I don't know what's with Mark Cuban, but it seems that he really like Kyrie Irving and believed in this guy. Whereas we all know how problematic is Kyrie to the teams that he had joined before, he has so many drama in his career than playing basketball.

Yeah, we can't blame him for what had happen to the Mavs right now, but partially he had to be because he is expected to play that good and help the Mavs go to the playoffs but the opposite happen. They've lost enthusiasm, Luka is on the brink of maybe thinking why they got Kyrie in the first place.

You're right. Irving is a talented player and still has good individual stats, but that doesn't really matter because he could potentially ruin the chemistry of any team he plays for. I mean, Mark Cuban and the Mavs management should accept the fact that the Luka-Irving duo will never be effective.
So let's hope the Mavs management doesn't do another stupid thing this off-season and won't re-sign a new contract with Irving.

It's hard to think how the Mavs lost that one against the Bulls. They still had a good lead in the early fourth quarter but they can't protect it which was a shame. It's hard to close out games when majority of the team's efforts are spent on offense I guess?

Warriors already had a sizeable lead against the Kings. A good statement or impression to make ahead of the playoffs.
I was not expecting the Dallas to make it to the play-in after the series of losses they had from the last 10 games. They just lost momentum and enthusiasm pursuing a playoff spot. Not sure what happened with their roster (not a fan of the team though), but I guess they'll be rebuilding again next season. Also not sure if we see Kyrie in the same uniform next year.
Not good to see any team with Kyrie on is always struggling lol.
The narrative that he'll get traded is too great and I think he'll not be wearing that uniform again but Cuban states that he wanted to keep him considering how hefty they paid for him. They should have just keep their role players instead of Kyrie, that way Luka has more playing time with the ball, it was likely they're not in good chemistry.

I won’t be surprised that Kyrie will have a hard time to adjust on a team that has a high expectation on him. He was only replaced on the late stage of the regular season when Mavs is already on the verge of missing the playoffs. Kyrie is still doing his best to become part of his new team but adjustment is so hard if most of the key player of Mavs was traded for you and you will play on the remnant players that is not use to play with Kyrie.

We should give him next year for an adjustment. In fact, Mavs still doesn’t have a chance to proceed further on playoff even if they have spot due to there current roster condition.
I agree that his transfer to Dallas despite at the first few games where successful, still, it won't be just enough to adjust.
Well, we can reason out anything but that's really not looking good for the team when both have played together.
The expectation for him was really high and can't blame the disappointment not just from the fans but also from the team itself.
It was an expensive contract to them and a lesson as well. Anyway, everything has been seen already and we're starting to see teams getting out of the league for the season, play in schedule is within less than a week.

Expectations deteriorated pretty quickly.  They ended the season absolutely terribly.  If I were Mark Cuban I wouldn't even want Kyrie back.  Nobody thought they'd miss the playoffs before this trade was made.  Their epic collapse is a sign that star players don't have the skill gap over average players that they used to have.  Everyone is better now and you can't give up important role players just to grab a star and expect to win.  At this point I would be concerned if Kyrie signed with a team I care about.  He's toxic and it doesn't matter how many highlights he can deliver, he hasn't been able to win since leaving LeBron James.

And hopefully the Los Angeles Lakers will not try and acquire him in the off season because the roster is not that well established enough and making that kind of move will again mess up the whole roster and the hardships they took because these role players won't get any good exposures anymore. They should retain what they have because that's what the Lakers need for now. While for the Mavericks, it's expected that they will not extend Kyries contract and will let him explore his value in the free agency, just like what he want to do.

There are a lot of signs already, and Mark Cuban failed to read it, and then they give up role players that could have help them, or have help them in last year's playoff just to get Kyrie. Now they are in a mess right now, while the team that they have given Dinwiddie and others are into the playoffs, karma sucks for thte Mavs and Cuban now.

It has precedence now, and if by chance Kyrie left the Mavs, not sure what team are willing to take him in as he was toxic to any team that he went after his stint with Cavs.

^^ First time though that Luka might be having doubts with the Mavs now or even thinking why the hell they got Kyrie for nothing at the end of their regular game. It seems that they have this game already, however, they might be looking for next season already as Luka didn't play that much in this game.

For the Kings vs GSW, this could be a preview of the first round playoff series.

And as usual, Warriors living on their 3rd quarter run and now leading double digits entering the 4th.

No mate, the Golden State Warriors are in for a much difficult opponent on the first round of the playoffs this year as they are about to face the Phoenix Suns who are now resting their cores until the regular season ends. Both teams will pretty much have a difficulty because neither one of them is taking a slack for the long series game but I'm more interested how will the Suns play this 1st round because they are hungry to win at least one chip, especially CP3.

I guess that taking Kyrie has put him into that situation that he would certainly release him afterwards because it's totally too far from the expectation that he's thinking on his acquisition, it just costed him a lot of money.
We've seen many teams composed of star players but ended up with not so great chemistry and shown the collapse of the team per se.
On this, just like other teams that have been expected to be at the top during the first games, many didn't ended well at the end of the season.
That's why it's expected that if there are some news of him being released or traded by the Mavs, not gonna be a surprising headline.

Ok , after last night , I do hate Irving and this guy has managed to broke Mavs team in just a few games after his arrival.  He has no passion to play basket anymore and even if he had , the way he thinks about life in general , won't be any help for his teammates or the team that is playing on.

I so upset on this guy to simply destroying a season of Mavs and man , I do hope they will trade him tonight or simply make him a free agent and leave Dallas tonight man as no one wants him there anymore. My boy Luka has such a great season and a hard working one just for a guy like Irving to come and tell them stories about flat earth society and what other crap he thinks about.
I understand the frustration bro. As a Mavericks fan, or should I say a Luka Doncic fan I am also frustrated about how things ended up in this season. I was very hopeful they will be in a safe spot in the Western Conference and would battle the Warriors again in the first round or end up in the Conference Finals but it had been a rough road for Luka especially when the trade happened.
Brunson, Finney-Smith, and Dinwiddie, these guys are what made Luka better because they are real roleplayers that are surrounding the star to look pretty. Now, I don't see that anymore. No great smiles from Luka even if they are losing as long as it ended with a competitive game. He doesn't enjoy the game anymore which makes it sad.
Mavs will be better, but I doubt that Irving will be the one to make it happen.

Well, we indeed expect that the Mavs will have a much better run because he will get his pair who is an all-star caliber compared to what they did before the trade, but when these two began playing side by side, the outcome is not that enjoyable anymore because they are really having a hard time chasing scores because their defense is not tough anymore. Look at the Nets now, they got a much better record compared to what we expected and they even clinched a playoff spot.

The performance of the Mavs was certainly not good in the last game.
And of course, it is very frustrating for the fans to see that the team is basically getting destroyed in real time by only one player.
The team should realize that Kyrie Irving might perform well. However, he is not a very good influence on the team, the team also should realize that.

It's not all on kyries shoulders.  The players they traded away ruined their chemistry.  And as far as last night that was all on the front office.  They didn't want to lose their first round pick which they would have to the Knicks if they beat the bulls.  Their puck was top 10 protected and they would have fallen to 11th if they won, essentially losing the pick.  Sad sack of a franchise.  I hate tankers..

He is a free agent at the end of the year they can't trade him.  As a knick fan I'm pissed too.  Cuban tanked last night to keep theor 1st round pick.  They were tied for 10th to last place and the Knicks own theor pick but it's top 10 protected.  It wasn't so much Irving it was that they lost theor defense when they made the trade.  Do t blame Irving blame theor front office.

A bummer that Zion has been ruled out for the play-in tournament and likely the start of the playoffs. I’m not sure his body will ever allow him to stay healthy all season and be ready for the playoffs. That was always the concern with his size and strength. How long before they just sit him all season so he can make a playoff run? This is becoming an annual thing.

As strange as it may sound, Zion's strength is his weakness. As far as I know, he weighs 284 lbs, and that's obviously too much stress on his knees since the NBA has a very tight schedule of games during the regular season. By the way, Zion has never played all 82 games in any season in his career.
I mean, if Zion wants a long and successful career in the NBA, he should reduce his weight to at least 220-240 lbs. That would make him less injury prone.

But we all know that he was already having a hard time taking out some weights on his body because if he really can, I bet he already got some help and did it to play most of the games this season because the team really needs someone like him to have more chances every games. I mean, it's surely not that too late for Zion to get some help, he just needed more courage if he really wants to play much longer in the NBA because sooner or later, he won't exist in the league if he will not do something.

Yup, that might be a good preview for the Warriors and if I heard it right, they might also activate Wiggins to help them
in the playoff a very good two-way player who can help them a lot.

Chances that with the full force Warriors they might take the Kings or whoever might be the one that will face them coming these playoffs.

Too soon and we really can't conclude as there's always surprises ahead when teams are playing the game.
warriors players is not done yet they can make a noise from the audience which is we are all know that this team are very dangerous if thier opponent can't make A counter play then for sure a big win by the warriors because there are many star players that can make a big shot after bigshot. And for most and for all they have the best duo to duo Wiggins and poole which is very good in perimeter and talking in outside then Curry and Thompson will make a noise.
