The Raptors took the lead in the first half, and it was the Raptors that dominated the game until the final quarter. But as we entered the final period, the Chiacago Bulls started to play unbelievably. Thanks to Zach Lavine and Demar Derozan, the Bulls managed to beat their opponent Smiley
They managed to come back in the game where they fell 19 points. The season is over for the Raptors, the Chicago Bulls still have a chance

It was definitely the last quarter when the Raptors lost the game. Even in the third quarter, it did not feel like the Bulls were going to win the game. Great performance by LaVine. DeRozan also helped him a lot. The Raptors certainly had a good performance but in vain. This was certainly a very good comeback by the Bulls. I believe if the Bulls can perform confidently, which they should after this game, they certainly have a chance this season.

But in the closing of the 3rd quarter, you can sense that Bulls is not going away easy and Lavine is hitting those crazy shots and same with DeRozan.

They had a good lead, but was not able to sustain it, they try to, but the Bulls can't be denied this huge win in the road. Again, it was because of their two superstars in DeRozan and Lavine who keep the team composed even if they are in deficit rest of the game. Just too bad that the Raptors fans come to see only their team losing in that kind of fashion.

It was disappointing because they were in control of the game in the beginning and had a good lead, but they allowed the Bulls to come back.

I can say that it was the defense. The Bulls have a great defense, especially in the 2nd half, and slowly the Raptors lost confidence.

If only everyone got involved, their shooting would be better. However, they chose to rely on VanVleet, who relies more on outside shooting, while the Bulls were always looking for a high percentage shot, which is why they love to drive the ball inside.

And it's just a matter of time before VanVleet misses, and when he do, the Raptors are in trouble although Pascal Siakam trying to make the game close with his perimeter jump shots.

But as you have said, their defense is superb in the second half of the game. And then Zach Lavine playing the MVP numbers in this fight and we thought that he can't miss any shots whether outside or going inside for a easy two or and 1.

The Pelicans and Thunder are still playing, Pelicans has a slight lead after the first half.
They have been so predictable compared to OKC, where they do not rely too much on SGA. It was an entertaining game, and from the very beginning, despite the Pelicans having the lead, I always believed that OKC would not give the game easily. As I saw it, they were making great adjustments in the second half and had beaten the home team in a very close game.

2 home teams got upset today because of how they played on their home.

For the Raptors, it's their free throw shooting that's the problem. Just imagine how many free throws they've missed. 18 free throw shots, and what if all of that or at least most went in. They have a high chance to win, but they lost because of that. I wonder how Beverley is reacting right now if it happened on their home. He might've stand on the scorers table again, and throwing his jersey.

For the other game, the Thunder are overachieving already this season IMO, and for a young team to play like that, it's very impressive that's what I will say. 12 lead changes, and 11 ties, and add that the Thunder are leading most of the time, and at one point, they lead as many as 10 points. Many would've thought that the Pelicans will win on this one because they have 2 all-star players, and very good role players, but the Thunder proved us wrong, and stole one on the road. SGA, and Giddey lead the Thunder team, and will face the Timberwolves for the 8th seed. For sure, the outcome of this game will be different if Zion only played. His answer to why he isn't playing is just ridiculous. He feel that he isn't the Zion he used to? LOL!!!

Anyway, I think it's the first time that both 9th seeded teams lost to 10th seeded teams since the play-in tournament has implemented. We are now seeing play-in tournaments that are like playoffs already. The games are really entertaining. I'm not hoping that all playoff games will be like this, but I hope that most will. Cheesy

I didn’t watch the Bulls vs Raptors game but I did catch the end of the New Orleans Pelicans vs Oklahoma City Thunder game and that was exciting. I was back and forth several times over the last two minutes over who I thought was going to win. I can’t help but think if Zion would even put in a few minutes when it counts maybe this team’s outcome would be a lot different.

I would say if they had Zion it wouldn't have been a close game after all. I mean that 25+ points sitting on the bench. Who would have been able to actually stop him?

CJ McCollum had a terrible game at the worst timing. They had the game in their hands leading in the final minute (they actually made a nice comeback after being down 9 after the 3rd quarter) but terrible shots and some poor decision making cost them the chance for the 8th seed.

If you look at Valančiūnas's game you wonder why they didn't make more plays for him, they rather took forced jumpers.  Roll Eyes

Well, 3 of 4 dogs won, eager to see what happens in the last 2 games.

Well Chicago was definitely a surprise seeing the whole game. But just like the Lakers vs Twolfes game yesterday, you have to play a full 4 quarters to win a game , not just 3.

A surprising outcome that gives the bull a chance to push their way for the 8th seeds, though we all know how the competition will going to be as they will be facing the Heat. Congrats to all the Bulls backers Lavine give them decent profits.

Quote
NO vs OKC right now is going back and forth as well with NO having a slight edge at half time. Still, everything is possible since in every game so far we saw big and smaller leads melt within minutes.

OKC wins the game with a very close gap, both underdog step up and now have that chance to take the last spot, let see how they both will try to win their respective games and move up to the 8th seed.

Los Angeles Lakers defeated Minnesota 108-102 in the match that went to overtime in the qualifying game played last night. There was great contention especially in the last seconds of the match and Dennis Schröder dominated the match in extra time. Although LeBron James was the top scorer of the match, Dennis Schroeder's effective play in overtime contributed greatly to the Los Angeles Lakers winning the game. Who will come from play in in the Western Conference?

Two nail-biting games just ended. Chicago Bulls win against the Toronto Raptors despite being behind with a 19-point lead (largest) in the 1st half.
There are too many reasons behind the Raptors' sudden loss. Missing a lot of free throws 18/36, carelessness of the ball (14 turnovers), and then LaVine found his rhythm late in the game and scored 39 points. He is desperate and it can be seen in how he played.
Now, they have a chance to take the 8th spot against the Miami Heat. It will be a tough fight without a doubt.

On the West side, New Orleans Pelicans lost against the OKC Thunder. A very close game too from start to finish, I think the highest lead was just 10 points and then it will flip again. Some questionable calls did happen, I thought Ingram was fouled on that last shot. But the difference did happen when Jonas Valanciunas was hurt. If not for that, they may squeeze overtime or a win.
OKC still need to go thru the Timberwolves and I believe they can win it.

Definitely wasn't expecting the Raptors to lose at home. I watched the first half and stopped watching, thinking the game was done for. As Raptors looked fairly solid in it. Surprising result for sure but it was fairly close. A few clutch plays here and there, and the result could have been different.
That may be because you underestimated the Bulls. I have seen this Bulls team come back before from a huge deficit, and they just did it again. The good thing is that Lavine is playing like an MVP, so you cannot count this team out. The Raptors are good as a unit, but they do not have much experience in big games as was concluded. They won a championship, but that was with the old squad. Most of them now are new, though they have the same head coach.

Yes, I guess majority of the bettors think that the Toronto Raptors had this game already. But DeRozan and specially Lavine doesn't want to lose this one. They come back from a huge lead and win this game.

And with this they are going to South Beach to face the Heat if I'm not mistaken.

The Pelicans and Thunder are still playing, Pelicans has a slight lead after the first half.

Obviously a huge game tonight for my Chicago Bulls which is tipping off in order a half hour at this point.  I'm curious as to what you all think, do you think the Bulls are going to be able to take out Toronto, or do you think Toronto and my Missouri Valley Conference boy VanVleet are going to be too much for them?

Either way I put a few satoshis down on my Bulls at +5.5.  I really doubt they have any chance to even make it out of the first round if they make it in, but we shall see.
Your Chicago Bulls won on the road against the Raptors.

I just hope that the Raptors will not be haunted because of how awful they shot on the free throw line. 18/36?? In a must win situation, and you are shooting that atrocious? They also have an opportunity to tie the ball game with 3 free throws in the final seconds, but Siakam only shot 1 out of that 3 free throws. What if they shot even better in the free throw area? They would've won that game, but instead they're the ones who got eliminated in the play in tournament.

Nothing, but disappointment if you're a Raptor fan knowing how big Raptors fans are to the point that they are even watching outside the arena.

Siakam missed two out of three free throws to tie the game. I have to be honest with what I see - I think the refs were showing favor to the Raptors in this game, and the last foul that gave Siakam a 3-point free throw attempt was not in the act of shooting, or the foul was committed before it. However, the refs did not win this game, and the rig did not succeed. Congratulations to the Bulls bettors! I'm sure there were lots of winners in that game, as the Bulls had decent moneyline odds that attracted many people.

What chances does Bulls have tonight ? They are playing in 20 minutes against Raptors and even if Bulls didn't had a great season , they surely had great performances especially against good teams like Celtics , Lakers or even Bucks. Raptors on the other hand ...it's hard to know exactly what to expect from them because they had games with 130 points but also games with 85+- so it really depends if they will put up the work in defense or they will let a free game which pretty much is an advantage for Bulls.

Odds are also favoring Raptors by a mile...

So far, it's been all Raptors. I thought the Bulls would be competitive, as this is a do-or-die game for them, but the home team has been dominant, and the spread looks like it will be easily covered. Fred VanVleet has been shooting red-hot beyond the arc, and he is definitely one of the reasons for the Raptors' big win.

The Bulls have taken the lead now. They changed the tempo of the game in the second half, and they could win this game and play the Miami Heat. Lavine had a great second half, and he now has a high confidence level attacking the paint. It's still uncertain who will win, as there's plenty of time left, and the game is still very close. Good luck to the bettors, anyway.
