Winding down.

Pretty bad game by the SMB, they lose in the game and their journey has ended.

Final score 85-100 (Meralco), not even a close game.
Congrats to Meralco and sorry to those who bet on SMB to win.

Next game coming up in 8 minutes, let's enjoy the last game of the night.

SMB -2.5 @1.85 vs Meralco, I'm an SMB fan so I'll take this risk. They might win game 1 but advancing into the semis is a herculean task for their import as he only played a few games for them and the chemistry is not there yet. Just hoping that the locals of SMB would play a big role, especially Fajardo but knowing that their import is a "score first" type of player, I'm skeptical about that one hehe.

Magnolia -6.5 @1.77 vs Phoenix, the Hotshots are just too much for the Fuel Masters. The question here is will they cover the spread?

I'm also with the other's guess that SMB might take the win at 1st game against the Meralco.

Either Moneyline or Handicap, it's worth placing money on SMB. Meralco won't' feel any pressure on that game since even they will lose, their still another game for them, unlike SMB where I do expect that they will play hard because they will be eliminated once they lose.

But hesitant to place a bet on Phoenix. They even struggle to get that last spot against NorthPorth which is actually much easier compared to defeating a top seed, Magnolia. But since they are in danger, they might cover the spread of at least +5. Undecided till now.

I'm thinking of a defensive game so the right bet is under. Also, I'm thinking that Ginebra will gain the momentum and they'll be able to beat the TNT in their do-or-die game. They had the biggest crowd since the last two years in that game, expect this Sunday to be bigger and all supporting the Gin Kings to win.

Since both Ginebra and TNT will bid goodbye after a loss, I'm also expecting a close game where Defense is the most priority. Lead over a lead is what I'm looking forward to seeing when they finally clash again. No room now for any mistakes or errors. Every play per possession is important. I'm sure both teams already know what is currently at stake if they don't do their best.

Win or Go Home, Sudden-death, Knock Out game - once a team put on that situation, they will be under pressure.

In tonight's game, I'm also expecting SMB and Phoenix to take wins first although it will be most hard to achieve by the latter.

Can't wait to see tomorrow's game (SMB vs Bolts, Magnolia vs Phoenix) if they will also have the same result where those who have a twice-to-beat advantage lose.

About these four teams plays and fighting and chasing the victory, I will put my bet to SMB and magnolia cause I am one of their fans and I am sure that they will win and also I win.
It's a good number of bet and yes you are right that it takes a risk when we bet SMB but we should, to support our favorite teams.

I'm glad we are on the same boat, let's get this one

Anyway, moving on to the scheduled games tomorrow, we have two games, and here are the betting odds.
SMB only -2.5 for a 1.81 odds, maybe you can increase that to -3.5 for betting odds.

you can also see the full odds here https://stake.com/sports/basketball

It's also good to parlay both SMB franchise, most likely you can get a double with your initial bet. Both teams show as favorite and have that good chance of winning, though inside this league there are many incidents that favorite losses the game, just like how Aces beats NLEX not sure though if Phoenix can do that same outcome.

Magnolia seems to be a well organized and balance team. Whoever inside has the capabilities to provide and act for their roles.

You can bet now or wait for the live games and see if there's good changes from the ongoing odds.

For me, I'd rather bet on the spread than parlay a bet on ML.

The parlay would only result to =2.1543=,, not so attractive on my side, so instead, I'll go for SMB -3.5 and hope they'll dominate the Meralco in this game.

I'm not surprised with the Ginebra but on Alaska win.

There are lots saying that would be their last game but they stay alive. It would be better if they were able to beat NLEX and that was a big upset and one of the greatest playoffs situations in the league's history where a lower seed team defeat a high seed team with a twice-to-beat advantage.

A great tribute to Alaska if they will be able to push more. As long as they play hard, it's always possible.
In the TNT-Ginebra series, I went on TNT to win on this series though I'm not surprised if this will go to a do-or-die game. Scottie is their secret weapon for a long time already because on how he is playing. He can shoot, he can rebound and he can pass as well that is why Ginebra got a great asset with him.

Now with the NLEX-Alaska. I already said that the imports from both teams changed that is why its hard to predict which team will win because imports are a huge part in this series but in this game, both of the imports played well. The problem is the Locals of NLEX. Either way, I believe that Coach Yeng will do something to win in their next game.

We will see SMB vs. Meralco and Magnolia vs. Phoenix tomorrow. I will go with SMB with this one and maybe its a do-or-die game as well but with Magnolia-Phoenix, I think Magnolia will win on this one tomorrow.

Coach Yeng needs to adjust and make his locals to work with his new import. It's the very key to win against Alaska they need to play

as a team and not just to keep the import of working alone. If they will manage to adjust, they still have that good chance to advance to

the next round, else, Aces will be moving to the semis with a high pride beating a twice to beat advantage of NLEX.

Something that the fans would love to see before sending the final goodbye for this franchise.

Another win is what they needed to advance to the semis, though knowing the resume of TNT, they are not just going to give it up
Without a good fight.  Roll Eyes Tongue

Both Ginebra and TNT will play their last game this quarterfinal on Saturday. No advantage at both teams as losing will give them a ticket to a Boracay. I'm expecting a close game between them on the Weekend where they should exchange leads most of the time.

Just thinking the vacation is waiting for them once they lose, they will do everything not to make that happen as they are both pressured to win. Expect more live viewers that will watch the game on Smart Araneta Coliseum on weekend.

Same here, game 1 was a high-scoring game so probably the do or die game is a very defensive game. This is very fun, looks like it's the Finals that we are watching because these two teams are very competitive and it's hard to predict who would win.

The import of TNT has to step up also, he has to match Brownlee well, otherwise they'll suffer the same result.

I think they'll be able to catch up to win this series but to do that they have to have the same rhythm of play from their recent match. If they'll able to do the impossible then that will indeed a huge upset to the whole NLEX team.

The departure of KJ McDaniels really has a big impact on the NLEX. But regardless, Alaska is also has a new import and just played once for them. Should be no excuse as both teams are playing with a new import. The role of locals is playing a big role here.

Regarding Ginebra vs. TNT, Coach Shot pointed out that they need to contain Scottie Thompson next game aside from trying to slow down Justin Brownless. Some of the major reasons why TNT is now facing a sudden-death situation.

Can't wait to see tomorrow's game (SMB vs Bolts, Magnolia vs Phoenix) if they will also have the same result where those who have a twice-to-beat advantage lose.

PBA is surely happy with the outcome of those first matches in the quarterfinals. Extending the series does mean additional profit for their revenue which is good. As always, there are people who will say that those games are somehow being influenced. Are they really watching the game? How can that be influenced were in the first place, all players are doing their best? That's way beyond acting haha.

They even considered Ginebra a threat prior to that game. They know that this team is tough to beat in a pressured game or when placed in a Do or Die situation. Now that both teams will now face the same situation next game, it will be intense pressure. Expect TNT will now unleash their 100%, same with Ginebra. Allowing Brownlee to have 38 big points and S. Thompson doing insane rebound stats at that height should be wake-up call to them.

Ginebra just doing the usual routine when they are in a tough situation like this. The team is bringing each other up and they are not giving up that quick, we don't know what would be there for us in their next meet up but one thing is for sure both teams will accelerate and try everything to win that important game.

Just what I have said, TNT is also a tough competitor considering that pride being the last season champ, it will be hard
for bettors to pick side, just how the commentators always say, "Kampihan na"

Yes, you are right, it's not a surprise seeing Ginebra winning a game they are expected to win by most of the viewers and fans. Even they show some struggles during the regular season, but with the kind of lineup, once the team solidifies the game play, expect that the team will win the game.

Well, good luck to everyone who's watching and betting today, still have another half to place your bet for those
who are not betting yet.

Yeah, good luck to me because I bet on the Ginebra and the game is very close now, either team could win in this situation, so may the lucky team wins. Fuller vs Brownlee, still Brownlee got a big impact and I hope he'll be able to carry the team.
Its good that Ginebra wins the first game, the game is very close and an intense one. This is a proof that Ginebra still want to go to the next round and will do everything to get there. Brownlee did a great job on that game, he should do more on their next game to stay alive. Congrats on that bet, hope you are able to maximize the profit.
