Goodness gracious, Denver Nuggets are so kind that they've given the first-ever win for the Lakers. Kidding Aside.
I thought that the Nuggets would be able to catch up with the lead of the Lakers but that's it, it seems an achievement and many are happy with this win for the Lakers.
We are wishing them that this should be the motivation on them to get their next wins.
Yeah, finally.
I just don't like how Russ boastful gestures with just one win. They have to win more. There are 82 games in the season and I would not be that overconfident yet just because of one win. Sure, he likes celebrating but it's not yet time. There's a goal to achieve the playoffs and be on the safe seed like 1-6 to avoid being in the play-in tournament.

Anyway, I like what AD is doing, that's the AD we got used to. Post-up, mid-range shots, very high accuracy. He didn't try any three which is good.

Don't be so hard on them mate Cheesy I understand your point but they also have the right to celebrate their first win after getting five straight defeats since the season began especially Russell Westbrook who is always the center of criticism and note that it was also the first win since Darvin Ham took the post of Frank Vogel, so it's kind of a good thing to celebrate.

Now, celebrations are finished because they are back again to reality where they will be playing with the NOP. What do you think guys, can they duplicate their performance this time?

It's understndable that Lakers needed that kind of boost, after winning the game celebrating is something that

the new coach needs, a kind of appreciation coming from the whole staff, it's a gesture that they
are all respecting him and they are all believing that he can do it.

Like what you said, it's back to reality and they will be playing the NOP, looking to see more good
adjustment for the Lakers to keep the winning vibes continue.

Wow, seriously? Not because the Lakers are struggling they don't know how to win anymore, they are still a good team, lead by Lebron James so they can still win games if they will play hard. I don't know if they'll reach the playoffs, but it's still too early to judge, they still have plenty of time to do the right adjustment and I'm hoping they won't have the same season like the last one.

They were against a known competitive playoffs team and no one would ever thought they gonna win with the kinds of performances they've been showing in their last games. Though they might not gonna get to the playoffs this season, they still have a high chance obtaining super rookies in the NBA draft and that would be a real game changer for them if they managed to acquire the number 1 prospect Victor Wembanyama.

It's interesting if the Lakers can duplicate their previous victory and build momentum behind it. Their next game will be against Zion Williamson and the Pelicans who also won their last game at the same Crypto Arena against the other Los Angeles team.

The Lakers really depend on how Lebron James and AD performed because their other teammates aren't that reliable enough. No matter how far they can adjust, this line-up can only get to the first round of the playoffs as their furthest reach.

Many teams are positioning themselves to get Victor Wembanyama in the next draft. Pretty exciting what that kid can bring once he plays against the very best.

Not sure about that but who knows, a super rookie that will play together with the King and AD. Not far to happen knowing
how big is the Lakers franchise and how they manage their business.

For now, the only thing for the lakers fans is to hope that they will be able to adopt and adjust with whatever winning combination
that they still have.

Still early in this season, maybe or it is a must for them to find the missing pieces to win the game.

It's good to see teams that are at the bottom last season like Orlando, Detroit, Sacramento and Houston getting their first win after 4-5 games.
It's also good to see teams that we know that are tanking this season having more than win like OKC who has now 3 and Utah that now has 4.

Seeing the Lakers, the only team right now that still has no win is a pain in the eye and seeing Davis getting injured again and didn't play against the TWolves is a problem for them. Well, looking at their roster alone is enough to say that they can't be a playoff contender and Lebron can't carry the team anymore which is understandable knowing he already is 39 years old. His aim this season is to beat Kareem's scoring record which is achievable.

I might disagree to what @Russlenat said that the Nets are way better than the Lakers. The Nets have way better roster than the Lakers, but they still only have 1 win out of their 6 games and currently they are at the last spot. I mean yes, the Lakers doesn't have a win yet, but it will not stay like that forever because for sure they will get a win. Many are rooting for the Nets to win a title this season because of how good their roster is, and they are the top 3 in the sportsbook in the teams who will be most likely to win the title and yet they are performing like this. It's my opinion only though and for me, the Nets are worse than the Lakers.
It's always expected of Davis to get injured, that's the thing he does, ever since he became a player in NBA he has always been injured, there is a way of his body that just doesn't compute with each other and that causes him to be injured all the time.

It's just not possible for Lakers to fight for a win with this roster, they knew this, they were aware that their team sucked, they realized last year that this team can't really win much, and even with that info they still ended up playing with the same roster for some reason I do not know. I know that it's not that hard, but I believe that trades needs to be done in order for Lakers to get better. They need to get rid of Westbrook for starters, that's the biggest problem.

That said, they should have another reliable big man that will replace AD whenever he's injured or to ease his load a bit per game because they surely know that AD is really prone to such injuries. He is still young but the built of his body is not very suitable in intense games especially if it's a consecutive games like playoffs, Conference Finals and Finals. They have a chance, but they couldn't reach far if one of their reliable players will be injured because LeBron now cannot carry the team anymore.

Well, they have Damian Jones for that but he is not that reliable as the Lakers haven't nurtured his talents yet nor giving him enough exposures unlike the Warriors where they gave everybody a chance to shine as long as they have the hunger and talents, Steve Kerr will unlock those talents for them so that the Warriors will benefit from it. But in Lakers case, it's different. I don't know what is their plan but surely it's not enough and I agree with you, they should start it soon enough because AD is getting more and more injury prone.

In the end, Lakers were able to win fairly comfortably. In addition, I know that they have been going through some challenging times in recent years. However, that does not mean they have lost the ability to win games. There was no doubt that Lakers were considered to be the favorites in this match.

Initially, it seemed like this was going to be neck and neck from start to finish. In spite of this, Lakers managed to perform consistently better than their opponents. In addition, it was not as if Nuggets played really badly in the game, Lakers actually played really well. It is also my opinion that we shouldn't make any quick judgments based on a single report. From now on, I am confident that they will be able to compete more effectively.

Many were happy that the Lakers won, but no one thought the Lakers would win. I thought so too and I was wrong. Maybe this win will start a winning streak for the Lakers. It seems very difficult, but possible. If the Lakers make a habit of winning again, it'll be good for watching fun too. What the Lakers can do next is a complete mystery. Friends who are considering betting should stay away from the Lakers for a while.
I have stayed away from betting for them from day/game 1. Lessons from my history of betting for them last season.  Grin
There's a spark that I want to see before doing it and even after that win, I don't see it yet. It may be the coaching, the plays, or the players themselves but you could easily see a winning team when they are doing it right, every play, every stops, they should all be vital.

Speaking of the Lakers...  It seems like Myles Turner and Buddy Hield know what they should do...  Woj was talking to Myles Turner about a trade and he had some things to say about the Lakers...  I think specifically Buddy Hield is exactly what the Lakers are missing.  He'll come in and shoot 40% from three point range and be LeBron's best friend in no time.  I can't believe that the Lakers haven't been able to find a decent shooter for LeBron to pass the ball out to.  That's pretty much all LeBron needs to win.

It will be a good decision. 2 future picks for 2 players with shooting capability.
Who knows if that move may be the only option left to execute the "win now" goal?

It is nice to see the Lakers get a W finally. They were led by Russell Westbrook having a good shooting night off the bench as the Lakers second unit destroyed the Nuggets’ all night. A nice picture of what the Lakers are capable of.

I never thought that the Lakers could score their first win against the Nuggets because Nuggets is also a tough team to beat yet the Laker still managed to win. AD and LeBron were also alive and doing most of their jobs, but the bench players were different that night especially Wesbrook for bouncing back as he almost committed a triple double while this kid Austin Reaves was also good, contributing double digits for the team.

Their drought is over, let's hope that it's a good start for the season and they had already figured out how to win. Looking for the next win, hopefully, they'll get another one because if they'll lose again, that could be another start of the problem. Westbrook needs to be consistent, he cannot go off and on, because that's the only way to help his team.

Yeah, they're a strong team but the Lakers are also a strong team and they've been struggling to win a game. And by Thursday, they'll be playing with the Pelicans which is also a strong team. If things will go properly again for that game on Thurs, they'll be recovering from these severe losses. On the other team's news, I've just seen this lately about Spurs waiving Josh Primo due to allegations of Spurs employee against him. Poor him, becomes an instant free agent.

Here is the result of my pick today, and I am Loving it,

Washington Wizards VS Philadelphia 76ers SCORE 111 - 118 - WIN

Kristaps Porzingis really is something because of him the Wizard has gained momentum, he contributed 32 points for the team, but it wasn't enough for the 76ers James Harden had made a double-double of 17 assists and 23 points while Tyrese Maxey has 28 points while the rest of the 76ers pretty much had a contribution for the team,

Charlotte Hornets VS Sacramento Kings SCORE 108 - 115 - WIN

Mason Plumlee has made a double-double of 10 rebounds and 12 points for the team, while PJ Washington got the spotlight when he scored 28 points for the team but it was not enough because the Kings have made a team play Keegan Murray has 12 points Harrison Barnes got 16 points, Davion Mitchell got 23 and Kevin Hueter has 26, point winning the game,

Toronto Raptors VS Atlanta Hawks SCORE 139 - 109 - WIN

I really thought the Hawks would win this but it is good to listen to my instinct to switch, Both John Collins and Trae Young got a double-double performance while Dejounte Murray has 20 points but still, the Raptors have done something really great when both Gary Trent Jr. and Scottie Barnes made 21 points while Pascal Siakam did a double-double performance of 12 rebounds and 31 points, winning the game,

Utah Jazz VS Memphis Grizzlies SCORE 121 - 105 - WIN

I would bet on the Grizzlies on this match but after seeing the injury report I immediately switch my bet, and I think it is a good thing, but Ja Morant really is a force to reckon with, and 37 points only 3 on the Grizzlies team have a double-digit score, while the Jazz is surely doing the team play while Lauri Markkanen made a double-double performance of 11 rebounds and 31 points for Jazz winning the game,

Another game tomorrow for the Lakers, still against the Nuggets, so we can assume that it's another massacre? I'm guessing, their losing streak will continue after this game as they have no answer on this good team, I hope I'm wrong because I want to see their cold streak end.

Had expected the same situation because they've been defeated by the Nuggets already in their first encounter this season but this time was different, it's like they suddenly found their correct routine and synch. Westbrook bounced back too and almost got a triple double coming from the bench, surely that's shocking enough. Let's see if they can repeat their play in the next game against the Pelicans.

They need to bring that spirit and the teamwork for them to make another win. Today's game silent the critics, but for sure they are just
waiting for another loss from the Lakers and those hates will flow back.

Against the Pelicans where Zion is back, it's another challenge for the Lakers, though seeing the fun inside the locker room means a lot
for this team.

They are building good relationships and it can be converted to good chemistries inside the court, both offensive and defensive role
is very important in each game that they will play together.

After getting their 1st win of the season, they will be tested again because they are playing against a much heavier team this time and it's the Pelicans next where Zion will play. Ingram is out but the team can still handle the Lakers power especially now that the Lakers just got their form and morale back. This will be an interesting game, for sure.

Historically, Lebron had good shooters in him with the Lakers, but yeah, it seems that it's either they can't find anyone or if they found someone, the team is trying to bait them to include future draft picks which the Lakers doesn't have the luxury right now.

Anyhow, still early in this season, maybe they will finally take Turner and Hield in exchange of Westbrook or some players and it's definitely doable in their part. The Pels will be their next opponent if I'm not mistaken, they will have a day off and the game is scheduled on November 3. A tough game for them, and let's see if they will have that momentum for a 2 game winning streak.

Even Lakers are winning games, there will be always critics for them. It's just a 1 winning game though and that won't shut up their critics.

The Lakers are one of the teams that have many critics. Lebron itself has many critics too and Russel Westbrook too.

The only way to shut up their critics is for them being a champion.

This is just the first win, but how many defeats have there been before? Therefore, criticism in this case is normal, this is a magical kick that can wake up a team, and help them start winning. You see, in order to start winning Laker, it was only enough to improve the percentage of hitting 3 point shots to 43%.  Grin There is no point in talking about the championship now, they just need to start winning.

I don't know about you guys, but I am voting for this kid Lauri Markkanen to be on the All-Star even though it's still early in the season.
A 7-footer dominating the league who can shoot outside, make his way to the rim using his strength, a good defender, and with passing skills.
Above all that is his heart to close the game with a win.
With the help of veterans beside him like Conley and Gay, he will surely grow more intellect about the game.

Looks like the Kawhi Leonard and John Wall experiment is going about as expected. Kawhi is set to miss the next six games at least with the same ACL issue that’s plagued him. I don’t know the exact story with John Wall’s eligibility but he’s not playing again tonight and hasn’t put in too many minutes this season.

How about the Bucks? They’re still undefeated at 6-0 to start the season.

I think Giannis just took where he left off whether in Fiba or last year's NBA. It's just unfortunate that were not able to defend their title. But it seems that he is on a mission right now. And it's easy for gamblers to bet on the Bucks, but I don't think they were able to cover the spread in this game.

Another interesting game is the Hornets vs Kings, Hornets taking the lead most of the game but they gave it away in the 4th quarter.

They hold off the Warriors in their last game in OT, but this time, the Kings can't be denied with this win.
