Good news, looks like PBA is going to resume soon if they will follow what the NBA is doing.

A message from the GAB makes me believe that PBA is going to resume soon as they are already the ones who are giving a suggestion.

Here's the news.

https://pba.ph/news/gab-raises-an-option-that-pba-teams-can-take

Quote
NO less than Games and Amusements Board chairman Baham Mitra said a "semi-bubble" in places like Batangas, Bataan, Quezon could be an option for the PBA teams to conduct their workouts.

For as long as the target region is under GCQ or a less strict quarantine status, pro teams can enter in a bubble as approved by the provisions of the Joint Administrative Order signed by the Department of Health, GAB and the Philippine Sports Commission.

Of course, the ball clubs have to seek clearances from the PBA Commissioner's Office and the local government unit who has the jurisdiction over the area.

This is indeed a good news for PBA fans but looking at the reality, it seems that we are dipping into more trouble now and people in the NCR are not minding anymore if the PBA resumes or not, all they want is to survive this crisis.

Bubble or semi-bubble is too expensive here in the Philippines so i think they better wait for the quarantine status in the NCR to be lowered to GCQ and then to MGCQ but even this time of MEQC they can start the training of teams so that when MGCQ comes, they will only need a little time for players to bring back to basketball shape.

It's expensive indeed but it can be settled between franchise owners and the PBA organization, if they close a good deal between and both sides agrees this possibilities will take place. Though for now since another MECQ has been implement inside NCR and those places that have more numbers of infected by this virus. It's best to wait for another 2 weeks and see if there's a good sign again if this Quarantine stage will be lowered back.

I believe we can survive, however, let's us not concentrate on the NCR alone, we are a country and if PBA will resume, it would make every fans in the entire country happy seeing them back on their screen.

NCR is heavily affected with the pandemic, but business has to resume and NBA is an entertainment to us, we don't spend for it, at least it could give some relief by enjoying watching the game despite of the problem we are facing now.

USA has more serious problem than us in terms of covid-19, but they continue to live as normal, for sure Filipinos can do the same.

Wow, this is another thing that will bring some chance to resume the games back.

If there's a good communication between the governors of PBA and the province admin, this kind of
actions will be good for fans who already missed the game, though it's still on process or maybe still
a proposal but chances are in a table now.

They are not a championship contender team but they are still fun to watch though.
North Port now is a different team, they are a defensive team and they also have threat inside and outside.

We seem to forget other guys in the team.

We also have Elorde ( good defender), Sean Anthony ( Good defender and shooter) and of course Kevin Ferrer who can play quality minutes.
I like the North Port team and they seem to have evolve over the period of time especially in their official colors. One of the team that has the beautiful colors on their uniform and also a team to which good players had been started like Gary David and Willie Miller others good players like Sol Mercado and Japeth Aguilar.
For me, I don't mind their uniform or whatsoever, I just want to see them improve as a team.
We have young and talented players in NP, sure they can give trouble to any team and can even become a championship contender though they are just
an underrated now but they will keep improving for sure as long as Christian will stay in the team.

For now since this is the start of the new league for PBA then I hope that North Port could get into championship games as it was happen way back lead by Terrence Romeo.

I can't remember anymore exactly if they went to the PBA finals, but I remember they played against the Alaska were they got dominated.
And correction, it was not only due to Romeo, he has his buddy Pringle.

Finally, one of my favorite young players in the PBA is going to play again.

Robert Bolick cleared to train for NorthPort after nine months

Quote
Spin.ph sources confirm that the NorthPort star guard has been given the green light to train as the 24-year-old makes his way back from an ACL injury on his right knee.

He has been allowed to participate in non-contact basketball drills, which is certainly a positive for the former Gilas Pilipinas stalwart.

Hopefully he will be 100% healthy when the season resume, Nortthport would be more interesting to watch with him back.

Also like to see  Jonathan Grey.. this young man has been so aggressive, I'm not sure if he is already back from injury.

As what i have posted here before, one of the biggest winner of this pandemic is NorthPort as they have bought more time to bring back Robert Bolick into their line-up once the PBA resumes. Bolick and Cstand tandem would be huge specially in an All-Filipino Cup.

As for Jonathan Grey, i think his injury is not so serious and i think he will be back.

There's no August, NBA might resume by October according to the Commissioner Willie Marcial.

PBA now looking at a mid-October start to season after MECQ delay

The PBA betting will be delayed again, let's focus on the NBA now.  Grin

Direct to the resume? No more meetings or approvals?

The first plan was to conduct a meeting this month if PBA will resume depends on the Metro status.

So now it was changed to a direct plan to resume and October is the target date. The PH economy will rise even without PBA resuming this year. They can sustain their finances and savings this year. Why in the rush? The number of confirmed cases is crazy as hell. If that's their decision, I hope from now on, we might see a slow down of confirmed cases every day.

That's not bad decision at all, considering the surge of the cases in Metro Manila nowadays they should delay it this month. Players health is at risk we are not capable of handling their safety like those NBA players. they have they own secutiry measurement in every team. unlike our PBA, I think we cannot handle such thing in here. that's right since we have the NBA resumed this month, let's just watch it.

For having a decision that Metro manila will comeback to MECQ theirs no doubt that the decision on not to continue the game is not bad, we all know how dangerous this pandemic is and we cannot afford to have a mass infection for this matter. We all know that we don't have the same capacity on NBA so best to have a game resume when everything is normal than having a bad step while the virus still uncontrolled.

NBA is live anyways best to enjoy it for now since the game still good to watch.

It's no use talking about them while we don't see them in action but what is interesting here is might they will have a great chemistry together its just how the coaching staff maximize them and show their potential since if they are just their and not been backed up nicely for sure they will be the same to the other big star tandem who flop since they compete to get more basket than cooperating to each other.
If they give both a chance to shine, it's not impossible for them to create a good chemistry, the team needs to improve to earn respect from other teams. All see are just popular teams playing in the Finals, maybe we need some surprises but my guess DYIP needs more time to improve and build that chemistry, even they have good young players but experience is really different and popular teams such as SMB, TNT, and GSM have that.

That 3 teams you mentioned are those veterans in terms of winning a title include to that list would be Purefoods who also got a good

present when in terms of competing, though there might be  a good twist after this resume, maybe we will see more good games coming

from the youngsters and provide more excitement to the league.

Actually that's what I'm talking about and why on earth they trade those guys while they can build a better rooster with them. Now they are in shitty situation since imagine
You mean the young teams?
Well, hopefully there will be young teams that will change the way we are seeing now, because it's boring if we always see these teams going in the Finals, of course it's expected as they are coming from big teams which are own by very rich businessmen who can afford to pay a good salary.

You can add Purefoods, they are owned by SMC, so it's expected they are good as well due to the reason I mentioned above.

Some news I read now.

Goodbye, Elite. Hello, Bossing as Blackwater to adopt new moniker

Blackwater Bossing will be the new name, that really looks "makamasa".

Yeah it's so boring to see only those big teams face in the finals maybe there's some sort of anomalies happen since PBA is business but infairness unto them they also acquired all the valuable players so maybe the other under dog teams should do some actions since if they act like shit then provably their team will struggle to go on finals.

And for blackwater instead of putting a new name best for them to strengthen their system since they are always top on low ranks in the league maybe it's time for them to focus on rebuilding the team without thinking to trade their valuable assets.

I'm not sure if they still have some valuable asset left, they traded Ray Parks to TNT right?

Who in the squad is going to lead the team now?

I really don't know how to be honest, but if you know, please tell me,  I might not disagree with you if you have a good reason.

Actually the ray parks trade is what I actually mean here since they can help the team in their run, but if you think blackwater doesn't have a valuable well check this rosters below.

Mike Cortez,Mike Tolomia,Diego Dario,Roi Sumang,Don Trollano,Ed Daquioag,Ron Dennison,Paul Desiderio,KG Canaleta,Mac Belo,James Sena,Carl Bryan Cruz,Chris Javier,Marion Magat,Rabeh Al-Hussaini,Maurice Shaw,Yousef Taha

They still have great guys on their lineups but this is not enough for them to reach on in finals or maybe in playoffs.

Rebuilding the team is the one they need and also I think it's time for them to change their coach.

If that's the final say then yes we should all focus now betting with  NBA.

We need to wait for another 2 months before we can discuss betting from this league, we can use that time to assess
more with NBA there are lots of exciting games, second round is almost approaching so expect more good betting odds.

October would be a good month to bring back the PBA games to give us more time on thinking which team to bet in the NBA lol.

But we must also remember that October is the tentative date but it all defends on how this MECQ in NCR would work out. If the spread of the virus will worsen in the next two months i think they will cancel the PBA season this year or begin the season early next year as the target date for the vaccine is in December.

Yup, the tandem of Perez and Adams is not tested yet but i have read articles saying that those guys have great chemistry during practice, hope that it could be the same during actual games.

Romeo and Pringle tandem failed because the former have attitude problem i think. TR7 back then is not a willing passer, he always intend to score while having the ball not minding his team mates.
Perez-Adams tandem will not be enough to be a competitive one in my opinion. They must've a good back up players in the roster too. Right now their roster isn't playoff contender TBH. They must get a good trades coming from different teams that will fit in their team.

The Romeo-Pringle tandem didn't worked when they are at Global Port (NorthPort now) not only because of their attitudes but because of how they are playing in the court. Both of them are good in isolation. When both of them are in the court, it will be a mess because they will not pass it since they are both iso-players. Now Romeo changed his game style when he went to the SMB. He is still an iso-player but with passing abilities too. Same with Pringle.

Maybe you can change the NBA with PBA Smiley

With regards to that article, its expected already since the President has brought back Metro Manila and other places into MECQ again after a surge of cases in the MECQ places. The October resume too isn't final since there is still a chance that at that time, the cases are still surging. Until there is no vaccine, there are no certainties into when is the resume of the PBA.

I know for sure that there are some PBA bettors here who are waiting for it to resume. I'm waiting too Cheesy.
