I'll probably root for Austria because I watch more of their players in the Bundesliga.

In this match, I see no other option than a convincing victory for the hosts. Nobody needs to be convinced about the class of the Italian national team. Additionally, in the visiting team, their best player Eljif Elmas has a break cause of the cards. There are a lot of great matches in South America too... Brazil vs Chile - for Chile this is a very important match in which they can get a trip to the World Cup, except that Brazil have yet to lose in all 15 games of this qualifying round... But they don't have much motivation either because they got to the World Cup anyway... I think both teams will score here... Uruguay vs Peru should also be dramatic because both teams need to win!

I think he asks about have away or home match, just have single match only without home and away who as success win on this match will against between another match Italy vs North Macedonia and just the only one country one each stage will play on world cup. Have potential this world cup event without Portugal or Italy as contestant because both country have on the same group and each group just got one country only for playing on FIFA World Cup Qatar. Another path group have Path A, Wales, Austria, Scotland, Ukraine and just one team only will get final world cup beside still have on Path B with countries Czech Republic, Poland, Russia have eliminating and Sweden.

Portugal should be slight favourites, but they're not clear favourites. Turkey aren't some random team, they did finish second in their group, above Norway, and only 2 points behind the Netherlands. Play-off matches are like cup ties, rather than the full qualification campaign which is a league... in play-off games it's winner-takes-all, and I don't think we can write Turkey off.

In principle I would agree with you: Turkey is not a totally weak team and in the past they have shown that on a good day they can compete with the "big teams" in Europe, however, in the recent past we haven't seen many successes of Turkey.
If I look at their last games: In the EURO they lost all games in the group stage, even against not-so-strong teams like Switzerland and Wales. Their last wins against better teams are about 1 year ago already (4-2 vs Netherlands in the FIFA qualifiers and 3-0 against Norway). Now they'll play in Portugal, which is not a top world class team either, but plays more consistently than Turkey and has Ronaldo. Anything but a Portugal win today would come as a huge surprise for me.
