Mere looking at the group standings, one would think Turkey are in quite a form, but most of the qualifiers fixtures have been played as far back as march, except for the most recent ones against, so It's much more logical to put into consideration Turkey's performance at the Euro before placing a bet on this fixture, it was an awful outing for them in the Euro, and I choose not to believe that they're now a different team simply because they've drew against Montenegro and defeated Gibraltar.

Netherlands is having home advantage and it will be difficult for Turkey to get some points from this match. But another match to look out for in the same group is the one between Norway and Gibraltar. Norway is almost assured of 3 points and that will make their total 13 from 6 matches. Netherlands is currently having 10 from 5 matches, and in case they win against Turkey, then they will also be at 13 points from 6 matches. It is going to be exciting. A draw for the Oranje would mean their relegation to the third spot.

honestly this really surprised me, Serbia is in first place in the temporary standings in Group A while Turkey is in first place in Group G temporary standings

Although Turkey defeated Norway and Netherlands, they drew with Latvia and Montenegro in their home stadium. And I think that they lost a big advantage after these happened. In my opinion, Netherlands will take the lead back by defeating Turkey home by a big gap tomorrow.

And it's a wrap for Sundays games and with the only match having no goal was Switzerland vs Italy ,both created goal sxoring chances but nothing materilized in goals not what any of us expected from the Euro champs but created goes to the Swiss team for not allowing what happened to them the last time they met and lost 3-0.

Glad to see that the Italian team came back down to Earth after winning the Euro 2020 championship.
Still it is impressive to notice Mancini's achievement: this was the 36th consecutive positive game for a national team (only Brazil did the same).
The game was fairly balanced, I imagined it could have ended in a draw but I was not expecting a lack of goals. Worst scene of the game? Jorginho's penalty!
The next game on Wednesday against Lithuania becomes crucial for securing the qualification.

yeah its amazing what the Italians have been doing breaking  the record of Brazil and Spain  and they are currently the most consistent team that has reached a series of stability without losing for match 36.
This reflects the mythical continuity that the team has reached. Italywhent it gets sick, the whole world goes to her and does what tgey did, but when she comes back.
They are l the one who goes to them and restores the honor, as if getting the euro was not enough to forget the years of hibernation, so the Italians now refuse to lose even at the time of joking.

I'm favoring Italy and France both in their next games. They both got draws two times in a row recently against weaker opponents. This is really unacceptable considering the fans especially. I think that it is the compensating time for both of these teams. France should be able to defeat Finland with at least 2-goal difference. And Italy should be able to demolish Lithuania with at least a 3 or 4-goal difference.

That's true. And currently these are the ten teams that are placed at the second position in their groups:

1. Portugal
2. Sweden
3. Switzerland
4. Fnland
5. Czechia
6. Israel
7. Netherlands
8. Croatia
9. Poland
10. Armenia

As you can see, all of them are very strong teams (perhaps with the exception of Armenia and Poland). The competition for the last 3 qualification sports is going to be fierce.
I agree with Armenia is not a strong team but Poland is a strong team, we can see from the history of the matches that Poland has done since match 1 and they only drew 1 and lost 1
Poland looks like a new threat to other strong teams

France are the home team against Finland this time. France drew with Bosnia and Ukraine consecutively with the same score (1-1). Normally, they would have won these matches quite easily. Maybe you can say that Ukraine are not a weak team but they are still not a match for France honestly. However, France didn't put in really great effort in these games. Maybe they have an easy group but the fans should be angry at them due to this kind of results. I hope that France will defeat Finland and put an end to this draw streak.

I'm not really sure how do you rate strong and weak teams. Ok, Armenia is weak team, they don't haveworld class players, except Mkhitaryan. But Poland, really? They are regular participants of EURO and World Cups.  While Isreal is one of underdogs, they never played in EURO and haven't qualified to World Cup for 50 years. And Finland - EURO 2020 was their first international tournament ever.

I also don't understand why he put Poland at number 9 on his list. Is he not aware of the Polish team? Or has he not had a chance to watch any of Poland's matches yet? Poland has scored 11 goals and conceded just two in their last two matches. Poland's squad includes star players like Lewandowski. Yet I do not understand why he thinks this team is weak.

Belgium vs Czech Republic and Switzerland vs Italy games have already started. Belgium are dominating the game just as I expected and they are 1-0 ahead with the Lukaku's goal. I expect them to open the gap more and win this without having much problem. And Italy also are dominating the game against Switzerland. There is no sound of goal but it is very soon to come as it seems. Italy will also win this easily in my opinion.
Yes it was expected from belgium they are really in top form and they are leading 2 0 but still czech republic are dangerous and can score at any moment on the other hand italy are not able to get ahead against switzerland despite their big domination of the game they are not able to find solutions especially since the missed penalty by jorginho.

To tell the truth, it was a really comfortable game for Belgium. They didn't have any problem like I said and ended Czech Republic by 3-0. However, it was a really unfortunate game for Italy. Jorginho has a really weird penalty style and it cost him big in this game. If he scored this penalty, Italy would have even defeated Switzerland by 2 goals at least. But it ended 0-0. I've no doubt that they will do much better in their next match against their weak opponent, Lithuania.

🇺🇦 Glory to Ukraine!
Switzerland was not a weak opponent. Maybe Italy is a strong team, but Switzerland is a good enough team. They are a stable team. And their defense is very good. At the Euro cup, they also performed very well against strong opponents such as France and Spain. Although I also hoped we would see a number of goals in today's match. Because both teams can attack well. However, neither team was able to score a goal.

I wouldn't use the 3-0 win against Switzerland at EURO 2020 as a comparison to yesterday's match since the Italy we saw at that time was completely different from the one we saw yesterday. By the way, the match between Switzerland and Italy took place yesterday, not today.

Italy dominated the whole first half but weren't able to score even one goal. Things were much more balanced in the second half but still we watched no goal at the end of the match. Actually, this was not one of the matches that should have ended goalless. I guess that so many people lost their bet because of a weird result like this. I would expect over 2.5 goals in this match. I'm pretty sure that Italy will make up for this result against Lithuania next time.

Tomorrow, the match of the day is going to be Netherlands vs Turkey, in my opinion. Turkey are leading their group with 11 points and Netherlands are at the second place with 10 points. Turkey defeated Gibraltar 3-0 in their last match and they would have even scored 5+ goals. But they let Gibraltar have few critical goal chances also. On the other hand, Netherlands demolished Montenegro 4-0 and they have boosted their morale a lot also. Turkey haven't defeated Netherlands in this stadium in history. And it is doubtful that they can win this match also. I'm favouring Netherlands in this match but it will still be a tough match surely.
Yes i agree with you that netherland are more likely to win i ve seen turkey performance recently and they are really performing poorly aside from the game against gibrltar where they were hugely favourite they made two draws after been leading with two goals against teams that are not strong so it gives us an overview about the critical situation they are in and poor performance.

The four premier league arrested by ANVISA personnel and Brazilian Federal Police for lieing about completing the quarantine upon entering the country. What's your take, was it right to interrupt the match or should they have waited after the match before taking the stars away. Because at the moment Brazil against Argentina for the world cup qualifers has to be refixed for a latter date.

A shame for Brazil and Argentina for the whole world to see them eating popcorn.
Shame on the part of the Argentine sports team for disrespecting Brazilian health protocols and thinking that football is above the laws of a country just because the event was organized by FIFA.
Shame on the part of the Brazilian health agency that failed to use all legal means to arrest these Argentine players before the game started.

Sad to see this happening and being filmed for the whole world.

And worst of all, I still lost my bet for this game Tongue

Italy played a good match against Switzerland, and if the penalty had been converted, it could have scored 3 points. Switzerland did not look bad either, and perhaps a draw is a natural result for this match. I also didn’t expect the match to be without goals, but I think it’s because Switzerland was trying to play more more careful than usual. For Switzerland, the result of this match can be considered more than acceptable, to play in a draw with the European champions is a good result.

Jesse Lingard was actually on Manchester United's selling list and there was almost an agreement between Man United and West Ham for the transfer of Lingard but Lingard prefers to stay at Man United. His performance against Andora was indeed very good, and maybe Solskjaer will pay more attention to him or give Lingard a chance to play as a starter.

Overall, England played very impressively. From the start of the match, England had been pressing Andorra so they can dominate the game with 83% ball possession and won the game easily with a score of 4-0.
Honestly Lingard is not a bad player, he could always show these kinds of flashes of brilliance time to time but he is not consistent at all and he doesn't always plays at this level. He was not considered by United not because he is a bad player but because they do have enough players at that position plus he would need to be basically just a bench player that is costing them money each game instead of a player that made them some profit if they sold him.

In most other leagues and even in lower levels of premier league Lingard would be a star player of his club, send him to any league and aside from top 1-2 teams he will be the best player in that team overall. So long story short, it is obvious that Lingard is good but United is just better and that is why they always keep looking for even better players. Since he is stuck there, I can see Ole giving him some chances.

Wow! The odds of Morocco winning the match against Guinea are 2.05... In my opinion, that's a gift for the gambler! The statistics for the head-to-head encounters between these countries are also in Morocco's favour... Some people call Morocco the second team of France... Cheesy
Given how they're going strong this time, I think that it's a no brainer to put some money in their side since it's going to be a guaranteed win and even if you bet on both sides, you will still be doing a breakeven.

Hakimi escaped from a potential bad injury in the previous game to find himself with his national team amid a coup in Conakry! What an awful experience. They flight safe home anyway but the odds for that match @2.05? seriously? I find it very interesting. Seeing Guinea latest matches, I find them fluctuating so maybe that's why the odds look like that..
