A bummer that Zion has been ruled out for the play-in tournament and likely the start of the playoffs. I’m not sure his body will ever allow him to stay healthy all season and be ready for the playoffs. That was always the concern with his size and strength. How long before they just sit him all season so he can make a playoff run? This is becoming an annual thing.

The Suns won tonight against the Nuggets and Durant had 29 points. That’s about the only good that came out of that game for them though. Chris Paul scored 25 which is a little high for him, but they were playing against a Nuggets squad that was basically resting their entire team. Not a good look that the Suns only managed to win the game by four points.
After all, it's just a good warm-up for KD and I'm pretty sure that he will perform well in the actual upcoming NBA playoffs. Eyes are on him because the fans are counting on him to be their key role to get back to the NBA finals again and hope to win the NBA championship with him. But as you said, The Nuggets are also a scary team now that they are complete and you can see that they are not choking this time because of their current record and that would be a hell of a test for the Western Conference team to knock them out as soon as possible.
Agree on the warm up because they are using the remaining game to test compatible of this Suns new roster as much as possible before the playoffs. The win of Suns is not that convincing because they are facing against the bench players of Nuggets with a close match. I just hope that they will become synchronised faster before they will kick out on the first round of playoffs because Clippers will gonna eat them alive if they will play like that.

The win was not convincing at all from the Phoenix Suns. Kevin Durant and Paul performed really well for the Phoenix Suns. But the other players did not provide too much importance in my opinion. That’s why the performance was not convincing in my opinion. Because the Suns are not going to be able to perform well in the playoffs if there is. Solo efforts are only going to get them so far. They will have to perform as a team instead of depending too much on certain players.

4 losses in a row and Jazz is officially out of the play-in picture now. Mavericks have 2 games left, against Bulls and Spurs. Bulls guaranteed their 10th place so it's very possible for Mavs to win both games. Thunder have only one game left and they'll play with Grizzlies. Normally it'd be a though game but we probably see big rotation before play-off so Thunder may win this one. Last place for play-in will be determined in last games literally. I'm okay with both teams, either Thunder or Mavs for play-in but I don't think they'll get a spot in play-off.
I think Danny Ainge really isn't thinking of the playoffs like it's his priority. I mean he has young players, and lots of draft picks on their roster. I believe that they will be using it to get some better role players in the off-season.

As for the Mavericks, the door is still not closed for them, but it's hard that your are relying on other teams just for you to get the 10th spot. I mean if Thunder will lose against the Grizzlies, and Mavericks somehow manage to win those 2 remaining games, they will get the 10th spot. If the Thunder manages to win against the Grizzlies, and the Mavericks lost one game of their remaining 2 games, they're out of the league already. Now if the Thunder, and the Mavericks manage to win on their remaining games, we will see a tiebreaker between the 2 teams, and whoever wins will get the 10th spot.

TBH, I would love to see the Mavericks getting that 10th seed rather than the Thunder, and they won against the Kings, so maybe that built a bit of momentum for the team. The remaining 2 games of Mavericks isn't that hard because it's against the Bulls who are already in the play-in tournament, and against the Spurs who are already eliminated. Still, anything can happen and Mavericks can still lose to either one of them. Either way, the Mavericks are in a tough situation right now.

And there were moments in the 3rd quarter that the bench players are out scoring Durant, Booker and CP3 and out hustling them and take a 4 point lead. But the Suns are not bothered though, maybe they think that they can still salvage the game in the 4th quarter and that's what they did.

But a bit disappointed for the fans as yeah, they just won by just 4 points against a team that is resting their players.

While the Suns has to go full throttle in order to take this W.

It's sad that the Jazz is out for good. But it was a good season for them in spite of being branded as a rebuilding team. The team has too many future draft picks in the coming years. Lauri Markkanen showed star potential and hopefully, the management will try to start making the team competitive otherwise he is wasting his stay in Utah.

They were even in the top of the standings, Lauri Markkanen even make it to his first All Star game. And Clarkson has a break out season as well if not for his injuries the Jazz could be in the playoffs right now. So yeah, there is a big potential for this team next season.

I want to see Dallas enter the play-ins rather than OKC. The Pelicans without Zion and the Timberwolves are inconsistent teams and are still beatable especially since Dallas has more playoff runs than these teams. I am not sure what happens if in case of a tie. Is head-to-head the first option? OKC is 2-1 against the Mavs so they are most likely to qualify then.

We will have to see, Dallas and OKC are still fighting it out, both are really looking for a playoff or play-in spot.

Of course, Dallas could be a good team in the playoff because of Luka and Kyrie. We will never forget how he manhandled Phoenix Suns last season. With him and Booker trash talking but Luka having the last laugh.

Good start, a bad ending for the Jazz. We all witness how they are in the hype when they are winning most of their games in the first 10 games of the season but now they won't even make it to the play-in tournament. Well, they are a young team and the management is rebuilding their roster so I think it is given. It's just a waste of talent if their newly acquired stars will be injured, so just let them rest.

Yeah, Thunder may win it against the Grizzlies but sometimes unexpected things happen if they won't play well. One good example is the Suns almost defeated by the Nuggets bench.

2 assists for CP3. That tells us something is not right. He actually was 0 assists until the 3rd quarter, this is not the usual point god that we got used to watching. The plays are mostly isolation, I understand it because they have KD now but something must be done and I think there is a huge room for improvement.
They are playing against the Nuggets bench. They are probably not happy with that win.

^^ Yeah, hard to see why teams are still interested on Kyrie though, maybe he was really that good that Dallas took a chance on him and hope that him and Luka will work it out together, same with Lebron and Kyrie, but it didn't.

Kyrie seems to have his own mind or at least not the norm as far as NBA players goes, sometimes he acts weird, or something that we think he had some mental issues or it is just his personality. If he test the market again, then let's see what teams are going to give him that chance again.

Not sure why it will be on Kyrie if we see his performances playing with the Mavs, he still brings those numbers. I guess it was the whole team's chemistry that didn't work out for coach Kidd.

Maybe if Kyrie will stay they can still try to work things together and assess what are
the right adjustments that they will be needed to come back strong.

They are not tied anymore as they won the game against the Jazz. They had a good second half and controlled the game, which is why they were able to win by double digits. Now, there is only one game left for OKC, and that is against Memphis, which they also need to win.

Dallas is still not out, though, because if they win their last two games and OKC loses to Memphis, Dallas will be in the play-in. So, we have to follow these two teams and see which one will succeed.

My guess is that Dallas will make it easy for OKC and already lose the first of their last 2 remaining games against the Bulls.

They are so inconsistent, this would not be a surprise. And even if they win they still have to beat San Antonio in their last game as well. I know the Spurs are a terrible team but wouldn't it be funny if they actually have a chance for the playins and all they have to do is beating the Spurs in the Texas derby and they lose against a team of bench warmers and young guys. That would be hilarious.

It's a forgettable season for Dallas and they have to face the facts that they totally messed up their roster yet again.

Now Kyrie is reported to "test the market", yet sources say he just does this to squeeze out every penny out of the Mavs. He could get up to 272 million for 5 years whil from any other teams he could "only" get 201 million for 4 years.

I don't understand why team would pay this guy who has some mental issues, is super disloyal and in the past years has always been a trouble maker, that much money. After 1 year it would be considered "the worst contract in the league" , just like John Wall, Russell Westbrock and others.

And it looks like the Dallas Mavericks will win their game against the Kings. As they have a good lead now, and they are hitting their 3's and Christian Wood in a big help. Luka and Irving too has a nice game to boot.

However, the NOP are leading against the Grizzlies in a surprised twist of even. The Pelicans force a OT, and if I'm not mistaken, if they win this games, the Mavs are out of the playoff (correct me if I'm wrong).
Now they have 38 wins tied with OKC Thunder. They still have a chance to enter the play-in tournament if they can lock in all the games with a win.
They don't want a tiebreaker to happen because the record against OKC is 2-1 in favor of the Thunder. I just wish they always play this hard on both ends of the floor.

Ok, yeah they are tied with the OKC Thunder right now, but OKC has a game tonight against the Jazz and so far they are leading already and I might say that their chances to win are very high.

And if they win, the obviously, they could be in the better position against the Mavs, and even if they ended up with the same W/L column, as you have said OKC has the tie breaker because of the strength of 2-1 win they have against the Mavs.

As for today's games, I think the best team to bet on is probably OKC, with the spread, of course.

Looks like you made the right decision here as OKC is already leading the game with a double-digit lead. And knowing that the Jazz had missed some of their starters, I think it will be hard for the home team to come back. Of course, OKC will ensure that they get the win as they need to be in the play-in and eliminate Dallas in the ranking competition.

And they still leads by double digit entering the 4th quarter, Jazz though is trying to close the gap, but not sure if they have enough firepower as we all know some of their starters are already out.

SGA has already 20 points, but he is sitting at the start of the 4th and the Jazz should take advantage of it.

Thunder and Mavs though are tied as far as the standing goes, but if the Thunder win this, they could close on the T'Wolves at 9th place.

I just caught the tail end of the game between the Spurs vs Portland. San Antonio has a huge 13-0 round late in the game and take the lead from the Trailblazers. And they just hold on that lead, 4 players with 20 plus or more for the Spurs and then Tre Jones, continuing his good stats, with 18 points and 10 assists.

Heat winning against the Sixers, but then again, as I check the minutes of Joel Embiid, he just played 30 minutes and Harden 28 minutes, so maybe they just decided to just let this game be taken away from them by the Miami Heat and not risk of injuries from both of their star players.

The Warriors just announced that Andrew Wiggins will be out the remainder of the regular season.  I think the use of the words "regular season" gives Warriors fans reason to be hopeful that Wiggins will return for the playoffs.  This is likely their way to begin putting pressure on him to come back to the team while not putting pressure on him to come back to the team.  Still, the Warriors organization has been a class act throughout this entire process and I'm sure that Wiggins will return the favor by not leaving them hanging for the playoffs.  Hopefully Zion comes back for the Pels also.
Well, the Warriors only has 2 games left on the regular season, so I guess it will just be a good time for them to just let Wiggins sit, train, make some shots, and practice.

Their remaining 2 games are against the Kings, and Blazers, and both are on the road. I don't know what will be the result of the Warriors-Kings, but since we've seen Warriors played awful on the road, and it's the Kings that they're facing, there's a chance that they might lose to them. As for the Blazers-Warriors, I think the Warriors can get that win even on the road since the Blazers doesn't let Lillard play anymore this season.

I think this is a strategy for the Warriors so that they can retain that 6th seed, but it's very risky knowing that the standings on the 5th-9th are very close to each other. I guess let's just hope for Wiggins to come back on the playoffs, and be a big help for the team. Maybe this is their way also to prevent their all-star player from getting injured like many other teams who already have a spot in the playoffs are doing.
