This weekend, Sunday, Wales will face Ukraine for a World Cup spot. Ukraine won vs Scotland previously but Wales is better so I guess the game will be harder.
It's going to be one hell of a match for Ukraine tomorrow. Unlike Scotland, Wales is one of the strongest teams in Europe. Although Wales lost their last match to Poland, they scared the life out of them. Ukraine Are Making it to RO16. I think Ukraine might actually win this but but its hard to predict this one. I will say Ukraine 3-2 Wales.
Almost everyone doubted when I said that Ukraine would beat Scotland, they said that they had a superior team and that Ukraine had only the popular clamor. Well... Ukraine won.
I also believe that Ukraine will beat Wales, they have technical quality and a lot of motivation to qualify for the Qatar World Cup.
I'm betting on them, not just with my heart, but with the awareness that they're capable of ranking.
Did Ukraine Qualify - I didn't get a chance to watch the match. But the excitement is one. The qualifying rounds have started and there are so many surprises coming up.

The most favorite team in this group is France. Some of France's star players are already showing their skills in a very beautiful way in one of the best clubs. I think France is one of the top four teams in the 2022 Qatar World Cup
Of course, no doubt, France should be in the first rank of this group. And I also do believe that France can be the candidate for the top four or semi-final of this world cup. We have seen how strong their players' lineups are. And this country may be one of the candidates for the winner. But let's see how they can prove this again.
It's clear they will be unmatched in this group stage but on the other hand for them to advance to the semi-finals there it is clear that this is a hope but sometimes the reality is not like that.
to see the actual roster in terms of even though it has an effect but I think it's quite small.
A clear example is Italy even with the condition of players who can be said to have names but what do they get now? so I think the players do have an influence but in this case teamwork is still what is needed

This weekend, Sunday, Wales will face Ukraine for a World Cup spot. Ukraine won vs Scotland previously but Wales is better so I guess the game will be harder.
Bookies are showing almost similar odds, 2.7 Wales / 2.8 Ukraine with BTTS lower than not.. It seems to be very unpredictable and either team could win.

I wanna see ukarine playing this world cup for one obvious reason and that is they are war wounded. In last match against Scotland, predictions were that Scotland will win easily as ukarine players are not very much in touch with the game. But ukarine beat them with a decisive margin, I am expecting same in coming match against Wales.
Also, considering the head to head even though it's not a guarantee, but at least Ukraine looks better than Wales. What's more, I also agree about Ukraine winning in the previous match against Scotland, at least not many of us believe Ukraine will win but the fact Ukraine won very convincingly. With these factors, I personally am quite sure that Ukraine can win, but if Wales can play well then the possibility of a draw will occur in this match.

I really don't know which team is better but I don't think Ukraine is in the best spot right now. And the same thing can be said for Wales. But seeing the recent matches I also think that Ukraine might actually end up winning this match. I expected Wales to win their last match but they did not perform as I expected. And that has certainly brought down my confidence in them. So the thing is I don't know about Ukraine but I don't trust Wales.

Mbabbe was injured denmark started the 2nd half with the same squad, cornelius scored 2 goals and backed the team. In the last part of the game, he dropped himself to the ground, the referee called the medical team and stopped the time. After 4 minutes, the match continued and Denmark won this important match. Benza scored the first goal, Cornelius closed with two goals. What a match it was, but the result was unexpected.

Yes, the result was honestly unexpected. But to be honest I don't think anyone cares about this match because it is basically a friendly match. Denmark actually tried their best to win this match and hats off to them. They actually played really well and also to my surprise defended very well. I really think France actually took the match very likely and it is very evident when we look at how they have played in that match.

Your statement looks especially interesting against the background of the fact that there will be no reigning European champions, the Italian team, at this World Cup.
By the way, today Roberto Baggio spoke on this topic, saying that such a format is insane and the European champion should automatically qualify for the World Championship. I tend to agree with him, there is 100 percent logic in this.
I agree that the European champion and other continents champions should directly go to world championship, but at the same time do we really want a team that was good enough to win Europe, but then became not so good and just be there for everyone to beat them?

I want them to fight for it and earn it, otherwise what is the point of it? This is why I both agree and disagree, I agree that one achievement should be rewarded, but I think maybe something other than entry to WC right away? Maybe something else, like maybe easier path to WC? Or better things for next Europe one? I do not know, but direct entry to WC shouldn't be it, because one team could get worse between Europe win to WC entry.

Theoretically, we can say that these are two different tournaments, so it is normal that the champion of one tournament may not make it to the final part of another. But in fact, there is such a thing as status, and when the champion of the strongest region in the world is absent at the World Cup, this hits the prestige of the tournament and, in fact, it can hardly be called world.

It seems Bookies are considering Ukraine  recent win so they provide almost the same odds for the betting market
I also hesitate to choose who will win but as a gambler i see better options like Both teams to score, Wales are certainly better but Ukraine have been aggressive recently.

Most members of this forum predicted a sure victory for Scotland against Ukraine and now the opinion has changed and everyone expects Ukraine to beat Wales.
Given the war situation and the impossibility of real preparations, none of us was sure how ready and good Ukraine is, but against Scotland they showed their strength and quality.
I expect the match between Wales and Ukraine to be very uncertain and much harder for Ukraine given that Wales is a better team than Scotland.
In such uncertain matches, one good move can decide the winner and Wales has a player for such top moves that solve the match, and that is of course Bale.

I think every referee should give at least 5-10% precedence and advantage to Ukraine for what they are suffering right now in their country although the referee should be 100% neutral no matter what.Based on this fact and the fact that the recent games of both teams showed Ukraine as somewhat better compared to the last game of Wales it looks like Ukraine will make it to the World Cup.

I know Wales has Bale which is clearly the best player in this game and he may be decisive to give Wales the victory, all the team from what I see is focused on playing to assist Bale and if they manage to do so,there is nothing stopping Wales from going to the World Cup.

I can't believe that they have announced that they will retire after competing in the World Cup for their last edition match, we have lost 2 star players at once after the World Cup match ended, I hope they present spectacular matches for each country until the final match.
It would be strange if they didn't leave the national team after this championship - after all, it's the pinnacle of a four-year cycle and their age means they won't make it to the next World Cup. It's better to leave on time than when you're dragging the team down. By the way, if I remember correctly, Messi has already ended his career in the national team several times and then resumed it.
Indeed, we know how old they are right now and how old they will be in the next world cup. This is actually a usual decision made by players who have been in the age that is not long enough.
What we can expect right now is their performance and contribution during this world cup this season. We may not expect too much because sometimes, a big star player in a club may not be able to be  a very big star in their country. It still has several points and reasons why sometimes this happens.

The most favorite team in this group is France. Some of France's star players are already showing their skills in a very beautiful way in one of the best clubs. I think France is one of the top four teams in the 2022 Qatar World Cup
Of course, no doubt, France . And I also do believe that France can be the candidate for the top four or semi-final of this world cup. We have seen how strong their players' lineups are. And this country may be one of the candidates for the winner. But let's see how they can prove this again.

This world cup I am expecting an underdog to lift the trophy. In the history of the World Cup competition no Asian or African country have won the world cup. Qatar 2022 might be different. I expect countries in Africa or Asia to win the world cup because they are coming to this competition with alot of experience and quality squad. Although these teams might be comparable with thier counterparts in Europe and America, but when Mother Luck is by thier side, anything is possible. Please watch out for teams in especially Africa.
I remember very well that in the last world olympics several totally unknown teams and athletes even took Olympic medals, so I wouldn't be surprised if the same thing happened at the Fifa World Cup.
In all categories, people's sports skills are very balanced.
I'm Brazilian and I support my country's team, but it would be very interesting to see an African country lift the cup and give a moral lesson to FIFA and to big teams that think they are the favourites.

Actually, I am thinking about something funny Cheesy.

For a long time, the team which has been winning the world cup is getting knocked out from the group stage of the world cup and I wonder if that might happen with France this time.
I don't think that is going to happen because France is a very strong team but I am not going to be very surprised if that happens either Cheesy.

Jokes aside I actually think France might have a good chance of winning the world cup.
You mean france going to win the world cup back to back this time?

There is no nation other than italy back in 1934 & 1938 also brazil back in 1958 & 1962 who managed to win the world cup in two editions consecutively.
Well , football always provide tons of surprises ... no matter how good the squad is or how great the current form , things could always went out of the script.
France with its golden era players and japan the one that always providing some entertainment for being the underestimated underdog could meet at the final unexpectedly right?
Nobody knows .. but i wish it did happened though , my favorite , japan.

I think this may be the saddest World Cup for many around the world. Because a lot of soccer superstar that we have come to love over the years would be wearing their national team jersey for the last time on a World Cup stage, players like leonel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Toni kross, Sergio Ramos, Neymar, busquet, Alba and many more the list is long, But so far Argentina matches has had the most sort out ticket by fans so far this means that Messi would be missed the most.
This World Cup edition become last time for several star player like Cristiano Ronaldo until Lionel Messi. Fans expected both them could reach until final, between Portugal and Argentina not really interested for discussing because I think noth countries can't achieve good result on World Cup. But very sad will have between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi will announce retired from national country after this World Cup edition ended. I really sad with my national country Italy failed reach to World Cup this time.

Di maria also said that this will be his last world cup, he will return to play in the local argentina team, despite the rumors that juventus wants him, I doubt that juventus and Di maria will reach any agreement. about cristiano ronaldo and messi, they will only bet on the main team of their country, they will only leave their places to younger people and will continue to play in their respective clubs, in which case cristiano ronaldo will continue in manchester united and messi will remain at PSG until they retire

I can't imagine a world cup with the absence of some big names in world football,,,the likes of Argentina's Angel Di'Maria,,, Portugal's Cristiano RONALDO,, Argentine's Leo MESSI Brazilians Marcelo,,French's Karim BENZEMA,, Polish Robert Lewandoski,, Uruguay's Luis Suarez and Edison  Cavani,, German's Manuel Nuer,, and so many others that will be calling it an end to thier international careers they will be missed but the good thing is that upcoming stars are always available to replace them and that will be advantage to the different national teams that will be affected.. but surely they will be missed... It's gonna be an interesting world cup because this players that might be playing their last world'cup will want to call it an end to their international career with at least a successful world cup outing..

The European continent is where you have the most competitive and famous leagues, so it is natural that they also have the best teams for this world, but unfortunately Europe has lost against the American continent when it comes to having great players in the main team, an example of this is that argentina and brazil, which are two strong teams, have more than 70% of their players playing in europe and when it comes their turn to play against a european country they easily win

Wow! This is quite surprising Belgium losing by four goals to nil by Netherlands, they didn't score a goal, that's awful of them, despite playing lots of their key players Belgium couldn't score, currently at 89th minutes as of now

Edit: Belgium put one in, that was their first loss to Netherlands since 25 years, Van Gaal gots his tactics right this time around against Belgium

Yes this really surprised us how could the top team beat with a big score or the ability of the Belgium players has faded or just an unlucky day
Anyway this should be a note for the Belgium coach like there is a blemish that must be covered. By the way memphis Depay is on fire he played better than when he played in Barcelona.
