis, GSW should prepare more because for sure Lakers is more eager to win here after losing many conference already.

GSW beat Kings on their home court on game 5 while Kings do the same on Game 6. The pattern shows how this result has a high chance of happening.

I hope you guys have realized that the Lakers ranked number 1 defensively since the trade deadline and AD just dominated the 2023 DPOY JJJ. The Kings defense is way below than the Lakers. The Lakers could actually put their normal rotation as is, they are not only defending Curry, but the whole GSW team. This is not a 1 on 1 match, it's a team match - so we don't technically analyze 1 on 1 match ups here.

Nevertheless, this is going to be a good series. Some might have said that the Grizz were a better team than the GSW, but I don't believe that either. The Grizz are so inconsistent offensively, If they can't make their shots it was an automatic L for them. GSW is a much better team than the Grizz actually and they are a much experienced team as well.
